 AEW Dynamite Review 23.10.2025.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

Hangman Adam Page wasn't in a good moode after WrestleDream this past Saturday, and it was aimed at Samoa Joe. Cheer up Hangman.

The Opps vs The Hurt Syndicate AEW Trios Championship.

I don't think it's a secret that I wasn't a fan of The Hurt Syndicate vs The Demand from this past weekend, but this was better, the Matches within the Match were solid, and it featured strong work from both teams. However those pesky boys in The Demand played a part in the finish as Joe got the win, catching MVP in his Clutch Submission. Joe then cut a scaving promo on the crowd, he praised them, and he resorted to bodyshaming. The Match was great, however I could've done without the bodyshaming.

Kris Statlander Segment.

Kris Statlander accepted Mercedes Mone's Challenge for Full Gear. This has left me feeling divided. One part of me thinks that this is going to be great, and the otherside of me thinks that this could fall by the wayside.

Darby Allin Segment.

This was a short fire way of telling the audience that Darby isn't done with The Deathriders. This had fire, passion, and grace, and it was a great. Mox answered this back later on. I get why some fans want this to end, i'm just giving my opinion.

4 Way Womens Tag Team Match.

Jamie Hayter, and. Queen Aminata, beat. The Sisters Of Mercy. Megan Bayne, and. Penelope Ford, and Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, in what was a solid TV. In the aftermath Hayter and Aminata called out The Sisters of Mercy as their first opponents in the Womens Tag Team Tournament. I liked this.

The Young Bucks Segment.

The Young Bucks were on the scrounge for a big money Match, so Tony Khan came out of his office and put them in 400k Match with FTR, and they will be facing Jurassic Express, and Jetspeed on Collision. So Collision is going to be worth watching this week, and Tony Khan didn't sound awkward in anyway, mainly because this was probably pre taped.

Mercedes Mone Celebration Segment.

I loved this. The detail that was on display here was great. The set up may have looked predictable, but the execution was great. Mercedes interaction with Puppet Mercedes was hilarious. From the dialogue to Stat attacking Ms Mone, this was great. I love Harley Cameron.

Kyle O'reilly vs Jon Moxley And The Conglomeration vs Deathriders 3 Way.

These two Matches were a study in contrast, on one hand Mox vs O'reilly offered up a solid ground game, thrown in with decent physicality, that had a dodgy finish. The Bad finish happened after Mox decked a referee whilst being held in an ankle lock, whilst The Trios Match between Claudio Castagnoli. Wheeler Yuta, and. Daniel Garcia vs Orange Cassidy. Roderick Strong, and Mark Briscoe, was a barn burning stomper of a Match. Briscoe got the win for his team With the Jaydriller. I liked both of these Matches. Oh and The Conglomerations new theme is a Mixture between Beverly Hills 90210. Friends, and a fever dream.

Kyle Fletcher Segment.

Before I started work on this write up, I took a look online so I could gather what the feelings are about this weeks episode. I get the concerns about feuds continuing when they should be done, and I agree with this one. I had no time for this segment, and it's a shame because I like both men involved. Don Callis told Mark Briscoe to get to the back of the line, because he's not getting another shot at the TNT Championship. I fully suspect that this will happen at Full Gear.

Womens Tag Team Tournament Brackets.

I've got to say it, this Womens Tag Team Tournament looks really tasty, oh and Mina Shirakowa vs Thekla, oh go on then AEW if you must.

AEW Unified Championship Kazuchika Okada vs Bandido.

I didn't write many notes for this Match, because on the surface I didn't think I would need them, and as it played I was right. This was a no note worthy TV Match. Okada retained, and in the aftermath TDCWO came out to celebrate, whilst Takeshita just stood on the rampway. This is clear direction going into Full Gear, even though it does feel a bit rushed.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

I understand why there was a lot of misfeelings towards this weeks show, but in my opinion. I did enjoy it. Yes the continunisation of storylines is a bit tedious, but the promos, and in ring work was solid, and on an enjoyable level.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 7/10.
