My Top 5 Times AEW Made me Laugh Out Loud.

Warning.

Just giving you guys a heads up, i'm going to be talking about Chris Jericho Segments, because some of them, from way back when, made me piss myself, with laughter.

Intro.

Laughter is the key to the heart in my eyes, and in wrestling. I can't stress how important that is. For example here are my Top 5 Times AEW Made Me Want To Piss Myself Laughing.

5. Wardlow Takes 10 Lashings From MJF.

I don't know why this made me laugh so much but it did. I love this segment. It was like that scene in Starship Troopers, but with no blood.

4. The Brochatchos.

MJF, and. Adam Cole were the bromance story of summer 2023. And it also made me cry laughing, from beating a load of kids playing Dodgeball, to a Captain Insano wearing a rubber dingy. And who could forget Matt Taven singing Neck Strong. Agh yes, good times.

3. The Inner Circle And The Pinnacle Go To Vegas.

I loved this. It was a better version of The Hangover, but with wrestlers, and a baby version of Hornswoggle.

2. I Bought A Ticket And Jake Hagers Hat.

The best way to describe Chris Jericho's early career in AEW, well. I can do that in four words. I bought a ticket, and I also LOVE JAKE HAGERS HAT.

1 Sammy Guevara Gets Suplexed Across A Football Field.

The 1st Stadium Stampede Match In AEW offered some great moments, like Chris Jericho, giving the Jacksonville Jaguars maskot a Judas effect. Hangman Adam Page, and. Jake Hager, having a bar fight. The many faces of Matt Hardy, and then there was this gem. Sammy Guevara getting suplexed across an American Football Field, and then got hit by a horse. My laughing just thinking about it.

5 More TV Shows That Shaped My Wrestling Fandom.

Intro.

TV is a magic source, and when I started to teach myself to write. I looked at things from my childhood. And the main thing that acted as a main influence was television. Shows like South Park, and. The Simpsons taught me to have an attitude, whilst other shows like Party Of Five, showed me that togetherness, wasn't a lost art, and as the years have gone on, my tastes have changed, when science Fiction, and. Horror entered the scene, alongside Comic books. What i'm trying to say is this. Influences come in all shapes and sizes.

5 South Park.

This. Is one of my favourite TV shows ever. The writing is outright insane, and that's why I still watch it now.

4 Breaking Bad.

This. Is an absolute tour da force, in franetic storytelling. This show has been a massive influence on my writing.

3 The Walking Dead.

As a massive horror fan, this show is pivotal viewing, and as a fan of good writing in TV shows. This, to me, stands as the benchmark in showcasing great writing, and superb acting. How does this counteract with wrestling. Well, whenever you get a new stable, they are normally strangers, coming together for one common good, or evil. This somes up The walking Dead perfectly.

2 Saved By The Bell.

Back when I was a kid. I loved this show, and even though elements of this show wouldn't work today, I do feel that humour in and around the time of the early 2000's was important, and wrestling companies would try to capitalise on young kids getting into all kinds of entertainment, to the point that cast members of certain shows would appear at ringside, for instance Dustin Diamond appeared at Wrestlemania 16. Saved By The Bell is a reminder of a simpler time, and a show that made me want to look into creating my own TV show.

1 Party Of Five.

Living here in the UK, in the early nineties. Channel 4 was a haven for TV shows that came from across the pond. My So Called Life. The Cosby Show. Boy Meets world, and. The Wonder Years, with the latter being a massive influence on me. Party Of Five was over a space of six seasons, a well written TV show, that when you look back at it properly. Wrestling has learnt some lessons from this show, but the main important one is this, togetherness is the key. I've always loved this show, because of how the family dynamic gets explored. It's a reminder, that life can be cruel, but those around you can, help dig you out of any situation.

My Top 5 Wrestling Storylines.

Intro.

It's secret that I love Pro wrestling. It's majesty in the way performers tell stories that take thousands in arena's, and millions watching at home on a journey, these journeys can emotional, and uplifting, and some can hold you in there grasp, for half a decade.

5 HHH vs Cactus Jack.

Agh yes. HHH vs Cactus, my twelve year old self is very happy. I love this time period in WWE.

4 The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin.

This. Was an intertwining storyline, that lasted for nearly four years. I love this time period in WWE.

3 MJF vs Cm Punk.

How do I talk about one of the best Wrestling storylines to ever grace TV screens, well turns out, I can't, because It's perfect.

2 Hangman Adam Page vs Kenny Omega.

This. Is one of the best examples, of how Wrestling can provoke uncharted emotions, when you least expect it. Even though Pandemic era wrestling isn't a time that I don't want to go back to, there was some great moments, and the rivalry between Hangman Adam Page, and. Kenny Omega, was a reminder, that everything was going to be ok.

1 The Bloodline Saga.

Were do I begin with this storyline. It's easily the story that WWE has ever told. I have loved this story from the moment it started.

My Top 5 PPV Soundtracks.

Intro.

Music is the beating heart in the world of entertainment, and in the world of Pro Wrestling, it's really no differant. From artists performing at shows, to certain songs soundtracking perfect moments. Music is one of my main loves in life, alongside Pro wrestling. So here are some of my favourite times music has soundtracked Pro Wrestling.

5 War Machine. ACDC Wrestlemania 25.

Arguably. This. Is one of the weakest Mania's on record, Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels aside. It had a great Soundtrack, that was provided by ACDC, and The disaster that was HHH vs Randy Orton, was soundtracked perfectly by this song, and as a big fan of ACDC. This. Is an underrated gem, that worked well in this build up.

4 Liar. Jelly Roll.

One of my Albums of the year is Beautifully Broken by Jelly Roll, It has uncharted emotion echoing from the first track Winning Streak, to the flawless. Higher Than Heaven, but it was his song Liar, that he performed at Summerslam this year, that has put him on this list. The live performance was accompanied by highlights of the rivalries, that helped build the PPV, but that Chokeslam, that's a no go, in my opinion.

3 Sinner. Drowning Pool.

Back in late 2001, the Nu Metal trends were changing to the point of nonexistancy, but, that didn't stop the WWE using this song to hype the Triple Threat Match, between. The Rock. Stone Cold Steve Austin, and. Kurt Angle, This. Was perfect, and befitting for the time.

2 Troubador. George Straight.

This song soundtracked the final moments of The Undertakers Last Ride Docu Series, at it was a perfect way to say goodbye to a legend. I'll be an old Troubador when i'm gone, those words, just hit differant, in my opinion.

1 Now That Were Dead. Metallica, and. My Way. Limp Bizkit.

I couldn't decide between these two, so I placed them both in the top spot. WWE have used Metallica's Now That Were Dead on two occassions, as a way to say goodbye to The Undertaker, whilst My Way, by. Limp Bizkit, was the main soundtrack to The Rock, and. Stone Cold Steve Austin's Wrestlemania 17 hype Video, both of these entries are perfect examples of how music can enhance video promotions.

My Top 5 Controversial Wrestling Moments To Ever Air In The UK.

Intro.

Over the years I have been asking myself, just what are the most controversial Wrestling moments to ever air, or in some cases, not air in my country of England, my god their have been plenty over the years. So I thought it was a good time, to go back and take a look at these moments.

5 Mae Young Royal Rumble 2000

I'm not going to go into too much detail here, because I don't want to pay for anyones therapy, but this pissed off Channel 4 here in the UK, and also my mum, who walked with the washing, as this played out.

4 Mohammed Hassan.

Wrestling, when it comes to dealing with sensitive topics, wretling deals with them, with the subtlety of a sledgehammer, and this was no differant. he debuted in and around the same time of when the London Bombings happened, and Sky here in the UK were not happy, which is highly understandable.

 3 WCW In 1999.

From Ric Flair in a mental home, to Oklahoma. I'm not going to say it. Making fun of someone, for having a disabilty, is just low. I don't think that the UK media picked up on this at the time, but thanks to the WWE Network, there both here, for all to see.

2 Edge Torments Vicki Guerro.

This. Was heavily edited here in the UK, and given the fact at the time when this aired. Domestic Violence cases had sky rocketed, this hasn't aged well, at all.

1 Trish Barks Like A Dog.

Some people wouls say that this was the attitude era, but to me this is no excuse, because it should never have conceived in the first place. It showed the narrative of power, at it's full exposure, and it was horrible to see. These attitudes are never welcome, and shouldn't have been welcomed then. Sky over here refused to air the offending footage, and it was the right thing to do. Given the fact that Domestic Violence cases at this point had risen, and showed no sign of slowing down. Humiliation isn't funny, it's actually desperate, and unwanted.

Monday Night Raw Review 5.11.2024.

Intro.

WWE have managed, over the past couple of years, to engage fan reception, in other world markets. Here In the UK. The WWE has always had a solid fanbase, that ranges, from. Families. Die hards, and, people like me, who are lifelong fans. If you told me when I was nine year old, that the product, that in the year of 1996, when the WWF was being run into a creative state of flux, that nearly 30 years, would be heading a global renaiscance, that is captivating the world, one country at a time, is something that needs to be marvelled at. I get that the Saudi deal is controversial, and I get the reasons why, but it doesn't change the fact that Globalisation, is the norm as the endeavour deal is now part of every fans, day to day fandom.

Superstars Showing Up.

The Judgement Day. Damien Priest. Sheamus, and. Seth Rollins, were all seen showing to the arena In Riyadh.

Liv Morgan Segment.

The Mulletchaser, came out to welcome us to Monday Night Mullet, she told us that thr revenge tour is over, and her world tour has just begun, she was flanked by. Raquel Rodriguez, and. The Human Oven. Liv gloated over the fact that she's the Crown Jewell Champion, having knocked off Nia Jax, and leaving Rhea Ripley in a state. The Human Oven, got booed out of the arena. Jade Cargill, and. Bianca Belair came out. The Mulletchaser, put the seperation thread in Jades head, whilst Bianca laid out a challenge, because their not the only ones that won gold on Saturday. Adam Pearce comes out, acting like a man who's lost his will to live, and said that, tonight there will be a Battle Royal, and the winner will face Liv for her Championship, at a later date. And that Battle Royal starts right now. I didn't like this. I'm not a fan of TV Battle Royals. They always feel a bit flat, and this was no differant. Iyo Sky will face the Mulletchaser, at a date to be confirmed. I think this is the direction for Survivor Series. I didn't like this.

The New Day Segment.

Kofi looked at Xavier saying what. After Xavier played the blame game after last week. Later on, they lost to the War Raiders, in a fun story built Tag Team Match.

The Miz Segment.

Sing it with me now. Well I don't know why The Miz came here tonight, he had a feeling that something ain't right, he's so scared that Bo is going to knock off of his chair, and he's wondering how he's going to get down the stairs. Wyatts to left of him Jokers to the right. Miz has been kidnapped on TV. I liked this.

Goldbergs Retirement announcement

Goldberg is retiring next year, oh well. Who Cares. As you can tell. I'm not a fan of Big Billy Boy.

The Bloodline Segment.

This. Was, by far the best thing on the show, by a mile. Sami Zayn came out, and spoke to the fans in his native Arabic tongue, and seeing, and hearing the response from the fans upon Sami's arrival, was something special. He couldn't get a word of English out, be fore he was interrupted by Jey Uso, and he wasn't himself, from arrival. He asked Sami, did he kick Roman accidentally. Jimmy Uso came out, and went to work on putting the sead of doubt in his brothers mind. Sami calls Jimmy a hypocrite, whilst playing back their history, saying that he makes bad decisions. The honesty, and disfunctional family dynamics, were played out to perfection. Jey welcomes Sami back into the fold, asking him to come to Smackdown this week, to sort this out, as a family. Jimmy said that he isn't family. Sami walked up the ramp, looking dispondant. I loved this segment.

Dragon Lee vs Chad Gable.

Dragon Lee, beat. Chad Gable, in a fun TV Match, thanks to the assistance of Rey Mysterio, after Ivy Nile attacked Zelina Vega.

Gunther Segment.

Gunther gave his thoughts on the 4 way main event. I don't think he cares that much.

Fatal 4 Way Main Event.

Damien Priest, beat. The Human Oven. Sheamus, and. Seth Rollins, in a fun TV Main Event. The physicality, and, chemistry, was solid, and. Bronson putting Seth Rollins through the announcers table, and giving. Priest a tsunami. I thought this was a fun Main Event. I liked all of this. He will face Gunther at a later date.

Overview Of Monday Night Raw.

I don't know what to think about this weeks Monday Night Raw. It felt, very much like a mix-bag, that offered me nothing, yet I was getting the full flavour of the sweets I was eating.

This weeks Monday Night Raw, is a solid 6/10.

My Top 5 Funniest moments In Wrestling.

Intro.

Ok guys, were going to keep it light hearted today, because i'm thinking about My Top 5 Times, that wrestling nearly made me want to piss myself with laughter. So I hope you've brought your laughing gear, because I know I have.

5 The Miz And Morrison Annoy Braun Strowman Through Song.

I loved this at the time, back in 2020, when the world was scrambling for normalcy, when the pandemic wreaked havoc in our daily lives. This gem came along. With great lyrics like this. Hey hey ho ho. The Universal Champion needs to go, because Braun has wet the bed since he was six years old. I know what your all thinking. Patrick your a 37 year old man child aren't you, and to that I say. Yes.

4 Not Feeling Ucy.

God Bless you Sami Zayn. Watching all of The Bloodline corpse, after these words were uttered in November 2022, was pure gold.

3 Vince Mcmahon Dancing.

Agh yes, the 1980's, this time period did give some gems, from. The Goonies, to the birth of Thrash Metal, but nothing was more horrorfying, than this awful human being dancing, whilst wrestlers acted as his backing band, however when DX ripped into him, during the Summer of 2006. I have to admit that I laughed my ass off.

2 Vince Mcmahon Getting A Hospital Drip shoved Up His Ass.

WWF in 1998. I think this moment speaks for itself. No words needed here folks.

1 Anything David Flair Did In 1999 WCW.

Just a quick question, Who Remembers David Flair? No answers. I'm not suprised, I mean he was so bad at wrestling, to the point that it was funny.
