Intro

With the current state of WWE, looking like a public reminder of the murkier side to the wrestling industry. This past week, saw even more details about the Ashleigh Mizzaro case come to light. Ashleigh was a former WWE Diva, who was hired by the company in the mid noughties. Mizzaro left the WWE In 2008, under a clowd of smoke. In 2006 on a trip to the troops tour, she was attacked by a dr, claiming to be part of the US Army, this would have a lasting impact on Ashleigh, who was told by her employers, when back stateside, to not take the matter further, because of the impact that it could have on their Army relationship. The meeting in which she was told this, she had to relay her story to several WWE higher ups, including. Vince Mcmahon, and unfortunately. I think she could be another victim of Mcmahon. This would go on to have a lasting effect on Ashleigh. In 2013 Ashleigh took part in a lawsuit, taking WWE to court, over treatment of talent with concussions. This would be dropped in 2016, with. Ashleigh retracting her statement. Flash forward to febuary 2024. Vince is out of WWE, due to his awful actions, and his own daughter Stephanie, could now be implicated. Now if this is true, and i'm not saying that is, then all involved should be repremanded, to the highest extent. I'm a believer, that you should, believe, and listen to victims, and look into their soul when doing so, because when you do that, you can see a thousand stories unfold, TLL, Talk. Listen, and. Kevin Owens vs Dominik Mysterio Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

From the Human Oven, getting booed out of the building, or dot dot wav, you decide. The physicality was decent, and both men put forward a good showcase for themselves. R Truth came for some shenanigans, Dom kicked out of a cannonball and splash combo. Dom asked Truth to get him a chair, to finsih Kevin off. Truth argued that he isn't in the Judgement. Dom told him he was. So when he got the chair, he put his feet up, which allowed Kevin to hit Dom with a pop up powerbomb for the win. Drew Mcintyre, and. LA Knight, had a littel dispute. ( Yeeeeeaaaahj

 Elimination Chamber qualifying Match Zelina Vega vs Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton, beat. Zelina Vega to advance to the womens. Elimination Chamber Match. The Match was flat, and was used as forum, to further the Lwo, and. Legado Delfantasma storyline. Legado were at ringside, this would be used to full effect for the finish, when. Zelina, and. Electra Lopez got Into a fight at ringside, allowing Tiffany to hit Zelina with the pme for the win.

The OC Is done

Aj Styles then took his anger out on. Gallows, and. Anderson, leaving. Michin in the middle. I had a clever song made up, about The OC, with the famous theme tune from the tv series, but I forgot It.

Post Malone

It was confirmed earlier in the week that. Post Malone is the new music executive producer for the 2k Games. So there will be no, Saliva. Drowning Pool, or. Static X. Basically it's going to be a nu metal freezone, Which sucks, because I love me some nu metal, thankfully they do have some Turnstile. So it's all bad.

Damage Ctrl segment

Iyo Sky. Kairi Sane, and. Asuka cut a promo In Japanese, this was solid.

Beau Morris and Xavier Bernal vs The AOP

This didn't last very long. Xavier and his mate, got murdered by The AOP.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match Logan Paul vs The Miz

This. Was decent, not great, but decent, from. Miz nearly getting beaten with his own finisher, Logan getting some help from one of his friends, but getting stopped by. The Miz. Miz being tempted to use the Brass Knucks. To Logan getting the win with an inverted skull crushing finale. The Maverick is going to the land of Oz.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match Naomi vs Alba Fyre

Naomi, beat. Alba Fyre to advance to the womensa Chamber Match, in a flat TV Match.

Dakota Kai and Bayley segment

Dakota Kai, bumped into Bayley backstage. Dakota asked her for help, whilst doing her best Princess Leia Impersonation, because Bayley is her only hope. Help me Bayley Wonkanobi, your my only hope. Yes. I'm a Star Wars nerd so shoot me.

Bron Breakker segment

Nick Aldis then made it official. Bron Breakker has signed with the blue brand.

The Bloodline Segment

I loved this segment, from the promise that it gave, the prospect of the future. to the fact I felt like a child watching from behind the TV Screen. All of this was excellent. Roman kicked off proceedings, by getting the fans In attendance to acknowledge him. He wasted no time after that. He got straight to business, he played up the fans stupidity, calling them Idiots, and dumb, for being from Utah. He told them when his cousin comes out, not to ruin what he has to say by laughing at his catchphrases, because this is the most important night in WWE history, The Rock comes out embracing his 2003, heel persona. This. Was brilliant, from. Romans set up, to. The Great One smashing down the foundations with his words, whilst looking like a chissled piece. He informed the fans that they smashed the all time attendance, for the largest gathering of trailer park, he then hit his catchphrase, but an inverted version, because. FINALLY, your life has meaning, his insults including, inbred kids, and bigamy, hit like a razor blade to my sences, he blamed the fans for ruining, what could have been the biggest Mania mainevent ever, because of. Cody. He slated Cody's story, whilst Roman just smiled, and how his logic doesn't apply in any sport, and I have to say, he has a point, He brought up the short comings of sports great Michael Jordan, and if you don't get where he is coming from, then your nothing but a bunch of entitled. Cody Crybaby Bitches, Cody is a loser, and. The Bloodline is dominant, If ya smell what The Rock is cooking. I loved loved loved this. This. Was Gold. God bless you Dwayne, may you forever keep me feeling entertained.

Overview Of Smackdown

I loved this weeks Smackdown, from the decent in ring action, to the earth breaking ending segment, this was great. Due to the NBA allstars weekend, their is no Aew Collision, so i'm going enjoy my Sunday evening, and watch a Ted Marathon.

Aew Dynamite Review 15.2.2024

Intro

Over the past few weeks. I have noticed a slight change within the Aew fanbase, the feeling is that the show is getting better, and that. Tony Khan, has listened to fan complaints, the rankings are back. his savy booking is back, and most importantly, he has calmed down on twitter. ( for now that is ) Aew seems to be on a better track now, as opposed to last summer, leading Into All In at Wembley ( which I attended with my mate Dave ) on the evidence of what I have just witnessed, this is a company figuring out how to get back, to their version of the promise land, and i'm here for the full ride.

Jon Moxley vs Dax Harwood

This weeks Dynamite kicked off with a rare treat, a. Dax Harwood, vs. Jon Moxley singles Match. I loved this for an opening Match, from. Dax flipping off Jon, Mox giving Dax a smooch on valentines day. Dax going body first into the steal steps, both men taking a nasty bump to the outside, to them throwing hands, that prompted Mox to put a leg lock on Dax. Both men did impersonations of pitbulls, whilst having great back and forth chemistry, the near falls were solid, and kept me intrenched with the action, the story to this match, was the aftermath from Saturdays Collision. Mox kicked out of brainbuster, which led to him slipping Dax into a rear naked choke for the win. Cash saved Dax from a Claudio beatdown, in the aftermath.

Future of Konosuke Takeshista

Renee Paqutte asked Damn it Don Callis, who is next for Konosuke Takeshista? and replied by saying. Konosuke has beaten everyone, so he has looked into his own family for answers. Konosuke will face. Will Osperay at Revolution. Ok Patrick stop dribbling, but the Match is mouthwatering. I know it is, but your device looks like it's swimming in a pool of spit. Takeshista vs Osperay yes please.

Wardlow vs Barrett Brown

Here lies Barrett Brown. He came. He saw, and he was murdered by Wardlow, whilst. Adam Cole sat on commentary. RIP Barrett Brown. you will always be missed.

Adam Copeland vs Daniel Garcia

I liked all of this. From the decent physicality, the balance of veteran giving aid to a young talent, and the promise, that came in the aftermath. The Match was thrown out, when. Nick Wayne interfered on behalf of his dad. Christian Cage. Killswitch made Daddy Magic exstinct, whilst. Copeland saved Garcia from a beat down, putting himself in the firing line, in the process, he was given a low blow, by the hottest looking mum in wrestling. Nick Wayne's mum, who's got it going on, which lead to a full on family assault, with Cage taking out his former best friend, with his kryptonite, a steal chair concerto. I hate dq finishes, or when matches get thrown out, but this made a lot of sense. So i'm going to let it play out.

Samoa Joe.Hangman Adam Page, and. Swerve Strickland

I loved this segment. Joe kicked off the proceedings, with an apology, for the draw last week, because this has put him a position, that is bigger and dumber, because this rewarded mediocrity, you could send in all of your  stars in this 3 way, because when they come in, they won't walk out. Swerve came out. he quoted Joe, by saying this isn't personal, and that the protocol will crown him as the new champ. No one can out work him, and no one can out hustle him. His 15 year journey has led to this. Hunger defies the great. Hangman called this horse s***, because he values the belt, and the champonship, it should be between him and Swerve. Hangman said that he has no time for Swerve, because he could not beat him, which is why he refused to give him 5 more minutes. because he doesn't deserve 5 more minutes. None of that matters though, because joe is going to kill them both. I thought this was great.

Toni Storm pressents her new movie

Toni Storm pressented her new movie. Wet Ink, from her taking shots, and going through her history, with. Deonna Purrazzo, to her showcasing her facial expressions which were priceless. This had me howling with laughter. Deonna answered this back, later on, by saying that she is going to break Toni's arm. This Match is going to rule. I can feel it. Also nice tatt Toni.

The Young Bucks vs Top Flight

Even though the Match quality was not great in my opinion, this was all about the heel work, from. Matthew, and Nicholas Jackson arriving on a private jet, earlier in the evening, looking a like a mixture between. Patrick Bateman, and. The men from Delmonte. whilst wearing last weeks suits, complete with Darby Allins blood, they wrestled the Match in said suits, Darby's blood made them look Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream. They got the win with their new. EVP trigger finisher. Tony Schiavone tried to get a word with them in the aftermath. Matt proclaimed themselves as the no1 contenders to the. Tag Team Championship, complete with cheesy graphic. Nick gets a tad heated with Tony and shoves him over. Both brothers offer to give him a helping hand, putting himself in a compromising position. Matt apologised, this braught out. Darby Allin, his promo was great, as he spoke from the heart, calling back to the early days of the promotion, and how he had to beg for his shot, and feeling his displeasure at not being on the 1st episode of Dynamite, the mission statement at the start was to change the world, but all they did was change their bank balances, and want more time off, He then accepted the Match at Revolution, for. Stings final Match, all of this was excellent. And one other thing, you can't fine Tony Schiavone, that's sacralidge.

Bang Bang Scissor Gang segment

The Bang Bang Scissor Gang, will be in a 12 Tag Match on Rampage this week. Poor Colton gunn, Daddyass stole his thoughts.

Willow Nightingale vs Skye Blue

Willow Nightingale, beat. Skye Blue, thanks to Stokeley Hathaway. Right I have said it once, and I will say it again. Can I please have more stokeley Hathaway on my tv please.

Orange Cassidy vs Matt Taven Texas Deathmatch

This was not what I wanted, but i'm glad I got It, this was excellent, from both men fighting in  the crowd. Taven nearly putting Cassidy through a table, with an elbow drop. and eventually doing so later on. Cassidy was busted open. Taven took an awesome spot flying through a table. Cassidy found Chuck's Valentines Day gift, Milk Tray disguised as thumbtacks, this caused several cool spots. Mike Bennett came out, which lead to Trent coming out with a led pipe. Mike piled up a load of chairs, that allowed Orange to hit a beach break, on those chairs, trent took the bullet for Orange, after roderick Strong came out, and tried to hit Orange. Orange won with an orange punch, wrapped in a chain. I f****** loved this.

Overview Of Aew Dynamite

I loved this weeks Dynamite, the matches were great, and the promos were excellent. This weeks Dynamite is a solid 9/10

 

Monday Night Raw Review

Intro

This Intro, isn't really an intro, because it's an apology, sorry for the lateness of this review, this is due to my day job, needing my focus yesterday. Normal service will now resume.

The New Day, and. Jey Uso vs. Imperium

For an opening match, this was a real mix bag. The action felt fluid, whilst giving us some good promise, from. Kofi flattening Giovani Vinci, to. Jey Uso facing off with Gunther, the in ring work was solid, but I felt that something was missing, and I can't put my finger on what it was. The New Day, and. Jey Uso got the win, with a splash. after a great final flurry.

Andrade segment

Andrade is back in WWE, and he hasn't been anywhere since he left 3 years ago. ( according to WWE that is.) Does any remember when he wanted to buy Darby Allin.

Bobby Lashley vs Bronson Reed Elimination Chamber Qualifier

Bobby Lashley, beat. Bronson Reed, to qualifier for a place in the mens Elimination Chamber Match, in a Match of big beefy boys, doing big beefy things.

Sami Zayn, and. Jackie Redmond segment

Is the pandemic era back? I loved this segment. It was the perfect blend of seriousness, and stupidness, Sami's character, is a study in contrast, from this time last year, to now. last year, he was in the middle of a groundbreaking feud with. The Bloodline, and this year, his dream of going nowhere, but he won't let this get him down, because it has not ditered him, he will be a champion. shinsuke Nakamura then came on screen, in the empty arena, and gave his blend of menacing, munical nutcase, In Japanese. This set up the main event later on. But what came next, was the highlight of the night.

Cody Rhodes segment

This. Was, pure perfection, from start to finish. Cody basked in the glory of the fans, he thanked them for supporting him, all throughout last week. This proved my point. Fans are the life blood of any organisation. He dared to show any emotion, in fear of being called a cry baby. This started the chant of Rocky sucks, being shouted in unison. He brought everyones attention to. The Pat Macafe show from last week. In which The Great One insulted chicken nuggets, and telling fans to shove them up our arse's. No. Dwayne, that would hurt two much. Cody spoke with integrity, and conviction, as he laid bare the ramifications of last Thursdays press conference. Last Thursday. Dwayne slapped Cody, but. When. Cody gets hit he comes back stronger, with a differant energy, and hits harder. This. Brought out. Seth Freakin Rollins. Seth said that he gets Cody's decision, he has to finish his story. Because if he doesn't. Then the otherside of Mania, turns to dark power, as. Romans leverage grows even further, this is why, he has to beat. Roman, because this is his last chance, to beat. The Bloodline, and. Dwayne. seth spoke about how he feels responsible, for the monster that he created, because Cody's not alone, and if he needs one, he could be his Shield. This. Was awesome, from history molding to form a great story, to both men delivering their words passion. This. Was flawless.

Liv Morgan vs Zoey Stark Elimination Chamber Qualifier

Liv Morgan, beat. Zoey Stark, to earn her place in the womens. Elimination Chamber Match. The in ring work was flat. and the vingnette segment, that aired beforehand was pathetic.

Jd Mcdonagh vs R Truth

Jd Mcdonagh, beat. R Truth, in a flat Match. From. Truth trying to call his friend. The Miz, to Jd getting the win, with his finisher. The Devil In I, their was two things that I took away from this. The 1st was that. R Truth is 52, yeah you heard me right, 52. This man must have been criogenetically frozen himself at some point. and the 2nd is that. Mcdonagh is a big Slipknot fan, like myself. DIY saved Truth from a beatdown, and he thought they were DX in the aftermath.

The Macafe Minute

Next came a time of celebration, and embarrassment, if you're name is Michael Cole that is, because. Pat Macafe told the world, that he is celebrating his 60th birthday. Michael Cole is 60, man i feel old.

Becky Lynch segment

I liked all of this. Lynch spoke with conviction, as she put forward her dedication, and sacrifice, to the business that she loves, it has given her family, and a life. And at the. Elimination Chamber, her 3 year old daughter, will see earn her way back to the belt that she lost. Her daughter doen't understand why daddy wants to fight Maui. Becky then had a toast to Rhea, and told her to enjoy her final days as champion. Nia Jax then came out, and played possum with Becky, and gave a razzy winning performance, by saying that she respects Becky, for being the mother that she is. but she told her that. Rhea won't make it to Mania. This brought out Mami, and the two brawled in the ring, to end the segment.

Drew Mcintyre Jackie Redmond 

Jackie Redmond, interviewed. Drew Mcintyre, and he said next week, he will face. Cody Rhodes. I really want Drews new T Shirt. Payday can't come soon enough.

LA Knight vs Ivar. Elimination Chamber Match

LA Knight, beat. Ivar, in another flat. Elimination Chamber Qualifier, with his blunt force trauma finisher.

Chelsea Green Segment

Adam Pearce, told. Chelsea Green, that if she wants to be in the womens. Elimination Chamber Match, she would have to win, the last chance battle royal next week. against. Indi Hartwell. Candace Lerae. Zoey Stark,and. Shayna Baszler. Yeah, to say that she was not happy, was an understatement.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn

As I watched this Match unfold. I was convinced that. HHH is rebooking his glory days of Black and Gold, but this isn't 2016, it's 2024, and trying to force feed fans metallica, when all they want to hear is Dua Lipa, does not work anymore, and this Match was a casualty of that type of booking, This is not. NXT Takeover Dallas, this is weekly episodic TV, with a differant formula. The Match was decent, Shinsuke won with a Chinchasa, thanks to a distraction from Drew Mcintyre. This Match, was nowhere near the quality of their encounter 8 years ago.

Overview Of Monday Night Raw

With the rd to Wrestlemania starting to take some twists and turns, it's important that WWE's TV output remains consistant, because on the evidence that I see, they are spinning many plates, with one plate revolving around a story, that needs to heed with a conclussion, and with an improper balance, It does make me wonder how this year's Mania card, is going to shape up. strap yourselves in everyone, their might be turbulance ahead.

This week's Monday Night Raw is 7/10

Intro

If the last seven days have taught me anything, it's this. Expect the unexpected. From chaos, unwavering fan support, and a bonkers press conference. The rd to Wrestlemania, is starting to look very Interesting. This is why, I love this time of year, from fantasy booking, the clear piverts, and the chaos that comes with the territotry. This week has been interesting to say the least, with the many story aspects, that will come from Thursdays press conference. Strap yourselves in everyone, because the rd to Wresrlemania just got over the first of Its Many dumps.

Replay from Las Vegas and HHH segment

The worlds attention this week, has been focused on. Las Vegas Navada. From the Superbowl press activities, to. WWE, hosting the Mania kick off press Conference, which was the mother of all swerves. It was later confimed, that. Roman Reigns, will face. Cody Rhodes, at the showcase of the immortals. Thursday was a moment in wrestling history, that I won't forget, with the promise that came from Vegas, and the cinema theatrics, that oozed out Of it's every pour. Just solidified what I have thought all along. The mistreatment of Cody Rhodes was a work. Nothing more, nothing less. HHH pretty much confirmed this, in his opening segment, he layed down the power mark, He made. Cody, and. Roman official, whilst taking shots at the peoples champ. Rocky sucks echoed throughout the arena, whilst. Cody chants took over. But the big question is, who will Seth Rollins face at the show of shows, he will face the winner of the mens Chamber Match, with qualifying Matches taking place over the next week.

Drew Mcintyre vs Aj Styles Elimination Chamber Qualifier

From Drews promo before Match, in which he took credit for Cody's achievements, him forlaying his plan for the chamber, and Mania, to. LA Knight on commentary, this was a well worked opening Match, from the solid in ring work, the good chemistry, Aj taking a water break, courtesy of. LA Knight. I had a lot of fun watching this. Drew got the win, with a claymore, thanks to. Aj, getting distracted by Knight. Ok. I'm going to say it. Can I please have more of LA Knight on commentary please. He was gold in my opinion. I liked all of this.

Sami Zayn and Randy Orton segments

Sami Zayn and Randy Orton, both had segments, in which they were a study in contrast, with one being optimistic, and the being a realist. I thought this was an interesting way to look at the main event.

Pretty deadly segment

What do you get, when you have Queen Liz as a cloud, and me spitting a load of Dr Pepper Zero, all over my TV screen, a dumb, and funny segment that's what. I loved all of this. Stupidity in wrestling forever.

Bianca Belair vs Michin Womens Elimination Chamber Qualifier

Bianca Belair, beat. Michin to advance to the womens. Elimination Chamber Match. In decent TV Match.

Bron Breakker and HHH segment

Bron Breakker, had a chat with HHH, about which show he should go to, until. Paul Heyman entered stage right. HHH told him to leave. Paul said no problem, but he will be back next week, with my Tribal Chief, and. The Rock. And just like that, the cinema continues. I feel a sequel coming on. 

Bayley segment

Bayley came out next, and had the promo of the night, she addressed the fans, after last week's act of betrayal, from the group that she built, she spoke about how. Damage Ctrl meant everything to her, making look like nothing but school playground Bullies, but she will teach Iyo a lesson at Mania, Dakota Kai came, she proclaimed her Innocence, whilst putting over Bayleys achievements, she had the look of being caught between the rock, and a hard place, Iyo Sky, and. The Kabuki Warriors came out, Dakota bails, and leaves Bayley all alone. But before the pack ascended on the ring, Dakota looked certain to turn on Bayley, as she stood their with a steelchair in her hand, but she went for her former teammates. In the aftermath all you could hear was chants of, hug it out, hug it out. I liked all of this.

DIY vs Bate and Dunne

I liked this, it was solid, quickpaced, and well worked. Bate, and. Dunne, got the win, when. Pete Dunne smashed Tomasso Ciampa, with his bitter end finisher. They will now face. The Judgement Day, at. Elimination Chamber.

Byron Saxton and Dominik Mysterio segment

Byron Saxton interviewed the Human Oven backstage, when who should step in. Kevin Owens, the two will face each other on Raw this Monday, in an. Elimination Chamber qualifier. R Truth then showed up, wondering were Tom and Nik have gone, he had a bit of funny patter with Kevin, which made me laugh.

Logan Paul segment

Everyone's favourite manchild. Logan Paul, then did his best crying man act, when asking Nick Aldis, who is the next contender for his. United States Championship, Aldis, then took pleasure in telling him, that his opponent, and him, have a history, he will face. The Miz. That went down like a lead balloon.

Randy Orton vs Sami Zayn. Elimination Chamber qualifier

I liked this main event, from the decent level of physicality, the solid in ring work, to. Randy getting the win with an RKO. Was this the TV Match of the year, no. But did it leave me feeling very sports entertained, yes, because that's what It's all about.

Aew Collision

Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli vs Star Jnr and Espinge

I didn't like this. The Match felt flat from the start, the fans felt cold, even though the action was good. I just couldn't get Into it. It was a slow burn, that eventually turned into something watchable. Moxley battered Star Jnr with elbows, and then putting him In an armbar for the win. Mox then took to the mic, and cut a promo, putting the tag team division on notice, in the only way Jon could. Step up, or get stepped on, and then as if by magic. Ftr came out, the stair down was epic. A fight broke out, complete with security, and referee seperations. In the words of Guy Fieri, that's money.

Daniel Garcia vs Shane Taylor

Daniel Garcia, beat. Shane Taylor In a solid TV Match, from the decent physicality, and. Garcia winning by a knee bar submission. This was good stuff.

Lexi Nair Interviews Eddie Kingston

Lexi Nair interviewed Eddie Kingston, and oh my god, what came next screamed, yes please. He gave his thoughts on. The Young Bucks. And then challenged Bryan Danielson, to a Match at Revolution, but there is a stipulation involved. If he wins. Danielson would have to shake his hand. Oh my f****** days. Give me this Match. Aew take my £19.99 I don't need it.

Brian Cage vs The Outrunners

Brian Cage, beat the two men with the best names in wrestling. Turbo Floyd, and. Truth Magnum in a squash Match. Turbo Floyd, and. Truth Magnums names sound like an advert for contraception. Also a Mascot for the Vegas Nights, got decked by Cage, after he did the Nana dance. Hook came out to make the save.

Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii segment

Roderick Strong Interrupted Tomohiro Ishii's Interview with Renee Paquette. This forshadowed what was to come later, and also. Roderick Strong vs Ishii 2. at a later date. Yes please.

Tony Schiavone Interviews Adam Copeland

Tony Schiavone interviewed Adam Copeland, he spoke about how Is now 3rd in the rankings, he gave his thoughts on. Matthew, and. Nicolas Jackson, and what they did to. Darby, and. Stokeley Hathaway segment

Ok, now don't get me wrong. I love. Kris Statlander, and,Willow Nightingale. Skye Blue, and. Julia Hart, and all the promise that has, but I have one thing on my wish list. Can I please have some more Stokeley Hathaway on my TV please, and one other thing, what's wrong with Evanescence. Everybody's Fool Is an absolute banger. I'm feeling hungry, I think I'm going to cook myself a lies pizza.

Brody King vs Mark Briscoe

I loved this Match, from the excellent pace It was worked at, to the solid in ring work. From Marks chair tope, to him getting battered into the ring post, on two occassions, both men having a slap contest. And Mark getting launched through a table, after a froggy bow attempt. thanks to that jezzabelle Julia Hart causing a distraction. Brody hit Mark with a gonzo bomb for the win. Julia stabbed Briscoe in the head, and. Brody opened him up. I like a niece bit of the old claret, don't you.

Deonna Purrazzo vs Kiera Hogan

Deonna Purrazzo, beat. Kiera Hogan, in a flat TV Match, that offered up nothing.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Queen Aminata

 I had a lot of fun watching this, even though by the sounds of things, the fans didn't. Storm got the won, and will debut her new film on Dynamite this Wednesday. It's called. Wet Ink.

Orange Cassidy vs Tomohiro Ishii Aew International Championship

If I had one word to describe this Match it would be. War, because this was the physical embodiment of the word, from start to finish. Both mens styles, made for a fantastic, chaotic Match. As the near falls started to flow, both men proceeded to beat the s*** out of each other, Cassidy hitting Ishii with a beachbreak, for a close near fall was the Matches high point. Cassidy then got the win, with a snug roll up. This. Was brilliant.

Overview of the weekend

From Smackdown pressenting it's own version of cinema, to the action ranging from good to great, on both shows. This weekends have been a good distraction to life.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a 7/10.

And Aew Collision is an 8/10.

Aew Dynamite Review 8.2.2024 

Intro

With the past few weeks acting as a horrific reminder, of how this industry can be a cesspool, of vile Incidents and people. I'm starting to look forward to the future, with a major press conference, taking place in Las Vegas later today, which could have major Mania Implications, to. Aew keeping their train tracks clean, on route to Revolution, and a debut that could be a real Mone Maker. The next few weeks are going to be very Interesting.

Hangman Adam Page vs Swerve Strickland 3

If I could describe this Match. It would be, Perfect. This. Was an excellent exhibition of a what an opening Match should be, It had solid drama, moulded In with solid In ring work, and storytelling, from. Hangman missing a moonsault, that led into a Swerve flatliner. Swerve performing an over the top moonsault, that looked awesome, their chemistry was off the walls excellent. Both men dug down deep Into their arsenals of moves, in order to create something special, their energetic bursts, sold the story of the Match perfectly. from collapsing tables, the multiple near falls. Hangman giving Swerve, a ddt on the barricade, to. Swerve proving that imitation is the best form of flattery, by doing his buckshot lariot. Prince Nana using dance as a motivation, to. swerve giving. Hangman a deadeye through a table, but just as Swerve tried to get the pin. before it hit 3, the claxon sounded, the Match was a draw. The fans could not believe It, and neither could Swerve, he asked Hangman for 5 more minutes, but he declined, because. Swerve proved to him right, the only way he could beat Hangman, was with the help of his. Mogul Embassy. Hangman left the ring and started to head the ramp, when. Tony Schiavone got the word from Tony Khan, that their will be a 3 way Match at the PPV, for the. World Heavyweight Championship. Samoa Joe, vs. Swerve Strickland, vs. Hangmang Adam Page. Joe gave us his thoughts on this afterwards, and, well, lets just put It this way, I would not want to be a company exectutive right now.

Timeless Toni Storm vs Red Velvet

I liked this. I didn't love it, but for what it was, it was good, both women had solid back and forth chemistry, and physicality. Storm won by using Deonna Purrazzos submission hold. Purrazzo who was on commentary, had a face to face with Storm afterwards, Purrazzo then got a telling off from Luther.

Best Friends Renee Paquette saegment

Renee Paquette interviewed The Best Friends. The Best Friends were without Chuck Taylor, was is out due to Injury. Orange Cassidy will Ishii on Collision, and. The Best Friends will face. The Undisputed Kingdom, on. Rampage, Said group would later be seen, attacking Chuck, after his medical check up.

Heniercho. Mascarado, and. Volarado Jnr vs The Bcc

I loved all of his. It felt like a perfect battle of styles, Mexican freestyle Lucha Libre, and, American, and. European strong style, which perfectly complimented each other with ease. The Bcc got the win, and the CMLL lads that were in the crowd, came out, and were fended off by team Aew, great Match. It's just a shame that the stand off, was pathetic.

Tony Khans big announcement

Tony Khan had another big announcement, in 5 weeks time on the 13th of March. Aew Dynamite will be Big Business. ( literally ) Tony Promised big things, because this evening will change the entire pro wrestling industry. But hang on a minute, that advertisement has a load of spelling mistakes, the there is two s's in the word Boston, because the show will come the TD Gardens, and there $ signs. yes yes y'all, so fresh y'all. Big P's blog is so fresh y'all. Ticketmaster has a lot to answer for.

Chris Jericho vs Konosuke Takeshista

This Match had Its moments, from Sammy Guevara hitting. Powerhouse Hobbs, with a chair and a cutter, and the physicality was on point, but here's my gripe, don't get me wrong. This wasn't a bad Match. It's the fact that I can't get into anything Chris Jericho does, and it's got nothing to do with the dangerous allegations, surrounding his name. It's because his act feels like a biscuit, that has been left in the tin for two long. Stale. Takeshista got the win by using Chris's walls finisher. Thanks to damn it Don, and his screwdriver.

Sting and Darby Allin vs Big Bill and Ricky Starks Aew Tag Team Championship Texas Tornedo Match

Darby Allin, and. Sting became the new Aew World Tag Team Champions, by beating. Ricky Starks, and. Big Bill. The Match was a lot of fun, from. Stings family sitting at ringside, both teams fighting through the crowd, Darby taking a nasty looking sidewalk slam. Starks, and. Sting having a move battle. Darby and Bill, took a nasty bump through a table, from the ring apron. and. Sting, proving that age Is number by leaping off of an entrance way, onto 3 bodies. Sting got the win with a Scorpion Deathlock.  I understand they had to work around stings physical limitations, but this was a lot of fun. But in the aftermath. Sting. Darby, and stings kids were attacked by. The Young Bucks. Matthew, and. Nicholas Jackson, Darby was busted open, and the sight of his blood, on their white suits, was a visual treat, causing them to give me real. American Psycho Patrick Bateman vibes. This. Was perfect.

Overview Of Aew Dynamite

I loved last nights Dynamite. I have said this before. Aew is figuring out how to sort Its house, in order to bring back lapsed fans, and on the evidence of tonights show, they are firmly on there way.

 Smackdown Review 3.2.2024

Intro

With the shame of the past 7 days, still leaving a nasty taste in my mouth, and the news surrounding it has not seemed to slow down. From the art of deflecting everything, to one of the accused, playing the victim card. late on Thursday night, news came to light that. Jon Laurinaitis, claimed, via his lawyer, claiming that he was also a victim of Vince Mcmahon, this was a complete deflection of blame, and in my opinion, shameful behavior. I have said, all I need to say on this topic. I think both mens actions are reprohensible, disgusting, and unhuman. Laurinatis is clearly trying to give himself angelic eyes, in the public viewpoint. And with many people having their say, with the looming threat of the FBI, hanging over WWE. I do feel, things are going to get a lot worse, before they get better.

The Bloodline. Cody Rhodes, and. Damage Ctrl Show up

The show kicked off with. The Bloodline. Cody Rhodes, and. Damage Ctrl, were seen showing up to the arena.

Logan Paul Segment and Kevin Owens vs Austin Theory

Logan Paul came out first, to cut a promo on. Kevin Owens. Logan had a lot of fun, Insulting the likes of. Seth Rollins, and. Cm Punk, whilst putting himself as the beast in the east, because. Kevin brought In him. Kevin Owens came out, and the pair had a fantastic promo dual, that would leave, a nasty taste in your mouth If you like, that god awful drink Prime. Kevin called Logan an unbearable Idiot, because his victory at the rumble, was a moral one, that was better than a knockout. Kevin shouted out the, for doing his job. Logan told KO, that the brass knucks were a set up, and he fell for It, calling him a dummy ( yeeeeaaaah ). Austin Theory vs Kevin followed, and let me tell you, It was flat. The Match failed to get oyt of 1st gear, Kevin won with the help of those Knucks. The Promo segment was great, but the Match, failed to land.

Tiffany Stratton debuts on the blue brand

Tiffany Stratton made her debut on smackdown, by facing up to. Naomi. Bianca Belair. Shotzi, and. Michin. Tiffany slapped Michin, setting up a match for later In the night, In which Tiffany would go on to win. Oh yes people. Tiffy time is here, and she isn't going anywhere.

Pretty Deadly vs The Lwo, Legardo Del fantasma and Dunne and Bate

Pete Dunne, and. Tyler Bate, beat. The Lwo, Legardo Del Fantasma, and Pretty Deadly, and a fun. Fatal 4 way Match, that had me thinking, it is a beard, is it a plain, no. It's a flying Jaquin Wilde, that spot genuinely popped me, because, that man went flying.

Bayley makes her choice

From overhearing Damage Ctrl's trashtalk about her, to her excellent promo, all of this was filmed to perfection, and was performed with heart, Bayleys' promo echoed like the theme from Friends, because she thought that Damage Ctrl, would be there for her. This. Is how you perform a promo, whilst wearing your heart on your sleeve, Iyo, and. The Kabuki Warriors, laughed behind Bayley's back, like schoolyard bullies, Bayley spoke about what Mania means to her, from moments, to magic, she then flipped the script, and spoke to Iyo In her native tongue. Japanese. She then called out sky, as her challenger at Mania. The rest of Damage Ctrl then turned on Bayley. Kairi lade In some kicks that were reminiscent, to the opening 10 minutes of. A Clockwork Orange, but. Bayley hit them back, with a led pipe. I loved this segment, to me, this great. Rhea Ripley watched from a dodgy angle backstage.

Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, and. The Final testement

Ok. I'm going to be honset, their is no point in me talking about this Match, because. It was f****** awful. Bfab has joined Bobby and his mates, I don't care.

General Managers segment

Both the. Raw, and. Smackdown, were both seen trying to sign Bron Breakker. Am I the only person, who thinks that this screams. Bragging Rights.

That Segment

Nick Aldis stood over the proceedings. Roman came out first, as  the fans chanted for Cody. He asked them to acknowledge him. He forlayed what happened on Raw this past week, completely belittling seth's belt, and mocking him. Roman put over his dominance, from his pay, to the days that he works. Roman said that he won't beg Cody for a Match, because It's better to be No1, than No2. Cody came out, he tells The rest of. The Bloodline to leave the ring, so that he and Roman could talk. Cody stated that he wants Romans belt, from the lts It reprosents, to the passion, that seeps through Cody's being. He went over Romans old ground, that he runs WWE, whilst stating that he Is coming for Romans belt, and that he Is going to take everything away from him. He then said that he has taken advice, from a special council, and that his Match against Roman at Mania, is off the cards. And at this point the ground of the world, started to burn, and eventially would engulf into flames, that would burn on a global scale, because out came. The Rock. This has pissed off fans globally. And I can understand why, but. Here's my opinion. It's a work. It's a complete swerve. I think WWE will do what is right, and please fans, but at what cost?

Aew Dynamite Review 1.2.2024

Intro

With Revolution just a month away at the time of writing. I have to say. I'm looking forward to the PPV, from Stings last Match. Orange Cassidy vs Roderick strong, the obvious crowning of Swerve Strickland, to a potential Mone Maker. Aew Revolution 2024 Is set to be a stomper of a show, and I can't wait to see It.

Jon Moxley vs Jeff Hardy

I liked this for an opener. from the Match having a nice flow to It, the in ring work, being solid as always, to. Mox having some Mcgyver style fun, with a pen, and. Jeffs ear. Mox got the win with a rear naked choke, from a swantomb Bomb fail. Mox tried to show Jeff some class, in the aftermath, but Jeff flipped him off. Good stuff for an opening Match.

Dealers Choice Hangman Adam Page vs Toa Liona

Next was the first our Dealers Choice Matches, when. Hangman Adam Page faced. Swerve Stricklands choice, Toa Lioni. The Match had decent physicality, and good story balances. Both man gave a good showing for themselves, but, it was. Hangman, who came away with the win, after both man contested In the battle of the moonsaults, Hangman won by roll up.

The Young Bucks segment

The Young Bucks were then seen showing up to the arena, In footage shot earlier In the day. I have to agree with them. Assistants are stupid.

Wardlow vs Kommander

Wardlow beat Kommander, in a suprisingly competitive Match. In the aftermath. Roderick Strong the took the mic, and told Kommander, that he had made a mistake in facing them, and just as he, and. Taven and. Bennett, were about beat him down, out came. The best friends, to make the save. Cassidy and Strong had a minor face off, but. Strong wanted no part of It. for what It was, this was decent. And can I have more of Adam Cole on commentary please.

Sting and Darby Allin Ricky Starks and Big Bill sit down segment

Sting, and his son. Darby Allin, then had a sit down, with. Ricky Starks, and. Big Bill, I liked all of this, because It has helped push the tempo, before next weeks title Match. The longterm storytelling thread shown here was flawless, and it made perfect sense, the dual that both teams had here was great. Later on. Darby was being Interviewed by. Renee Paqutte, when out from stage left. The Young Bucks appeared. They accused Darby of Ignoring them, they put over their admiration for , and told him that when his mentor. Sting is gone, he should team with them, this sets up the aftermath of Revolution perfectly.

Chris Jericho vs Kyle Fletcher

I wasn't into this Match, parts of it felt sluggish, predictable, and uninteresting, and at points it felt like Aew, were playing in crowd noise, to eliminate any negativity towards Jericho, and if that's the case, then don't put him on TV, Jericho got the win with a judas effect. Konosuke Takeshista then came out, and to survey Chris and the little damage, that had been done.

Bang Bang Scissor Gang segment

This filled my with a lot of joy, from Cardboard Characters, Colton trying to nick his dads catchphrase, to the immense scissoring, I loved this, and to think it came to us, by orders of the Peaky, no wait sorry. The Bang Bang Scissor Gang.

Deonna Purrazzo vs Taya Valkarye

This was a major disapointment, which is a shame featuring the talent that was involved, but what did save it, was. Timeless Toni Storm on commentary, her Interactions with the Taz. Excalibur, and. Tony Schiavone, had me laughing. Deonna won by submission. This to me is yet another piece of bad booking, on. Aew's part towards it's womens division.

Swerve Strickland vs Rob Van Dam

I loved all of this, from Match flowing like water, the excellent physicality being performed at a high level, because RVD loves a bit of the old wacky tobacky, Swerve taking a nasty table bump, which was due to. Hangman, announcing the stiupulation, a hardcore Match, which made me feel like I was. Garth Elgart from Wayne's World, good call. RVD took a nasty unprotected chair shot to the face, after a failed 5star frogsplash. Which allowed Swerve to get the win, with a stomp from the top rope, In the aftermath. Hangman Adam Page came out, he and swerve had a phenomanal promo dual, that lead to the announcement, that next week, It will be Swerve and Hangman 3, and the winner will face Samoa Joe at Revolution, for the Aew World Heavyweight Championship. Oh s*** that's exciting.

Overview Of Aew Dynamite

With storylines now starting to tick along nicely, leading Into the PPV. I'm starting to get the feeling that Aew, are figuring out how to get back on track again. Tony Khan has promised a big year, for his little promotion that can, and even though this wasn't the best episode of weekly TV. I do feel there on the right track.

This weeks Dynamite is a strong 7/10.
