 My Top 5 Bloodline Moments.

Intro.

Were do I start with this long lasting arc, that has catapoulted WWE back into the mainstream, well here are top 5 moments.

5 Which One Are You.

Before the foundations were laid out. Jey Uso, won a number contenders Match to face his cousin at the 2020 Night Of Champions PLE. The storyline that came alongside with this, echoed Romans new arc, as The Tribal Chief, that behind the scenes was being fronted by Paul Heyman. This Moment centred around a great Promo Dual that Roman had with his younger cousin Jey, as the for shadowing for what was to come, started to become a reality. Jey sounded emotional on this night. As everyone knows his brother, but. Which one was he, this added a core of reality, to this already great Friday Night Smackdown segment.

4 The Trial Of Sami Zayn.

This. Is one of the best segments to ever air on Monday Night Raw, you need to see this.

3 Honourary Uce.

Sami Zayn is made an honourary Uce. This segment made me feel very Ucey.

2 Sami's Betrayal.

The Royal Rumble 2023, started off a continuation pattern in HHH's booking. In the last days of. He Who Shall Not Be Named, awful booking decisions this arc was created, and then 2022 happened. Vince was out, and his form of creativity went with him. Smaller cards, with a sharper creative edge, came in its place, all being helmed by Paul HHH Levesque. Sami escaping the clutches of Romans grooming, was nothing short of gripping, as this started of a four month storythread, that would see Zayn and Kevin Owens overthrow The Uso's, at Wrestlemania 39, to become WWE Universal Tag Team Champions. KO was Sami's light, and it was great to see.

1 The Rocks Rock Concert.

This. Is my favourite Bloodline moment, and all I have to say is, you're welcome.

  WWE Friday Night Smackdown Review.

Intro.

This Past Friday morning. I was wearing all black, as we got the announcement, that the WWE Network is closing down, and most of the content will be going to Netflix, alongside the with weekly TV Shows, and the PLE's. I think this makes a lot of sense. WWE is going to become way more accessible, in more countries. Global expansion is the name of the game, and at the minute WWE are owning it.

Temu Bloodline.

Solo and his gaggle of bastatd came out to kick start the show, he said that he, and his crew, are ready to dominate at Wargames, because Roman isn't, because he's running late, and hasn't arrived at the arena. Solo said, that when Roman turns up, he wants to meet him in the centre of the ring, so he can hear the terms of surrender from Solo. This. Was an excellent through episode storythread, that had me hooked throughout the two hour durration. Roman, and, the og Bloodline were seen backstage later, trying to figure out what to do.

Bianca Belair vs Chelsea Green vs Blair Davenport United States Championship Tournament.

I liked this. The Match flowed nicely, the physicality was great, the chemistry was solid, and the near-falls fell into place nicely, even though Jade getting planted on the windshield of a car, causing Bianca to leave the match, made for an unpredictable element. It allowed Chelsea, and. Blair to shine, and in my opinion. they stole the match, with an excellent exchanges, that wouldn't look out of place on a PLE. Chelsea, got the win, and advances in the tournament.

LA Knight vs Santos Escobar United States Championship.

I didn't like this. The Match felt clunky, and using Neo Nakamura, in the same heel character as last year, to me, is a waste of time. Knight retained, this was, what it was.

Street Profits. Motorcity Machine Gunns, and Johnny Gargano Segment.

Johnny Gargano, then played peacemaker, when. The Motorcity Machine Gunns, had a chane encounter with The Street Profits. Montez Ford, later on beat. Tomasso Ciampa, in a decent TV Match.

Cody Rhodes And Kevin Owens Segment.

I liked this. Cody was given the walk through treatment, and this built into a great segment. Cody called out KO, and he came out through the fans. Both men had a fantastic promo dual, that was centred around, KO's self centred nature, that has caused him to turn his back on his friends, from dangerous actions, that took out Randy Orton, to history with Roman's crew, all KO did was complain, which pissed off Cody, who then explained his reasons for teaming with Roman, saying it was the best thing to do, and that the only thing that's holding KO down is KO, from the shades of Berlin, a rematch is almost certain. Cody told KO to pick a time, and he'll be there, but. KO refused, this, and said that the Match will happen when he says, because he hates Cody. Cody then flipped the script, and said that KO hates KO. All of this was well put together. Carmelo Hayes then wound Cody up in the aftermath.

Bayley And Naomi vs Candice Lerae And Tiffany Stratton.

This. Was. A waste of time. The Match was thrown out, after Nia Jax, got involved. Beforehand, the Match was a mess, and failed to get up off the ground. Iyo Sky, came out to make the save, but she got decked by The Mulletchaser, and. Raquel Rodriguez, this caused Rhea Ripley to come out, to end this train. I hated this. It was far to predictable.

Bloodlines Come Together.

All of this, was excellent. The Temu Bloodline, were out first, and Solo took to the mic. He spoke about the love he has for his own, and all they have to do is surrender to Solo, and they can run this town, for decades to come. Roman didn't need to say a word because out stepped Paul Heyman, for the first time in over 4 months, and said that the numbers not adding up didn't make sense, because the Wargames Match, it won't be 4 on 5, it will be 5 on 5, and he then pointed to the stage, and all you could hear, was that familiar sounding guitar crank, and out walked Cm Punk. A fight broke out. Tama. Jakub, and. Tonga got taken out by. Jimmy. Jey, and. Samy. Punk and Roman, then had a go at Solo, and Jakub, and then had a stairdown themselves to end the broadcast. Wargames just switched up another gear, and I love it.

Overview Of WWE Frday Night Smackdown.

I enjoyed large parts of this broadcast. Cody, and. KO, had a barnstormer of a promo segment. The ladies Tournament Match was solid. Montez Ford, and Tomasso Ciampa, had a good showing, whilst The Bloodline stole the show.

This Weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a decent 8/10.

Why I Love Linkin Park And How They Helped Shape My Love Of Wrestling.

Intro.

It's no secret, that I'm a massive wrestling fan, but, most of you may not know, I'm also heavily into music. I'm not a musician, but I do feel that Music has shaped, how my life has turned out, and has helped me when I needed it most in my life. One of my biggest influences is Linkin Park, and as I was getting into them, my love for wrestling was evolving. I never had it easy when it came to my school life, but I knew that in the end. It didn't even matter, because, when things got bad, they saved my life, and here's how.

13 year old me.

If you could go back in time, to a part of your life, which one would you choose. I would choose, when I turned 13, because I would do everything so differantly, me and my friends, were all big wrestling fans, which even during the year 2000, a massive boom period for the WWF, we would be bullied, because this made us differant. I felt alone, like I had nowhere to go, and as it turned I wasn't alone, because later that year, an album called Hybrid Theory came out, and all I answers to the questions that I had, became clear, these men were just like me. Mike rapped about isolation, and loneliness, whilst Chester had a voice that resembled an angels, that could also boil nails, at the same time, the backing sound provided by. Joe Hahn. Pheonix. Brad Delson, and. Rob Bourdon, made for an electric cocktail, that I instantly fell in love with, this album made me feel normal, in the same way that watching Stone Cold Steve Austin used to make me feel. In 2003 the band released Meteora, their second album, Hybrid Theory was a phenomanon, and. Meteora was a great follow to this mega debut. My love for this band deepened.

Crossroads.

Linkin Parks Music, has a DIY attitude to it. Yes they were signed to a big record Label Warner Bros, and the label Boyband, in their early years, acted as an unfair tag, that by the time. 2007 rolled around. Minutes To Midnight, added a solid look into the future, for were the band was going, my life was going down this same route, with the lyrics from Shadow Of The Day, which helped me when I needed it most.

As I Got Older.

As I got older. My fandom for wrestling, and. Linkin Park didn't stop. TNA was the new kid in town, and this came at a time when the WWE were failing to create stars. TNA was enhancing the furure, and taking a look, at were the industry was going. Linkin Park on the other, were taking acts out on tour with them, that are now selling out arenas.

Creative Flux.

From the years of 2012-2017. Both WWE, and. Linkin Park would go through some sort of creative Flux. Linkin Parks would see 3 albums have varying success, and. The WWE's creative would start to fail, as those years went on. I still found some enjoyment from Linkin Parks Music, whilst The WWE made me question my life choices, my life at this point from a work level, was on the floor, and my confidence was shot, and then it happened. On the 20th of July, the world got smaller, and colder on a summers evening, as news slowly started to filter through here in the UK, that Chester Bennington had taken his own life, at the age of 41. My heart sunk into my guts, as I struggled to digest the news. Wrestling at this point did work to take my mind off of what was going on. My musical guidance had been ripped away from me, and this made me feel worse, but, there was a voice at the back of my head, that said you can turn this around, and it was the lyrics to the song Heavy, and this said to me, it's within you to do this, and I did. RIP Chester. I hope i've made you proud, even though I didn't know you.

Controversy With A Concious.

September 5th. All day I was buzzing with excitement. Linkin Park were back, and with a new Singer, she went by the name of Emily Armstrong. On first appearance on the livestream concert, I thought she sounded a bit rough, but as the show went on, she grew into confidence, and I thought she did a good job. But as soon as this ended fans went to the internet, and discovered her past. Emily has, or had, links with Scientology, and had ties to the Danny Masterson case, when she supported him, at one of his hearings. I won't go into detail on what Masterson did, because it's awful. She then issued a statement saying that she has had nothing to do with Masterson, but didn't say anything about Scientology, fans picked up on this, and was labelled a scientologist by the media because of this. I have my thoughts on scientology, and even with recent developments. I don't think she's in the church fully anymore, and as for not talking about it, she probably can't, due to how the church treats outcasted people. My take on this is simple. I think, when you get someone who's manipulated someone, and done the unthinkable. In my experience, you'll find thousands behind him, that don't think it's ok to ruin other peoples lives. I have my thoughts on Scientology. It's something that I can't get my head around. November 15th 2024, the band released their 8th studio album From Zero, which is a paranim of their original name, before they were called Linkin Park. I really like the Album. For an Album that has had a massive machine promote. It reminds of Indy wrestling, because a lot of the tracks on the album, like. Stained. Cut The Bridge, and, the lead single. The Emptiness Machine, all have the routes of an independant wrestling promotion, oozing out from thier pours. What I'm trying to say is this, we all have the right to enjoy what we enjoy. And if this album helps someone, in the same way Chesters words did, then its all been worth it, because that's what matters.

My Top Ten Bands That shaped My Love Of Pro Wrestling.

No Intro Needed.

5 Slayer.

As a fan of Heavy Metal music, the corilation between this genre, and wrestling goes back decades, from the time when Ozzy Osbourne, was seen sat at ringside, at Wrestlemania 2, but to me Slayer was a massive influence on my fandom. I listen to South Of Heaven on repeat when I did my Karate training back in the day, and unto this day. I listen to them when I go on walks,  when getting my exercise.

4 Slipknot.

I love this band. I have been a fan since I was fourteen years old, and getting into them, just so happened, when the back end of the attitude era, was starting to slow down, which meant that my tempo increased.

3 Pantera.

I'm just going to say this, so we get this clear. I don't agree with any of Phil Anselmo's controversial takes, in any way shape or form, but I love the music. Back when I did Karate. Pantera would be on my training playlist. In terms of Wrestling. In the mid nineties, the industry could easily have been soundtracked by  this band, which is when I first became a fan.

2 Korn.

Back in the late nineties, when I was entering my pre-teens. My favourite band at that point was The Offspring, that was until one of my boneheaded friends introduced me to Korn, and even it wasn't love at first listen straight away. I feel that it was a perfect way, to look at my relationship with wrestling at the time. Did I like Chris Jericho at that time. No, but I grew to love him, ( that was until earlier this Year ) Eddie Guererro I wasn't a big fan of in WCW, but I loved him in the WWF. This basically descrides my love for the band Korn.

1 Linkin Park.

This band, alongside Pro Wrestling, has got me through some dark periods in my life. I will be writing another piece on these guys a little bit later on, that will allow to go a bit more into detail.

Why I'm Looking To AEW Full Gear 2024. Top 5 reasons.

Intro.

Even though this weeks Dynamite, felt a bit damp. I'm still looking forward to the PPV, and here's why.

5 The Costco Guys.

I have one word to describe this reason. Boooooooooooooooooooooooom. Right I'm hungry. I wonder if I have any Chicken Bakes downstairs.

4 Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy.

Even though a lot of critics, haven't liked a lot of this. I have, and the Match is going to deliver on the night, but I also respect others opinions. Were all differant people.

3 MJF vs Roderick Strong.

This. Match, even though the build has been a convoluted mess, the Match screams lofi burner.

2 Will Osperay vs Kyle Fletcher

This Match screams Match of the year. I can't wait to see this Match, as it unflods this weekend.

1 Chris Jericho Isn't On The Card.

At long last. Chris Jericho isn't on an AEW PPV Card, thank God. I'm so releaved for this.

AEW Dynamite Review 21.11.2024.

Intro.

When the new year comes around, we will be seeing a new trend within AEW, there going to be running smaller venues. I think this is a great idea, performers will thrive under a smaller spotlight, and this could help develop a better feeling within the company and beyond. One other thing, apologies for the lateness of this review, this is due to the fact that I was securing a Linkin Park ticket for there Wembley Stadium show, next June, and guess what. I got a ticket, so i'm a very happy Patrick.

Full Gear Round Up.

The show started with a shortened version of the hype video, that aired on Collision, soundtracked to Guns And Roses November Rain.

8 Man Tag Match.

The Don Callis Family, beat Will Osperay. Ricochet. Powerhouse Hobbs, and. Mark Davis, in a fantastic opening contest. The Matches within the Match, were sensational, and the chaos induced physicality, blended into the story of the Match. I really liked this.

Jon Moxley Promo.

This. Was. Excellent, the subtlety surroundings of Jons words, were great, as he laid into what Orange Cassidy is like, beneath the surface. Claudio Spoke in swiss, and said that he's going to end Darby later on. Cassidy, and. Darby answered this back. Darby said that The Deathriders, will have there day, whilst Cassidy told his conglomeration friends, that he's going to take the fight on his own.

MVP Segment.

The Hurt Syndicate, were seen showing up, and MVP had an announcement. Big Bobbles Lashley is going to be in action later on. Swerve then came out, and decked Bobbles. MVP, and. Shelton Benjamin, then beat up a Swerve lookalike, buy a staircase, and just like i was saying, be still my awful WCW loving heart.

Adam Cole Segment.

I didn't like this. Adam Cole came out, and instantly put over his friend Roderick Strong, and even though, he isn't facing MJF at Full Gear, he's going to make sure that Max receives the ass whooping of a lifetime, this is when Kyle O'reilly came out, and both men had an awkward promo dual, that echoed their past, and looked how well respected by his peers, who would go to war for him, he added that Max is more evil than him, and this is worrying. I thought all of this, fell flat, and it was performed to crickets.

Kris Statlander vs Hikaru Shida.

I liked this. Statlander, beat. Hikaru Shida, in a decent Match. Mercedes Mone, from sport trashing, to sending in her lackey to taken out, Stat and Shida, instead she was the won who got decked.

Bobbles Lashley vs Joe Keys And CheeseBurger.

Bobbles Lashley, beat. Joe Keys, and. CheeseBurger. Nana came out whielding a steelchair, this allowed Swerve to attack lashley with his trusty chain, to end the segment. I liked this.

Marieh May And Mina Shirakawa Segment.

Ok guys, Saturday at Full Gear. I will de getting my tits out, for this segment, because it's a clear indication that Toni Storm is coming back. This was great, both promos were awesome.

Darby Allin vs Claudio Castagnoli.

I liked this. From Darby suffering a rush of blood to the head, whilst claudio lifted up the ring steps, the pacing selling the violence, the flip reversal exchanges, and Claudio launching Darby through a table, via way of the safety rail, this allowed Claudio to get the win with a hard lariot.

Private Party Segment.

My best mates Private Party, told Renee Paquette, that they were not going to give away their game plan, ahead of their Tag Team four way Match this weekend, and then in stepped The Costco Guys. AJ Boom, and. Big Justice, and they had an announcent. The Rizla is going to be the guest bell ringer, for AJ's Match against QT Marshall. Right i'm going to take a quick break, so I can go downstairs, and plant my face with. Double Chunk Chip Cookies.

MJF Segment.

MJF, then showed on screen, at what looked like the outside of an abandoned warehouse, were he cut a scaving, and highly personal promo on Roderick Strong, that focused on his up bringing. Roderick answered this back later on, with a great babyface promo, with Tony Schiavone. I'm not sure what to think about this, because the balance, just felt off.

Postman Perry Segment.

Well I don't know how Postman got here tonight. He has a feeling that something aint right, he's so scared he might fall of his chair. There's no clowns to the left, nor. The Elite to the right, here he is, he's watching his van get smashed, by Daniel Garcia. This. Was pointless.

ROH Championship Contract Signing.

I laughed my ass watching this, because it was just so stupid, and ridiculous. I won't go to much into detail, because you need to see it for yourselves. Jericho, and. Big Tom, have patter, who would've known.

Jamie Hayter And Julia Hart Segment.

Julia Hart vs Jamie Hayter, at a later date, oh go on then AEW if you must. Just get on with the Match already.

Orange Cassidy vs Wheeler Yuta.

I thought this was a mix-bag of a main event, the physicalty was performed well, and the lts, was a nice touch, but overall, this was a flat match, with a poor outcome. Cassidy got the win by roll up. The rest of the deathriders came out, to attack Cassidy, it started off with Pac taking out Cassidy, and. Moxley. Claudio, and. Marina taping up Cassidy, and playing a violent game of pass the parcel. The Conglomeration come out to make the save, and give Cassidy back his glasses, as the show went off air.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

I'm not sure what to make of this weeks AEW Dynamite, the in-ring work, went from good to poor, whilst the promos, went the same way.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is midway 7/10. This can only be seen as a disapointment, with a major PPV, just days away.

My Top Episodes Of Darkside Of The Ring.

Warning.

Just a heads up, I will be discussing issues like. Child Murder, sexual assault, and suicide, reader discretion is advised.

Intro.

The Vice Docu Series Darkside Of The Ring, has divided the wrestling fanbase, from raising points of controversy, to bringing up points, that some fans already know, but in my opinion, it's been a revelation, it's managed to bring up, and raise awareness of issues, that would normally get ignored by the mainstream media. I think, if the need for conversations has got to be had, then it's ok to educate the audience, because social issues, are real issues, and sometimes you need to take a step back, and take a breath.

5. The Ultimate Warrior Season 3.

I found this episode to be horrorfying, and, enlightening, the man known as James Hellwig, was a complete differant person to the character that he potrayed. His divergance into unthinkable Racism, and full on persona, that lead to multiple problems, this was an eye opening piece of TV, that has stayed with me, since the first time I watched it.

4 Nick Gage Season 3.

This episode confirmed what I thought about Nick Gage, he's absolutely nuts. Enough said.

3 Plain Ride From Hell Season 3.

From accounts of Drug misuse, insane antics in the air, the awful accusations that came surrounding Ric Flair, after a stewardess accused him of sexual assault, that led to Tommy Dreamer to say some awful comments, that led to him getting suspended by his employers. TNA, to the heartbreaking realisation, that the industry failed Terry Runnels, after her ex Dustin Rhodes, wouldn't leave her alone, and the alleged sexual exposure from Brock lesnar. This. Was. A sickening look into the industry's time window, that should never have existed.

2 The Fabulous Moolah Season 1

This. To Me, shattered all of my illusions, when it came legendary status, and how that term gets thrown around nowadays, because this lady, isn't a lady, nor is she a legend, what this episode uncovered, was how the awful side of the industry, can encapsulate one person. By all accounts the Fabulous one was an awful lady, who got off on the suffering of others, by the worst ways possible.

1 The Benoit Murders Parts 1 and 2 Season 2.

This. Episode is one of the finest points of Wrestling documentary making, it acts as a severe gut punch to the senses, that reminds us as the viewers, that life is precious, and that every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child. Daniel was let down in the worst way possible. Chris's oldest son David gives a great insight into what his dad was like, that painted the image of son, trying to get the best from an awful situation, which is understandable. The talking heads. Vicki Guererro. Jim Ross. Chavo Guererro, and. Chris Jericho, all give good insight, and feelings, and post trauma accounts, as the WWE was forced to tighten it's wellness policy. This two parter ended with Chris Jericho, bringing David, and. Nancy's sister together, at an AEW show, this at the time reminded me, that the industry, does have a soul.

My Thoughts On This Weeks Friday Night Smackdown. Intro. I've had to change things up here at O'malley Towers, this is because I had...
