Monday Night Raw Review.

Superstars Seen Showing Up To The Arena.

Rhea Ripley. Iyo Sky. Bianca Belair. Logan Paul. Jey Uso, and. Gunther were all seen showing up to the arena.

John Cena Segment.

This was awesome. Cena came out to a chorus of boos, but before he could even get a word out. Cody Rhodes joined him. And what transpired, was a fantastic promo dual. Cody verbally berrated John, he pin pointed things that used to get aimed at John, with some differences. His neck tattoo, to him being booed out of the building when he was under his Stardust monicker, this was very impactful, because he beat John to the punch. The fans were on fire during the show, but this was by far one of there proudest moments. Cody asks John why he did what he did. He said that he won't be coming down to Cody's level. Over Cena's career, he had been accused of burying talent, and he used this to his advantage tonight, by saying that he doesn't bury talent, because he is the talent, and that he doesn't care about Cody, because all he is, is a taxi driver, and a pick pocket, stating that Cody disgusts him. John went on to say that everything that Cody has done has been underwhelming, because he's too perfect, because he doesn't have a lot to him other than his entrance music. John rammed home the message that Cody isn't him, because he's to afraid to show his real self, as both men lay personal barbs on each other. Cena threatened to kidnap the WWE Championship after Wrestlemania. Cody put over how the fans chose him, whilst John was given his position by He Who Shall Not Be Named, and tells him that he isn't a hero, he's a piece of s*** , this started of a piece of s*** chant. Cena laid waste to Cody in their final exchanges, by bringing up his past, this caused both men to fight. Cody got the better of John with a cross Rhodes to end the segment. This was brilliant. The fans were on fire here, and it made me wish that I had booked a ticket, and overnight accomodation, because this segment would be worth the price of emission alone. I have no other words.

The New Day Vs The New Catch Republic.

The New Day, beat. The New Catch Republic, in a standard TV Match. This didn't do a lot for me. But it was great to see Tyler Bate back on my TV screen.

Ludwig Kaiser Segment.

Ludwig Kaiser wants a Championship Match at Wrestlemania, because he's faced a load of Ups And Downs. ( insert slapping of my head )

Gunther vs Jimmy Uso.

This was a suprisingly competitive one man beat down. Gunther wrecked Jimmy with a rear naked choke after a decent Match. Jey made the save, but this backfired on him. Jimmy took one hell of a beating, to the point that he needed medical attention, and when he got to his feet, he and his brother were put back down again. Gunther battered Jimmy some more, and then became Alex Delarge. He cable tied Jey to the ring ropes, and him watch his own brother get bloody, and brutalised. This. Was brilliant.

Judgement Day Segment.

Agh isn't this nice. It's all good in The Judgement Day hood. Yeah, that's not going to last. Finn Balor, and. Dom later then beat. Bron Breakker, and. Penta in a standard TV Match, thanks to an accidental sphere. This would act as storythread that I think is going to lead to their Mania Match.

Chad Gable Segment.

Adam Pearce can't be that stupid. El Grande Americano is Chad Gable. In the words of Beavis from Beavis And Butthead. Chad is a liar liar liar liar.

Karrion Kross Segment.

This segment taught me three things. The 1st thing was that he hates AJ styles, the 2nd thing was that he's a tease, and the 3rd is that he's a big fan of Kylie Minogue.

AJ Styles Segment.

This was decent, but not great. Aj got straight to business and called out Logan Paul. And on Logans entrance I noticed something that made me laugh. A fan had brought a sign in the shape of a Prime bottle, with the word P**** written all over it. To this fan I say. I salute you sir. You said what the world was thinking. Both men a fairly stable promo dual, but if i'm honest it was predictable, and fell apart quickly, they crossed all the marks in this segment. Forgiveness, to Logan being called a douche bag. Both men had a fight to end the segment. I'm not sure what to make about this.

Rhea Ripley vs Iyo Sky WWE Womens Championship Special Guest Referee Bianca Belair.

Overall the Match was decent, and had some superd near falls mixed in with some fantastic exchanges. But the Match was thrown out by Belair, after she took bumps, from both Iyo, and. Rhea. All three ladies had a fight, and Rhea served up Riptides for all as the show went off the air. This was a real letdown, and a bad way to send UK fans home happy.

Overview Of Monday Night Raw.

As a long standing fan for over thirty years. This weeks Raw was a weak effort that had some good to great moments. This is the definition of a mix-bag.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a low 7/10.

AEW Collision Review 31.3.2025.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

I liked this opening segment. Toni put over her love for Milwaukee, and wasted no time in calling out Megan Bayne. The spotlight came down, and. Toni stated her thoughts on what happened a couple of weeks ago, likening it sex after a steak dinner. She put over the shame that it put on her, as she pondered her future and remembered who she is. Penelope Ford then got attacked Toni from out of nowhere. Toni took care of this pest, as Megan Bayne attacked from behind. This was a good way to start the show.

The Deathriders Segment.

Moxley said that he fears three women. His mum. His Sister, and his wife, whilst stating what he thinks of Swerve. Whilst Claudio put over his Match against Adam Copeland later this week, and. Marina shafir promised woman on woman violence. I'm not sure what to make of this.

Jay White vs Kevin Knight.

This was a decent showing from both men, however it did have a slight pacing issue, but as soon as that was lifted, the match was decent, and it had a solid flow. White got the win, and then took to the mic in the aftermath, and said that his era will begin when he wins the Owen, and takes the main prize at All In.

MJF At Globelife Field.

The only thing that I took away from this segment was the fact that MJF is terrible at Baseball.

Mercedes Mone vs Robyn Renegade.

Mercedes Mone beat. Robyn Renegade in a flat TV Match. Mercedes then cuts a promo on Billy Starks, and insults the lady who trained her, and said that Robyn has more heart than her, and just like that out comes Athena. Later on she said that she's in the Owen.

Queen Aminata And Serena Deeb Segment.

Queen Aminata vs Serena Deeb at a later point, oh go then AEW if you must. The Match will slap though.

Big Bill And Bryan Keith vs Top Flight.

I didn't like this. I thought the Match was flat, and it never got up off the ground. Big Bill, and. Bryan Keith got the win. I think The Hurt Syndicate is now in their future.

Adam Cole And Daniel Garcia Segment.

From both men showing each other respect, to Daddy Magic, and. Odderick Trong acting like devils on there mens shoulders. This was the catalyst for Garcia to say that he wants to run it back with Adam, so he challenged to a Match next at Dynasty For his AEW TNT Championship. I thought this was a bit clunky, but it managed to get itself back on track.

Dax Harwood vs Wheeler Yuta.

I liked this. The Match had a solid flow, as the story of the Match was centred around Dax's arm injury. Yuta got the win via roll up. The aftermath saw Dax get pissed off with the ref and want to deck him, this led to a pull apart security brawl. Dax accidentally flawed Cash wheeler by accident. Cash walked away leaving his partner behind, this furthered the FTR seperation thread.

Hologram vs Blake Christian.

Hologram, beat. Blake Christian in what was a flat and boring TV Match. So far I haven't been impressed with Blake christian.

Kris Statlander And Thunder Rosa Segment.

Kris Statlander vs Thunder Rosa at a later date. Oh go on then AEW if you must.

Jamie Hayter vs Billy Starks.

This was excellent. Both ladies showcased a solid work rate from the start of the Match. As a fan of both of these ladies. I thought this was a good way to book end the show. Jamie got the win, after a fantastic series of exchanges.

Overview Of AEW Collision.

I have mixed feelings about this show. Yes there elements that were decent, but overall It was a whelming experience, that was very mid table.

This weeks AEW Collision is a low 7/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From UFC Fight Night Mexico

Intro.

Over the years, the mass appeal and globalisation of MMA is something that has to be studied. From London. New York. Paris. Brazil. Mexico, and. Australia. The UFC has become a force in the world of combat sports, and why do we like it so much? Well it's in our DNA, fighting is part of life, and we love it.

5 Kevin Borjas Is A Beast.

Kevin Borjas is a beast. He beat Ronaldo Rodriguez in a 3 round war, that never let up, from start to finish.

4 Damon Martinez Is Him.

I loved this performance. Damon Martinez is him, and i'm very excited for his future.

3.

Even though this wasn't Raul Rosas best performance, it struck me, because this guy is only 20 years old. I mean when I was 20. I was more concerned with trying to find a copy of Batman 50 in mint condition, and this guy is fighting in the UFC. I guess were all differant.

2. Edgar Charvez.

Edgar charvez, that's it, because this guy was unreal last night. He beat Cj Vergarra with a simple but effective rear naked choke. I love rear naked chokes.

1 Brendon Moreno Is Back.

I love watching this man fight. This was a five round war against Steve Erceg, and Brendon bested him by unamous decision. Welcome back Brendon, because the Flyweight division has missed you.

My Top 5 Takeaways From Friday Night Smackdown.

        Intro.

Ok, i'm just goint get this out of the way. It's another Top 5 takeaways list, but this one isn't down to illness. This is because yesterday it was my mums birthday, and I refuse to work on family members birthdays.

5 Opening Promotrain.

You guys know me. I hate Promotrains, but this opening one with Cody Rhodes. Randy Orton, and. Drew Mcintyre was awesome. Every storybeat was hit with ease and perfection, all three men basked in the admiration of fans, as this sets up the potential post mania schedule for Cody. From Cody changing the business. Randy's passion, and. Drew acting like a big scottish cry baby, all of this made for a perfect mesh.

4. Oban Elliott.

Welsh UFC Welterweight stand out Oban Elliott was in attendence. I like this guy, and his fighting style, and it was great to see him here.

3. Braun Strowman vs LA Knight United States Championship.

Jacob Fatu got this Match thrown out, and at this point my brain left my body.

2. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Bret Hart From Wrestlemania 13 is going into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

This is my favourite Match of all time, and it still holds up today. Both men showed their love and passion for the industry in this 20 minute masterpiece. If this Match was a film it would A Clockwork Orange, because the monument of disgust, added to the drama. I don't know how to describe this Match other than it's perfect.

1 Contract Signing.

This segment was awesome. The set up was great, and the dynamic between. Paul Heyman. Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins, and. Cm Punk, would blend into the storybeats with ease, as seths paranoia. Romans self assurance, and punks emotion led to one hell of a final croschendo. Punk being in the main event of Wrestlemania wasn't the favour he wanted from Paul months ago, this is going to lead to roman being on his own, as the act of the ultimate betrayal is starting to loom over the shadow of The Tribal Chief, and he can't even see it coming.

My Top UFC Fighters Who Were Terrible In Films And TV shows.

Intro.

Films and athletes don't always go together like a bacon sandwich with BBQ Sauce, and in some cases, their just damn right laughable, case and point. Hulk Hogan back in the 1980's was seen as god to wrestling fans, but does that mean that Urban Commando. Mr Nanny, or heaven knows it Thunder In Paradise were any good, well no, of course not, all of these endeavours were terrible, but the red and yellow goblin isn't alone in making bad acting choices, in fact UFC Fighters have also made their fair share of stinkers, so here are my top 5 faves, because their either terrible, or just cringe inducing.

5 Randy Couture The Expenables Franchise.

I hate these films. And my god I couldn't understand a word that Captain America said, because these films were so quiet in dialogue.

4 GSP KickBoxer Vengeance.

I don't know about you guys, but I think that GSP was a better fighter, than an actor.

3 The Crow Wicked Prayer.

My god this was bad. This was 1 hour and 39 minutes of my life that I want back. Tito once said that he was born with a gift to act, and at that point I was left thinking. Tito get the receipt from who gave you this gift, for all of our sakes.

2 Chuck Liddell Entourage.

Chuck Liddell wanting to completely batter Kevin Dillon was nothing short of cringe inducing fun, that still makes me laugh.

1 Todd Duffee Never Back Down 2.

Todd Duffee in Never Back Down 2. right i'm off to buy some alcohol just to get the memories of his performance from my mind.

AEW Dynamite Review 27.3.2025.

Kenny Omega vs Blake Christian.

I liked this, but I didn't love it. Yes it did give us fans a good balance of styles, and physicality, which gave way to Kenny getting the win, with a one winged angel. But overall I thought this was predictable, and a bit lifeless. Kenny cut a promo in the aftermath, and said that even though he doesn't wrestle every week. He spoke about his Match at Dynasty, and this brought out Speedball Mike Bailey, who said that he admires Kenny for the person, and the champion that he has become. Ricochet then appeared in a pre recorded message, on his wedding day, and said that he would love the look of Gold on him. This Promo segment ended with a due, good night, bang. I thought this was alright. I just thought that there was a vital ingridient missing.

Chris Jericho Segment.

Chris Jericho Called Bandido, and challenged him to a mask vs ROH Championship Match at Dynasty, and he then verbally laid into his Learning Tree. And so the Jericho Vortex continues.

MJF Segment.

I felt this segment was lazy. MJF came out and was his standard vile self, and called out MVP. Max calls him a legend, and was about to give him his answer from two weeks ago. But this was when Bobby, and. Shelton. Bobby came out and took the card from Max, and ripped it up. This was when Big Bill, and. Bryan Keith came out, and had a laughable promo dual, challenging Bobby, and. shelton to a Tag Team Championship at a later date. MVP told them, ok, win a Match, and then we can talk.

Brody King vs Kyle Fletcher And Powerhouse Hobbs vs Mark Davis

I liked both of these Matches. The first outing was an excellent blend of mechanics coming together perfectly, with awesome exchanges, whilst the second was a battle of two big men slapping meat. Hobbs, and. Fletcher got the wins.

The Patriarchy Segment.

By the sounds of this backstage segment. I think that Nick Wayne wants to do this on his own.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

Are Hangman Adam Page, and. Swerve Strickland done. Nope, not on your life.

Rated FTR Segment.

I liked this. From Dax taking the lead, and apologised for his actions last week, claiming that he felt his team had been dragged away from their goals. Adam Copeland tried to refute this, but all this did was leave Cash wheeler in the middle like a child of divorce. This lead to the trio making a challenge to The Deathriders for the trios Championships at Dynasty. The Deathriders answered this back later on.

Swerve Strickland And Jon Moxley Segment.

This was the best segment of the night. Both of these men had a fantastic promo dual. Swerve took the lead with truth, whilst Mox fired back with passion, and. Grace. Claudio impoesd on Nana, and. Willow and Marina, nearly had Crowbar vs led pipe fight. I loved this.

Max Castor Segment.

Max Castor got wrecked by The Opps, and all I have to say is this. You love to see it.

Jay White Segment.

Jay White is entering The Owen Hart Tournament, and all I have to say is this. Arrggggh Yeah.

Konosuke Takeshita vs Mark Briscoe.

Konosuke Takeshita, beat. Mark Briscoe in what was a fun Match to watch at 8.30am before I went to my day job.

Megan Bayne And Penelope vs Thunder Rosa And Timeless Toni Storm.

Ok everyone this Match has it's own theme song. Feel the magic, and hear the roar Thundertits are loose. Thunder Thunder Thunder Thunder Thundertits oooooooooh. I had fun with this Match, and if i'm honest even though the in ring work didn't always mesh, this worked to further the myth, and the glamourzon that is Megan Bayne who got the pin over Timeless Toni Storm.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

This weeks AEW Dynamite by recent standards is a harsh mix-bag of lazy action, and Promos, being partnered up with some very good stuff. Yes. I did have fun watching this broadcast, but with a major PPV just around the corner. AEW need to do better with some elememts of their weekly TV output.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a decent 7/10.

My Top 5 Wrestlers Who've Turned Their Lives Around.

Intro.

The phrase, turn your life around is something that in todays modern day world, doesn't get the flowers it deserves, but in life, as in wrestling, we all have trials and tribulations, and it's in all of us, to turn things around, if we should go down the wrong path.

5 R Truth.

This one is imspirational. Nowadays Ron Killings, better known as R truth can be seen acting like everyone's favourite John Cena fan, but did you know that before he even entered a wrestling ring, he had spent time inside prison for drug charges, this is true. Before Killings became Truth. He worked in the rap music world, performing with acts like Snoop Dogg, and. Tupac, and it was from working in this world that landed him trouble, but all bad stories have a possitive ending. When he was in Prison it was here that he discovered wrestling, and as they say the rest is history.

4 MVP.

From a young age Alvin Antonio Burke didn't have an easy life, he was in a Street Gang, and it was here when was sent to Prison for the first time, spending 6 months in a juvenile detention centre for robbery, however he would up spending 9 years in a proper federal establishment for Kidnap and robbery after this, and it was in his second stint, that he found religion for a time, and centred his life around wrestling, and it's a bet that paid off, because just look at him now.

3 HBK.

The career of Shawn Michaels has been told to death, but Michaels is the man, who has been through hell thanks to drug addiction, only to come through the otherside, and have a stellar second coming, ending his career of the back of two thrilling encounters with The Undertaker at the show of shows.

2 Jeff Hardy.

This man has been to jail on two ocassions, turned things around, relaped, turned things around again, and gone back to prison again. But when Jeff is on, he's on.

1 Cain Velasquez.

I'm not going to go into too much detail here because i'm going to cover this in an up and coming piece, and all I have to say is this. #FreeValesquez.

My Top 5 UFC Fighters Who Didn't Seize Their Oppotunities.

      Intro.

The words seize the day, often gets overlooked, especially in MMA. But when fighters come in with a load of hype, or in some cases have a chance to enhance respect from fans, some fighters rise to the occassions, whilst others don't take their chances. In life, you only get one chance to make an impact. So in reality you must seize the day.

5. Gabe Rudiger.

This speaks for itself. If you're going to appear on the The ultimate fighter, then it's advised that you know what you're doing when it comes to cutting weight. Gabe was a standout in the WEC, becoming their Lightweight Champion. so he had a bit of fanfair. That quickly evaporated when he entered The Ultimate Fighter house, ate a load of cake. He missed weight for his fight against Corey Hill, and Dana swiftly kicked him off the show.

4. Michael Bisping UFC 100.

1 2, and he was done. After a coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter UK vs USA, alongside Dan Henderson. Everything came to a head at UFC 100, when the pair faced each other, and what happened. After all of the trash was done on the show, and in the media. Hendo gave one to the chin of Bisping, in a moment that has been played for years on highlight reels.

BJ Penn UFC 137.

Now this is just all round sad. BJ Penn is one of the best Lightweight/Welterweights in the history of MMA. And his fight on this night against Nick Diaz, was a sad reminder that penns career should come to an end. Sometimes seizing the day, means knowing when enough is enough.

2. Tito Ortiz.

The Godfather of ground'n pound hasn't always had the best relationship with the UFC, from refusing to fight Chuck Liddell, his arguments with Dana White, being played out in public, to overall making dodgy decisions, that may not have hurt the sport, that was in it's infantcy, to stating that he's a businessman. Well if that's the case, then my name is Lord Sugar. Basically Tito hurt Tito.

1. Glover Taxiera.

Now don't get me wrong. I love Glover Teixiera, however his performance against Jon Jones at UFC 172, was a complete mismatch. Glover got dominated, and was made to look like an ametaur, by the former Light Heavyweight Champion. Glover at this point had been on a pretty impressive run of form, and then he came up against the goat.

       Monday Night Raw review 24.3.2025.

        Intro.

Nothing beats British wrestling fans. I have loved watching Monday Night Raw, and. Friday Night Smackdown at a decent hour. I have watched all the european dates with my dinner on my lap, and I have to say it, Please Papa H can I have more of this ? I'm a real life version of Oliver aren't I.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Cm Punk. Liv Morgan. Raquel Rodriguez. Lyra Valkyria. Rey Mysterio. Dragon Lee. Penta, and. Bron Breakker were all seen showing up to the arena.

John Cena Segment.

This. Was another perfect segment from the house that hate built. From the outset when Cena got mugged off by a kid in the crowd, to the fans that rammed out the Hydro in Glasgow booing big baby John out of the building, complete with a few f bombs. Cena went straight into business, by shaming the fans over the course of a 25 minute promo dual. As the segment went on, his overall loathing, and distain towards fans grew heavier with every bitter intended word. He laid bare his plans for what he's going to do after Mania, as he plans to hold the Championship hostage, because us fans haven't done anything with our lives. This didn't sit well with the current Champion Cody Rhodes, who came out and fired back against John, standing up for the fans, and laying everything on the line tonight, it was at this point that Cena contemplated fighting Cody, but instead he walked out, but Cody probed him back into the ring wanting a fight, but like a true cruel Disney Villain Cena just worked out. I could sit here and give you this beat by beat, but if I did that. This piece would be too long. So apologies if i've missed anything, but overall. I thought this was flawless.

The Uso's vs A Town Down Under

In the words of Kermit The Frog. The Uso's are together again, and they're beating ATown Down Under in a flat TV Match. Gunther then attacked Jey in the aftermath, which made Jey Question himself. Sort him out Jimmy. No Jimmy I didn't mean you take on Gunther next week in London.

Judgement Day Segment.

Well it seems like The Judgement Day are a happy emo family again. Dom wishes. Raquel luck, in her Womens intercontinental Championship Match, against Lyra Valkyria.

Question Time.

I have a serious question for you guys. Just who is El Grande Americano. I mean he looked familiar when he beat dragon later on in the show, and in this well put together vingnette. I just can't picture were I've seen him before.

Lyra Valkyria vs Raquel Rodriguez.

Lyra Valkyria, beat. Raquel Rodriguez in a standard TV Match to retain her Womens Intercontinental Championship, she got beaten down by Liv Morgan in the aftermath, as. Bayley made the save

Pat Mcafe.

I know this man is the definition of Marmite, but all I have to say is this. Pat Mcafe living his best life whilst wearing a kilt, you love to see it.

The New Day.

The New Day want Tag Team Gold. And just like that my brain went for a walk.

Adam Pearce Promotrain

This guy reminds of Rodney Dangerfield, because he gets no respect, and this segment is proof of that. This promotrain between Iyo Sky. Bianca Belair, and. Rhea Ripley, was a carbon copy of what we got last week, and that's a real shame. Next week Iyo will face Rhea for the WWE Womens Championship, and. Bianca will be the guest referee. If you placed last weeks contract segment, in the place of what we got, you could play a game called guess the difference.

Cm Punk Segment.

As I watched this segment I realized something. I'm the same as the people of Glasgow, because we love Cm Punk. I loved this segment. From Punk taking us fans on a ride through history, to him giving us his opinions on the triple threat at Mania, to his favourite past time. Taking pointless jabs at his ex employer. Smackdown is going to be in London on Friday, and we all know what happened the last time Punk was in the capital as part of a major show. I'm hungry. I feel like eating some muffins.

Logan Paul.

Logan Paul is going to be on  Raw next week, to have a catch up with Aj Styles. Oh boy.

Chad Gable Segment.

It's no secret that I haven't felt very well over the past few days, and yeah. Chad Gable looks how I felt on Friday Night.

Penta vs Bron Breakker WWE Intercontinental championship Match.

I thought this was a complete miss step. The Match was thrown when The Judgement Day got involved. Finn led a beatdown on Bron, as that heat machine Dominik Mysterio tried to force Penta's hand, into joining the darkside. Penta instead laid out the dirty one, as the show went off the air.

Overview of Monday Night.

This. Was an all over the place broadcast, brought to life by a red hot Scottish crowd. If you were in attendence for the show. I hope you had a good time. I just think that this show resembled an unbalanced bag of Pick'n mix. Like what you like, and leave what you don't.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a mid 6/10.

AEW SlamDunk Collision Double Header 24.3.2025.

       Intro.

Tribalism is an ugly word. This week WWE anounced their Road to Clash At The Castle Paris Tour, and I have to say it. I'm done. WWE have centred this around AEW bringing Forbidden Door AT THE SAME TIME. I hate this, because if you're a fan in the UK, this splits up the devide, and can be detrimental to AEW, when it comes to which venue they book. It's believed that WWE have a holding agreement with The 02, which in itself isn't right. Now don't get me wrong, areas in the UK, and Ireland that don't normally get TV tapings, getting them is a very exciting thing, but It shouldn't come at the cost of splitting the audience. I just think that this is going a bit too far. I didn't like when WWE tried to ruin TNA, and I don't like it now.

Adam Cole vs Daniel Garcia AEW TNT Championship.

I liked this. From the early going the action had a decent back and forth flow, and the physicality allowed the Match to have time to breathe. The near falls were excellent, and well paced, and the counteractions made the time fly by. Which fell into the finish, as the time ellapsed, which means Garcia retained his belt. Later on in the second broadcast. The Undisputed Kingdom, gave their thoughts on what's been going on with them. Cole wants another shot at Garcia, and. Oreilly, and. Oderick Trong, want a shot against FTR.

Max Castor Open Challenge.

Max Castor got wrecked by Hook, and it was glorious. This oughta shut this guy up.

Queen Aminata vs Julia Hart.

Queen Aminata, beat. Julia Hart in a well worked TV Match. I enjoyed this Match.

Rocky Romero. Mark Briscoe and. Powerhouse Hobbs vs The Murder Machines and Konosuke Takeshista.

I liked this. It Match didn't out stay its welcome. Konosuke got the win with a Blue Thunder Bomd, and did Don Callis tease a Match between Kenny Omega, and. Kyle Fletcher in their segment later on in the second broadcast.

The Deathriders vs Top Flight And AR Fox AEW Trios Championship.

I'm not sure what to make of this. I felt their was something missing with this Match up. The high flying pace was very moderate, and this left me with one question? Why. And the answer is. I don't know. The deathriders got the win. And I was left pondering my life's decisions.

Kazuchika Okada Segment.

I love this man, because he puts dogs to sleep, because he puts bitches to sleep. I know what he's on about. I have a dog, and I tuck her into her basket every night.

Johny TV vs Bandido.

I hated all of this. The Match was flat and boring, and the segment that followed afterwards, concerning Gravity's mask, and Chris Jericho, was unwatchable.

Megan Bayne And Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

I liked this. When you guys watch this, just check out Luthers facial expressions. All of this was great.

Harley Cameron vs Aminah Belmont.

Harley Cameron, beat. Aminah Belmont in a standard TV Match, and then took her seat at the commentary desk for the main event.

Kommander And Hologram vs Dralistico And The Beast Mortas.

This was fun, not great, but fun. Love was in the air for The Beast Mortas. The Match had a solid flow to it, as the exchanges wrapped up into the final stages of the Match, the fun and shenanigans were put over massively, as Kommander got the win for his team. Who's this Harleygram?

Overview Of AEW Collision SlamDunk Double Header.

These shows were paired together, and if i'm being honest, they were an uneven mix-bag. Like what you like people.

This weeks AEW Collision is a high 6/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From UFC Fight Night London 23.3.2025.

My Apologies.

Ok guys I've got to start this off with an apology. Last night I was due to do a review of Friday Night Smackdown, but like all best laid plans, this went out the window. I fell ill, and as the broadcast went on. I just got worse, and worse, and worse. so this means that I had to cancel the review outright. I hate this, because I take a lot of pride in giving you guys my best when it comes to content.

5. Lone'er Kavanagh Is A Future Star.

I think this kid is a future star, and the fact that he showed grace in victory, when he Rafael Dos Santos, was a nice touch.

4 Carlos Ulsberg Is No Joke.

I'm just going to say it, this guy is going to hold UFC Gold in the future. His win over Jan Blackhowicz was a suprise.

3 Bad Performances.

Both Leon Edwards, and. Molly Mcane put forward terrible performances, with the latter retiring in the aftermath. I don't know what to say. Both of performances shocked me.

2. Welcome To The Welterweight Division Kevin Holland.

Kevin Holland is now in the Welterweight Division, and juding by how he dominated Gunnar Nelson, I think were in for some fun times.

1 RIP George Foreman.

The show kicked off with this in memoriam moment, and all I have to say is this. He wasn't just the inventor of one of the best kitchen appliances, that I have ever used. He was a champion, and an all round humble human being, who's grace will always be missed. RIP Big Man.

My Top 5 Times AEW Went To Far.

    Intro.

Ok, just for context this is being written on a friday Morning at 9.am, so it's being written 24 hours after I watched Moxley and his moment of dangerous accupuncture, and I've spent a bit of time scowering through X to get a solid view of opinions, and this got me thinking. Just how many times has AEW Over stepped the mark?

5 Uummmm Pizza.

I have no words for this. Cast your mind back to the summer of 2021, and MJF, and. Chris Jericho were in a best of five rivalry, and if chris can get past 5 opponents of Max's choosing then he would get a match against him at All Out 2021. This led to the 28th of July edition of AEW Dynamite, when Chris faced off against Nick Gage. The Match would include a spot that showed Nick cutting Chris's head open, with a Pizza Cutter, just as they went to the picture and picture break, and which company was first to have thier ad displayed on TV, none other than Dominos, and lets just put it this way, they weren't pleased at all, stating they were now weighing up their options for the future, as to whether they would advertise on all AEW broadcasts.

4 UK Cuts.

I'm not the biggest fan of how ITV pressent AEW here in the UK, it always seems to feel like an after thought, and in some places has been cut. This was the case of the shows first ever broadcast. The show aired at 11.05pm on friday the 6th of October, and was shown fully uncut, but on the Sunday the 8th of October repeat, that aired at 8.50am. The show had been heavily edited, but it still got loads of complaints to Ofcom, stating that it was way to violent for the watershed. The broadcaster received a warning from the regulator.

3 Hiring Ric Flair.

This caused a massive stur back in October of 2023. Two years before this Accusations surrounding Ric, were made public after an episode of Darkside Of The Ring was centred around accounts of sexual assault caused by the veteran. Yes it was a good idea to use him for Stings retirement, but not at this cost.

2. Concussions.

As the science surrounding CTE is forever evloving. AEW's rough and tumble exterior has been called into question. Concussions have played a large part in this. Case and point. All In 2020 Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guervara. Hardy got sphered off a ladder and landed awkwardly through a table onto a naked concrete floor. Aubrey Edwards was told to allow the Match to continue. This was an extremely bad call, and common sense needed to prevail.

1. Wembley Footage.

This was stupid. It was petty, and damn right dumb. And this all started thanks to Cm Punk going on the Ariel Helwani podcast. AEW aired the footage that Got Cm Punk fired. I will never understand why Tony Khan gave this the ok.

        My Top 5 UFC DVDS.

       Intro.

I love DVDS, now don't get me wrong I love a good stream, but you can't beat a good old fashioned DVD. Over the years i've collected a vast number of UFC DVDS from Ultimate Fighter boxsets, profile pieces, to PPV's, and as a fan I still go back to them, and recently I have found myself going down this well of awesome MMA, and you know what? I had so much fun doing it.

5. UFC Ultimate Heavyweights.

Any disc that features Mirko Crocop getting knocked out by Gabriel Gonzaga. A potentially bad person getting dominated by Cain Valesquez, and Roy Nelson showcasing why big country is the man, is a good one in my books.

4. Iceman.

This is my go to when I know I have a hard week of work ahead, because hearing how the Iceman Chuck Liddell came to fame is inspiring. I know that Chuck's name comes with a bit of controversy nowadays, but it doesn't takeaway the fact that this man's attitude, when it comes to competing is something that needs to be studied.

3. Bad Blood Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz.

I can sum this DVD very easily. I love watching people who hate each other, completely batter each other, and the main build behind these two legends rivalry, basically people hating each other sells.

    2. The Ultimate Matt Hughes.

This is another DVD that I watch if i've got another hard week ahead at work. Matt telling his career story of how hard work pays off, isn't just a good watch, it's a reason to take a look at the mans career. I know that Matt has had his issues, that make his overall feel nowadays, feel a bit problematic, but it's like Dana White quotes in the main feature. It's either you are, or you aren't, and. Matt Hughes is.

1 The Ultimate Royce Gracie.

So everyone wants to thank this man, and his family for inventing Ju jitsu, you're welcome. Were would we be with out this man, and his epic performance from UFC 1. Thank you Royce.

AEW Dynamite Review 20.3.2025.

International Championship No1 Contenders 4 Way Match.

Were skipping the intro this week, and getting straight into the action. I liked this Match between Orange Cassidy. Mike Bailey. Mark Davis, and. Ricochet, the Matches within the Match were a fascinating site, as all four men showcased energetic bursts, that gave the Match time, and space to breathe. Ricochet got on commentary at one point, which made me laugh . The final exchanges were great between all 4 men gave way for a bit of a screwball finish, when Ricochet covered Mike Bailey, who had Mark davis covered. The ref counted the three, and it was announced that both men had won the Match, which means it will be Speedball Mike Bailey vs Ricochet vs Kenny Omega at Dynasty. I love this development. It's not the route that I would've taken, but this is stellar.

Mercedes Mone vs Billie Starks TBS Championship.

I'm just going to say it. This. Was excellent. Billie showed a lot of heart in defeat. The Match had solid physicality, and it worked in the progress with their chemistry. Yes there was a minor botch, but it didn't take away my enjoyment of the Match. Mone retained.

The Outrunners Basketball Mascots.

The Outrunners are now Mascots for the Omaha Mavericks. I don't know who they are. Sorry America i'm a Brit who only knows the NBA.

MJF Segment.

I liked this. MJF was sat backstage, and he pondered what is in his future, as he went past storylines, and who he's beaten, because he wants his triple b back. He's going to answer MVP next week.

Street Fight AEW World Heavyweight Championship Jon Moxley vs Adam copeland.

If this Match was performed in the tune of a song from a musical. It would say. Violence glorious violence, all spikey and wreckless. From fighting in an equipment vehicle, to brawling across the arena, and the added drama of pure disgust, after Mox got suplexed onto Adams spikey friend. I did get confused with why this was in the midcard, but given the fact that there Match at Revolution stunk the arena out, this made sense. There was interference from The deathriders that bled into the Match, that saw Marina Shafir stop a nearfall, and then get decked by Willow Nightingale. FTR helped make the save, and  Kip Sabian, and. Nick Wayne, did some dirty work for their dad. This allowed Mox to get the win, and retain his belt, but it was the aftermath that has sparked my interest. Dax Harwood walked out on Adam copeland. I like this, as it teases the split of FTR, and if this the aim, then for me, you do this at All In, because this would allow the story to have time to breathe.

Bandido Segment.

Bandido wants to get his hands on Chris Jericho, and. Johny TV wants a piece of Bandido. Ok I guess.

Will Osperay vs AR Fox.

Will Osperay, beat. AR Fox, in a decent TV Match, that was a lot of fun to Watch.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

Hangman Adam Page had a backstage segment with Renee Paquette, and he said that he's entering the Owen Hart Tournament, because he doesn't want Swerve to hold AEW Gold. I liked this.

Megan Bayne vs Kris Statlander.

I liked this. Toni storm on commentary had me spitting out the granola squares I had for breakfast, because she was hilarious. Good by Sugar Tits. The Match showcased excellent physicality from both ladies, Bayne got the win in what was a fantastic final exchange, thanks to penelope Ford. Toni then attacked Bayne, and then cut a promo on her, giving her a title Match at Dynasty, whilst threatening to rip her tits off.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

I had fun watching this broadcast, and i'm liking the direction that the company is going in, heading into one of their biggest shows of the year.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

My Top UFC TUF Competitors Who Have Sadly Passed Away.

Intro.

This is a bit of a different piece today, as i'm going to going to be taking a look at the darkside of fame, as to how it corresponds with MMA. I feel that this subject is something that needs to be discussed, and it doesn't come up enough in my opinion, yes. This is a dark subject, but these guys gave everything to the fight industry, and for what?

5. Lodunne Sincaid.

Lodunne Cincaid was a competitor on the 1st season of TUF, as a member of Team Couture. Lodunne may not have lived out his dream, but he got to show his talent on national stage. Lodunne passed away from a heart attack on April 7 2019.

4 Kimbo Slice.

This one really stings even now. Kimbo passed away at the age of 42 due multiple health complications. RIP Big man.

3 Corey Hill.

As a member of Team of Team Penn. Hill stood out thanks to his awesome skill set, and height. He had an overwhelming personality, that said everything about the man. He passed away at the age of 38 due to pneumonia. RIP big man.

2. Josh Samon.

After competing on the 17th season of the show, Josh would go on and have a decent career in the UFC, he passed away from an accidental drug overdose in april of 2016. I recently watched a tribute about Josh, and the impact that this man had on people is an emotional thing to watch. He was the definition of love, and it showed in his fighting. RIP big man.

1 Stephan Bonnar.

From having an infectious personality, to an insane fighting ability. Stephan Bonnar was him. From competing on the 1st season of the Ultimate Fighter Stephan would go on to have a great career in the UFC, and a fight in Bellator, before retiring from the sport. But over the course of his career, he was plagued with injuries, and as result he became a drug addict, relying on painkillers to take away his contest pain, this would see his life go on a downwardspiral, his relationships with friends, former colleagues, and his wife all fell into the background. He would be arrested on multiple occasions, as his addiction got worse, this would lead to his death, because on December 22nd 2022 Stephan was bound dead in his home, as a result of an accidental Overdose. This one stung, and it still does even now.

If you or someone you know has been affected by the issues raised in this article. In the UK you can call the Bereavement Service helpline on 0800 151 2012. Local councils will have means of support, if you wish to seak them out anywhere in the world.

My Top 5 most Cringeworthy UFC Moments.

Intro.

I've been a massive UFC fan for years, and even though the worlds leading fight promotion has given some great moments, they have also been known to give us some cringe worthy moments, so here are some my faves.

5 Forrest Griffin Tries To Become Joe Rogan.

This should be a lesson to all fighters, if you lose a fight, you should never leave the cage, and upon coming back to the cage, you shouldn't then think that you're Joe Rogan, and takeover an entire Interview, this is what happened when Tito Ortiz, lost to Forrest Griffin. Forrest turned this section of UFC 148 into the Forrest Griffin show. This pissed off Tito Ortiz, and. Dana White, all of this was awkward.

4. Season 8 of TUF.

I actually like this season of TUF. It had some good fights, and an awesome finale card, but when fighters get bored, and food, and bodily functions get involved. Things get cringey.

3. Demian Meia vs Anderson Silva.

This fight was. Cringey, awful, and had a load of showboating from Silva. This turned the promotions debut in Abu Dabi, from a triumphant success into a Cringeworthy look at why showboating isn't cool.

2. Jason Mayhem Miller Hindsight.

Team Miller vs Team Bisping season 14 of TUF, is arguably one of my favourite seasons of the show, but hindsight is a beautiful thing. Jason Miller was one of the opposing coaches, who was a perfect fodder for Michael Bisping, who would beat Miller in the finale in an embarrassing Match, and would go on to lose another fight in the UFC, before he got cut from the promotion, after UFC 146, and  just a year after this, he was arrested on domestic violence charges. Now I know what you're thinking why is this Cringeworthy, when you take his personality that has carried himself throughout his career, and you then hear this. It just makes you think, man this guy is an embarressment.

1 UFC 84 Press Conference.

I have a question for you guys, was Tito Ortiz the master of his own downfall? Because if he was, then I'm pretty sure it started here, because his impressions of Dana White, and his overall criticism of the company, made for some painful viewing, and it was in some way grattifying.

Monday Night Raw Review 17.3.2025.

 Intro.

So far so good. WWE is in Europe, and the fans have been electric. I love European fans, they're like fans from my homeland, because they bring the noise, and the energy, and tonights Monday Night Raw which came live from Brussels, was no different.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Finn Balor. Bron Breakker. Bianca Belair, and. Iyo Sky were all seen showing up to the arena.

Cena And Cody Segment.

WWE started off hot with this segment. I loved this. John Cena came out, with anger dripping from his face, he was greated with a chorus of boos from the fans in Brussels, as he laid waste to them saying that his relationship with them, was the second part of an abusive relationship. He calls them bullies, and said that he's not a babyface or a heel he's a human being, this was a clever way to break down the forth wall. John cutting down the fans, and making them look weak was captivating, as he told them, that nothing he ever did was good enough for them, as he blamed the fans for everything, calling them selfish. No one has ever asked John how he feels, because the fans have told him what they think of him for years, so they get nothing from him, because we just take, and take, and take. They chanted for Cody, and the face that used to run the place, couldn't hide his distain, he said that he's the definition of his catchphrases, because the fans that believed in him, haven't done anything with their lives, and just like that he was done with the fans, as he broke up with us, stating that he doesn't need them. This was when Cody came out. Mr Rhodes basked in the fans adjulation. He said that these fans have given everything to John, because they trusted him, and believed in him, so who the hell is he. Cena adressed Cody as a kid, and this caused the champ to lose his cool, and tell him to shut up. Cody told him, that at Wrestlemania, he wants to face the reel John Cena, and not this whiny little Bitch. This was excellent, as both men left the ring, they were a solid study in contrast. Cody walked out as a confident human being, whilst John looked like he had been drained of all life. The camerawork and all round execution, added to the drama of this excellent segment. Flawless stuff. Enough said.

Ludwig Kaiser vs Penta No Holds Barred Match.

I liked this. The flow of the match was great, and the physicality matched it perfectly, and it didn't suffer from what came before it, because the fans were still on fire. Penta got the win, and now has his sights set on Brons Intercontintal Championship.

Judgement Day Segment.

Dom, mate, just keep your mouth shut. Finn is never going to accept Penta as a member of The Judgement. Tread carefully my dodgy one.

Ivy Nile vs Dakota Kai.

From Chad Gable, and. American Made getting chased out by Dragon Lee, and. Rey Mysterio, and the awkward clunkyness of the Match, allowed Dakota to get the win. This Match was beyond flat, and it failed to get out of 1st gear.

Iyo Sky And Bianca Belair Contract Signing.

I liked this. From Michael Cole calling Adam Pearce a show off, because he can speak belgian, to both ladies having a decent mini promo dual. Rhea Ripley then came out, and proceeded to turn things upside down, by causing chaos. She signed the contract after cutting a scaving promo on both Bianca, and. Iyo. The chaos started off after Iyo got faced palmed by Bianca, and the fight ended when Rhea slammed both Bianca, and Iyo onto a table that didn't break. The fight continued backstage later on. A threeway for Mania, yes please.

Jey Uso vs Austin Theory.

I didn't like this. His interaction with Gunther, before, and after the Match just screamed the words get on with it, and the Match against Theory was over way to quickly. Jey holding Gold though, does look good.

The Crede Brothers vs Dragon Lee And Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio, and. Dragon Lee, beat. The Crede Brothers in a standard TV Match, that went nowhere.

Seth Rollins Segment.

The fans were on fire again during this segment. Seth looked genuinely amazed. After he lets us know who he is, as the Cm Punk chants roll in, but Seth wants to talk about Roman, because Roman can't make a plan, without having it go past his wiseman, and with both men being on Smackdown this week, he decided that he's going to head on over to Bolonga, and meet up with both of them. Smackdown this friday is now a must watch.

AJ Styles Segment.

AJ Styles loves Brussels, but he can't stand Karrion Kross. I just want this storyline to be done with.

Bron Breakker vs Finn Balor Intercontinental Championship.

This. Match was decent, put nowhere near great. Finn and Bron have decent chemistry, but that wasn't given time to shine here. The interference from The Judgement Day became the story, and that was a real shame, because it hampered the physicality. Bron retained, and Dirty Dom needs to get a fake id, and his passport, and run, because Finn is pissed.

Overview of Monday Night Raw.

I don't know whether it was the fact that this show had ok in ring action, or whether it was the show being focused around one of the best promos that WWE have produced so far this year, or maybe it was the fact that I watched this show whilst eating my dinner, because it aired at a normal time here in the UK. I think it was all three, which is a good sign in the build up to the show of shows.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a high 7/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From UFC Fight Night 104 Vettori vs Dolidze.

Intro.

Over the past few years, these UFC Fight Night Apex cards have started to grow on me. The action always varies, and in this enviroment, it makes everything a bit more snug, and this card wasn't any differant, so here's my thoughts on this outing.

5 Seung Woo Choi vs Kevin Vallejos.

Kevin Vallejos is going to be a force to be wreckoned with. His win over Seung Woo Choi by knockout was a mixture of great footwork, and stunning Boxing, and it was an awesome sight to be seen.

4 Diyar NurGozhay vs Brenson Ribeiro.

Diyar, was an animal on Saturday Night, as he easily submitted Brenson, in what was an excellent display of i'm better than you, and you know it.

3. Da'mom Blackshear ( that's it )

Da'mon Blackshear is the man, he dispatched Cody Gibson easily, and that was all she wrote.

2. Chidi Bang Njokuani Is Class In defeat.

When a fighter loses, they can either go down two roads. Road 1, you could act like a renta version of Josh Koscheck, or. Connor Mcgreggor, or you can take rd 2. The class route. Chidi Bang acted like a class gentleman when he was interviewed by Michael Bisping. We love you Chidi Bang.

1. Roman Dolidze.

In a frustrating effort. Roman Dolidze, beat. Marvin Vettori, in a stand up bout, to end the show. I didn't know what to make of this fight.

AEW Collision Review 16.3.2025.

Intro.

Bright lights are on and AEW is going to set my soul on fire. Viva Las Vegas. Viva Las Vegas. Viva, oh viva Las Vegas. I know what you're all thinking. Patrick shut up your not Elvis, so don't even try it.

AEW Stars Before The Show.

Ricochet. Katsuyouri Shibata. Mark Davis. Mark Briscoe. The Undisputed Kingdom, and FTR, were seen giving their thoughts on each other ahead of their Matches tonight.

Ricochet vs Katsuyouri Shibata Internatioal Championship Eliminator Tournament.

I loved this. From the superb physicality, and gamesmanship that both men showed.  Shibata playing the older brother version of keep away, to Jeffrey Dalmer getting the win, by being a cheating little rat. This Match, was a lot of fun and a great way to kick the show off.

The Murder Machines Murdering Fools.

RIP to these local enhancement talents, they came, they saw, they got murdered by the Murder Machines. More on these guys later.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

Timeless Toni Storm loves Las Vegas, but she hates Megan Bayne. I loved Luther in the background dressed up as a Bond villain.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs Griff Garrison.

Powerhouse Hobbs, beat Griff Garrison in a flat TV Match, and I know what you're all thinking. Griff Garrison is still in AEW. Griff's mates in his frat house faction, were then cleared out by The Outrunners.

Thunder Rosa Segment.

Thunder Rosa cut a passionate promo on Megan Bayne, and then was attacked by Ms Bayne. Now I like Thunder Rosa, but I also like Megan Bayne, but which one's better, there's only one way to find out? Fiiiiiiggggghhhht. Thunder sold the beatdown perfectly. This would be an episode thread for Rosa.

Mark Davis vs Mark Briscoe International Championship Eliminator Tournament.

I loved this. Mark Briscoe having chair fun, added like a perfect mix with Mark Davis's hard hitting style. The Murder Machines helped their faction friend get the win, they then proceeded to deck some local enhancement talents, they were saved by Briscoe, and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Swerve Strickland Segment.

This. Was the highlight of the show. Swerve was on fire here. He said that he would love to face Ricochet again, and then proceeded to do his best Impersonation of Simon Miller. He talked about his time from last year, upon to now, and said that even though he respects Adam Copeland, he will go through him, regardless of the history they have, because he's in his way. And when it came to Jon Moxley, he said that he's desperate everytime he talks in riddles, it was at this point when Mox attacked Swerve, whilst looking like the worst bank robber i've ever seen. After the attack the camera followed Mox to the back were an ambulance could be seen, and he said that Wednesday it's on.

Hologram And Top Flight vs Shane Taylor Promotions.

Hologram, and. Top Flight, beat. Shane Taylor Promotions in a flat and boring match, as. Action Andretti and Lio Rush just looked on. The fans were dead for this, and you know what I don't blame them.

Thunder Rosa vs Megan Bayne.

Megan Bayne, beat Thunder Rosa in a solid TV Match, and looked awesome in the process. She beat Thunder down in the aftermath. Thunder was saved by Kris Statlander, and Bayne was stared down by Timeless Toni Storm. I liked this, even though the ending was a bit convoluted.

FTR vs Roderick Strong And Kyle O'reilly.

I liked this. I felt like I was watching the old FTR. Their tenacity was back, and the overall feeling surrounding the team is slowly starting to come back. I had a great time watching this. Adam Cole, and. Daniel Garcia were onOverview commentary and added some solid insights, the near falls were moulded into the physicality perfectly, as the final exchanges saw FTR get the win. Daniel Garcia, and. Adam Cole had a stare down ahead of their Championship Match next week.

Overview Of AEW Collision.

This broadcast was an interesting oversight into how the company is moving forward, and I have to say it. I'm liking the direction. The in-ring work was solid, and it was great that being the main focus.

This weeks AEW Collision is a solid 8/10.

My Top 5 Takeawats From Friday Night Smackdown.

My apologies.

Ok guys i'm starting this off with an apology, for the lateness of this piece, this is due to me having to work overtime in my day job. So a big apology from me, and I hope you enjoy my work.

5. The Opening Promotrain.

I don't know about you guys, but I couldn't stand this promotrain between. LA Knight. Jimmy Uso. Solo Sikoa, and his family, and Braun Strowman, the 6 man tag that followed wasn't bad, and. Braun Strowman's, and. Jacob Fatu beat down angle was decent in the aftermath, but overall this wasn't for me.

4 Jade Cargill Segment.

This sit down segment with Jade Cargill was excellent, the camera work, was solid, and Jades interaction with Liv Morgan, and. Raquel was class.

3 Drew Mcintyre.

So I guess were off to the races with Drew Mcintyre, and. Damien Priest. The Match at Mania will bang in my opinion.

2. Cody Rhodes On MizTV.

I loved this segment. Cody lays out The Miz, and then calls out John Cena. I want Monday to come around right now.

 1 The Fans.

I love European fans for this reason. Barcelona was on fire tonight, and WWE fans caused the blaze. Fantastic all round. Barcelona just raised the standards.

My Top 5 UFC TUF Fights.

Intro.

Over the years TUF has given us great moments, but most importantly, excellent fights. here are some of my favourites.

5 Roy Nelson vs Kimbo Slice Season 10.

Season 10 of the show was the first to feature an all heavyweight cast, and this fight was a stand out. Roy dominated the street fighter, but Kimbo showed what heart he had, and never gave in, and this is why he became so endearing in his career. Kimbo would pass away seven years after appearing on the show, from a collaped lung. RIP Big man.

4 Frank Lester vs James Wilks Season 9.

These guys went to war on two Occassions during the filming of the show, and both fights were barn burners, so both are on this list.

3 Rob Emerson vs Nate Diaz Season 5.

I love this fight, and even though the show was in its infantry stage, it still delivered in the bangers department, and this was one of them. Emerson may have lost, but he went out like a warrior.

2 Al Iaquinta vs Michael Chiesa Season 15.

Season 15 of TUF was the only true experiment in the shows history, because they turned up the notch, and went Live for the first time, and as the weeks unfolded the nature of these two lightweights came to shine. Michael Chiesa overcoming adversity to beat Al in the finale was a real triumph. Early in the season he was told that his dad had passed away, and this become the focus of this fight, because he was in my opinion being guided by something greater than himself, the love of family members who aren't here anymore. Al on the other hand is a Ray Longo, and Matt Serra graduate, and he proved it during the season. It goes to show, that the Serra Longo gym, produces some absolute warriors.

1 Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonnar Season 1.

I love this fight. The only thing that can say about this fight is this. Were would MMA be without this fight.

AEW Dynamite Review 13.3.2025

Intro.

With Revolution now in the rearview mirror, it's all about the spinning plate trick, when it comes to how AEW book there week to week tv product, heading into the next PPV in over a month. Since the turn of this year. I have been enjoying AEW's tv output. As the industry has seen dramatic changes, over the past few months. I feel the time is now, to make their stamp, and make it loud.

Kenny Omega Segment.

I love this man. The best bout machine is back. He's happy to be cleared, and he couldn't have done it without the support of the AEW doctors, and fans, he thanked Takeshista for pushing him, and Will Osperay for being his friend. He left us with a due, as the International Championship Elimination Tournament begins tonight. This left him, and me with an air of excitement, because he wants to face the best. This segment was excellent.

The Opps vs Local Enhancements.

The Opps, beat some Local Enhancements in a flat squash Match, that had me thinking, why was this on the card?

Swerve Strickland Segment.

This was a decent interwinding segment. Strickland explained his actions for the end of Revolution, and left us with the thought of him taking back what he won a year ago, making history in the process. Adam Copeland came into shot, and said that he's not done with Moxley. Jon  answered this back later on, and Jay White gave us his thoughts later on in the broadcast. I did like this, but I want this storyline to be done with, if i'm being honest. The Street Fight next week should be interesting.

Hologram And Powerhouse Hobbs vs Brian Cage And Dralistico.

I liked this. Hobbs got the win for his team. I had fun watching this at 7am in the morning. From Harley Cameron cosplaying as a version of a Power Ranger, and. Brian Cage powerlifting Hologram, and back chucking him like a wet towel. This. Was. A decent, fun, TV Match.

The Hurt Syndicate Segment.

The Hurt Syndicate were seen gloating after Sunday Night, and the only thing that ran through my mind was this. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE OUTRUNNERS. I think it's clear that The Hurt Syndicate never take a day off.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

I liked this. The Tramp is still the champ. Complete with Stitches, and. Staples, and glass in her arse, she's honoured to be the AEW womens Champion, she put over the locker room, and reminded everyone that she isn't a cat, she's Timeless Toni Storm, and just after that Megan Bayne attacked her.

International Championship Elimination Tournament The Beast Mortas vs Speedball Mike Bailey.

I'm so excited to see Speedball Mike Bailey in AEW. This Match was an excellent balance of styles. This was perfectly booked, and a great watch. Bailey got the win, and advances to the four way next week. Mike Bailey in AEW, now that just makes sense.

Christian Cage Segment

Christian Cage told Renee Paquette, that due to her being married to Jon Moxley, he didn't want to talk to her, it was at this point that he made up excuses, and cried like a big baby, to the point that Nick Wayne clapped back at his dad. This would cause tension within the family. to the point that father and son were nose to nose. Kip Sabian walked away as Nick wayne's mum, who's got it going on, just looked purplexed.

MJF Segment.

From backstage stage footage of him smashing a mirror last Sunday, to his promo that came next. This. Was the highlight of the night. This. Was narcasism at the highest degree. He said that he's smarter than all of Hangman Adam Page's fans, and that business with the cowboy is far from over. It was here when MVP walked out. This segment then got elevated to great levels. He spoke about their past, and how they have history together. MVP said that he was proud of Max, but then he said that he wasn't, because he's not showing any anger. No one feared him in the back, because he's lost his edge. It was here when MVP gave Max his card, only for Max to rebuff it, he then told his former mentor, that he doesn't need him, because he's MJF, he ran through his achievements, and MVP gave him his card again, as the segment ended. MJf would have an awesome encounter with Hangman Adam Page later on. I loved all of this.

Max Castor Open Challenge.

Max got battered after he ran his mouth too much to Konosuke Takeshista. That's what happens when you bring up Kenny Omega.

Chris Jericho Segment.

I hated all of this. It was embarressing. Chris Jericho does Shakespear. Oh boy.

Willow Nightingale vs Penelope Ford.

Willow Nightingale, beat. Penelope Ford, in what was a solid Match. Ford tried to attack Willow in the aftermath. Kris Statlander made the save, and was then cleaned out by Megan Bayne.

Mercedes Mone Segment.

Mercedes Mone vs Billy Starks at a later date, yes please AEW, book it Tony. I really want to see this Match.

Will Osperay Segment.

I think Will Osperay is the most likable man in Pro Wrestling. He sold the act of war perfectly, walking down to the ring with a limp. He spoke about the act of lying to his mrs, and breaking promises. He wants Gold, at All In, and will enter the Owen Hart Tournament to get his shot at All in, and he doesn't care who he faces to get there. This was excellent.

Orange Cassidy vs Hechicero International Championship Eliminator Tournament.

I don't know what to think of this, yes the Match was good, but I felt that something was missing from this. Cassidy got the win, and is now in the four way next week, with the winner facing Kenny Omega at Dynasty.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

I liked this broadcast, it went from marginely fine, to great. The in-ring work was good, but the promos stole the show. This weeks Dynamite is the very definition of setting up the spinning plate trick, and it's made me very excited for the company going forward.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a high 7/10.

My Top 5 Bloodiest AEW Matches.

 Intro.

Over the past few days since Revolution. I've been thinking to myself, after witnessing some glorious bloodshed. What are the bloodiest Matches that AEW have ever booked, and produced. This to me was an interesting question to me, so I decided to take a look back through the bloodshed.

5 Cody Rhodes vs Dustin Rhodes Double Or Nothing 2019.

If wrestling is centred around the essence of a perfect story, then this much loved, and celebrated encounter needs to be studied. The act of drawing blood made the story of family come fully into focus, then this is a must watch.

4. Marieh May vs Timeless Toni Storm AEW Womens Championship Match Revolution 2025.

Lights. Camera. Action. Bloodshed, this is my favourite Womens Matches this year, and I will be going back to watch this at a later date. Chest up. Tits out, and watch out for the blood. And the rest.

3. J.A.S vs The Blackpool Combat Club Anarchy In The Arena Double Or Nothing 2022.

When I was coming up with the idea for this list, this Match came to my mind, and it made me realise one thing. It's worthy of the 5 star rating that Dave Meltzer gave it. It was violent. It was nasty, and it was awesome, that Image of a bloody Eddie kingston with a gas can walking bown to the ring, is an incredible visual.

2. Cm Punk vs MJF Dog Chain Match Revolution 2022.

From the storytelling that led into this Match, to its overall execution, is something that I will never forget.

1. Steel Cage Match Hangman Adam Page vs Swerve strickland All Out 2024.

I think when we look back through the annals of time, this Match will surface as one of AEW's most bloody, and barbaric, but yet it's an essential watch, because the blood sold the violence, as the after effect of war could be felt for weeks to come.

My Top 5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw.

Intro.

I have to say it. I'm enjoying Monday Night Raw, at the moment. It's far more entertaining than it's Friday Night counterpart. Now don't get me wrong Friday Night Smackdown is part of my Saturday Morning ritual, but said show has been a slog of late, but on the other hand. I do get to eat sweats for breakfast when I watch it. Well it's the weekend.

5 Jey Uso vs Austin Theory.

Don't get me wrong. I love Jey Uso, but I hated this Match. It felt predictable, lazy and boring, and don't get me started with Gunthers beatdown in the aftermath.

4 I Hate Logan Paul.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I hate Logan Paul, but I love AJ Styles, and. Kevin Mcallister.

3. Tornado Tag Team Match.

What do you get when you add. The LWO. The New Day, together with Blueberry Muffins. A very tasty Tuesday morning. Breakast was awesome for me.

2. The Steel Cage Match.

All of this was flawless. From the inbuilt storytelling. The return of Roman Reigns, and the jaw dropping conclusion. Oh paul Heyman what have you done.

1. Freddie Roach In Attendence.

I know what you're all thinking, why have I put Freddie Roach at the top of this list? Well that's simple. Most of you guys will know, that I love my Combat Sports, and this guy is a legend who's coached some of the best athletes to ever enter an MMA octagon, and a boxing ring. Enough said.

My Top 5 Takeaways From UFC 313.

Intro.

This card was stacked, and as I sat down last night to start making this list by watching the show. I was stunned. The main card was excellent, and it just goes to show, that the balance has finally been made, because it was less than a decade ago, that I thought the sport wasn't speaking to a younger audience. Coming up with a card that speaks to the upstart teens who are looking at getting into MMA, is a vital thing, and the UFC on this weekend mastered this. So here's some of my top takeaways from the PPV.

5 Justin Gaethje Is The Man.

I'm a big fan of this guy. His fight against Rafael Fiziev got fight of the night bonus, and given the fact that Rafael took the fight on short notice. Gaethje kept things simple, and picked apart Rafael in what was a great fight.

4 Mauricio Ruffy's Heelkick Knockout Of King Green.

Mauricio Ruffy's Heelkick knockout of King Green was something to be seen, because it was only the seventh Heelkick knockout in UFC history, and it was a masterful use of power and technique.

3 Ignacio Bohamondes.

I was really impressed with this guy. His submission win over Jalin Turner by submission was awesome.

2 Magomed Ankaliev.

The Main event saw, wasn't just a shock, it was a statement win for Ankaliev, he defeated Alex Pereira by unanomous decision, in a result that I never saw coming. Some people have questioned where will MMA's next big star come from has now been brought into question, due to Pereira losing both the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight belts in the space of a year. I think that he will comeback, his time isn't done just yet.

Robbie Lawler Is going Into The UFC Hall Of Fame.

What can I say about Robbie Lawler that hasn't been said before, this man is the definition of passion. And his induction into the Hall Of Fame is long overdue.

AEW Revolution 2025 Review.

 Intro.

When I woke up this morning I took up the chance to check out X, and opinions on this PPV are possitive. I'm not someone who buys two much into what is said by other fans, but I do feel that fan opinions are valid, and there was one moment on this card that had me feeling nothing but rage. So lets get into it.

Hangman Adam Page vs MJF.

I liked this. The great physicality became a great background player, to the overacrching story of a Fin line between love and hate. The near falls were great, and they fell into place perfectly. Hangman got the win in what was a very entertaining opener.

Mercedes Mone vs Momo Wantanabe AEW TBS Championship.

I liked this. Their in-ring chemistry was awesome, and this moulded into the physicality with ease. The Match started out being wrestled to crickets, and both ladies worked hard to get the fans on side. Mercedes retained as Billy Starks watched on.

Swerve Strickland vs Ricochet AEW No1 Contenders Match For The Heavyweight Championship.

This. Was a great Match, with some solid storybeats. From Prince Nana looking lucious in that white gear. Swerve coming out to a drum soundtrack. Nana got shoved over by Swerve, as the story that was centred around robe stuff. Nana walked out leaving his mentor, only to come back later on, and play into the finish. The near falls were decent, and the final exchanges between both men were performed with ease, as the last exchange saw Swerve get the win.

Kazuchika Okada vs Brody King.

To me this was when the PPV shifted into second gear. I loved this Match. It was strangely captivating, and it held my attention throughout its durration. The in built story may not have been very evident, but the physicality, and overall gamesmanship between both men, was sensational. Okada retained, and this left me wanting more.

The Hurt Syndicate vs The Outrunners AEW World Tag Team Championships.

This pissed me off. The Hurt Syndicate, beat. The Outrunners for the AEW Tag Team Championships. Noooooooooooooooooooooo. Ok i'm sad now. IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE OUTRUNNERS. Patrick stop crying.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Marieh May AEW Womens Championship No Holds Barred.

I loved this. It was bloodstained plunder Match, that acted as a book end for this rivalry. This. Is so far my Womens Match of the year. From Luther getting taken out early on. May getting powerbombed off of the stage, and through a table. Both ladies busted each other open, and then proceeding to glass fist one another in the form of a Hardcore Match. The blood, and the violence acted like side characters in my favourite film, which helpled the story progress. Toni Storm then took a glass shot to the, how can I say this without my mum wanting to slap me. The gooch, the got glass in her gooch. Toni got the win, after she gave Marieh a Storm Zero through a Hollywood table that was positioned on the top of the rampway. In the terms of one of my favourite films a Clockwork Orange. This was gorgousness, and gougocity making flesh, and forming something that can only be described as liquid Gold.

AEW International Championship Match Kenny Omega vs Konosuke Takeshista.

I'm at the minute a bit flummexed, because I'm struggling. I can't figure out how to put perfection into words. From it's lofi pace, that encapulated the early goings, the gut shots that Kenny took, to the absolutely incredible exchanges that both men put each other through, to the stunning near falls that elevated the story of the Match, and were played out with subtlety and ease. Kenny is our new International Champion, and this was physical warfare laid bare in all of its glory. What is it with Kenny Omega having Match of the year contenders, and were only in March.

Will Osperay vs Kyle Fletcher Steel Cage Match.

This. Match took me back to being an 11 year old kid, watching Mankind vs The Undertakers Hell In A Cell Match from King Of The Ring 1998. Especially when you know some of the facts behind it. It's known that the late Terry Funk told Mick Foley, that the best way to start the Match off, would be if he climbed up to the top of the cell. This is exactly what Kyle Fletcher did. Both him and Will had a fantastic visual stare down from opposite sides from the top of the cage. The match delved head first into the darkside of both mens depravity, as they busted each other open, and created a violent, bloodsoaked majestic, story that unfolded over the durration of the Match. The storybeats, adding with Will at one point becoming Negan from The Walking Dead, and. Kyle acting like Glenn, made for a tense mindgame played by Fletcher as he begged for his life. Mark Davis interfered, and added weapons to the proceedings to aid that part of the Match. As the exchanges entered the latter stages of the Match, we were treated to the best parts of the story and the Match. Kyle tried to get out of the cage, but Will gave chase, and gave Kyle an Os cutter from the top of the cage, after both men had screwdriver fun. Kyle could be heard shout how much he hated Will, this gave us the end, when Will Hit Kyle with a hidden blade for the win. This was an extremely gratifying Match, that topped off a bad night for The Damn It Don Callis Family. Osperay just loves having Match of the year contenders doesn't he.

Jon Moxley vs Adam Copeland For The AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

This wasn't for me. It lacked any form of substance. Xcalibur on commentary said that there was a hush over the crowd, and let me tell it wasn't due to fear of Jon Moxley, it was because they were tired after seeing three Matches of the year conders back to back, which speaks volumes of how this Deathriders story has played out on TV. The interferences from Jay white, and Wheeler Yuta were comical, and Christian Cage's failed cash in attempt felt lazy, and last minute. Mox got the win after the Cage cash in, and inclusion drained me of my sanity. Thankfully Swerve Strickland took out Mox with stomp from off the top of an exit, as the show ent off the air.

Overview Of AEW Revolution 2025.

Bad main event, and disapointing Tag Team Championship Match result aside. This was an excellent PPV. Copmplete with awesome in-ring work, and Match of the year contenders. I get the critisism about the main event, but I don't think that this should overshadow everyones enjoyment. There is great stuff to be found on this show if you give it a chance, as this should be a warning to Tony Khan, if something isn't working out, don't book it as your main event.

AEW Revolution 2025 is a solid 9/10.

My Top 5 UFC Fighters Broke Down Boundaries.

        Intro.

People who push boundaries normally go on to change the way we look at industries, whether it's in Pro Wrestling. MMA, or in everyday life, we have it in ourselfs to change everything around us, so this gave me the idea. Which UFC Fighters changed their own paths, and broke down boundaries, well this is my top 5 list.

        5 Randy Couture.

This Man is one of my sporting Icons. He didn't take up MMA, until he was in his late 30's, and became a UFC Champion at the age of 39, and when he was in his 40's he became the promotions World Heavyweight Champion. Even though this came with it's own set of legal problems surrounding his contract, and his payments, he proved that age is nothing but a number.

       4. Matt Hamill.

This man was the first Def fighter to ever grace the octagon. He's an inspiration to the def community in my opinion, because you can do anything if you set your mind to something, and well Matt Hamill did just that.

3 Tito Ortiz.

From growing up with Drug addict parents, to witnessing his best friend get killed in a gang shooting. He's the definition of turning your life around. He would go on to become the UFC Middleweight Champion.

2 Michael Bisping.

The Count. The myth. The legend, and a man who helped put MMA in the UK on the map, to becoming the UFC Middleweight Champion, and the first ever British Champion. He wasn't just a industry changer, he was a game changer, and the perfect example of you can do anything when you put your mind to it.

1 Royce Gracie.

The reason this man is at the top of my list is because. Were would the sport be without him.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Review 8.3.2025

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

LA Knight. Shinsuke Nakamura. Braun Strowman. Solo Sikoa and his family, . Drew Mcintyre, who decked Damien Priest, were all seen showing up to the arena. ( more on Priest later )

Randy Orton Segment.

I liked this. Randy Orton took his time with this promo, he basked in the fans admiration. He started off by welcoming us to Friday Night Smackdown, He he levelled his history with Kevin Owens, and made Kevin look like a jealous little boy, because every friendship he's ever had, has turned sour. He talks about John Cena, and goes through their history. He put over the severity of the career threatening injury, that kept him on the shelf for over 18 months. Randy spoke with fire and grace, and forshadowed what might becoming later down the line. Welcome back mr Viper.

Chelsea Green Segment.

Chelsea Green, wasn't in a good mood with Nick Aldis, he put Piper Niven in a Match against Tiffany Stratton, so little Tiffy got no repocussions for what happened last week. She would go on to beat Piper in an decent TV Match, and was then taken out by Charlotte Flair, who came out looking like she was about to go to C2C.

March Madness.

Nick Aldis did his best trig version of Steiner Math, and left me outright confused. So i'm not going to explain March Madness here. Pretty Deadly beat Los Gaza, and. The Motorcity Machine guns in a flat TV Match. And are now the No1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Bianca Belair Segment.

This. Was. Excellent. I'm not going to go through everything here, because you need to see it for yourself. all of this was perfect. Enough said. What a well executed segment this was.

Lex Luger Is Going Into The WWE Hall Of Fame.

I love this. Lex Leger is going into the WWE Hall Of Fame. If you know Lex's story, his struggles and his triumphs, then it all makes sense. Sexy Lexy is going into the Hall Of Fame, you love to see it.

Braun Strowman vs Solo sikoa.

The Match was thrown out after Tama Tonga got involved, this led to Braun Strowman, and my man Jacob Fatu, to have an arena fight, that saw Jacob get chokeslammed through a table.

Chelsea Green vs Michin Street Fight. WWE Womens United States Championship.

I had fun watching this Match. From the weapon plunder. Michin snacking on Chelsea's fingers. B-Fab, having fun with a kendo stick, which led to Michin taking aim at Chelsea. Chelsea retained after Alba Fyre got involved.

Cody Rhodes Segment.

This. Was. Another Excellent Segment. Lies. Deceit, and. The Final Boss, and travis Scott was also their. He went through his history with John, asking the question why, because there's justification for what he did. He thanked the fans for choosing him, and told John if you want some, then come and get some.

Drew Mcintyre vs Jimmy Uso.

Drew Mcintyre, beat. Jimmy Uso, in a flat TV Match. Damien Priest, then put a beating on Drew in the aftermath.

LA Knight vs Shinsuke WWE United States Championship.

I didn't like this. The Match was boring, and in my opinion, it failed to get off the ground. Knight got the win, and is the new United States Championship.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown was a fun watch in my eyes, with excellent work on the mic and the in- ring work could be seen as decent.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a solid 7/10.
