My Top 5 Thoughts On Monday Night 30.9.2025.

Intro.

Sometimes in this life, things suck. Monday Night Raw isn't one of them, i'm like this due to the fact that i've got a cold, so instead of doing a full review i'm going to a top 5 thoughts piece instead. So here goes nothing.

5. Rhea Ripley Segment.

This was corny, a bit predictable, but enjoyable. Rhea came out and called out Asuka. Instead what she got was a conflicted Iyo Sky. Iyo was torn, because Kairi, and Asuka are here family. Both ladies turned up on the big screen, as the lights went down in the arena. This was the perfect story beat to shatter Iyo's hopes. Asuka and Kairi then attacked Rhea. This was a episode long story thread, that came to the conclusion that Rhea and Iyo,  will be facing Asuka and Kairi in Perth.

4. Dirty Dominic Mysterio vs Rusev WWE Mens Intercontinental Championship.

I didn't like this. It all felt a bit flat, and it never recovered. The Matches trappings heavily relied on shenanigans, and it was tiring. Dom retained.

3. Bayley vs Raquel Rodriguez.

This Match was centred around it's surroundings of Raleigh North Carolina. Both ladies looked like they were having a great time. In the last Match I felt that it fell into the realm of shenanigans, but this actually made sense, and it played into the story of Bayleys decent into insanity. Raquel got the the win, thanks to Roxanne Perez.

2. Seth Rollins Segment.

From ancoring himself as a leader of the industry, to comparing Roman, and Cm Punk to a life threatening disease. ( which was a bit too far. ) This wasn't the first time that Seth has compared someone to Cancer, because he did this to Dave Meltzer back in 2020, and he did this whilst looking like a renta version of Rufus, and. Morphius, from Bill And Teds Excellent Adventures, and. The Matrix. Cody Rhodes then came out, and the pair had a fantastic promo dual. The fans were on Cody's side, as he basked in their glory. This was a 180 from Cody normally does. This segment dealt with the under current theme of a power struggle. I loved this segment.

1. The Brons vs The Usos Tornado Tag Team Match.

I liked this. From Jeys isolation. Jimmy getting put through an announcers table, and then there's the return of my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. Even though I do think that this too soon to bring Roman back. This could be leading to a reuniting of some sorts.

Classic PPV Series Post 3 UFC 132.

Intro.

For this one we're heading back to the Summer of 2011 and the forth of July weekend, as the weekend of independence dawned on the United States, the UFC gave us one hell of a PPV card. And for one I loved it. So lets get into it.

5. UFC Countdown To 132.

These build up shows from this time were the gift that kept on giving. Urijah Faber, and. Dominic Cruz rivalry. Tito Ortiz looking jacked, ahead of his fight against Ryan Bader, and. Chris Leben talking about his respect for his opponent Wanderlai Silva, these two have quite the counteracting careers. ( more on these two later )

4. Where Is Carlos Condit.

On this show Carlos showed just how scary he was as a fighter, when he beat Don Yun Kim, with a Superman Punch, this was a well timed piece of action that brought an end to the fight. Nowadays Carlos has left fighting behind him, and is now a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai coach, and has multiple hands in other businesses, that includes a coffee shop, and a jeans venture.

3. Were Are Dennis Siver And Matt Wiman.

On this night this pair had a minor barn burner of a fight, that saw Siver get the decision win, but what's more interesting is were are they now. Dennis resides in his city of Mannheim in Germany, a retired fighter, were he runs a Mixed Martial Arts Gym. Whilst Matt has also retired and now works in the hospice industry as an adjunct professor. these men have proved that there is a life after the cage.

2. Chris Leben And Wanderlai Silva.

These two have a counteracting Career, when you look at how they ended their time in the worlds largest fight organisation. Chris would leave the UFC in 2014, after his poor outing against Urijah Hall at UFC 168, he would face suspensions due to failed drug tests before this time. Wanderlai would leave the UFC under a controversial cloud of smoke, when he refused drug testing in 2014, but his relationship with the UFC would end in 2016, as fight fixing allegations came to light. This would be compunded by his disilution for fighting. Leben knocked him out on this night.

1. Faber vs Cruz.

I have a strange love for this fight. It managed to leave me enthralled, whilst also leaving feeling angry. I was more of a Urijah Faber fan, because I felt that he was more relatable, whilst Dominic reminded me of that little sibling that just owned everything. Cruz would get the better of Faber again in the Summer of 2016.

My Thoughts On UFC Fight Night Perth.

Intro.

Ok guys I'm starting this off with another apology. I was due to release this on Sunday evening, but due to the fact that I was feeling unwell I have had to hold this back and watch and review this on Monday Morning. I'm feeling ok now, so lets get into it.

5. Tom Nolan Remember The Name.

I wasn't impressed with Tom's stand up, but the way he took Charlie Campbell to the ground and submitted him, showed that his ground game is where his dinner lyes. What a solid performance.

4. Neil Magny Is Still The Man.

Ok. Look. I get why fans got pissed off with this fight, due to the referee decision, at the end of the first round, and the confusion that came along side it. However the fight did make me think, that even though i'm not the biggest fan of Magny. I do feel that he has a lot to offer the Welterweight Division. He got the win by submission.

3. Jack Jenkins.

I have to say that I wasn't a fan of this fight. In my opinion this was a stagnant affair, and it never picked up. Jenkins got the win by decision. His post fight interview with Paul Felder was an emotional reminder that hard work pays off, and that if set your goals, you can achieve anything.

2. Jimmy Crute Strooth.

I have no other words to describe this other than strooth. Jimmy Crute beat Ivan Erslan with a slick looking Rear Naked Choke in the first round. I thought this was the performance of the night, and i'm excited to see were Crute goes next in the promotion.

1. Carlos Ulberg Crikey.

Carlos Ulberg, beat. Dominick Reyes by knockout. This was another great performance, and another stand out moment, on a night that was packed with them, for Kiwi, and Australian fighters.

 Frtiday Night Smackdown Review.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Tiffany Stratton. Jade Cargill. Nia Jax, and. Sami Zayn were seen showing up to work, ahead of their Matches on this show.

Paul Heyman Segment.

I didn't like this. It felt strange, his segment dealt with counteracting Cody Rhodes, whilst delving into the idea of the conspiracies that surround Brock Lesnar, the fans were on their feet throughout, as they chanted OTC, but Heyman brought them back down to earth when he reminded them of what Bronson Reed did to Roman at Clash In Paris. Cody Rhodes then came out, and he delved into his thoughts on Lesnar, whilst talking about who the real Paul Heyman is. His he an Oracle? Is he a wiseman, or is he an advocate. This was when the Brons faced against Cody, and he gave them a warning that they can't trust Paul. A fight broke out to end the segment. This was all off. I get that this is a good way to start a new promising storyline, but when its outline is centred around a man who's been mentioned in a Sex trafficking Lawsuit 44 times, it makes me feel uneasy.

The Street Profits vs Melo Don't Miz.

I didn't like this. It was predictable, stale, and boring. The Profits got the win. I'm starting to think that Melo Don't Miz aren't one for this world, and you know what? Good, because Melo is so much better than this.

Jade Cargill Segment.

Jade Cargill, met Stephanie Vaquer and told her what was going to happen tonight. Tiffany Stratton, and Nia Jax would do the same thing throughout the show.

Giulia And Kiana James vs Michin And Bfab.

I hated this. It was yet another boring, and predictable Match, that fell flat of all expectations. Giulia and Kiana James got the win.

NXT Hopefuls.

Given the fact that Smackdown was coming live from Orlando, it was no suprise that WWE would cherry pick some NXT talent for the broadcast. I haven't been a big NXT for quite sometime, but I do check in every now and again. Zaria And Sol Ruca, was a interesting choice to face Charlotte Flair, and. Alexa Bliss in a promo segment.

Drew Mcintyre Segment.

Drew walked out in a moon boot, and instantly sounded like a fan of a Premier League Football, because he blamed everyone but himself, he said that everyone is protecting Cody, including the medical staff. Nick Aldis called him out. This led to Jacob Fatu coming out, and telling Drew to stop bitching, and complaining. Drew then gave him a head butt sandwich, and Jacob gave Drew a superkick to end this segment. I liked this. It's no secret that Drew Mcintyre has been one of my favourite things about WWE this year, and his character development is one of the things that I come back to.

Sami Zayn vs ?.

As the broadcast went on. In my mind I started playing a guessing game. Who was going to Sami Zayn opponent, and as it turned out it was Jevon Edwards. If you check one thing out from this broadcast, make sure its this Match, because this was excellent. Sami retained.

Damien Priest Gets Wrecked By Alestair Black.

I don't know about you guys, but this just isn't doing it for me. Just have the Match already. Ok, bored now.

Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax WWE Womens Championship.

This was mainly a forgettable affair, and this was down to how the Match was booked. The physicality was decent, but you could call each move coming from a mile away, and this made my viewing experience a bit of a drag. Tiffany retained, and will face Stephanie Vaquer in Perth in two weeks time. This has a lot of promise.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown was highly underwhelming, and forgettable. Some people would say that's the time of year, but when you dig beneath the surface, this has been a thing since the back end of 2024, and if i'm being honest it's just not good enough.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a low 4/10.

My Top 5 Worst Moments From WWE's Raw Guest Host Era.

Intro.

As a form of research. I put myself through a load of trudge to make you guys had some solid content. Who remembers the Monday Night Raw guest host period. Because I don't want to. This period was a stalemate for the WWE. To be a fan at this point in their history, felt like going to the dentist, and asking them to pull out your teeth the hard way, because their creative was aimed at 8 year olds, and they were failing to make new stars. So lets shove some Celebs down your throats.

5. Bob Barker.

This happened on the on the 7th of September 2009, and some people say that this game segment was gold, but to me it was a waste of time. Over here in the UK, we've never heard of this man, because his shows never aired in my country. And if this segment was anything to go by, then we didn't miss out on anything.

4. David Hasselhoff.

This happened two weeks after Wrestlemania 26, and it was confusing. Us Brits loved Baywatch back in the 1990's to the point that it became one of the biggest international imports, that used to make saturday Nights ITV schedule actually worth watching. So this made WWE think. I know lets be completely tone def, and book The Hoff. All of this was cringe. Hornswopggle as a Lifeguard anyone.

3. Snooki.

Lets go back to 2011. Jersey Shore was a massive hit on MTV, raking in more than 6 million viewers in the states, and was in the networks top 5 shows in other international territories. This happened during the build to Wrestlemania 27, and oh my this was bad. This was 2011, and reality TV was in a boom period, so it did make sense, but when you look back on this time. It's things like this that alienated the traditional fans.

2. Jeremy Piven.

Given what has happened over the past few years. This is bad, and also very weird. Jeremy took to Monday Night Raw in the Summer of 2009, ahead of SummerMayhem. I mean Slam. The man who gave life to the character of Ari Gold, who's based on the real life Ari Emmanuel, the man who managed Mark Walberg, and then went to manage endeavour, and turn it into a global force. This happened 14 years before the TKO merger, which could be seen as for telling the future.

1. Donald Trump.

What do you get when you put too awful human beings in the same ring together, well if you're answer is Vince Mcmahon and Donald Trump, having a promo battle on the 22nd of June 2009 edition of Monday Night Raw, then give yourself a Gold Star, because you'd be right. I'm going to go and have a lye down, because, well, yeah this part of the list wasn't a good thing for me.

AEW Dynamite Review. 25.9.2025

Hangman Adam Page Message.

Hangman Adam Page sent a message of hope to Kyle Fletcher, thanking him for their Match last Saturday, whilst wishing Lee Moriarty all the best in their Match later on in the evening.

GOA vs Brodido AEW Tag Team Championships.

I liked this. The Matches within the Match, and the physicality showed a lot of promise, and they didn't let me down, because both teams chemistry brought out the story of the Match. Brodido retained after a great final series of near falls, and exchanges.

I Love Mark Briscoe.

Ok guys i'm just going to say it. I love this man. I feel tired. I wonder who his mystery partner will be later on?

I love Harley Cameron.

On the subject of people I love. Harley cameron she nearly made Kris Statlander corpse. You love to see it.

Hangman Adam Page vs Lee Moriarty AEW World Heavyweight Championship Open Challenge.

I loved this. I think that is a great way to build up Hangmans title reign, whilst bringing up underutilised talent. Moriarty showed that he was a game competitor, and a good foil to Hangmans offence. Hangman retained with a buckshot, and deadeye combo.

Cope And Cage Segment And FTR Segment.

In footage filmed after last Saturdays PPV. Adam Copeland was seen telling Christian that he was going away, and he's not sure when he's going to be back. This is all in keyfabe, because I think that Adam has filming commitments. This led into the next segment perfectly as FTR came out, and tried to explain their reasons for what they did to Beth Copeland last Saturday. All three men took on the role of Alex Delarge, and did a complete flip reverse, putting the blame on the Copelands. This allowed willow Nightingale to come out, and defend Beth, and give her the flowers that she deserves, calling her an inspiration, she then gave that glorious man Stokeley Hathaway a palm sandwich, after he insulted her. ( all Seriousness to one side ) You know how Stokeley says that he can't get any ladies, well I heard on the down low, that he tried to aquire some services if you know what i'm saying, and they robbed him blind. So yeah, my guy still can't any ladies. I loved both of these segments.

MJF Segment .

These mini MJF segments are gold, so if you watch anything from this broadcast, make this segment your destination. This was excellent.

The Damn It Don Callis Family vs Mark Briscoe Hologram, and a Mystery opponent.

The opening to this Match was perfectly timed silly fun, because if you didn't laugh at a returning Orange cassidy, in the guise of Don Callis's wrecked painting, then I don't know what to tell you, other than you have no soul. The Match followed the pattern that I thought it would. And Okada vs Cassidy, yes please AEW. The conglomeration got the win, in what was a fun TV Match. Kyle Fletcher vs Hologram next week, yes please AEW with a cherry on top.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Powerhouse Hobbs.

Normally I love the aspect of two big men slapping some serious meat, but to me this failed to deliver, and it was a real shame. The Match felt slow, and as a result, it failed to get off the ground, relying on the aspect of a dodgy finish thanks to Pac. Claudio got the win.

Tony Khan Special Announcement.

This was an awkward letdown. Were getting new Womens Tag Belts in AEW. This is a terrible idea. AEW's Womens division hasn't had the best of luck when it has come to it's overall TV booking, so giving them Tag Belts that look like eyesores isn't going to help, because I don't have the faith that they will get this right. Am I the only person who felt sorry for Renee Paqutte, because man those belts looked bad.

Kris Statlander vs Mina Shirakawa AEW Womens Championship.

This was excellent, and a fantastic way to send the show off the air. The physicality was on par with their chemistry, as it leaned into the storytelling of the Match, that became well paced over time. Stat retained her belt, and then was targeted by The Deathriders. Wheeler Yuta who has been flirting with Statlander, trying to recruit her, was turned up with a lariot. She flipped off Mox, and escaped through the crowd, with Harley Cameron. Darby Allin came out with a flame thrower, taunted The Deathriders, and challenged Mox to an I Quit Match at WrestleDream. Because Darby is a firestarter, twisted firestarter.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

I can understand why some people may not like this edition of Dynamite, but even with it's poor elements. I had fun watching this broadcast.

This Weeks AEW Dynamite is a high 7/10.

My Top 5 UFC Fighters Who Could Be Comedians.

Intro.

Laughter is the perfect remedy for life. We all need it, and The UFC has had it's fair share of fighters, who've made me laugh over the years. I've been told loads over the years that I could easily mask as a comedian, and i'm going to be honest. I don't know what their talking about. So lets get into it.

5. Michael Bisping.

Some people would say that he's just cocky, but I think this guy buys too much into the fight season. His runs as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter, were a balance of mindgames, and outright humour. His insults towards Mayhem Miller still make me laugh.

4. Brendan Schaub.

The funny thing about Brtendan Schaub, is that their is nothing funny about Brendan Schaub. His run at trying to be a renta version of Joe Rogan, isn't acually that bad, it's just not for me.

3. Connor Mcgreggor.

Even though in recent times Connor has been accused of some unspeakable things, that I can't condone, that has left a mark on his character, but before all of this, he had managed to carve out a following for himself, by making press conferences an all round media circus, filled with jokes, insults, laughter, and plenty of Lucky Twelve

2. Dominic Cruz.

I can see this happening. I mean it won't be very good, it would be the dryest set you've ever seen.

1. Chael Sonnen.

This man is a mouth merchant, and I love him for it. From masterminding his own vendetta against Anderson Silva, and the country of Brazil, which led to an entire PPV having to moved stateside due to safety concerns, and egging on Wanderlai Silva to the point that his coaching staff were shown the door when they were filming Ultimate Fighter Brazil. If you put this man on a stage, he would an American version of Jimmy Carr. And it would be great.

Monday Night Raw Review 23.9.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up To Work.

The Vision. The New Day. Stephanie Vaquer, and. LA Knight, were seen turning up to work.

Cody Rhodes Segment.

I liked this. Cody couldn't get a word out, before Seth Rollins, and his gang came out. This promo dual hit all of the spots that it needed, from life changing moments. Seth's ideology that have led him to make some bad choices, as his crew is the future of this industry. This is leading to a best of the best Match at Crown Jewel in Perth, and given these two's history, this has a high ceiling. Yes I quoted the best Martial arts film trilogy ever made.

Uso Brothers Are Divided.

The Uso's are divided as Jeys route to heel city continues, and i'm all for it. This was a episode long storythread.

The New Day And Grayson Waller vs The War Raiders And Penta.

This was fun. I have to admit that I haven't been the biggest fan of The New Day since their heel turn. I just feel that it hasn't been very fluid, but this Match was a lot of fun. Kofi took an awesome table spot, and Grayson ate himself a Mexican destroyer, from Penta to give his team the win. That Mexican destroyer was a thing of art.

Dirty Dom Is Just Plain Rude.

Dirty Dominik Mysterio is ignoring his Judgement Day family, and it's going over like a bag of cold sick. This is going to end well. ( i'm being sarcastic )

Bayley Gets Lyra Valkyria In her Corner.

Bayley asked Lyra Valkyria to be in her corner, when she faced Roxanne Perez. Fast forward to the Match. Bayley beat Roxanne, and then turned on Lyra. I'm still praying that we get the Bayley Buddies at some point, during this run of Bayley. Because this is what i want, and their ain't no stopping me now, because if they come out I will celebrate on the floor. The Match was decent.

Stephanie Vaquer Segment.

This was the definition of that Linkin Park, and. Busta Rhymes song Together we made it, she thanked the fans, and her biggest fan, her dad. This was an excellent moment. She will face the winner of the three way this Friday On Smackdown, at Crown Jewel.

Jd Mcdonagh vs Rusev.

Jd Mcdonagh got murdered by Rusev, and that weasel Dirty Dom just stood their. Finn Balor made the save. This was a waste of time.

Iyo Sky Segment.

Iyo Sky, just wants Asuka and Kairi Sane, to be Ok. This is going to end badly I can see it now.

Jey Uso vs LA Knight ( Yeah ).

Jey Uso, beat. LA Knight in a decent TV Match, thanks to the interference of The Brons. LA Knight did nothing, leaving Big Jim Uso to make the save.

El Grande Americano Vingnette.

El Grande Americano has a new crew. Now I wonder who they could be? where's Ludwig Kaiser. He's been missing for ages.

Asuka vs Rhea Ripley.

I liked this. As a standard Raw Main Event this was decent. The physicality was decent, and it was refreshing seeing how this unfolded under HHH's guise of TV booking. Rhea got the win by roll up, and then it happened. Iyo Sky Came out to stop a beat down, but Asuka and Kairi turned on her, and it was great. Heel Asuka. I loved this, and it shows solid promises for the future.

Overview Of Monday Night Raw.

I didn't hate this weeks Monday Night Raw. I actually had fun watching this at 8am before I went to my day job. The in-ring work was good, and the promos felt emotionally affirming.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a high 7/10.

Monday, 22 September 2025

Classic PPV Series Post 2. UFC 136 Edgar vs Maynard. October 1 2011.

Intro.

For the second edition of this 10 part series we're going all the way back to October 2011. Man Utd were on the verge of getting slapped 6 1 by Man City. Chris Brown had sealed a new hit with UK Grime Music stand out Chipmunk, and The UFC had just pressented one of it's best PPV's from that year. UFC 136 Edgar vs Maynard.

5. UFC Countdown To 136.

This I believe was broadcast on the now TNT Sports brand owned ESPN over here in the UK, and it was a massive study in contrast. Frankie Edgar who was the Lightweight Champion at the time, sat in a bar and rewatched the fight surrounded by his friends and family, whilst Grey Maynard watched alone on a computer in his kitchen like a man possesed. This was something that both men agreed to, and it would be trick that the UFC would use again over the years.

4. Melvin Guillards Downfall.

From 2005 appearing on the second season of The Ultimate. Melvin was a stand out in the Lightweight Division, however it always felt like he was always a bridesmaid never a bride, and his fight against Joe Lauzon on this night was proof. He would after this go on to have a mixed relationship with The fight promotion, from weight issues, legal issues, and a disapointing fight against Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night London, which led to Dana White releasing one month later. He would then sign for WSOF, but this only lasted less than a year before he was granted his release.

3. Leonard Garcia And Nam Phan Had One Of The Fights Of 2011.

This is one of candidates for one of the most underrated fights ever. Just give this a watch. Because, oh my this was awesome.

2. Kenny Florian Was Outclassed By A Future Legend.

To watch a Jose Aldo fight, is like studying a book of high gratitude. The Man is a myth, and an overall contrast in the human form, Kenny Florian in the US had gained fans appreciation by fighting three weight classes, but he was no Match for Jose.

1. Chael Sonnen.

Chael showed on this night why he's the American Gangster, when he called out Anderson Silva, after he beat Brian Stann. Don't ever change Chael.

My Top 5 Insights From WWE Wrestlepalooza.

Intro.

As the ESPN deal starts to take effect. This PLE didn't feel any differant than normal. The build was fairly standard, as the overarching theme of affordability needs to be looked at, whilst setting the standard, and not sending the wrong messages has to be taken more seriously.

5. Stephanie Vaquer And Iyo Sky Stole The Show.

This was a well moulded together piece of magic. Both ladies put on a steller outing, that I will be going back to watch at a later date. The sight of Stephanie celebrating with her dad was special. We have a new WWE Womens Champion, and I can't wait to see how she gets booked. Don't mess this up HHH. This was by far, the Match of the night.

4. Stephanie Mcmahon Is Going Into The Hall Of Fame.

I don't care about this. The Undertaker was woefully unfunny, and am I the only person who thinks that their trying to bring back a certain disgusting human being? This is disturbing when you dig beneath the surface.

3. The Brons vs The Usos.

I didn't like this. This was a nonstop misfire of errors. Get well soon Jey, because that cut looked nasty. It has been reported that he's now in WWE's concussion protocol. LA Knight as a referee made no sense. This was a complete waste of time.

2. Cm Punk And AJ Lee vs Seth Rollins And Becky Lynch.

I liked this. The Matches within the Match, were a fascinating insight into were this Match is going to go in its aftermath. I feel that Seth and Punk is going to end inside a Hell In A Cell Match at a later date, whilst i'm fantasy booking AJ taking the intercontinental Championship from Becky. These rivalries still have plenty of legs.

1. John Cena Gets Buried By Brock Lesnar.

John Cena was beaten easily by Brock Lesnar, in a Match that resembled a one sided beatdown. I felt uneasy throughout all of this because of what we know. Brock was mentioned 44 times in the Janelle Grant Lawsuit, against Vince Mcmahon, and WWE, and having Brock go over sends the wrong message to younger fans. I couldn't get behind this at all. Corporate sexual misconduct good, standing your ground bad.

 AEW All Out Review.

Cope And Cage vs FTR.

I have to admit that I didn't get the comedy that came before this, and I'm not a Hockey fan, so those references were lost on me. I liked this. The opener was a lofi burner, that acted as a fun way to start the show.  The Matches within the Match, were a treat to view, as this gave the Match time to breathe. Adam calling back to one of his favourite memories, and paying tribute to one of his best rivals from his career, acted like a slice nostalgia cake. Stokeley Hathaway looked a bit annoyed. I think it was due to the fact that none of those lovely Canadian ladies won't give him their time, and that's a shame because as we all know he's a glourious man. Beth Copeland came out and carried him away. The near falls were moulded together perfectly, as thne final exchanges took centre stage. FTR threw everything against the wall, to try and beat Cope and Cage, but this wasn't good enough, because as the final exchange took place. Cope hit Cash with a sphere to get the win. What would follow was a reminder from A Clockwork Orange. Nick and Momma wayne came out with Kip Sabian. and recreated the home invasion scene. Cope was handcuffed to the ropes, as FTR delivered a piledriver to Beth. as Adam watched powerless.

Eddie Kingston vs Big Bill.

Eddie Kingston, beat. Big Bill. I'm not to bothered about the physicality on this occassion, because i'm glad to see the man back. We love you Eddie.

MJF vs Mark Briscoe Tables And Tacks.

I loved this. Max's selling in the early stages of the Match mixed in well with both men wearing white, because this added in with the visceral bloodsoaked violence, made this a joy to watch. Mark got the win. Apologies for the shortness. I had a minor power cut during this Match. Yes this was nasty, but it was a vital piece of horror playing out to the masses from what I saw.

Ricochet And GOA vs The Hurt Syndicate.

I'm going to be honest. I couldn't connect with this Match. Ricochet and his crew got the win.

Mercedes Mone vs Riho AEW TBS Championship.

This was another Match that I couldn't connect with. It felt clunky, and like a bit of a misfire. Mercedes retained her belt.

Mascada Dorada vs Konosuke Takeshista vs Kazuchika Okada AEW Unified Championship.

This brought my energy right back up. This Match acted like a leap pad for what I think will come at WrestleDream in just under a month. Konosuke vs Okada. This felt like a CMLL, and. NJPW fever dream in all of the best ways. The Exchanges were slick, and the near falls were timed to perfection. The 3 way strike fest come to full conclusion, as Okada retained his championship. I loved this.

Coffin Match Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin.

From the outset. This was bloodsoaked craziness, that was highly entertaining. Both men fighting in the fans, this led to stairway stuff that was a throwback to when Darby was thrown down the stairs. The Match was a visceral violent affair, that blended into the storyline of the Match. The lts of the bag lore played a factor into how the Match ended. Darby tried to suffocate Jon, that was until Pac returned. He took out Darby, and put him in the coffin, allowing Jon to get the win. Later on Darby tried to commit murder, when he took on the role of Keith Flint when he set fire to Jon. Darby is a firestarter, a twisted firestarter. I liked this.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Thekla vs Kris Statlander vs Jamie Hayter. AEW Womens Championship.

I'm not the biggest fan of 4 way  Matches, but this one functioned well. The energetic bursts, blended in with the physicality like a glove. But it was the outcome that got me. Kris Statlander is our new Womens Champion, and all I have to say is this. Congrats Kris, you deserve it. I liked this.

Hechicero And Josh Alexander vs Brodido vs Jetspeed vs The Young Bucks Ladder Match For The AEW Tag Team Championships.

I loved this. It was a glorious plethora of plunder, that didn't let up from the moment it started. It made me feel enthralled, scared, and sick in the best way possible. I could sit here and go through this beat by beat, but if I did that we would be here all night, so all I will say is this. Go and check this Match out. Brodido retained. And then it happened. Jack Perry showed up, and attacked his former friends. From the tease on BTE, to the overall success of what happened. A video was played of Perry ressurecting Luchasaurus. Their reunited and it felt so goooooooood, oh and hello Baltimora. Jungle Express are back baby.

AEW World Heavyweight Championship Hangman Adam Page vs Kyle Fletcher.

As I sit here at 2.05am on a Sunday Morning. I'm listening to Tony khans media scrum. And it's so great to see Hangman give credit to Kyle Fletcher, because what came before this was incredible. This lasted for about 40 minutes. It's lofi build helped turn this Match into one of the best of this year. Kyle put on a star making performance, and. Hangman showed his grace, by putting him over through the near falls, and overall execution. Fantastic work from both men. Hangman retained in what was an outstanding effort.

Overview Of AEW All Out.

This may have had the build of a B list PPV, but it was a B list PPV that over delivered. From Match of the year contenders, to very little filler. This is how you put your best foot forward.

AEW All Out 2025 is a high 9/10.

Classic PPV Thoughts Series. Post 1 UFC 92. December 27th 2008.

Intro.

I'm going to be trying something new. This is something that I feel very passionate about, because some events, whether their in MMA, or Pro Wrestling have a littany of cool moments, and insights that might have escaped the standard fans attention, so over the next ten posts in this series. I will be doing my best to dig beneath the surface of these events. And were starting off with a good one UFC 92.

5. Behind The Scenes.

I used to love these mini documentaries that would come in the DVD special features, because sometimes you got glimpses into the future. Case and Point. Rashad Evans, and. Greg Jackson. At one point these two were in seprable, however just a couple of years after this was filmed, the pair would part ways. This was due to Greg Jackson and Mike winklejon pushing Jon Jones into their main thoughts, leaving Rashad out in the cold. Even though this isn't news. I do feel that it echoes what this business can be like. Harsh, and unrelenting, just like a revolving door.

4. Pat Barry Had A Nasty Leg Kick.

As a fan of this sport. I have seen some nasty leg kicks, and this has to be one of the most sickening. Mr HD put away Dan Eversen easily on this night

3. Where Is Mike Wessel Now.

A true degree of what a fighter is like, can be shown in defeat. Mike lost his fight to Anthony Hardonk on this night by TKO, but I think that can be forgiven due to the fact that he took the fight on a weeks notice. This loss lead him to take a spot on The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Heavyweights. He was the last pick on Team Rashad, and was beaten by Marcus Jones by armbar in what was a fairly one sided fight. He wasn't picked for the UFC after 2011, and then went to fight for Bellator. And he would go on to have a mismatch of a run in that promotion. This would end in 2016, and he would retire after that at the age of 39. In 2018 he got into a bit of trouble when he was accused of road rage in his hometown of Jonesbro Arkansas. However no charges were pressed due to the evidence not matching up.

2. Quinton Rampage Jackson.

This was the best time that i had seen Rampage Jackson, and what puts him on this list is how he beat Wanderlai Silva. Clean Knockout. After this Quinton would try to get back the Light Heavyweight Championship, but if i'm being honest. His fights were a bit dull, and a lifetime away from his prime from 2003 through to 2009. He would change camps, and get a new manager. This woud see him relocate to Liverpool in the UK, and Train out of the Wolfslair, and he would use the same Manager as Michael The Count Bisping. Anthony Mccann.

1. The Start Of Frank Mirs Uneven Time During 2008 to 2012.

Frank had the world on his back, when you take a look back at 2008, he was on the comeback trail, he beat. Brock Lesnar at UFC 81, and just like that he was back. He beat Minatauro Noguiera at UFC 92 to become the UFC Interim Heavyweight Championship, and after this he would have an interesting time going for the belt on two occassions, the first was against Brock Lesnar, and the second was against Junior Dos Santos. His runs to these shots essentially led to nothing, and i feel that it started here.

Top 5 MMA And Pro Wrestling Moments That Are Dark Given What We Now know.

Warning.

The following article contains references to Sexual Assault. Domestic Violence, and. Child Murder. Reader discretion is advised.

Intro.

A wiseman once said. You Know the world can be an evil place. And these men examplify that phrase.

5. The Ultimate Fighter Season 7.

In truth, this is one of my favourite seasons of The UFC's flagship Reality TV show, and it had some great fights, but it's the inclusion of Matt Riddle that makes me feel a bit unsettled. After his appearance on the show, he would go on to have a fairly decent run in the company, until he was let go for multiple drug test fails, and making a lifelong enemy of it's president Dana White, but it's his move into Pro Wrestling when things started to look up for Riddle. He gained respect on the indy scene, and even signed with the WWE developmental brand NXT. In July of 2020 Riddle was accused of serious sexual assault, as Pro Wrestlings version of the #Metoo movement had started to take shape. This would be something that would go to court, and settled out of court. He was let go by WWE in September of 2023, after he made allegations about an airline steward assaulting him. And given his recent controversy about no showing a charity indy event here in the UK. I think it's easy to say that he's not learnt his lesson.

4. Jason Mayhem Miller On The Ariel Helwani Podcast.

Given what we now know about this man. This segment is beyond awkward, and worrying. He flipped out having a go at the host. In the past years Miller has been accused of Domestic Violence.

3. The Ultimate Fighter Season 6 John Koppenhaver.

John Koppenhaver back in 2007, when season six of The Ultimate Fighter was being filmed, Jon Koppenhaver had a promising future, he may not have won the show, but he did manage to gain a UFC contract, but that came to an end in 2008, when he went out of his way and critisised the Las Vegas outlet, over the coming years, he would face Legal issues of the worst kind. In 2015 he was sentenced to a whole life sentence for Kidnapp. Domestic Violence, and. Sexual Assault. I did some digging into this case, and it's one of the worst that i've ever read. I do believe that men can be the product of there enviroments that they grew up in, and given what I know about how he grew up, and the comments that he's made about Evan Tanners death. I feel that he's a toxic human being, with  very little in human abilities.

2. P Diddy At Wrestlemania 29.

Why is this on this list. Eleven years after this Diddy would be accused of multiple accounts of Sexual Assault, and. Domestic Violence. This has aged badly.

1. ECW One Night Only And The Monday Night Raw Aftermath.

These days have gone on to become some the darkest days in WWE history. The 24th, and. 25th of June 2007 would have sinister overlooks to it. Concern grew when Chris Benoit didn't turn up to the PPV in Texas, and a welfare call was made by the WWE, what came next was horrorfying. Chris had murdered his wife, and child by stranglasition, and then took his own life. An investigation was launched, and as Monday Night Raw went live just 24 hours later. The unfolding of the case became more evident. WWE aired a tribute show for Chris, without knowing the whole story. The investigation had shifted from suicide to murder. This makes this footage harder to watch nowadays Given what we now know.

If  you or someone you know has been affected by the issues raised in this article, and you live in the UK you can call The National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247, and if you're worried about the safety of a Child you can call The NSPCC on 0808 800 5000. And if you're Stateside you can call National Domestic Violence Hotline on 1-800-799 SAFE ( 7233 )

My Top 5 Favourite UFC Title Wins.

Intro

As a long standing fan of The UFC there has been multiple title wins that have stayed with me over the years, with each one being more differant than the last, But some have stuck with me due the impact of watching them live, or feeling the changing of the guard.

5. Lyoto Machida UFC 98.

The rise of Lyoto Machida is an underrated part of the UFC's history that needs to be studied, his run from his days in the Pride Organisation, you could tell that he was going to go far, so when the UFC purchased the fledging organisation, a slew of talent came with it including Machida. His rise up to the belt meant that It would be enevitable that he would be in the balance for the Light Heavyweight Crown. He would go on to beat Rashad evans at UFC 98, to gain the prize.

4. Frank Mir Beats Minatauro Noguiera UFC 92.

When you take a look at Franks back story. This moment was especially heart warming. Just four years before this frank was involved in a Motorcycle accident that very nearly robbed him of his career. His post fight interview with Joe Rogan brought this home, as the Vegas Native was brought to tears. He became a dad for the second time just days later. He would then lose in his quest to win the Heavyweight Championship to a man that makes me feel uneasy at UFC 100.

3. Forrest Griffin UFC 86.

Forrest Griffin is one of my favourite UFC Fighters to ever grace the octagon. And on this night in July 2008, all of his hard work had paid off, from becoming the first Ultimate Fighter winner, to the becoming epitath of the Light Heavyweight Division. This man achieved his dreams, and became a solid author of the best self help books.

2. Chuck liddell UFC 52.

This was the championship win that the MMA world had been waiting for. Chucks win over Randy Couture saw the end of a two and a half year cycle, of upset, and letdowns for the Iceman, to the point that Chuck was pointed to the marketable fighter that the UFC had at the time. The early 2000's may have seen the copmpany in a bad place financially, but it was a period in which New stars could be seen, as the sport slowly became even more mainstream. Chuck becoming the Light Heavyweight Champion was a landmark moment, that would elevate The UFC alongside the emergence of the Ultimate Fighter.

1. Chris Weidman UFC 162.

On the night of July 6th 2013, no one could call what was going to happen. On the surface It looked like another stand out when for Anderson Silva, that never happened. Chris Weidman stopped The Spider in the 1st round by knockout. This marked the end of an era. We as fans weren't just seeing the changing of the guard, it was a moment in time, that if you weren't pressent to see on TV, or in attendance, then you missed out.

My Top 5 Moments From AEW September To Remember.

Intro.

I have to start this off with an apology. This week has been hell when it comes making and releasing content. This was due to the fact that my broadband was on the blink. You guys know that I pride myself on giving you the best content that I can, and it annoys me when things don't go the way I want it. So this led me to pull this weeks work on Monday Night Raw. I've got other things coming out later on this week, that will make up for it. I've also had to cut down my AEW Coverage for September To Remember. This is due to the fact that my day job needs to be put first.

5. Hangman Adam Page And Kyle Fletcher Contract Signing.

I'm not the biggest fan of Contract signings, because as time has gone on the concept has been completely bastardised, but this was excellent. Don Callis. Hangman Adam Page, and. Kyle Fletcher had a fantastic 3 way promo dual, that dealt with themes of standing on your own. Past reflections, and potential for the future. This was excellent. I could've watched ten more minutes of this easily.

4. Jon Moxley vs Roderick Strong.

This was an excellent TV Match. Both men acted like fantastic foils for each other, as their exchanges were elevated in the last stages of The Match. Jon got the win, thanks to Wheeler Yuta. He gave Roderick a Bulldog choke to end the Match.

3. MJF Segment.

If you watch more than one thing from this broadcast, then this has to be high on the list. Also we got a voiceover cameo from Tony Khan. Max's Match against Mark Briscoe is going to be fire. Tables And Tacks, sounds like fun. And of course bloody.

2. Cope And Cage segment.

From Cash Wheeler delving into his own LTS. Dax putting them over as the best Tag Team in the world, and that glorious man was handing out fines. Cope and Cage fired back and put these guys in their place, and it was excellent. Plus all those Security Guards just for a man who can't get no ladies. I loved this segment. I love me some Stokeley Hathaway.

1. The Young Bucks vs The Bang Bang Gang.

As I was watching this. I had a bit of an epithany. The Young Bucks might be in the best form of their careers. I love the fact that they are working with underutilised talent. This was a fantastic TV Match, that did what it said on the tin. The Bucks qualified to get into the 4 Way Ladder Match at All Out.

My Top 5 UFC Fighters Who Fell Out With Dana White, But Are Now Friends.

Intro.

You don't get to be the head of the worlds larghest fight orginisation without making some enemies, and mr D White is no differant. This isn't new to the world of combat sports, as fighters and promoters have clashed over the years, but Dana White seems to have a bigger track record than most, so lets get into it.

5. Ken Shamrock.

Were do you begin with these two. Ken was known as an MMA legend leading into the early 2000's, and it was around this time that Zuffa came into picture. The timeline between these two is very extensive, and covers a lot of ground, so to say that these are like old siblings is an understatement, plus this gave us that classic Dana White moment when he said that Ken owed him money, and like The Terminator he's coming for it. The pair are on better terms now.

4. Ben Askren.

This one is a bit confusing, they went from cauticously hating each other, to being ok with each other, and it all started when White said that Askren was a boring fighter. White would be proven right, because ben isn't the most exciting fighter, but the  images from 2018 with the pair in press conferences, actually getting along was a funny sight.

3. Tito Ortiz.

These two men have a very long timeline, that goes back over 25 years, so to go through all of this would take me until christmas 2056, so this is how i'm going to sum this up. From near fights. Money disputes, and the overarching power struggle, these two at one point had a river of hate between them, but now they seem pretty calm. Mic drop.

2. Brendan Schaub.

From his stand up routines, to his appearances on Joe Rogans podcast. Mr Schaub has never hidden away his opinions on Dana, and as time has gone by in this moment Dana would use X to explain his thoughts on Schaub. As the former Heavyweight fighter took shots at Chimaev, and the Reebok deal. Proving one thing. Money is the route off all that is evil, and Brendans haircut.

1. Oscar Delahoya.

Boxing and MMA have had it's own rivalries, from fans online. Dana White vs Floyd Mayweather, and then there's this classic. Dana White vs Oscar Delahoya. In the Summer of 2018 it was confirmed that Oscar was putting on an MMA PPV, dipping his feet into the MMA world. The PPV would be headlined by Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz, with the first having no place in MMA due to being coaxed out of retirement. The then 48 year old Liddell would go on to get knocked out by The Huntington Beach Bad Boy. Both Dana, and. Oscar would go on a tirade of insults through the media, that would end with Dana's classic rant. Both men seem to on good terms these days.

My Thoughts On UFC Noche ( The Delayed Edition )

Intro.

This past Saturday the day of Mexican Independence took over America, and as a nation stood up, the world noticed, and the worlds leading fight organisation put another foot forward as UFC Noche came from San Antonio Texas. I can't apologise enough for the over delay in for this piece. It was due to the fact for two days I've had zero broadband, due my local area having issues, from their providers.

5. RIP Charlie Kirk.

I never talk about poloitics on this page, because you don't come here for that. I didn't agree with everythng that Charlie said. I thought his opinions on many issues were terrible in my opinion, but no one should die for their political beliefs. He left behind two children and a wife, and at this time, this is the thing we need to think about at this time. Everyone in this world is differant, and we need to use this time for calm.

4. Santiago Lima oh my.

Santiago Lima is a talent with a bright future. His Knockout of Quang Lee was a special thing, that you need to go out of your way to see. Lee showed true heart in defeat.

3. Alex Hernmandez Is Another Face To Look Out For.

It's no secret that as a Combat Sports fan I love a good knockout.  And Alex Hernandez and the way he knocked out Diego Perreira is something that looked like a skill in itself. This left me feeling flawed.

2. Kelvin Gastlelum Beats Dustin Stoltzfus.

I wasn't a fan of this. Kelvin missed weight by six pounds, this is because he was a replacement, and took the fight on three weeks notice, his performance felt a bit stagnant, and it was a bit flat if i'm being honest. But he pulled out the win, so that means it's onwards and upwards for Kelvin. I guess.

1. What's Next For Diego Lopes.

This is a tricky one, because what is next for Diego Lopes. This was by far the best I have ssen him in recent times. His performance against Alexander Volkanovsky earlier this year, was a reminder of how you can be on a high after your last fight, and then shot down in defeat. I don't think that Diego should go for the belt after this. I think he needs to be built back up, because when ever a fighter loses a championiship shot, they lose stock in the eyes of their promotion. These times are going to be telling when it comes to how Sean Shelby, and. Dana White book him.

 Friday Night Smackdown Review 13.9.2025.

Intro. Mania Going To Saudi Arabia.

Over the past 26 hours. I have heard arguments for and against this, and in my opinion, this is just another way for the Saudi Goverment, and TKO to gauge more money out of us fans. Case and point, I watched the press conference, and as it went on I felt my blood, and guts go cold, because Joe Tessatore examplified what I thought, he asked The Undertaker what American fans could expect if they fork out thousands if they take this trip? and the other one was, oh well that rules the UK out then doesn't it. I'm all for other countries getting Mania, but not at the cost of mass Sport Washing, that has cost lives, and has silenced others. Us fans that live in other countries have been crying out for a Mania for years, and knowing that bidding for it would come out of community funds, doesn't sit well with me.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Randy Orton. Drew Mcintyre. Tiffany Stratton, and. Jade Cargill were seen showing up to the arena. Also, hello Booker T and Vic Joseph.

Brock Lesnar Segment.

Brock Lesnar Came out, and. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. This was terrible, unfunny, and a bad way to use R Truth. I actually felt bad for Ron killings in this moment, because this segment was another look, how not to set examples for younger fans. Fighting your corner is bad, whilst being mentioned in a sexual assault, and trafficking lawsuit 44 times is good.

United States Championship Open Challenge Sami Zayn vs Rey Fenix.

This was an excellent TV Match. I liked all of this, and I thought that it was a good bit of business. Their in-ring work, and chemistry was solid, and I could've watched at least another 10 more minutes of this. Sami retained.

Back To Basics For The Wyatt Sic.

It looks like were going back to basics with The Wyatt sic, and I think that this is a good idea. It's just a shame that there still in the mier with The Street Profits.

Giulia vs Bfab.

I have just one question, what was the point of this. The whole Match was thrown out when Michin came out. Patrick just take your brain out, and plug it back in again, and this will all make sense.

Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill WWE Womens Championship.

This was decent, and then we got the finish. Both ladies were counted out, and then Nia Jax attacked. I'm going for a lye down.

Nick Aldis Segment.

First Chelsea Green bothers him, and then The Miz. Nick Aldis must feel like Rodney Dangerfield, because he gets no respect.

John Cena And Brock Lesnar Retrospective.

Ok no offence to Cena, but i'm not interested in watching anything to do with Brock Lesnar in our year of 2025. All this did was act as a cover up for what's really going on.

Drew Mcintyre vs Randy Orton.

I didn't like this, and it's a shame, because Drew Mcintyre has been one of my favourite things about WWE, over the past year. This was a slow methodical run through, that left me feeling bored. Drew got the win, he was about to take Randy's head off in the aftermath, giving him the same treatment that he gave Cody, but then as if by magic out came Colonel Gyle. Cody saved Randy, and then challenged Drew to a Match at Wrestlepalooza. Jean Claude Van Damme, this was a good way to send the show off the air.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

This was another slapped together mis-match of a broadcast. I liked some moments, and I was bored during others.

This weeks Friday Smackdown is a low 4/10.

Future Address Of The Blog.

Thank You.

When I started training myself to do this 4 years ago. I never thought that I would achieve what I have achieved. I started the idea for this blog off the back of my friends loosing their jobs, because as a person I felt lost. But if i'm being honest this idea for making content happened about nine months before this. I would watch Monday Night Raw. AEW Dynamite, and I would have a load of opinions go around my head, and I needed an outlet for this. So writing became something that I wanted to do. I started publishing my own work in January last year, and to say that I have felt a mixture of emotions is an understatement. But thanks to you guys checking me out. I was able to find the confidence to apply for adsense, and on the second attempt I got accepted. I'm not making instant money, but i'm grinding away, because this is my passion, and I look forward to every reader checking out my work, so with that said. If you've been with me since day one. Thank you, and if you're just discovering me now, also thank you.

My Aim.

My aim is to work in the media in some way. I have a real love for both MMA, and. Pro Wrestling, and it's my dream to be in the press conferences. When I started this out I went and got advice from guys that work in the industry like The Dadleys from Whatculture, and. Oli Davis from Wrestletalk. All four of these men have given me advice that I still use to this day. Their living my dream, so it's only right to aim as high as they do.

Future

When people send out these messages, it can normally sound as the end. But to me, i'm just getting started, and i'm not going to be slowing down. I might have to take a day off here and there, but overall my drive now is the same, as what it was four years. I'm still going to writing about Pro Wrestling, and giving my thoughts on all WWE, and. AEW shows, whilst adding in UFC Content as well. This is my passion, and i'm working hard to make this my life.

Confidence.

From my school days of growing up with learning issues, to trying to carve my way into an industry. I'm so proud of what i've managed to achieve, and it just goes to show, you can do anything if you have a vision, an idea, and the drive. When I started out. I had a few people who I used to work with tell me, and make feel like I was worthless, because I had a dream, and the only thing I can say to anyone who is in the same position that I was, is this. Hold your own, and ignore these people, because you owe it to yourself to keep going, and if you stop, then they've won. You guys can check me out at extremewrestlingreviews1.blogspot.com. I hope to see you there.

AEW Dynamite Review 11.9.2025.

Bryan Danielson Is Back On Commentary.

I love this. Bryan Danielson is back on commentary on a full-time basis for AEW. This is a fantastic move as Danielson has a wealth of knowledge, when it comes to multiple styles of the Pro Wrestling game.

Hangman Adam Page vs Josh Alexander.

This was excellent. The in-ring timing from both men was on point, and it married in with their exchanges, and counter exchanges. The near falls were solid, and their out of ring exchanges added a sense of drama to this outing. Lance Archer, and. Rocky Romero got taken out by Hangman, which allowed him to pick up the win with a buckshot. Hangman then laid waste to MJF, and. The Don Callis in the aftermath, and this brought out Kyle Fletcher. Both then had a fantastic promo dual. This dealt with the themes of earning respect, and getting someone to stand on their own. I liked all of this. Kyle will face Hangman at All Out for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Oh and Kyle wear some socks, because no one likes smelly feet.

MJF Segment.

This was caught after this Saturdays Collision, and all I have to say is this. Go out of your way to check this out, because this was awesome.

Young Bucks Segment.

I had one question that went through my mind as this went on. This was, what would I do with 500.000 pounds? I laughed my ass off when The Bucks got ghosted by The Dark Order, and even Brandon Cutler didn't want anything to do with them. Boys you can't trust Moxley.

Mercedes Mone And Emi Sakura vs Riho And Alex Windsor.

This Match was levied around the storyline of student beating the master, and it was a decent outing. The Matches within the Match could be a clear indication for the future. Riho got the won for her team, after she submitted her mentor Emi Sakura.

Ricochet And Goa Segment.

Ricochet said to Renee Paquette that during his Match with Shelton Benjamin later on, he wants their to be a gentlemans agreement. ( insert Sarcasm here ) I can see this going well.

FTR Segment.

Prior to this segment. AEW ran a hype video for Cope And Christian vs FTR, and the glorious man that is Stokeley Hathaway hated it. Dax then took to the mic and tried to fight two fans. This ended when Cash Wheeler battered some security guards. This was a confusing mix-bag.

Ricochet vs Shelton Benjamin.

I liked this. Both men put their best foot forward with solid exchanges, we nearly got a scissors attack, and Ricochet got the win after his mates GOA gave Shelton a forehead sandwich. So much for a Gentlemans agreement.

Hook Vingnette.

Hook doesn't need The Opps. Or does he. He's got a nice looking set up though. If that's his pad, then my god i'm in the wrong business.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Skye Blue Phily Street Fight.

When I saw this Match graphic. I was worried about the time restraints. However those were dumb founded. Toni Storm got her arse, and another part of her body stapled. We got videotape. VCR. Vinyl records. a fan sign, acting as a street sign, and both ladies becoming human mouse traps spots. I had a blast watching this. Storm got the win after she gave Skye Blue a Storm Zero on a steel chair. The rest of Skye's staple, aka The Craft rejects came out, and were taken out by Kris Statlander.

Willow Nightingale Segment.

Willow Nightingale tried to give Harley Cameron some advice, when it comes to Kris Statlander. I want her song cat face to be a number one hit.

500.000 Pound 10 Man Tag The Deathriders And The Young Bucks vs The Opps And Brodido.

This Party Match lived up to the name. I'm not the biggest fan of Party Matches, but I do feel that it makes sense to have them as main event attractions, because you can easily bounce storylines off from their aftermath. The Bucks got mugged off yet again with the original Dynamite theme, and pictures making them look like criminals. The physicality, and high flying action moulded into how this Match played out. The Bucks got the win, and just like that, they were rich again, because Mox said they could coin in his earnings. Brody King attacked the Bucks. Darby Allin went for Mox. And then it happened. A hooded figure attacked Darby, and it turned out to be Daniel Garcia. Both laid out Darby as the show went off the air. This has made Garcia feel a bit more relevant in my opinion.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

This was another solid episode of weekly TV, with great in-ring action, and the promo segments followed the same route.

This weeks Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

Top 5 UFC Fighters With Cult Auras.

Intro.

The term cult aura is something that is normally reserved for Comic Book Heroes like Wolverine, or. Captain America, but when it comes to the realm of the UFC heroes aren't just made, they're crafted with the individuals will, and skill. What i'm tring to say is fighters are the illustraitists, and the writers, akin to the likes of Brian Bendes. Mark Waid, and. Frank Miller.

5. Michael The Count Bisping.

To fans around the world Michael The Count was known in his time to be the mouthiest of fighters, but to us brits, he was seen as a Golden God when it came to MMA. He's now seen as one of the knowledgable figures within the UK scene, as the breaks down fights as a UFC Commentator.

4. Jose Aldo.

Once considered invincible Jose Aldo was known to be the only fighter to strike fear into Anderson Silva. This would mark the man as an MMA God in his home country of Brazil, beating the likes of Chad Mendes. Kenny Florian, and. Korean Zombie, all within his first reign. He retired earlier this year, and has left behind a solid legacy. He might have lost a bit of his shine, after losing to Connor Mcgregor, but overall this man has lived.

3. Sugar Sean O'malley.

As the bantamweight crown has many suitors trying to vie for its affections. This former Champ should never be overlooked, his aura that surrounded this him is something that I can't explain. He's talented, he's unauthordox, and you can't predict his fights.

2. Anderson Sliva.

How do explain The Spider to an uneducated MMA fan. The truth is you can explain his man controversies with one Google search, but his fighting style, well that's another story. This man has influenced by many fighters from the likes of Connor Mcgregor. Jose Aldo, and israel adysana.

1. Jon Jones.

It can't explain what makes Jon Jones so special. He's a complicated man who's faced his controversies, but has maid his mark in the cage as a warrior who has become a cult like figure, for the right, and wrong reasons.

My Top 5 Songs That I Would Sing With The Punker.

 Intro.

If you've been living under a giant sized rock for the past six days, then you'll know that Cm Punk, and. Becky Lynch delivered one of Monday Night Raw's best segments of the year, and when Punk called out Seth Rollins, he mentioned the idea of singing songs with fans, and this got me thinking, which songs would I sing with one bill Phil. So lets get into it.

5. Won't Back Down. Rancid.

Even though i'm not straight edge. I do identify with the punk, alternative, and, metal scene, and one of my favourite punk bands alongside. The Dropkick Murphys. Green Day. Minor Threat, and. Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes, is Rancid, and this song is a positive banger that me and Phil would sing to death.

4. For Whom The Bell Tolls. Metallica.

I'm not sure if Punk is a fan of Papa Hetfield and co, but I am, so this would make for an interesting interaction.

3. Rollercoaster. Blink 182.

This is a deep cut from their fifth album Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, and it goes heavily under the radar. I think this is my favourite Blink tune, and i've loved this band for years, so you could just imagine me, and. Mr Brookes having a sing song to this at a gig.

2. Ozzy Osbourne Crazy Train.

I've had many nights at gigs singing my lungs out to this. So I wonder what it would look like if I did this with Mr Punk. I can hear him now screaming the words mental wounds are still heeling, and driving me insane. These words could sum up his time in AEW.

1. Shipping Up To Boston.

This tune speaks for itself. From it's intro, all the way to it's mind melting singalong chorus. I think me and the second city saint would have a blast wrecking this classic.

My Thoughts On UFC Fight Night Paris.

Intro.

With the Summer now coming to a close. The year has come into focus for the worlds biggest fight organisation. Their deal with Paramount+ has shaken the fight industry stateside, whilst over here their deal with TNT Sports seems to be going from strength to strength. I do wonder if they do leave TNT Sports, were would they go?

5. William Gomis Has a Bright Future.

William Gomis, beat. Robert Ruchalla by decision, in what was a solid effort. Gomis's Stand up was stiff, whilst Ruchalla had a good ground game. This is what you call a balanced mix.

4. Axel Sola. ( Oh my what a debut. )

Axel Sola needs to be studied, because the way that he dispatched of Rhys Mcgee with ease in the 3rd round was awesome. This just goes to show, a sickening body shot, can be a deciding factor.

3. Is Mason Jones The UK's Next UFC Superstar.

After watching Mason Jones, beat. Bolaji Oki. I couldn't help but think that this guy is the next UFC Superstar to come from the UK. His performance last night was excellent as he showed a real fighters heart.

2. Paul Craig Announces His Retirement From MMA.

I just want to say. Good luck to Paul Craig. I've been watching this man for well over a decade, and I know people who've met Paul, and all I have to say is this, he's truly earnt his retirement. I don't care how he lost to Modestas Bukauskas, because tonight was about saying goodbye to a true warrior.

1. Imahov Is Now The No1 Contender For The Middleweight Crown.

Nassquirdine Imahov is the future of the Middleweight Crown, a fight against Islam Machichev should now be on the horizon, and you know what i'm here for it, because that fight would break my mind.

 Friday Night Smackdown Review 6.9.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Damien Priest. Giulia. Michin, and. Cm Punk were all seen showing up to the arena.

John Cena Segment.

I didn't like this, and i Will get into why, once I have run this segment through. Johns passion, and overall drive is infectious, and as he went through his history with the arena, and the state of Chicago, it hit me. This is going to be his last appearance on the blue brand, so this was a perfect time for him to kick back and have fun. Sami Zayn came out, and stated that he wanted to give John the same chance, that he gave him 10 years ago. Sami said that he was bringing back the United States Championship open challenge, and asked John for his blessing. John agreed, and Sami challenged him for a Match tonight. This was agreed on, much to the delight of the fans in Chicago. All of this was strong. The Impromptu Match was a nice blessing that echoed moments in John's career. And then it happened. Brock Lesnar came out. I have no interest in watching Brock Lesnar in our year of 2025. This undermined the severity of the promo dual, and sends the wrong message to younger fans. Evil corporate power good. Victims of misconduct bad. This was a vile reminder of how icky, and morally bankrupt this industry can be.

Melo Don't Miz Segment.

Melo Don't Miz, were given the outta the way you treatment, for Becky Lynch. Do better with Carmelo Hayes WWE.

Damien Priest vs Alestair Black.

Alestair Black, deat. Damien in what was solid, but forgetful TV Match, that echoed a solid form of chaos.

Drew vs Randy Next Week.

Randy Orton, will face. Drew Mcintyre next week, and I get the feeling that Colonel Gyle from Street Fighter might show up. Also Tiify and Jade for the womens belt. Next week sounds like appointment viewing.

Giulia vs Michin.

Giulia, beat. Michin in what was a bad TV Match, after Kiana James refused to learn her lesson.

Alexa Bliss And Charlotte Flair Segment.

So Charlotte Flair isn't cleared to compete after last weeks beatdown from The Secret Hervice, and lily's a Dr. Ok what? Lily's a Dr now. Patrick just go and have a lye down, everything will make sense when you wake up.

Seth Rollins Segment.

This was a sixteen minute promo tour da force, that in places was a delightful flip reverse from what we got on Monday, and it was great. Seth appeared from second level of the fans, and brought out his wife. Becky was agitated by the fans love for another woman, and this would be the theme of this segment. Seth promised the death of Cm Punk, whilst Lynch put herself over. This brought out Chicago's favourite son, and this brought on the flip reverse that I was talking about. Punk and Becky had another solid segment, and this lead to the ultimate croschendo. Punk left the ring after Becky slapped him repeatibly, forcing him to walk away, and this was when he said that he doesn't hit women, but he knows someone who does. This was when the theme of light it up echoed around the Allstate arena. AJ Lee was back, and she kicked Becky's arse, and it was great. Seth took Becky away, as Punk and AJ embraced in the ring as the show went off the air. I loved this.

Overview of Friday Night Smackdown.

I don't know what to make of this broadcast. On one hand the Matches were forgetful dut ok, and the promos were solid, however the overarching loom of Brock Lesnar in 2025 just makes me feel uneasy.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a 7/10.

Top 5 Times When UFC Fighters Knew That They F***** Up.

Intro.

In life we all make mistakes, but it's how you come back from that matters, and it's no different if you work for the worlds leading fight organisation, because if fighters mistakes, they could be done with the company.

5. Jessie Taylor.

Now I could sit here, and go through the lore of this man, but if I did that, we would be here until the 25th of December. He was on the 7th season of The Ultimate Fighter, and he actually did alright on the show, he got all the way to the finale, and then it happened. On a night out in Vegas, after the show had wrapped, he got drunk with other members of team Griffin, kicked out the window of a limosine, and harrassed guests at a fancy hotel. Dana got hold of this, and the moment when he told jessie that he was out is the stuff of you messed up legend.

4. Gabe Rudiger.

This should act as a lesson to all future MMA Fighters, don't go on a national TV show bent out of shape, and then don't over eat when you get in the house. When Gabe failed to make the weight limit of 155 pounds, therefore cancelling his fight against Cory Hill. Dana White was pissed, and he kicked the Cake lover off the show, and proceeded to go on a moderate scorched tirade on Team Penn.

3. Junior Browning.

Season 8 of the UFC's flagship reality TV show had some great talent. Tom Lawler. Erfrian Escudero, and. Ryan Bader, and then there's Junior Browning. Was he a flip out artist. Yes. He had an out of control personality. Yes, and should he have been kicked off the show on multiple occasions. Yes. Dana took the decision to let him fight after discussing his future with the other fighters.

2. Michael Bisping UFC 127.

When the fight card for UFC 127 was announced. It didn't actually make me feel very excited. The PPV took place in Perth Australia, and was headlined by Jon Fitch vs BJ Penn, but it was Michael Bisping vs Jorge Rivera that caused outrage. Jorge made a serious of videos with his manager taking shots at Bispings family. The fight would be a one sided affair, that saw Bisping get the win by TKO, and in the aftermath saw him spit on one of Jorges cornermen. This angered Dana White, who said in an interview with his best mate Ariel Helwani, that he wasn't happy with the brash man from my country, and he would be speaking to him. Don't spit on people everyone it's nasty.

1. Paul Semtex Daley UFC 113.

Over the past thirty years, fighters have had to learn to manager there anger. From Ken Shamrock vs Tito Ortiz. Quinton Rampage Jackson vs Rashad Evans, and. Matt Hughes vs Frank Trigg, are all great examples of this. Someone needed to have a word with Paul Daley. He and had taken Koschecks bait during the build, and that was carried into their fight, because at the end of the fight he sucker punched Koscheck. Dana released Daley within hours of the fight ending, stating that he would never be back in the UFC, and that's what happened. Paul went on to have a successful career in Bellator MMA.

AEW Dynamite Review 4.9.2025.

Gabe Kidd Gate Crashes The Opening.

Gabe Kidd Gatecrashed the opening segment, like he was Delia Smith at a football game. Darby then attacked him. This led to a hole load of crazyness, including Skateboard tacks. Hook, and The Opps, helped out, trying to stop the carnage. Darby and, Gabe Kidd then had some backstage fun including powder and a bodybag. This was great.

Mercedes Mone vs Alex Windsor AEW TBS Championship.

This Match was centred around solid physicality. I prefered this to the 4 way that they had at Forbidden Door. Both ladies had fantastic counteractions, and exchanges. Mercedes retained, in what was a solid opener. I liked this.

Ricochet And GOA segment.

Ricochet, and. Gates Of Agony then challenged The Hurt Syndicate to a Trios Match at All Out, saying that they are going to take away their legacies. MVP answered this back later on. This was decent.

Mark Briscoe Segment and Impromptu Match with Lance Archer.

I took multiple things away from this. The 1st thing was that this segment was awesome. The second was Mark's believability is something that needs to be studied, and the third was the fact that this guy has nine kids, that by itself is dizzying. Hearing him talk about his memories of the 2300 arena was a nice heart warming reminder of just what this industry can be. He then called out The Damn It Don Callis Family, and said before he faces Kyle Fletcher, he wanted a fight from anyone one of them, this was when Lance Archer stepped forward. This Match was what it was, a decent filler gap, that was highly entertaining. Mark got the win with a froggy bow. I liked this. Mark will face Konosuke Takeshista on Collision.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

Toni challenged any of the ladies of AEW to step up, because she wants to be Kenny Omega, because she wants to be a belt collector. Don't ever change Toni.

Cameron And Statlander Segment.

Harley Cameron has found her wrath again thanks to Kris Statlander, and oh look Wheeler Yuta is on the flirt again. The Deathriders are into Statlander.

Claudio Castagnoli And Wheeler Yuta vs Brodido AEW Tag Team Championship.

I liked this. The in-ring work was solid, and the flow melted into the chemistry of the Match. The near falls added a sense of electricity to the proceedings. Darby Attacked Moxley at ringside, this gave way for the finish. As Brodido retained, after Bandido gave Yuta a 21 suplex.

Kazuchika Okada Segment.

Okada vs Takeshista, oh Tony Khan you absolute tease. I need this Match in my life. Book it Tony.

Adam Copeland And Christian Cage Segment.

This never got off the ground, because out came FTR. Look I like Cope and Cage, but I also like FTR, but which one is better, there's only one way to find out. Fiiiiiiiiigggght. Security, and the ROH locker room had to seperate both teams. I think this was needed, and fell into place perfectly. But one thing. It's never Ok to annoy a glorious man. I love Big Stoke.

Hangman Adam Page Kenny Omega And Jetspeed vs The Don Callis Family.

From The Elite seeing life from opposite sides of the coin. Chaos becoming a cathartic thrill ride, and blending into the pace of the Match. The energetic bursts sold the in-ring work. The Young Bucks have their theme music back, and their having to slum it with us fans, doing meet and greets. Kenny, and. Hangman working over Kyle Fletcher was awesome, and Josh Alexander, and. Mike Bailey had a fantastic Match within the Match, and the barricade stunts from The Young Bucks, and. Kevin Knight looked sickening. This would lead into the final stages, and. Exchanges of the Match, as Kyle Fletcher got the win for his team. Then came the beat down angle. The Don Callis Family then attacked, and laid waste to Jetspeed, and. Kenny Omega. Kyle Fletcher put Kenny through a table that had been set up by Rocky Romero, and. Lance Archer. This is a likely way to take Kenny off from TV due him needing to rest up from injuries. The  way that this angle was pressented was awesome.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

This was a stable broadcast as we head to All Out, and I had fun watching this before I went to my day Job.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

My Top 5 Moments When Pro Wrestling And MMA Press Conferences Went Off The Rails.

Intro.

Press conferences are nowadays a hot bed for things going up the wall in both Pro Wrestling and MMA. Gone are the days of when fighters and Pro Wrestlers would act like wholesome humans, that you can take home to meet the family, and in there place are bitter feuds. Beer, and baked goods, and payment scandals, so lets get into it.

5. Tito Ortiz UFC 84.

I've said this in the past, that Tito Ortiz, and. Dana White can't stand each other, and this press conference was golden, from Dana standing his ground when defending his fighters, to Tito burying him, and having a go at the payment structure that the company has put in place. Just check this out, because it gets awkward quickly.

4. Cody Rhodes And Jey Uso Are Drunk.

Cast your minds back to October 2023. This came at the press conference after WWE Fastlane. Both men had become the Tag Team Champions, when they beat. Finn Balor, and. Damien Priest. Both men during the Press Conference were a bit squiffy. Beer and Press Conferences are a dangerous mix.

3. UFC 158. Ariel Helwani Pisses Off His Best Mate Dana White. ( insert Mrs Crabople laugh here )

All of this was centred around whether Nick Diaz would turn at Press Events. Ariel would go on a minor attack Nick, to the point that Dana had to step in, and shut Ariel up, this was only one moment in a love/hate dibacle.

2. Connor Mcgregor UFC 202.

This was all out crazy. Mcgregor was unprecidently late to the Press conference, and this caused carnage, fights, and. Dana White being left in the middle. You love to see it.

1. AEW Brawl Out.

Baked goods. Backstage antics molding into real life, and a pissed of Punker. Could only end one way, badly if you're the many facial expressions of Tony Khan. Cm Punk went on a burying tirade throwing. The Elite. Hangman Adam Page. MJF, Scott Carlson, AEW as a company, and the media under the bus. This would lead to legal issues surrounding what actually happened, and has become a blackeye for AEW that they've just about recovered from.

Top 5 WWE UK Moments.

Intro.

At this moment in time, us Pro Wrestling fans here in the UK, are getting truly spoilt for choice, yes I understand that this has come off of the back of the worst form of tribalism. The matter of consumerism becomes ignored. This has been a trait for years, as international markets have become a hot bed for welcoming in this form of sports entertainment. As a fan for many years. I have been priviledged to see as these incidents, and events unfold. So this is my top 5 list of the WWE UK Moments.

5. One Night Only.

The first of these events would take place in September of 1997, and it's historic for one reason. HBK's backstage politicking on international shores. It's was known that The British Bulldog was due to go over HBK and become the European Champion, in front of his family, one of which was suffering from Cancer. HBK had become the European. The fans in Birmingham were stunned, and as a fan watching at home. I was confused, because one of my favourites looked humiliated. It was reported at the time that this was down to backstage politicking, this was a trait that HBK had explored for years at this point, and on the 5th of November this would have devistating consequences.

4. John Cena vs Shawn Michaels.

This Match would go on to become a classic, as the years unfolded. Monday Night Raw had been recorded at Earls Court In London. This would be the last time WWE would use the venue, and after this they would use The 02 going forwards. The Match was something special, and has gone down in WWE UK lore as a classic.

3. The Rock Banters The Fans At Rebellion 1999.

Just the utter name of this UK Only one night PPV, makes my mum squirm, oh the arguments we had. However on this night The Final Boss aka The Great One was on fire, he blasted a brummie for being from Birmingham, and then told him to shut his mouth. Classic Dwayne.

2. Roman Takes The Pin.

I had mates who went to WWE Money In The Bank in 2023, which took place at The 02. I watched from home, because I couldn't afford a ticket. But if I had gone, then i would've been treated to a steller card. A John Cena Rah Rah speech, that saw him humiliate Greyson Waller, and of course an awesome main event. The Bloodline Roman Reigns, and. Solo Sikoa vs The Usos. This Match was sensational. It had every single seek of s thrill, that UK fans up until this point had been crying out for. The near falls became major story hooks as I sat on my bed watching this with a more to share bag of crisps. I loved this Match.

1. British Bulldog vs Bret Hart WWF Intercontinental Championship Summerslam 1992.

The rumours, and true stories that surround this Match are legendary, and it blends into this Matches lore, to the point that over the years, the stories have been fascinating that the Match. Bret has openly said in his autobiography that he walked Davey through this Match, due to the addiction issues that Davey Boy Smith was having at the time. This is why I believe that Bret is a genius when it comes down to the mechanics of putting together Matches, and seeing them through to their final execution. This Match proved the fact, that the phrase. The best there is. The best there was. And The best there ever will be, wasn't just a catchy slogan, it was a way for some to truly prove themself.

My Top Insights From WWE SNME. Intro.  As I sit here on a cold Sunday Afternoon writing this pieece. I have to say that this is one of the ...
