My Top 5 Wrestlers That WCW Tried To Ruin Talent.

      Intro.

WCW in the 1990's was the gift that kept on giving. From utter nonsense, to ruining the talent that was on there books. Lets get into it guys.

     5 Eddie Guerrero.

The debut of Perry Saturn, and. Eddie Guerrero was a thing that was always going to happen in WWE. But it shouldn't have happened the way in which it did. The company creative, and overall direction, was taking them down a path that they couldn't come back from. Eddie was known to have grown frustrated as the old guard stood in front of him and his friends. Midcard was never his place in my opinion.

4 The Wall.

Oh the Flashbacks, my god this was dad, just all round bad. 2000's WCW People.

3 Chris Jericho.

Even though, I'm not his biggest fan of Jericho these days, in truth, he was a trailblazer, when it came to escaping Ted Turners evil empire. He tried at every oppotunity to get himself over, but, at every turn he was put back down, by millionaires, and higher ups.

2. Booker T.

This guy in my opinion, was badly treated by the company, however his loyalty is something that you can't teach in school. What a legend.

1. Bret Hart.

Let this be known. I'm a massive fan of his Excellency, but his WCW run was a real stark creative let down. There were clear moments in his run were he couldn't hide his displeasure, from his bad relationship with Eric Boischoff, and visceral hatred towards Ric Flair, to how his career ended at the hands of Bill Goldberg. Bret wasn't the mastermind behind his own downfall, not matter what some people might say.

Monday Night Raw Review 4.2.2025.

   Intro.

I think we can all agree that This past weekend was awesome. But with that said. Were on the road to Wrestlemania, and I love this time of year, from guessing which way storylines are going to go, to fantasy booking matches. And after this years Royal Rumble, and how the mens one ended. I can honestly say. I've never looked forward to a Mania build this much in years. Strap Yourselves in guys, because I have a feeling that this is going to be an epic ride.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Sami Zayn. Cm punk. Liv Morgan. Iyo Sky, and. Charlotte Flair, were all seen showing to the arena.

Jey Uso Segment.

I had a great time watching this at 7am this morning. Jey walked through the fans when he made his entrance, and their love and passion never wained once during this segment. Jey got to the ring, and at first he could barely speak, due to the overwhelming response the fans were giving him. When he did talk, he spoke with passion, fire, and grace. From his history, and the love he has for his family, to this point. Jey is the definition of hardwork paying off, and as a writer who's struggling to make a name for himself. I can understand all of his efforts, no one saw him as a singles guy, but he turned this around, and that gamble is slowly starting to pay off. Gunther came out, and the pair had an excellent promo dual. I like the chemistry that these two have, and this was awesome. I don't think were getting Jey vs Gunther at Mania, but in all honesty would it really be a bad thing.

Penta vs Ludwig Kaiser.

For a TV Match that needed a bit more time so it could marinade, this wasn't bad, in fact, it was very good. Penta got the win, and was then decked by Kaiser, after Pete Dunne showed his Butch like face.

Finn Balor Is Back.

Finn Balor is back, and he's acting like a big baby. Dom has been keeping the group a float, after Finn got decked by Damien Priest.

Charlotte Flair Is Back. ( uh oh )

This. Was. A real letdown. WWE have created an unwanted Creative vortex. They have been molding Charlotte into a modern day version of Tully Blanchard, with the vingnettes they have been showing hyping up her return, and then they go and do this. They turn into a babyface. Her promo was not well received by the fans in attendence, because her promo was built in the realm of a babyface. Charlotte is a natural heel, and this didn't work. Rhea Ripley then came out, and  not even she couldn't save this car wreck. I have no other words. Rhea, and. Iyo got decked by Liv Morgan, and. Raquel Rodriguez.

6 Sami Zayn Heel Tease.

Sami Zayn was backstage getting tormented, by everyones favourite low rent Carnival freak Karrion Kross, and he walked over to see his mate. Jey Uso, in which he said he's proud of him, after his Rumble win. I'm not buying this.  Proud, more like not proud.

The New Day vs Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

I'm not sure what to make of this. From Logan Paul, acting like a evil mastermind, to The New Day slowly becoming completely irrelevent. The New Day got the win, and at this point I don't think I care. Which is a shame, because after that angle with Big E. they've fallen down, and it looks like they can't get back up.

Liv Morgan vs Iyo Sky Elimination Chamber Qualifier Match.

This. Was pathetic. I've seen a lot of people saying online, that this is one of Liv Morgans better Matches in recent months. And I agree, but the dodgy finish left a bad taste in my mouth. Rhea Ripley attacked Liv, causing a dq finish, meaning Liv won by default. Liv is going to Toronto, to be in the Elimination Chamber. Oh joy.

Seth Rollins Segment And Cm Punk vs Sami Zayn.

I loved all of this. Seth started off proceedings by coming out wearing The Undertakers Bathrobe. He put over his praise of Jey Uso, whilst laughing at Cm Punks downfall. Seth started the job of working the fans by stating that Roman is injured, as the fake side of self loathing took centre stage, as he talks about the past. He then asked Sami Zayn to come out, and what came next was excellent. Seth reminded Sami who he is. A few weeks ago Punk told  Sami that he's not on his level. Seth told Sami, that he's levels clear of the second city st. This Morphed into the main event of the evening, and it was excellent. I've heard some people say that Seth vs Sami is one of the best Matches of the year, and i'm not sure if I agree. Yes, the story that both men told in the Match was great. I just think KO and Cody from this past weekend ruled major ass. The physicality that was on display here was something to behold for a TV Match, and their chemistry was awesome. I just feel that there was something missing, and I can't put my finger on what it was.

Overview of Monday Night Raw.

Even with all of the technical faults that threatened to derail this broadcast. I had fun watching Raw this week. The promos went from sensational, to what were they thinking, and the in ring work followed the same pattern.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a high 7/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From WWE Royal Rumble.

      Intro.

This will be the last piece that I write about this years Royal Rumble. I've done a main review, but I did miss some things out, so I'm going to give you lucky people a little something extra. So sit back, have a drink, and a snack, and lets get into it.

5. AJ Styles Is Back.

I jumped off of my bed, when this guy came out. AJ Styles is back, and I couldn't be more pleased to see him. It's no secret that I have been a fan of this man for many years, so yeah I marked out a bit.

4. Say His Name And He Appears.

Ok everyone sing it with me now. Say his name and he appears. I've checked, and Joe Hendry isn't behind me.

3 Pat Mcafe's energy.

I'm convinced that this guy is one of the energetic people to ever grace the WWE announcers desk. This. Was evidently clear this past Saturday.

2. I Have Lost A Lot Of Time For Trish Stratus.

Since last September when she featured in the He Who Shall Not Be Named Netflix Docu Series, when she called this awful human being a father figure. I lost a lot of respect for her. Watching her this past Saturday at the Rumble made me feel awkward. I can't understand why someone could respect another person, after they degraded her. I just don't get it.

1. Cena Did The Right Thing.

Whether you like him or not, what happened on Saturday was right. Cena did more in one night for Jey Uso, than anyone else has. He put over Jey, and it was the right thing to do.

AEW Collision Review 3.2.2025.

Samoa Joe And Hook vs Kip Sabian And Nick Wayne.

I'm skipping the intro today and i'm going to dive right into the show. I had a fun time watching this. Samoa Joe, and. Hook, beat Kip Sabian, and. Nick Wayne in a decent TV Match. I love Samoa, and i've never heard of the show Sex Idol, so when it comes to Kip Sabian, this proves that he's not a reality TV star.

Adam Copeland Segment.

Adam Copeland then cut a promo on Jon Moxley, challenging him for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Revolution, from brushes with the past, to the kidnapping of the modern day. I liked this.

The Beast Mortas vs Adam Priest.

The Beast Mortas, beat. Adam Priest, in a flat, and boring TV Match. Max Castor came out and challenged anyone to face him, as part of his Open Challenge. He was met by Rush, and was beaten by Rush. The Mexican then verbally laid into The Beast.

Chris Jericho And Bryan Keith vs The Outrunners.

I'm not the biggest fan of The Learning Tree, but I love The Outrunners. And I had fun watching this. Keith got the win for his team by roll up.

Kyle Fletcher And Mark Briscoe Vingnette.

Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe one more time. I have only one thing to say. Yes Please.

Buddy Matthews And Okada Segment.

So Patrick would you like Buddy Matthews vs Kazuchika Okada at a later point. Yes please AEW.

Taya Valkyrie vs Harley Cameron.

Harley Cameron, beat. Taya Valkyrie, in a flat, and boring TV Match. I love Harley Cameron, her puppet version of Mercedes Mone had me howling.

Ricochet Sits Down With Renee Paquette.

This. Was excellent. I you haven't seen this. Then you need to check this out on Youtube. His interactions with Swerve Strickland was something to be seen.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

This. Was simply perfect, from the outset, to the execution, however to that idiot who shouted get your tits out in 2025, have a word with yourself.

Kyle O'reily vs Daniel Garcia vs Lee Moriarty AEW TNT Championship.

I didn't like this. The Match was flat, and it never recovered. Daniel Garcia got the win by roll up, and the aftermath of were out numbered was predictable. The saves from Daddy Magic. Angelo Parker, and. Cole, and Strong, didn't help at all.

Hologram Vingnette.

Tony Khan's favourite Power Ranger Hologram is on his way back to AEW. And I can't wait to see him. Go go Mighty Hologram.

Megan Bayne vs Hyena Hern.

Megan Bayne, beat. Hyena Hern, in a standard TV Match, this was over far to quickly.

Lio Rush And Action Andretti.

Lio Rush, and. Action Andretti vs Top Flight, just get on with it AEW. This has gone on for far to long.

Willow Nightingale And Kris Statlander Segment.

The big question is this, do I want to see one more round from these ladies? Well, yes.

Mid South Street Fight FTR vs Moxley And Wheeler Yuta.

I had a lot of fun watching this. From both teams fighting around the venue, Trash can spots. Marina Shafir getting involved. And both Dax Harwood, and Moxley, having two forms of nasty accupuncture, from Pliers, and. Thumbtacks. Dax put Marina through a table. And the interference spots, from. Jay White. Claudio Castagnoli, and. Adam Copeland, made sense. Yuta got piledriven through the announcers desk, as FTR picked up the win. Claudio saved Mox from a steel chair concerto, as the show went of the air.

Overview of AEW Collision.

This. Was. A real mix-bag of a TV Show, and that's all I have to say, because this is a fair way to look at this broadcast.

This weeks AEW Collision is a solid 5/10.

Royal Rumble 2025 Review.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Given the fact that I've talked to death about my love for this event over the past few days, i'm going to jump straight into the show. Cody Rhodes. Kevin Owens. Cm Punk. Seth Rollins. Bayley. Bianca Belair, and. Naomi, and of course my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, were all seen showing to the stadium in Indianapolis.

Stephanie Mcmahon Opens The show.

Stephanie Mcmahon opened up the PLE, and what she said resonated with me. She said that this is the biggest Rumble in history, due to the fact that its being simulcast, between Peacock in the United States, and Netflix, for vast 80 percent of the globe were WWE had previous TV rights deals. What this said to me, is, oh what a difference five years make. Five years ago, here in the UK. WWE aired on BTSport, the now TNTSports. At the time this was considered to be a massive deal, as the Company's pressents here in the UK, gained way more traction, under the watch of the network, and now were here. Globalisation isn't just near, it's here, because the company is more profitable than ever.

Pat Mcafe Intro Video.

Look. I get it. I know that Pat Mcafe is a required taste, but. I like him, he has a form of energy, that if you bottled it up and sold it, you would be extremely well off.

The Womens Royal Rumble.

I didn't think this was the best Womens Rumble, but I also didn't hate it. The returns of Alexa Bliss. Charlotte Flair, and. Nikki Bella, and the NXT entrants, like. Roxanne Perez. Lash Legend. Jaida Parker. Stephanie Vaquer, and. Giulia, made for great suprises, and the debut of TNA's Jordyne Grace, was an added bonus. However, due to a lack of storyline, the match suffered from pacing issues. As the 30 ladies were wittled down to just 3. The exchanges between Nia Jax. Charlotte Flair, and. Roxanne Perez, were decent. Flair eliminated Jax, and she and Perez, gave us a possible taste of what is to come in the future. Flair eliminated Perez, and is now heading to Wrestlemania, to face an opponent of her choosing. I didn't like the ending. I just feel that WWE have gone to the well of Charlotte Flair, far to often, over the past decade. This should've been time for change in my opinion.

DIY vs The Motorcity Machine Gunns WWE Tag Team Championship.

I'm not sure what to make about this. I liked the action in all three stages, that led to the falls, I just think that it looked out of place, and should've been featured as a main event, set for television, and not for a PLE, and the return of The Street Profits, felt lazy, and predictable. DIY retained their belts 2-1 on the night.

Kevin Owens vs Cody Rhodes WWE Undisputed Championship Ladder Match.

I loved this. It was a bloodstained masterstroke, in solid booking, that the fans were up for. The ladders were broken apart and used as weapons, and the physicality spots, in which ladders were used as a third compatriot, were borderline sickening, the selling of concern, from Sami Zayn, and. Nick Aldis, along with KO getting busted open, added to the drama, but it was Cody who retained his belts, as he incapacitated KO, by slamming him through a cleverly placed ladder, from the announcers table, to the ring apron. This brought the PLE back into business.

Mens Royal Rumble.

From the perfect start of Rey Mysterio vs Penta, and the in built Storyline, sparking up a creative weave, that was a study in contrast, in comparison to the Womens Match. And Logan Paul, a man that reminds of wrestlings answer to a bag of black liqourice, something that I can't stand. I do understand why he's important to this scenario. By having a hand in eliminating Cm Punk. Seth rollins, and. Roman Reigns, he has created a universal, multiverse, paradox situation, which is a wrestling bookers, best form of a dream. The final 3 entrants, saw him. John Cena, and. Jey Uso have a series of great exchanges. That led to Jey taking out Cena, to book his place in the main event of Wrestlemania. I loved this ending. As the early hours of the morning started to dawn here in the UK. I had two trains of thought go through my mind, the first. Was that the Aftermath of the mens Rumble from a storytelling view through the looking glass, is going to have a serious after burn, that is going to be felt, even after the next PLE in one months time, and the second one, was the fact i'm no differant to the thousands that were in attendance, because just like them. I was yeeting all over the place. I'm a 37 year old man, and I acted like a child for fun. But that's the power of wrestling, it can make you believe, and feel, because at the end of the day. Isn't that the whole point?

Overview of WWE's Royal Rumble 2025.

From the shows midcard leaving me with a sense of just feeling whelmed, and both Rumble Matches being a heavy study in contrast. I have to say I enjoyed this Royal Rumble PLE Event.

WWE's Royal Rimble 2025 is a 8/10.

My Royal Rumble Insights.

  Intro.

Every year, when this event comes around. I get excited like a school kid, breaking up from lessons, before the Summer Holidays. There's just something special about The Royal Rumble, my childhood fandom, still reigns unto this very day. From the Rumble Matches, to the midcard, that sometimes outshines the main attraction. I love The Royal Rumble, as much as I love sweats. Now just think of the ground that covers.

   Stark Contrast.

The balance between this years, and last years event, are a real stark study in contrast. Last year there was a dark over looming cloud, that took months to get over. acting as a nasty reminder, that this industry has a darkside, filled with disgusting degeneracy, that looks like the stories, were pulled up from the gutter. In my opinion, last years event, was overshadowed by the actions of an awful human being, who got off on the suffering of others. This left the show with a large hindrance against it, but, when the worst of occasions get going. WWE did what they try to do best. Put smiles on faces. Yes, I agree, that sentiment was used to death during the company's Pandemic Era, and whether we like it or not, it's true.

Place My Bets.

I'm not a betting man, nowadays. But, if I was, I would be going with Jey Uso. I agree with every account that said that. Cody, and. Punk had a sensational Promo dual on Monday Night Raw, from this past week, but when you dig beneath the surface. Punk is nothing short of a red herring. This promo was a smoke screen for what is going to come later down the line.

Predicting The Womens Rumble.

As a fan that watches WWE's weekly TV output religously, I can't predict the womens Rumble, and this years is no differant. WWE like to play the game of red herring, when it comes to the Rumble, but this year i'm struggling to predict the womens Rumble. I'm hoping that Charlotte Flair doesn't win, because I feel that WWE have gone to this well all to often, and if they place Liv Morgan in the winners place, they would going over old ground, and that could be disasterous. The big question is this, who do WWE go with? This to me has caused a massive conumdrum, due to the fact that I don't think WWE's womens division, is in the best state, at the moment.

Directions.

Were do WWE go after Saturday night, well that's a tough one, because it's hard to tell, either way. I can't wait to follow the storythreads, as they unfold.

Favourite Rumble Events.

I have great memories from watching past Royal Rumbles. My personal favourite event was Rumble 2000. From the botch finish to the main event. Cactus Jack, and. HHH, having a classic Street Fight, to The Hardy Boyz, and. The Dudley Boyz, creating magic. I love this PPV. I recently watched it again after the WWE Network moved to Netflix, and it brought back loads of great memories from that time.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Review 1.2.2025.

Intro.

At the time of writing, we're just hours away from. The Royal Rumble. I've said this once, and i'll say it again. I love The Royal Rumble. I have an insights piece coming out later today, so keep your eyes pealed everyone, and happy Rumble Weekend to you all.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Liv Morgan. Raquel Rodriguez. Bianca Belair. Naomi. Chelsea Green. Piper Niven, and. Damien Priest, were all seen showing up. Michael Cole, and. Pat Mcafe, were on hand throughout the show, to get the Rumble Party started, with the help of Tyrese Hauerberton, this would be an on going theme throughout the broadcast. Michael Cole crowd surfing. You love to see it.

KO And Joe Tessatore Segment.

This was excellent. KO stared daggers at Joe, calling him a Cody fanboy, whilst glossing over what happened on Monday Night Raw, both men had a minor verbal dual, which ended with KO refusing to accept his apology, after last weeks Smackdown, when he felt like Joe overlooked him, in the same way that Cody, and. Punk did on Monday. KO took down his belt and tried to leave, this was when Cm Punk came out, and what ensued, was nothing short of a masterstroke. Both men had a fantastic promo dual. This. Was sold by both men, with conviction, and passion, and octane emotion. This. Was. Perfect.

The Miz Can't Keep His Mouth Shut.

The Miz was mouthing off to Nick Aldis, about Andrade, and this went south, because Andrade beat him later on, in a flat, and boring TV Match.

Jimmy Uso vs Carmelo Hayes.

This. Was. A great piece of business, both men had a solid TV Match, that played out well, in front of this decent crowd. jimmy got the win by roll up. Carmelo's promo before the Match started, echoed his downfall.

Chelsea Green vs Michin WWE Womens United States Championship.

The Match was thrown out, after Chelsea, attacked Michin with a Kendo Stick. I'm done with this feud.

Bianca And Naomi Segment.

Am I the only person, who thinks that Bianca Belair, and. Naomi, give off vibes, like a bad episode of Saved By The Bell, because these two aren't going to be best friends forever.

Charlotte Flair Is Coming Back.

I have a big burning question, is Charlotte Flair winning the Royal Rumble, because I hope not.

Damien Priest Segment.

I liked this. Damien Priest is now on Smackdown. I really like this. His promo was excellent, as the former Punishment Martinez, took us down a path, that was riddled with hardship, and passion, as he proclaimed his place in the Royal Rumble, he was then greated by Jacob Fatu, and. Tama Tonga. Jacob is the future, his visceral approach to a promo, is refreshing, and it was on full display here, he's the next big star. His promo dual with Priest, may have had a predictable ending, but it doesn't change the fact that this was awesome, and seeing Tama take some knocks, added to this plate. As the fight took shape. LA Knight came to make the save, and when he tried to take a swing at Jacob with a steelchair, Fatu punched it when it was in motion. This set up the Main Event later in the evening, between LA Knight, and. Damien Priest, and. Tama, and. Jacob.

DIY And Pretty Deadly vs Los Garza And The Motorcity Machine Gunns.

This. Match fell into the traps of a standard TV Match, and it suffered as a result. The Machine Gunns got the win. This would cause friction, between DIY, and. Pretty Deadly. Tama would later on catch the tag belts being carelessly left on some staging equipment, he eyed them up the same way, that I would do a KitKat Share bar, this would piss off Gargano, and. Ciampa.

Liv Morgan vs Naomi.

I thought this was flat. Boring, and repettitive, and predictable. Naomi got the win.

Zelina Vega Confronts Tiffany Stratton.

Zelina Vega vs Tiffany Stratton, at a later date, no not for me. I don't think this will be very good at all. Tiffany then had an in ring segment With Pat Mcafe, and. Michael Cole. I didn't like this. It fell into the realm of a promo train, without being a promotrain. Mcafe ran through all of the Womens Rumble entrants, and after Tiffany stood her ground, she was interrupted by Candace Lerae, who called Tiffany a traitor without a hood, to a degree, she acted as a decoy, because Nia attacked Tiffany. All of this was utter drivel, and the dialogue between all involved was hideous.

Tama Tonga And Jacob Fatu vs LA Knight And Damien priest.

I thought this was an adequote effort from all involved. Priest, and. Knight got the win, in what was a solid TV Match. The in ring work flowed nicely, as the story of the Match took centre stage. Fatu attacked Priest in the aftermath, as the show went off the air.

Overview Of This Weekends Friday Night Smackdown.

I don't know about you guys, but I thought that this was a very middle of the road edition of weekly TV. The Matches, and. Promos, were a real study in contrast, and that not always a good thing.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a Low 6/10.

Ps. God bless you R Truth.

AEW Collision Review 5.5.2025. Toni Storm vs Lady Frost. I'm once again skipping the intro. Adam cole walked out at the beginning, and ...
