Friday Night Smackdown Review 31.5.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Cody Rhodes, and. Bianca Belair were seen showing up to the venue, and Bianca was given the walk through treatment.

Bianca Belair Segment, And Naomi vs Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax MITB Qualifier.

I liked all this. Bianca came to the ring, and was pleased to be in her home of Knoxsville Tennesse, and she got the fans to help her sing her states own anthem, as this singalong came to an end, she welcomed us to Friday Night Smackdown. This was when Naomi came out, and the pair had a great Promo dual, that came with all of the aspects of what you would expect from a Promo dual. Betrayal, bruised friendships, oh and the little fact of breaking and encountering, and thretening a disabled person. This was fantastic. Jade Cargill came out, and was then followed by Nia Jax.  The MITB Qualifier they had was decent, with a solid balance and flow, complete with good nearfalls. Naomi got the win, and is now in the MITB Ladder Match. Tiffany Stratton later on said that she's ready for who wins The MITB Ladder. Naomi said that she's going to win, and Alexa Bliss told her Naomi isn 't the competitor that she should worry about.

R Truth Segment.

R Truth was backstage having a word with Little Jimmy, when step forward The Temu Bloodline, and Truth put his foot right in it, he bodyshamed JC Mateo. I hate this name change, I mean just call him Jeff Cobb. JC wrecked Truth later on in the show.

Chelsea Green Segment.

Chelsea Green, and her Secret Hervice were backstage complaining to Nick Aldis, Chelsea wanted a rematch against Zelina Vega, and demanded that she gets stripped of the Championship, because she broke her nose. Nick said that he wouldn't book this, but when she's medically cleared, he would reconsider it. But in the meantime one of her Secret Hervice could take up the fight. So she put Alba Fyre in the firing line. Alba would later on lose to Zelina thanks to Chelsea. I love the fact Chelsea has a sparkly face mask.

Tag Team Promotrain.

What Happens when four Tag Teams air out their grievances, well if i'm honest not a lot. The Street Profits. Fraxiom. The Motorcity Machine Gunns, and. DIY, were involved in a flat TV segment. I hated this. It was poorly scripted drivel, that annoyed me when I watched it.

Los Gaza vs Rey Fenix And Jevon Edwards.

I liked this. The Match had decent physicality, and solid in ring work. Los Gaza got the win, and Jevon Edwards looked really good.

Giulia Vingnette.

Giulia is now on Smackdown, and I think this is an excellent move. Her and Zelina does have potential.

Damien Priest Segment. And Mens MITB Qualifier Jacob Fatu vs Andrade vs Carmelo Hayes.

I liked this. From past reflections, and showcasing were he's come from, to moving on from Drew Mcintyre, and setting his sights on a new Championship, and Champion. Jacob Fatu. He and Jacob would have minor stare down when Priest left, and the MITB qualifer got started, and was the best thing on the card, by a long country mile. This acted like a good piece of business, the physicality was solid, and gave the show a new sense of energy. andrade got the win, thanks to Solo Sikoa. This pissed of Jacob, who was seen backstage chucking things around like a child who's been shouted at by his mum in a shopping centre.

LA Knight Segment.

LA Knight vs Alestair Black at a later point, oh go on then WWE if you must.

Cody Rhodes Segment.

I have mixed feelings about this segment. It felt a bit out of place. I love Cody's passion, and him playing off of John Cena has worked before, but last night this all felt a bit off. and adding in both mens tag partners to me is normally something that would happen on a go home show. This was all over the place.

Overview of Friday Night Smackdown.

Overall this was a good show, but I just felt it was missing something, and i'm starting to get tired of the three hour format of this show.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a mid 6/10.

My Top 5 Pro Wrestlers Who Defied Age

Intro

To quote a famous Canadian band, time keeps passing by, and wrestlers might regret not spending more time with the fans, but truth be told father time will come for all of us, but in the terms of wrestling retirements, wrestlers don't always know when to say when, so here's my top 5 list of wrestlers who defied age.

5. Chris Jericho.

The term of go away heat, can sometimes marry together perfectly, but in the case of Chris Jericho who's still working at the age of 55 is something that needs to studied. I'm not the biggest fan of Jericho's due to reasons that I can't talk about online, however I can understand why some people hold him in high regard, but quanitity isn't quality.

4 Ric Flair.

I don't know were to start with this guy. His retirement against Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 24 was perfect, with a fantastic build, with the stipulation that was given to him by He Who Shall Not Be Named, said if he loses another Match he would be gone from the company. He would lose to HBK in what was a highly emotional Match, and that was it he was done at the age of 58. HE WAS DONE AT 58. Yeah he came back two years later and workedfor TNA, at the age of 60, and all the hardwork that he done in lead up to that Mania Match, and that emotional speech he gave on the Monday Night Raw after Mania, were all put out to pasture like Flairs career. His retirement Match from 2022 was embarressment, and don't get me started on his AEW appearances, all of which took place when he was in his early seventies. Flair to me is persona non grata due to alligations that have surfaced about him in 2021.

3 The Undertaker.

I thought this was sad, because when all was said and done. This man was a legend, but in some fans eyes working well into your early 50's in this field is a daunting task, his matches were falling apart in the same way as his body. The days of the golden a performer are something that is cherished by fan Worldwide, but at the Stage of his career when he faced Roman Reigns at Mania 33, at the age of 51 it was a stark reminder of how time isn't a Pro Wrestlers friend.

2. Sting.

Shakespear once wrote. Some men are born into great things, some achieve great things, whilst others have greatness thrust upon them. The Icon Sting is the verbiage of all these words. He paved the way for many Professional Wrestlers to garner respect, because he laid out the pathway. He retired at the age of 64 tagging with his prodigal son Darby Allin, when they beat The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution 2024. All In 2024 seek and destroy, oh my god.

1 Terry Funk.

He'll keep on going forever, forever, forever, forever, forever, forever, forever. God bless you Funker.

My Top 5 UFC TUF Coaches That Legit Couldn't Stand Each Other.

Intro.

The person who said that Hate is a strong word, really hasn't watched the UFC's main flagship show. From coaches legit getting into fights, to memorable arguments becoming moments on the show that have either made me laugh, or made me think that these individuals are just big babies. So here's my list of my Top 5 UFC TUF Coaches that legit couldn't stand each other.

5. Quinton Rampage Jackson And Rashad Evans Season 10.

This season was the first season to have an all heavyweight cast, and they were coached by both Quinton Rampage Jackson, and Rashad Evans, and oh my god these two needed to have their own sitcom, in a messed up world, because I have never heard the words bitch, and, don't say nothing to me, said so many times. These two had many arguments, and a door was also made to be a casualty.

4. Tito Ortiz vs Ken Shamrock Season 3.

When I first watched this, all those years ago. I did wonder if these two were siblings, because when one said something, the other reacted. These guys acted like children.

3. Meisha Tate And Ronda Rousey Season 18.

This was another case of coaches acting like siblings, now throw that in with someone on Meisha's team having a history of saying some awful things, this all made for some tense moments.

2. Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz Season 11.

I don't need to explain how these two have a large stream of hate between them, that's as big as the nile, so putting them on a reality TV show in which they're coaching other fighters on opposite teams, was a genius idea. If you like arguments, and doors getting masacared.

1. Cody Garbrandt And TJ Dillashaw Season 25.

From fights, friction, and a hole load team related drama, yeah these two hated each other.

AEW Dynamite Review 29.5.2025.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

We're kicking off this weeks show with a stomper of a promo segment. All of this was excellent. Tony Schiavone brought Hangman out to the ring, and Hangman spoke with convincing, and fiery passion. He dropped his Owen belt because he's going for the big prize. He thanked Will osperay for giving him the fight of his life, as he went through what the AEW Championship means to him, and stated that he wants to free it from that awful briefcase. Hangman I think I speak for all wrestling fans when I say this. Were all routing for you. Swerve Strickland came out, and said that he wanted the truth from Hangman, after he rolled footage of The Young Bucks saying that they screwed Swerve, because they were helping Hangman. Swerve brought up the fact that Hangman has made promises that he hasn't kept. Will Osperay came out and went through his history with Strickland, and tried to play peacemaker saying that they've got to work together with Hangman in order to overthrow The Deathriders. This was fantastic stuff, as it allowed the theme of my enemy of my enemy is now friend to play out.

Marina Shafir. Gabe kidd, and Jon Moxley vs Willow Nightingale. Speedball Mike Bailey, and. Mark Briscoe.

This was awesome, especially as the Match entered it's final stages. The Matches within the Match were a fascinating study in Pro Wrestling storytelling. Jon Moxley got the win for his crew, after choking out Mark Briscoe.

MJF Segment.

I have to say I like MJF in The Hurt Syndicate. He looks at home here doesn't he.

Ricochet Segment.

AEW's Answer to Jeffrey Dalmer wants his own crew. So here's teaming up with Action Andretti and  Lio Rush then.

No Dq Tag Team Match Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne vs Anna Jay and Harley Cameron.

I liked this. From Megan Bayne no selling chair and weapon shots, she was later  put through a table. But the star of this Match was Harley Cameron, who continued the Match after her face was smashed into the ring steps, it looked she had broken her nose. Megan and Penelope got the win.

Mercedes Mone Shows UP.

Mercedes Mone was seen showing to the venue, in what looked like a nice ride, that looked like the definition of lying, cheating, and stealing.

God Bless The Opps.

God bless The Opps, for battering the Frat House, because these idiots know nothing about drinking. The Opps smashed them in less than 5 minutes.

Jamie Hayter Renee Paquette Interview.

Jamie couldn't get a word out, because the lights went out, and just like that she was attacked by one of the best free agents in Womens Pro Wrestling. Tekla. I liked this.

Adam Cole vs Kyle Fletcher TNT Championship And Brody king vs Josh alexander International Championship.

Because these Matches happened in quick succession, I'm marrying these two together. And they were a study in contrast. The 1st one Adam Cole vs Kyle Fletcher was thrown out when Josh Alexander got involved. This one was a bit flat here, and it didn't get up off the ground in my opinion, but what came next was Brody King vs Josh Alexander, and this one was much better. It was a physical clinic that became a bloodsoaked masterpiece aimed at a TV Audience. Brody got the win, and has now entered into the International Championship 4 way next week.

Mercedes Mone And Toni Storm Segment.

Both ladies had a fantastic Promo dual. I could sit here easily, and wax lyrical about this, but if i'm being honest you need to see it for yoursleves. Fantastic stuff from both Ladies.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

I liked this broadcast. It wasn't a case of all killer and no filler, because this stood out well as a follow up to a great PPV.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a high 8/10.

My Top 5 Worst Things That Wrestling Promoters Have Ever Done.

Intro.

As people who consume multiple aspects of media we're treated like children at times, when it comes to TV shows handling sensitive subjects, and In the wild world of Pro Wrestling this is no different. Some fans will argue that these were the times, but in my opinion, they should have never been conceived in the first place.

5 WCW Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest.

WCW have had moments of complete insensitivity, and this was by far it's worst. Ric Flair in a home for the mentally unfortunate. I just want to let this be known. I hated this when it aired, and I hate it now. Making fun of those with disibilities is just low, and is a mark against the person who booked it. I don't get why this made it to TV. Timing is not key. Eric Bischoff should never have booked this.

4. Bark.

There's a reason for why He Who Shall Not Be named is looked at as a genius on one hand, whilst on the other hand, he's hated with the passion of a thousand suns. On a december 2000 edition of Monday Night Raw, he sexually humiliated Trish Stratus in a segment that was so bad it was edited out of the final broadcast when it aired on Sky sports here in the UK. Segments like this have been called into question in recent years.

3. Ric Flair Is All Elite.

In recent years fans have asked promoters to read the room, and this was one of those moments. In 2021 alligations of sexual assault came to light about Ric Flair, after an episode of Darkside Of The Ring was centred around the plain ride from hell. I did some digging into Flair after this, and if you do your research their a loads of stories about him, that has left a lot of his peers feeling disgusted. In 2023 he was brought in by Tony Khan, to a part of Stings retirement in AEW, this was met with outrage with fans online, with most calling Tony Khan tone deaf.

2. The Drugs Don't work.

2007 was a bad year for Pro Wrestling, but no one could for see the events of the weekend of June 22nd to the 24th ever happening, on the surface what looked like a standard well fare check brought forward by WWE, turned into tragedy. Chris Benoit. His wife Nancy, and their son Daniel were all found dead. As the investigation went on, it was clear that what went down was far worse than what anyone could imagine. Daniel was let down by the person who he probably trusted the most. WWE chose to go ahead with a tribute to Chris on the Monday whilst the investigation went on, but it was during this time, that events of the weekend were made a bit more clearer. The WWE were taken to ask in the aftermath of this tragedy, as the theories of steroid abuse went around like a wild fire. This was when the wellfare policy system was tightened up, and those who had bent the rules were suspended. Benoit was never mentioned again on WWE TV.

1. The Show Must Go On.

In the overarching world of theatre, the phrase the show must go on has been overused to the point, has brought into the mainstream world. In 1999 this would be used to a devastating extract. At WWE Over The Edge in the may of that year Owen Hart was due to make his entrance from the top of the Arena whilst portraying his Blue blazer character, but as he was starting to get lowered, his harness snapped, and he fell to his death. Investigations were held, and lawsuits were filed, as He Who Shall Not Be Named continued his show, as Owens co workers, by Bret Harts words watched as his brother went by on a stretcher. No Wrestling show should ever come above human life. Divides were felt across the industry from the hart family that is still felt to this very day.

Monday Night Raw Review.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Jey Uso. Lyra Valkyria. Samy Zayn, and. Finn Balor and Jd Mcdonagh were all seen showing up to the arena.

Resovoir Seth.

I liked this, but the main issue I had with this segment is that it went on way too long. Paul Heyman spoke up and put his, and, Seths new faction over, by stating that the terminator is his favourite film, when talking about Bron Breakker. ( good choice ) And that Bronson Read is being a violent man in the current state of WWE's PG era. he went on to say that Seth Rollins is going to push the industry forward. Seth stepped forward to speak, but he was met a chorus of explicitives, and chants for the OTC, and. Cm Punk. The themes of domination, and, power, helped this segment become a carbon copy of something that he would say back in his Authority days. He blamed Samy Zayn, and. Punk for the fact that he doesn't have the World Heavyweight Championship, and says that he's going to qualify for the MITB Ladder Match, and win it, because he wants power, and the belt will give him that, because when you think about it. Having a WWE Championship is like owning every DragonBall. Plus I love how his crew were all dressed in black like they've just stepped of the set of Resovoir Dogs, and Seth was dressed like the man from Delmonte. Seriously, this segment lasted for over 20 minutes, Like I said earlier this segment was too long.

Mens MITB Qualifier.

Penta beat, Chad Gable, and. Dragon Lee in what was a very solid TV Match. Oh and Hello El Hiro Del Vikingo.

The Judgement Day Segment.

Roxanne, leave the Mullet Man alone, because all of the issues that this will bring, just isn't worth it. Uuuuummmm Chicken Nuggets. Liv would later go on to lose to Kairi Sane in a flat TV Match, thanks to Perez. Raquel tread carefully. Can someone please sort out those sound issues.

Rusev vs Tazawa.

RIP Tazawa, you came, you saw, and you were murdered by Rusev, oh and hello Sheamus.

Comedians.

This isn't going to sound very good, but these comedians weren't funny. Am I the only person who thinks that.

The New vs The War Raiders vs American Made WWE Tag Team Championship.

I liked this. The Match had a solid flow to it, and it made the run time fly by. Xavier Woods got the win by roll up.

Jey Uso Segment.

I love this man, but even I think that it's now time to stop this rivalry. Jeys energy is so infectious, and his dual with Gunther was good, but overall I just want this feud to end, and have both men move on.

Rhea Ripley Vingnette.

I loved this, it was quick, and straight to the point. I can't wait to see Rhea in the MITB Womens Ladder Match.

Lyra Valkyria Segment.

I liked this. Lyra's obsession with Becky, and. Becky's obsession with Lyra is actually quite fascinating when you dig beneath the surface. Their promo dual was good, as it dealt with their history, and reality. If Becky loses to Lyra, at Money In The Bank, then she will never contest for the womens IC Championship again whilst Lyra is champion.

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor vs Samy Zayn MITB Qualifier.

This was a decent main event. Yes it might have ended in complete shehanigans, but I had fun watching this. The physicality was solid, and the chemistry between all 3 men was a great sight to be seen. Seth got the win after Dirty Dom got that meme he just messed up. Oh and hello Cm Punk, and Jey Uso.

My Overview Of Monday Night Raw.

This was a fun broadcast, and i had a good time watching it. The Matches went from good to great, but the only issue i had was with the promos, yes they were decent. one was fresh, one was too long, and the other was good but tired. This could be a problem for WWE moving forward.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a solid 7/10.

AEW Double Or Nothing 2025 Review.

Mercedes Mone vs Jamie Hayter Owen Hart Cup Final.

This was a divine way to start off a PPV, as the opener normally sets the tone for the rest of the show, and this Match did that perfectly. It had several physicality peak points, and by the time the Match was done, they  had matched all of them, and it was great to see, because this allowed the final exchanges to have time to breathe. Mercedes got the win and will the winner of tonights Womens Championship at All In Texas. I can't put over how much I liked this opening Match.

FTR vs Daniel Garcia And Nigel Mcguinness.

I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of the build up for this Match, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. From FTR cosplaying as Bad versions of The Ghostbusters. Cash not leaving Tony Schiavone alone, to the solid Matches within the Match. FTR got the win, after Dax Harwood made Daniel Garcia do his best Stone Cold Steve Austin Impersonation when he passed out from a sharp shooter.

Mark Briscoe vs Ricochet Stretcher match.

This match was a complete over delivery in my opinion. But as the bloodsoaked carnage carried into the Matches final stages. I noticed one thing. This Match flew by, and it didn't drag in any way. Ricochet got the win, and I couldn't stop staring at that guy who was wearing an Oasis T shirt, and to that guy I say this. Oasis are terrible, and. Metallica rule.

The Hurt Syndicate vs The Sons Of Texas AEW World Tag Team Championship.

This Match was a lofi burner, that struggled to get up off the ground, but when it did. It turned out to be pretty entertaining, was it perfect, no, but I did manage to eventually enjoy it. The Hurt Syndicate got the win after Max tried to get them to embrace cheating, which became the story of the Match.

Kazuchika Okada vs Speedball Mike Bailey AEW Continental Championship

I loved this. The Match resembled a fantastic base of counteractions, and it made the time of this Match fly by. Their counteractions were unbeatable, and it helped the guessing game of this Match come to life. Okada got the win, and retained his belt.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Mina Shirakowa AEW Womens Championship.

This was a lot of fun. Even though the result was never in doubt. Mina put forward a great showing for herself, as this could act as an audition piece for the future. This won't hault Mina's momentum in fact it will act it will add to her reputation. Toni will face Mercedes at All In Texas. I loved this development.

Anarchy In The Arena The Opps. Swerve Strickland. Kenny Omega, and Willow Nightingale vs The Deathriders And The Young Bucks.

This was insanity times one hundred. From the entrances echoing from the cool, to miriad of elligence. I'm not a big fan of periodic films, but when The Young Bucks made their entrance. I started to think that this was a Stanley Kubrick movie, soundtracked by The Pointer Sisters, and. Drowning Pool. The songs Bodies and i'm so excited, were a perfect study in contrast, as they both became the backdrop to the bloodsoaked mayhem. Kenny led for this change in music, as the Match had several twists and turns. The beautiful chaos would be hard to cover beat by beat, so the only thing I can say is this. Both teams had table fun, chair fun, ambulance fun, thumbtack fun, and of course my personal, staples to the balls fun. Mark Briscoe came out and helped The Opps, as they trapped The Deathriders in an Ambulance, allowing Kenny and Swerve, to take care of the Young Bucks, complete with an exploding table from Kenny to Nick Jackson. And Swerve gave Matt a special version of his stomp, that had a bit of a tacky end for the win. I loved all of this. It was a beautiful, chaotic, masterpiece of a Match, that i will be going back to watch again, once i'm done here. I never do that, so what does tell you about this Match.

The Paragon vs The Don Callis Family.

Ok. I'm not going to be too harsh towards this Match, but this shouldn't have been placed on this card. It would've been better placed on an episode of Dynamite, but now the negatives are out of the way, we can focus on the positives. The physicality was good, and the Match managed to tell a solid story. Kyle Fletcher got the win for his team. This was good, but if you ask me about this in a years time, I won't remember it.

Will Osperay vs Hangman Adam Page Owen Hart Final.

AEW have a way when it comes to managing their main events, and this one was no different. The intro's were a study in contrast in the same art form, and it acted like a perfect insight for what was to come. After both men spent time feeling each other out, it was all go. As their counteractions went into the final stages of the Match, the story was allowed to deepen, and become something of it's own. Best vs The Best, and it was great to see. The final moments of the Match examplified my point, as the near falls fell into place, and led to one hell of a finish. From the Kenny Omega teases to Hangman overcoming his issues, and getting the win. This was superb, and it has paved way for how AEW is going to portray itself this Summer, and beyond. Hangman is on the road to redemption, whilst the chosen star is left realing. this is AEW's next big story, and I can't wait to see as they unfold, as the months roll on.

My Overview of AEW Double Or Nothing 2025.

This is how you raise the bar. This show has been called one of the best PPV's that AEW have put together, and I can see why. It was a lot of fun to watch, and was a great way to kick start their summer, as their excellent momentum continues.

AEW Double Or Nothing 2025 is a solid 9/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From WWE Saturday Nights Main Event.

Intro

Please bare this in mind that i'm writing this at 10pm in the evening, after working all day in my day job. So apologies for the lateness of this list. So here's my top 5 takeaways from WWE's latest Saturday Nights Main Event.

5. I Hate WWE On Youtube.

I love wrestling content on Youtube, but I hate live broadcasts. Their was no need to have so many commercial breaks, and don't even get me started on Youtubes advertising. This was way to much in my opinion.

4. Jessie Ventura.

I can understand why the WWE may not use this Jessie after this broadcast, but I do understand were Jessie is coming from on one thing. I hate Coffee as well, because i'm a hot chocolate guy.

3. Seth Rollins And Bron Breakker vs Samy Zayn And Cm Punk.

I liked this. The Match was given plenty of time to breathe, but I don't think their is a lot more in this rivalry, i'm already getting the feeling that WWE should move on from this. Seth and Bron got the win, thanks to a returning Bronson Reed, who joined forces with Seth's new crew.

2. R Truth vs John Cena.

I had a good old laugh when I watched this, because how can you not smile when watching R Truth. Cena beat him easily, and left me thinking. I wonder what Little Jimmy would make of this.

1. Jey Uso vs Logan Paul WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The Match itself wasn't anything special. It felt slow, and predictable, but it was the aftermath that has become the main talking point of the show. Cody Rhodes returned and helped Jey get the win as he went for John Cena, who had words with Jey after he battered R Truth, stating if he lost his Championship tonight, then he's losing to a Youtuber. Cody took to the mic in the aftermath and said that he's back and he's ready to fight, he then wasted no time by challenging both Logan, and John to a Tag Match with him and Jey at Money In The Bank. This is a solid development. Two nights later Jey will face Gunther on Monday Night Raw when he defends his Championship.

Top 5 UFC Fights That fans  Have Forgotten About.

Intro.

This was a difficult list to write, because there are so many fights that have left me feeling bored, and outright pissed off, so I have i'm going to use this time time to vent, so here's go nothing.

5. Michael Bisping vs Jason Mayhem Miller The Ulitmate Fighter Season 14 Finale.

This fight was a disapointment, even though Bisping got the win, it was Mayhem Miller that left me feeling like why have I wasted my time watching this. Mayhem came into the UFC as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter Season 14 against the brit, he showed promise as the show went on, but he couldn't back it up in the cage, and would end up being released from the Vegas outlet in June of 2012, a year after being brought in, this fight is the living embodiment of leave everything out there, and don't hold back, if only Mayhem could here these words.

4. Urijah Faber vs Renan Barao UFC 149.

This fight for the Interim Bantamweight Belt, was such a letdown you could hear fans chant boring, and as for watching at home in the early hours of the morning. I felt like Forget who wins because i'm off to bed. The fight was flat, as both men put forward a bad night at the office Renan would win the fight, and then go on to become Bantamweight Champion.

3. Anderson Silva vs Damien Maia UFC 112.

Boring. Boring. Boring, this whole fight pissed fans off. Picture the scene. The UFC was debuting in Abu Dhabi, and they aiming to go in on a high, and this fight as a main event fell well below the standard, because of Anderson silva's showboating, and all round gaslighting of the crowd, by not doing anything. Silva was given repeated warnings from the referee, and that just sums up this whole fight.

2. Cm Punk vs Mickey Gill.

As an all round fan of the Punker. This was a confusing mess, that left fans feeling angry, and confused.

1 Anderson Silva vs Thales Lettes UFC 97.

I've never heard Canadian fans at their angriest, until this moment. If I had paid money to see this fight card, I would've left the arena after this fight feeling like I want my money back. This was when Anderson started of his reign of showboating. Fans were left feeling angry, as the result got read out by Bruce Buffer. Joe Rogan tried his best to explain the techniacalities of this fight, but the fans in attendence were having none of it, as this has gone as one of the Spiders worst moments in the octagon.

My Top 5 WWE And Sesame Street Fights I would Love To See.

Intro.
Sunny days sleeping the clouds away i'm on my way to were the air is sweet, can you you tell me how to get, how to get to Fedame Street, how to get to Fedame Street. Now I know what you guys are thinking. Why Ami I singing the theme song to Sesame Street? Well it's very simple, due to Warner Bros Discovery and Max wanting to improve it's adult and family content in the States, earlier this year they decided to not renew its deal with the Sesame Street Workshop, this put the famous childrens TV show in jeopardy, as fans were fearful that the show audiences grew up watching could be put to rest. Enter stage left Netflix. The streaming giant, that is also the home of the WWE has agread to fund the show over a five year deal, expanding it's reach on a global level, which I think is fantastic, because the young, and young at heart can see the likes of Oscar The Grouch. Big Bird. The Count. Snuffy, and Elmo. I think this is a fantastic move, as a nerd. I love Elmo, and as a kid who grew up in the nineties here in the UK, Sesame Street was previlent in my life. My mum would turn on Channel 4 every lunchtime when I got home from Play group, because as I ate my sandwiches, this would be the only time of quiet she would get. When it's contract came to end in late 2000 with the british broadcaster, I was suprised that no one came in for it. This show was a staple in childrens TV on these shores, and it was a shame to see it go. The show would never find a broadcaster on these shores that would take a chance on it. That is until now. The Netflix deal will include the UK, and I think that this great, because a new generation of british children can now see the show. I do have one question? What would happen if the WWE had cross over fights with Sesame Street?
5. Big Bird vs Goldberg.
I can see it now, Big Bird getting sphered out of his big boots. Book it now HHH.
4. Male Blue Karen And Chelsea Green In a Segment.
This needs to happen. You know that blue man that annoyed Grover, just put him in a segment with Chelsea Green, because this just writes itself. I know this isn't a fight. I just think it would be comedy gold.
3. Damien Priest And The Count vs Finn Balor And Oscar The Grouch.
Just imagine this as a Tag Team Match. I do think up absolute nonsense don't I people. Trash cans would go flying.
2. Alexa Bliss vs Abi Cababi.
Heel Alexa Bliss vs a magic puppet. Am I the only person who thinks that this writes itself.
1 Elmo Teaming With Jey Uso.
Just imagine this Scenario. Jey does his entrance, and he's all of a sudden joined by a red fury monster. I want this to be put into existance. I love Elmo.

AEW Dynamite Review 22.5.2025.
Intro.
I have to start this off with a delayed apology. I was unable to do a full review for this weeks AEW Collision, this was due to me feeling burnt out, and needing to have some time for myself. I don't like having to make these decisions, as you guys know, but I do feel better having done this.
Hangman Adam Page And Will Osperay Segment.
This was the best thing on the show, by a long country mile. The passion that came from both men was the selling point here. Will played on Hangmans insecurities, and then led the charge in putting there Owen Hart Final Match into the main event of Double Or Nothing. This wasn't about the belt, this was about what was at stake. The heart of AEW. Will spoke about bringing the belt home, and defending it at Forbidden Door so he could give his son something to look at with pride. Hangman balanced this beautifully with honesty and passion, fire, and, grace as he reflected on how his family have looked at him. I loved all of this. The themes of honesty, and, true reflections were played out excellently. Tony Khan then made this the main event. I think this is a fantastic idea, but I do feel that this could run the risk of exhausting the fans, being given this place on the card.
Jon Moxley And The Young Bucks vs Swerve Strickland Samoa Joe And Powerhouse Hobbs.
I liked this. From Moxley getting the walk through treatment, to the Matches within the Match being a solid look as to what we will see this Sunday at the PPV. Joe and Swerve got the win  with a fantastic co pulled off roll up, and clutch submission. Joe then took to the mic, and said that he's not waiting for Sunday, because he's going to take out Mox and the Bucks on sight tonight. More on this later.
The Hurt Syndicate Contract Signing.
I liked this. From Max insulting his mum. MVP insulting the fans. Bobby stalling on signing, to Dustin and Sammy coming out, and putting Max in his place. Dustin said that he will see Bobby and Shelton on Sunday. Dustin Rhodes is an underrated Promo in my opinion, he's got an ability to be able to cut straight to the bone, and that was on full display here. Good stuff from The Natural.
Okada Segment.
Kazuchika Okada vs Speedball Mike Bailey at Double Or Nothing, oh AEW you naughty tease.
Anthony Bowens vs Ricochet.
Ricochet, beat. Anthony Bowens in a solid TV Match. Mark Briscoe then came out and had some stretcher fan. This was a lot of fun.
Ftr Segment.
Ftr will have a contract signing this week on Collision. Not another contract signing segment.
Mercedes Mone And Jamie Hayter segment.
The verbal counteractions between ladies, made this segment great viewing, and a real study in contrast going into the PPV this Sunday. I loved this.
Mina Shirakowa vs Julia Hart.
Even though I thought this was a solid Match, I was a bit purplexed as to why this took the main event slot, but given what came next, It all made sense. Mina got the win, and was then attacked by Hart, who had some help from Skye Blue. Toni Storm got in the ring, and put a beating on both ladies. which led her to have a face to face with Mina. All of this was decent. I love Toni Storm on commentary.
All Out Carnage.
The Young Bucks were leaving the arena, after having a word with Renee Paquette, when they were ambushed by Samoa Joe, and. Powerhouse Hobbs. They dragged Matt and Nick back into the arena, when the Deathriders got involved. Swerve, and willow made the save, as chains, chairs, and tables became the norm. Swerve and Kenny were both put through tables as the show went off the air. This was a fantastic way to take the show off the air, as it showed a great eb and flow between the heels and babyfaces. Which is what you need going into a PPV.
Overview Of AEW Dynamite.
This weeks Broadcast was a blast to watch, and a fantastic way to take us into the PPV.
This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

My Top 5 most Cringeworthy Things Wrestlers Have Ever Done.

Intro.

The years when it comes to Pro Wrestling haven't always been kind, especially when it comes to moments that we all want to forget. So here I am to bring these moments back to life.

5 Kurt Angle Sex Education.

Kurt Angle teaching The Godfather about sex education. This whole segment from Monday Night Raw in April of 2000 came across like a dodgy disney Channel educational programme.

4. He Who Shall Not Be Named Music Performance.

Why is this on my list, well just take at his dodgy drunk dad dancing, and you'll get to my point.

3 AJ Styles Claire Lynch.

TNA back in late 2012 was a thing wasn't it, and my god this was bad, it was like a poorly scripted version of The Jeremy Kyle Show, don't look this up.

2 Bad Bad Man John Cena's Rap Music Career.

Ok everyone stop laughing. No seriously stop laughing. Picture the scene everyone. The 80's has been kidnapped and it's up to one man, and two other people that i've never heard of to save the day whilst cosplaying as The A Team, chuck in a demonic Gary Coleman, and hey presto, you have one hell of a lot of cringe. Oh the things I have to watch in order to make content.

1 Katie Vick.

Ok guys please don't google this. I mean this is the reason why I can't have nice things.

My top 5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw
Intro.
I hate having to start pieces off with an apology, but here we are. Ok guys it's another top 5 takeaways list. You guys know that I don't pull these lists out unless I have to, and because of my schedule with my day job, doing a full review of Monday Night Raw was next to impossible. So I hope you enjoy my work.
5. Logan Paul Talks Nonsense.
Is it me, because whenever Logan Paul comes to my TV. I turn into Homer Simpson, and I don't listen to a word of what he says. Mow mow mow mow mow mow mow, mow mow mow mow mow mow mow. Thank god for gunther putting him straight, and Jey Uso smashing him in the face with a super kick. Hi there Coffeezilla how you doin.
4. Penta And AJ Styles vs Finn Balor And JD Mcdonagh.
This was easily the Match of the night, and a lot of fun to watch. Finn and JD got the win thanks to Chad Gable, I mean El Grande Americano. I had fun watching this.
3. Roxanne Perez Is The Future.
I think that Roxanne Perez is the future. She qualified for the Womens MITB Ladder Match, when she beat. Becky Lynch, and. Natalya, oh and hello Lyra Valkyria.
2. Zoey Starks Injury.
This looked nasty. She was taking part in a triple threat Match to advance to the Womens MITB Ladder Match, when her knee buckled after she tried to deliver a dropkick, she was ushered to the back area imidiately, and the match swiftly changed on the fly to be Rhea Ripley vs Iyo Sky. Rhea would get the win, in a Match that had the life sucked out of, due something that happened in a split second.
1. Malets Have Never Looked So Good.
Jey Uso's Match against Bron Bron Breakker was thrown out, when Seth Rollins got involved, he and Bron tried to beat Jey down, but he was saved by Samy Zayn, and. Cm Punk. This wasn't bad. Did it have me hooked, well no, but am I looking forward to Saturday Nights Main Event, well yes. Oh and Logan smacked Jey to send the show off the air.

My Top 5 Moments And Fighters in UFC History That Made Me Laugh.

Intro.
Laughter has been called, next to food, the key to the soul, whilst the scripted world of Pro Wrestling delves into the realm of being for everyone, MMA hasn't always had this luck, but when it does, man they can be hilarious, so here's just a look at some moments.
5. UFC 84 Press Conference.
I love Tito Ortiz for these reasons. His interactions with Dana White were simply funny as hell.
4. Connor Mcgregor Being Connor Mcgregor.
This guy may now be persona non grata at the moment due to legal reasons. I still find guy to hilarious, especially when he's in fight build mode. Him calling out Jose Ado and taking his belt at the London Press Conference still has me howling.
3 Michael Bisping.
This man makes it on this list just for being himself. His Yoel Romero impersonation, and his stints as a coach on The Ultimate fighter are always good for a crack.
2.Chael Sonnens Mouth.
Yeah. This says it all. His insults are legendary, and his Youtube is great for patter. I love this man.
1 Dana White.
No one is safe from this guys raff of hilarity. From Oscar Dela Hoya. his own fighters, and even members of the press, this man should be a stand up.

My Top 5 Takeaways From UFC Fight Night

Intro.
Drink this in Patrick, because is going to be one of the last UFC Apex cards, we've got one more after this, and it's stellar esc cards all the way. I have to say I like these Apex cards, I know there not for everyones tastes, but in terms of creating content, there essential for me, because these shows are the beating heart of the sport, as the upstarts are given the stage to shine, and Veterans prove that last fight, could be just that.
5. Julian Erosa vs Melquizael Costa.
This was a fantastic barn burner of an opening fight. Melquizael got the win by unanamous decision. What a fight.
4. Dustin Stolzfas vs Nursulton Ruziboev.
These shows, like I said earlier are the beating heart of the industry, and this fight is that very reason. This was yet another steller war. Ruziboev got the win by unamamous decision.
   3. Co Main Event Is Cancelled.
I didn't expect this when I sat down to watch this at the end of a long day at work. The fight was cancelled on medical grounds, at Rodolfo Bellato's end, his Match against Paul Craig is now being rescheduled.
2. Mairon Santos.
I really like this guy. His attitude in the aftermath of his win against Sadiq Yusuf, was nothing short of honest. I think that Michael Bisping was taken by this guy. I think he's got a bright future ahead of him.
1. Michael Morales.
Gilbert Burns got completely owned by Michael Morales, and oh my god this guy scares me. This guy is going to have gold in his future.

Friday Night Smackdown Review 17.5.2025.
Intro
I have to say it. WWE has entred it's after Mania slump. As a fan who's been watching the WWE product for over 30 years of his life, I don't always feel the slump especially when i'm writing about the shows on a weekly basis. I think this is because when you love what you love, it can be hard to seperate yourself from the dredge of the product. This stands with AEW as well. You're not going to like everything that a company puts forward, which is why I use the analogy of pick'n mix, because were all different.
Superstars Seen Showing Up.
Tiffany Stratton, and Nia Jax were seen showing up to the arena, ahead of their Main Event later on.
Solo Sikoa Segment.
I liked this. Solo has started to shift gears when you dig beneath the surface. He said that he rose from the ashes of Romans former empire, and in order to solidify that he needs to win the MITB briefcase, and if anyone wants to step to him, then they have to get through JC, and. Jacob Fatu. Jacob takes the mic, and says  he'll deal with everyone. Solo takes the mic, and want Jacob to show him some love, he said that he once loved him with passion, he said he loved him, and then LA Knight came out, and wrecked everyone. JC, they've made Jeff Cobb sound like a member of N Sync.
Chelsea Green vs Alexa Bliss vs Michin MITB Qualifier.
I liked this. The Match was centred the solid flow that all three ladies had. Alexa got the win, and she's now in the MITB Match.
Fraxiom vs DIY.
I liked this. It worked as a good piece of business, and a clear sign that WWE has a bright Tag Team division. Fraxiom got the win, and then had a backstage meeting with The Street profits, they will face them next week for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
R Truth Sitdown Segment With Wade Barrett.
This segment was excellent, as it builded the bridge perfectly, from the press conference after Backlash until now. Truth remained confident that the old John Cena is still inside John, as Wade barrett asked the question, why does Truth back up someone who put him through a table. Wade's selling throughout this, given his real life feelings about Cena was excellent, as the themes of reality and delusion were played out in full.
Damien Priest.
Damien Priest then challenged Drew Mcintyre to a Steel Cage Match at Saturday Nights Main Event, this was later accepted by Drew in a passionate promo. I liked both segments.
Alexa Bliss And Charlotte Segment.
Alexa Bliss was seen backstage meeting up with Charlotte Flair, and I think she gave her a warning of some kind. ( I think ).
Solo Sikoa vs Rey Fenix vs Jimmy Uso MITB Qualifier.
I Liked this. The Match was awesome. The in built storyline of Jimmy vs Solo, and rey fenix's speed made this a solid watch, but Reys speed became his undoing, as Solo gave him a spike for the win. And as by magic LA Knight came out and wrecked everyone ( again ). This was when Nick Aldis came out and said that he will face JC Mateo right now. JC would batter Knight in a fairly standard TV Match. So far I haven't been a fan of the TV presentation of Jeff Cobb. It feels like he's that new kid in school who's made to wear that new guy sticker.
Legado Delfantasma Segment.
Santos Escobar wants Angel to find Humberto, and bring him pack to the family. He's done guys, just leave it alone.

TIffany Stratton vs Nia Jax WWE Womens Championship

This fell flat, and it never recovered in my opinion. Naomi's consistant stalking played into the finish of the Match, but not even that could get this out of 1st gear. The near falls were woven in well as the Match went on, but this wasn't for me. Tiffany retained, if this were a school report it would read must do better.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

This show overall was a decent broadcast, but the flatness of the Main Event, and the length of the show has got me down. The in-ring action went from good to poor, and the promos followed the same pattern.
This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a solid 7/10.

My top 5 Most Heart Breaking Moments In UFC History.

Content Warning

This following article contains references to Drug addiction, and bereavement. Reader discretion is advised.

Intro.

As the world of MMA turns, the echoes of Injury and father time can easily come calling, as life goes on we must take pride in small victories, because these fighters are the living embodiment of that.

5 Anthony Smith.

This man was one of my favourite fighters to watch, and a couple of weeks ago when he left his gloves in the ring, you could sense that, their was a changing of the guard.

4 Anthony Rumble Johnson.

Rumble Johnson was a man that resembled a fighting heart, even though he had his struggles when it came to making weight, but if you knew his struggles from his childhood, that led to his grandparents raising him, then you get how this man lived, and why he took the route in life that he took. Rumble would pass away in 2023 from sepsis. Once a Lionheart always a Lionheart.

3. Jens Pulver Documentary

Recently I watched this mans driven Documentary, and it's a heart breaking reminder, of how an industry can chew up a fighter, and take away their dreams. This ia pivotal watch that needs to be seen, because it will have you in tears, whilst reminding you that life is too short.

2. Fighter Retirements.

This past weekend at UFC 315 we saw the end of the career of The King Of Rio Jose Aldo, this has a been a long time coming in my opinion, but he isn't the only fighter to have left everything in the cage. Chuck Liddell after his fight against Rich Franklin at UFC 115 comes to mind, because the feelings of all fans must go to the athletes and their all round health.

1. Stephanie Bonnar.

This is a hard one to write about. Stephan passed away from a drug overdose in late 2022 at the age of 45. The UFC did a solid presentation celebrating his life, as the MMA world watched on in morning. Stephan will never be forgotten.

AEW Dynamite Review 15.5.2025.

Will Osperay Ans Hangman Adam Page vs Konosuke Takeshita and Josh Alexander.

I liked this. The Matches within the Match were made to look like an excellent selling point, and the flying action moulded in perfectly with the can they co exist storyline. Hangman and Will got the win, after a fantastic final series of exchanges, that included them getting their wires crossed. That buckshot, and hidden blade combo looked awesome. This was a fantastic opener.

Top Flight Segment.

Top Flight said that they want MJF, and that their going to beat The Hurt Syndicate, this impressed Dustin Rhodes who said that him and Sammy will be watching.

Ricochet vs Zack Gowen.

Zack Gowen is a true inspiration, the way he handles himself is nothing short of class. He's the definition of the phrase you can anything if you put your mind to it. Zack wrestles effortlessly as an amputee, and this makes me smile. I grew up with massive learning issues, and i've had to work hard to over come a lot of my issues, so seeing someone like Zack work hard, makes me think I can do it. Ricochet may have got the win here, but overall this was a win for all of us who's struggled in life.

Top Flight vs The Hurt Syndicate, and everything else.

Top Flight lost to The Hurt Syndicate, in a suprisning competitive Match, and then came the malet. Dustin Rhodes, and. Sammy Guevara came out, and guess what? They want tag team gold, and then out came Crew, and guess what? They also want tag team gold, so MVP said that if you guys face each other on Collision, the winner will get a AEW tag team championship shot at Double Or Nothing. MVP then took on the role of a TV pressenter, and said that they'll give Max his answer after the break. When they returned from the break MVP called Max out, but he was playing a game of hide and seek. Shelton went to hunt him down, and he was found behind Tony Khan. Max came out to the ring, and he was given what he wanted, three thumbs up, so he's in, and he hurts people. Next week their will be a contract signing, and Max wants his lawyer Smart Mark Sterling ( oh boy) to look things over, this left MVP feeling a bit purplexed. I didn't like this. It all felt a bit convoluted, and way to long.

Timeless Toni Storm vs AZM vs Mina Shirakowa vs Skye Blue Womens Championship Title Eliminator.

I liked this. The energetic bursts from all four ladies sold the physicality, which gave way for the Match to have time to breathe. Mina got the win and will face Timeless Toni at Double Or Nothing. Also it's great to see Skye Blue back.

RIP Sabu.

Excalibur, and. Taz then paid tribute to Sabu, who sadly passed away this past Sunday. Taz was nearly in tears, as he said goodbye to his friend, this was well handled.

Nigel Mcguiness Segment.

Nigel Mcguiness then had an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone. He asked for Daniel Garcia to come out to the ring, and he apologised to Daniel for costing him his Match against Dax Harwood. Danny said that he doesn't care for his apology, because he was just standing for himself. Stokeley Hathaway then came out, and verbally laid into Nigel.  Saying that he wouldn't stand a chance against FTR, because he couldn't beat sepsis. The punishment for him should be a Match against FTR. Dax and Cash then beat down Both Nigel and Daniel, leaving Daddy Magic to make the save. I didn't like this. It just felt a bit all over the place. Collision on Dynamite sorry this wasn't for me.

Jon Moxley vs Samoa Joe Steel Cage

I liked this. From the blood stained carnage that became the epicentre of the story of the Match, the solid physicality. The Deathriders getting kept out of the cage, and decked by Powerhouse Hobbs, and. Willow Nightingale, both men having some great counteractions, to Gabe Kidd making his alliance in a Newcastle United hoodie ( bad choice mate I'm an Arsenal supporter ) to Mox and his crew, by handing Mox the briefcase so he could lay Joe out for the win. This was just the start of the chaos, as The Young Bucks came out. Willow and Hobbs were taken out. Kenny Omega came out, and was instantly attacked by his former friends as Gabe Kidd shouted did you think that I forgot as he laid his boot in Kenny's face. Swerve Strickland then came out, as the chaos came to an end, he took to the mic, and declared this years Anarchy In The Arena. Swerve Strickland. Kenny Omega. Powerhouse Hobbs. Samoa Joe, and. Willow Nightingale vs Jon Moxley. Marina Shafir. The Young Bucks, and. Gabe Kidd, this sounds awfully insane in a good way, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.

Overview of this weeks AEW Dynamite.

Even though some moments didn't match up to AEW Standards that they've rebuilt in recent months. I did enjoy this weeks Show, as the in ring work made for up for its down moments.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a high 7/10.

My Top 5 Worst UFC Injuries.

Intro.

No one likes looking at injuries, especially in MMA, as the octagon has played host to several nasty moments in UFC history. This isn't my attempt at making fun of these athletes, if anything i'm trying highlight just how easy it is to have things taken away from you, when it's no ones fault.

5 Chris Weidman UFC 261.

Chris Weidman is a very game competitor, and on this night when he faced Urijah Hall, he placed a leg kick, and when he stepped backwards, his leg gave out on him. This was a sickening sight.

4 Anderson Silva UFC 168.

Just eight years before Chris broke his leg. His opponent of the time Anderson Silva broke his leg, whilst trying to regain his Middleweight crown from the man who took it from him, just six months prior. You could easily say that this could be mirroring what was to come eight years later, but if were all being honest. I don't think that this is the case, the human body is a funny old thing, and anything can happen in a split second.

3. Deiveson Figueiredo.

This one looked ok on the surface, when you see him get helped out from the cage in the aftermath of his fight against Cory Sandhagen last weekend, his injury was seen to be far worse than what it seemed. Cory did the right thing by finishing the fight quickly, because this saves part of his opponents health. Fighters enter the cage to get their hands raised, and not to limit their opponents overall health.

2. Dan Evensen.

At UFC 92. Pat HD Barry, beat. Dan Eversen in what was a professional performance by TKO, however the leg kicks that he used to beat down his opponent left the Norwegian injured. I still look back on this and think, yes this was bad, but it could've been so much worse.

1. Connor Mcgregor vs Dustin Poirer UFC 264.

This entry isn't because of Connors star power, or then fighting attitude, it's because I have never seen a leg break like this. This is the nature of the fight game, and these things do happen, but it's a mark on a career that has been polvarized by the world, for good and bad reasons.

This Monday Night Raw review is dedicated to the memory of Sabu.

Monday Night Raw Review 13.5.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Finn Balor. AJ Styles. Iyo Sky. Giulia and Roxnne Perez were all seen showing up to the arena.

Cm Punk Segment.

I liked this. Punk was given the walk through treatment, and on arrival he looked pissed, he opened up his promo by being angry with himself, for putting his trust in his former friend Paul Heyman, he spoke about their history, as he calls Seth Rollins a temu Punk. Paul Heyman then came to the top of the stage, with his new crew. Seth laid bare what he thought of Punk, as the theme of gaslighting, betrayal, and belief, became the centre fold of this story. Seth was angry after last week, and told Bron Breakker to go and give him a matyrs death. Bron beat down punk, who was then saved by Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso. This would turn out to be a decent episode long storythread.

Penta vs Chad Gable.

I didn't like this, now don't get me wrong the Match was solid, it's just bringing out Pat Mcafe after Saturday night acted like a distraction. Chad looked visibly pissed at one point, and I don't blame. Penta got the win with a sick looking Mexican destroyer, and just like that Chads rampage of hate against Luchadors continues.

The Judgement Day Segment.

I only took a couple of things away from this segment. Carlito is a shovanist, and Dom is a non racist version of Hulk Hogan, because he doesn't understand timezones, whilst his paranoia grew even further.

The War Raiders vs American Made.

This was a flat TV Match, that never got up off the ground. American Made got the win, and The New Day on commentary made no difference. Apart from the finish.

Jey Uso Segment.

I didn't like this segment. I love Jeys energy, to me it gravitates through my TV screen, he gave his thoughts on facing Logan Paul, and then I was pulled back into a predictable midcard Vortex because out came Gunther. He told Jey that the winner of Jey vs Logan at Saturday Nights Main Event, will face him on the Raw after Money In The Bank. Jey was later on decked by Bron Breakker. I hate this type of booking, this tease of taking the belt from Jey so soon after he won he's won it, doesn't sit with me, because it feels like his IC Championship defeat to Bron all over again.

RIP Sabu.

We then got a fantastic tribute to Sabu, who passed away at the of 60, this past Sunday. RIP Sabu you will be missed.

Finn Balor vs AJ Styles.

This on paper looked good, but what we got was a reminder of a rainy day, because this was flat. AJ got the win after the same old distractions. This left me feeling bored.

Becky Lynch Segment.

I liked this. Denial, denial, denial, was the echo chamber that surrounded this her promo, she basked in her own glory, whilst being layered in defeat. She told fans in the style of the cat in the hat, that everything fans think that she is, she will be. This was a decent promo.

Rusev Vingnette.

Rusev tried to explain why he loved destroying Otis, this left Tazawa feeling upset. Oh and Sheamus popped up.

Roxanne Perez and Giulia vs Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.

This was a decent Match, with a predictable outcome. Rhea and Iyo got the win by pinning both ladies. I've seen online people calling out this Match, but i've got a different opinion. Rhea and Iyo are now acting as veterans, and are being looked at as this way. WWE has done this type of booking for over 25 years. I do think that this is a good way to in bed new talent, but I do understand the frustrations.

Overview Of Monday Night Raw.

This weeks Monday Night Raw was a real mix-bag, personally I didn't like it, but hey each to their own.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a mid 5/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From UFC 315.

     Intro.

As the year has garnered on, the worlds biggest fight Promotion continues to roll on, by hosting it's first PPV in Montreal since 2013. With various reasons for why the company hasn't come back, and on return the UFC brought with it a stacked card, that in my opinion is one of the best in recent memory. So strap yourself in because were in for one great show.

5. Benoit Saint Denis.

Benoit Saint Denis, owned Kyle Preplopec in dominant fashion, and made him look ameteur. This was a performance of the night candidate, he looked awesome here, and it's great to see him move up in Lightweight Division.

4 Natalya Silva.

Natalya Silva, put forward her best performance since joining the Vegas outlet, when she beat Alexa Grasso, to move up in the womens Flyweight Division. The former champion Grasso didn't look good as Silva got the win by unanamous decision.

3. Vitor Belfort.

The UFC announced that Vitor Belfort will be going into their hall of fame. I don't like this. I have my feelings about Vitor, and his use of TRT that I feel has hampered his legacy. Yes he's done loads for the sport, but his open use of performance enhancing drugs doesn't sit with me.

2 Valentina Shevchenko.

What can I say about this women, other than she's fearce, she got the win against Manon Fiorot, to retain her title, in what was a fight of the night contender.

1 Belal Muhammed Is Far from Boring.

This man is a class act even in defeat, he lost his championship to Jack Della Maddelena in what was a fight of the year contender. Jack was a gentlemen in victory, as both men put on a show for the fans. Check this fight out when you can.

Sunday, 11 May 2025

        RIP Sabu.

This edition of Extreme wrestling reviews is dedicated to the memory of hardcore legend, who sadly passed away earlier today. RIP Sabu.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Pat Mcafe. Gunther. Lyra Valkyria. Becky Lynch, and. Randy Orton were all seen showing up to the venue.

LA Knight vs Jacob Fatu vs Drew Mcintyre vs Damien Priest WWE United States Championship Fatal 4 Way.

This was a fantastic opener, that was centred around non standardised energy bursts. Yes this was a fatal 4 way Match, but this felt fresh, and original, and was the definition of the title Backlash. The Drew vs Jacob tease, the superb counteraction sequences, the well timed near falls, and the intertwining storylines, complete with some awesome table spots, and of cause Jeff Cobb debuting, and wrescking  everyone, which built into the finish, as jacob retained, and wondered what the hell is Solo doing.

Becky Lynch vs Lyra Valkyria WWE Womens Intercontinental Championship.

This was by far my Match of the night. All through this in my mind I kept thinking that this Match was soundtracked by the song Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphys, because of these ladies showed why the term the fighting Irish is even a phrase. The Match was given time breathe, as it was layered with excellent counteractions, near falls, and fantastic submission attempts, this remimded me of Bret Hart in 1992, and how he was able to manipulate body parts, and make into something special. Lyra Valkyria retained. I loved this.

Dominic Mysterio vs Penta WWE Mens Intercontinental Champion.

I didn't like this. It felt like a TV Match being played out on a PLE, complete with all the usual TV trappings. Dom retained, this did nothing for me.

Pat Mcafe vs Gunther.

On paper this didn't look good, no matter how good the build was, but if i'm honest I had fun watching this. It won't win any Match of the year awards, but this just proved my point. Pat Mcafe showed what f s means, fighting spirit, because he never gave up until the end. Gunther got the win, after Choking out the commentator. Michael Cole was fantastic here, as he had to put his bias to one side, and be there for his friend. I liked this.

John Cena vs Randy Orton WWE Undisputed Championship.

If history has taught me anything, it's that you should never play your hand more than once, WWE has done this many times when it has come to this rivalry. I was excited to see how this played out under a new creative direction, as the last remaining reminants of the old guard had left the building, however this took me back to those days, because I found this to be boring, and predictable. I can understnd why some people liked this, but overall it wasn't for me. This had the usual aspects of what I expected, from tables spots, and a nice cameo from R Truth, but the night belonged to Mr Cena as retained the belt, and scorned the fans as the show went off the air.

Overview of WWE Backlash.

I had fun staying up late like a good boy, to watch this, even though it wasn't a perfect show, it worked to fill the void until next years Mania.

WWE Backlash 2025 is a high 7/10

My Top 5 Funniest LA Knight Promos.

 Intro.

In the words of the theme from The Sopranos I woke up this morning, and in my own variation I needed a laugh, So this got me thinking about the Megastar LA Knight ( for some reason ) and I remembered a load of times that he's made me laugh. So sit back, and prepare to piss yourself with pure laughter. Yes I am including his time as Eli Drake from the NWA and TNA Impact.

5. Your Girlfriend.

This one is a bit more recent, but it's a goog one. Him. Humberto, and Elektra Lopez, I'm not your Daddy, because the only person who can call me Daddy is your girlfriend YEAH.

4. Stooge.

Calling The Miz a Stooge, agh yes I'm not afraid to call a stooge, a stooge, you stooge YEAH.

3. 50 Yards With In A School.

My god this one cuts beneath the bone, but it's so funny. He told Grayson Waller that it loks like he's ready to have his school picture taken, but it looks like he's not allowed within 50 yards of a school. I loved this.

2. Dummy.

Impact Wrestling back in 2016 didn't give us many talking points, that was until this happened, and if you don't find the Youtube dummy compilation funny, then you're simply a dummy, enough said you dummy YEAH

1. Shoes Of A Champion.

Christmas time on NWA Power. New year, new goals, now what does that sound like Goals more like gold. Yeah. Don't ever change mr Knight.

AEW Collision Review 9.5.2025.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

Timeless Toni Storm doing a promo, from the box seats. I loved this, from sex talk, to calling out everyone in Womens division to come at her and fight for her belt, because she's timeless. Yes people I have a naughty mind.

Paragon Segment.

The Grizzled Young Veterans want to batter the Paragon, and you know it. I'm here for it.

Ricochet vs Angelico.

This was a fun Match, that reminded of something from UK Independent scene. Ricochet got the win, and bullied Zack Gowen, who was sat in the crowd with his kids, by taking his leg off and walking away with it. Ok I guess.

8 Man Tag Match The Don Callis Family vs The Outrunners AR Fox and Bandido.

This was a fun Match, that was well engineered to garner hype, and was moulded together perfectly, and was a lot of fun. The Don Callis Family got the win.

Jon Moxley Video Promo.

Jon Moxley centred his own focus on Samoa Joe, in an excellent video promo. I liked this.

Anthony Bowens vs Lee Johnson.

Anthony Bowens, beat. Lee Johnson in what was a fun TV Match, and then had a nice time scissoring his dad Billy Gunn.

Gates Of Agony Segment

I like The Gates Of Agony, and I like Big Bill, and Bryan Keith, but which one's better, there's only one way to find out. Fiiiiiiiiiigggggght. Man this was awesome.

Kris Statlander vs Willow Nightingale.

This fell flat, and was a complete let down given the history both ladies have together. Marina Shafir got involved, and helped Statlander get the win. One other thing, is it me or is Wheeler Yuta starting to annoy me.

Skye Blue Vingnette.

Skye Blue is back next week. I like this, because Skye has had a rough time of it of late.

Konosuke Takeshita and Josh Alexander vs Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno.

I have a question for you guys. Who are The Dark Order in 2025? I mean really. Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno got wrecked here pretty quickly. I can't help but think that this was a complete waste of time.

Speedball Mike Bailey vs Dralistico 2.

Even though this fell into the void of being a TV Match, it was a good blend of styles that saw Bailey come away with the win.

Daniel Garcia vs Dax Harwood.

I liked this. From Daniel Garcia becoming his own version of the running man. Dax Harwood insulting the fans, and the fans giving it back to him, both men fighting it out in the fans, and Dax taking out his frustrations on Nigel Mcguinness, this led to the commentator snapping and heading to the ring, and attacking Dax causing the finish, and giving Garcia the win.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

This made for an interesting Friday morning. The show wasn't bad, it just felt strange watching it on a Friday, and not a Sunday evening. The action went from average to good, as the show just felt like filler.

This weeks AEW Collision is a mid 7/10
