My Top UFC Fighters Who Never Backed Down.

Intro.

The phrase never back down isn't just a name of a minor, and awful film franchise. It's a way of life for MMA fighters. If you're in the fight, then you'll always have a chance, and those words are a needed vice versa, especially in the hard world of MMA.

5. Randy Couture.

From being a two time champion, in two weight classes, two fighting the UFC over unfair payments. It could be argued that Captain America is a man of conviction, even if the big bosses don't agree with is morals. I have a lot of time for Randy Couture, because he's someone who won't back down if someone has wronged him, and that's the right thing to do in life.

4. Chuck Liddell.

Even though the man has faced some questionable accusations, that I can't condone. I do believe that anyone can change their lives. His relentless fighting style may be dated now, but this man at the time when the UFC was coming up, was the poster boy for hardwork, as the his attitude for I'll fight anyone, anytime, any place, became infectious.

3. Michael The Count Bisping.

From becoming the first ever british UFC Champion, to fighting his own legal battle outside the octagon, this man is has more deserved his place on this list.

2. Anthony Rumble Johnson.

This man in his life, whilst he was alive, was an inspiration, from overcoming a tough up bringing, to becoming a top contender in the Light Heavyweight Division, this just proves, that you can do anything in life, if you want it bad enough. RIP Rumble.

1. Connor Mcgregor.

How do you go from collecting welfare in Ireland, to smashing records, and Championships in the UFC? Well by showing a hardworking attitude, and fighting skills to boot. Connor has all of this, and even though he's faced some controversy for which I can't condone over the past few years. This man showed, that if you want something, then come and get it, because it's up to you to earn it.

WWE Monday Night Raw Review 8.7.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing To The Arena.

Sami Zayn. Jey Uso. Penta, and. The Judgement Day were all seen showing up to the arena. Also that drone shot was sublime.

Seth Rollins Segment.

I liked this. But it had its issues, Both Bron Breakker, and Bronson reads verbalage, felt repetitive, and very rinse and repeat, with differant opponents. Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso. Paul Heyman got things back on track by bringing up Roman Reigns, and Star Wars in the same breath, leaving Seth to do just one thing, welcome us to Monday Night Rollins. This didn't out stay it's welcome, and was quite sharp, but it was the mirror copying at the beginning that took me away from this opening segment.

RIP Liv Morgan.

Roxanne Perez put Liv Morgan to rest. As the rest of The Judgement Day, just felt like, OK I guess, however that cake looked nice, get well soon Dom, agh isn't AJ Styles a nice man. Kairi Sane beat Perez in a solid TV Match, and in the aftermath. Asuka helps Kairi Sane from beat down, and also Adam Pearce get down with your bad self, that image of you dad dancing will be burnt into my brain.

Sami Zayn vs Bron Breakker.

Sami was on his way down to the ring, and got murdered by Big Kazza Kross. Sami tried to show some hurt in his Match against Bron, but the attack is what defeated him, as Bron got the win.

Grief Is A Bad Thing.

The New Day are in morning for the demise of the Tag Team Ddivision, whilst the War Raiders just stood there trying not to corpse. Becky Lynch walked over, and by what it sounded like, I think she was trying to tease a Big E return of some sort?

Becky Lynch Segment.

This hole segment had me howling with laughter. From Becky putting herself over, calling out a fan, and acting like a general spoilt brat over having to defend her belt against two other women. Lyra Valkyria, and. Bayley. Both ladies then came out, and had threeway promo dual, and it was great. From insults to true facts. I had fun watching this.

Jey Uso vs Bronson Reed.

This Match was a waste of time, but it made sense. The Match was thrown out, when Bron launched a ring announcers chair at Jey. This is because you need to have your big monsters look big, Jey got wrecked in the aftermath.

Rhea Ripley And Iyo Sky Vingnette.

This is one of the Matches that i'm looking forward to watching this weekend, and this package was great.

El Grande Americano vs Dragon Lee.

El Grande Americano, beat. Dragon Lee in what was a decent TV Outing for Ludwig Kaiser. Michael Cole was class here, because me and him both know that Americano is actually Mr Tiffany Stratton.

Gunther Segment.

Even though i'm not a big fan of the idea of this Match, but if honest, this segment was ,no notes, perfect. Check this out when you get the chance.

Penta vs Seth Rollins.

I liked this. Both men had great back and forth chemistry, that was coupled with awesome physicality, that bled into both mens movesets. Seth got the win, and in the aftermath. Paul Heyman made the call for both Brons to come out, and attack Penta. But Seth was met by LA Knight, who attacked him as the show went off the air. The pair will meet up on Saturday Nights Main Event.

Overview of Monday Night Raw.

Overall I enjoyed this weeks Raw. This show has managed to convey the message that there's no such thing as a perfect Pro Wrestling show, and this show is the perfect example.

This weeks Monday Night Raw is a solid 7/10.

My Top 5 Insights From AEW Collision.

Intro.

We're back guys. Over the past few months I've had to put AEW Collision on the back burner, due to putting too much on my shoulders, so as an editorial decision I've decided to bring back the Collision reviews in the way of top 5 insights lists. This I think that this is a better idea for this show, so this is what i'm going to do going forward.

5.Adam Cole Segment.

I dispised this segment. It all felt like one giant rah rah speech, that just dragged, and the dual that Adam with both Kyle Fletcher, and. Daniel Garcia just felt predictable. Kyle, beat. Daniel in the main event, and like they said in their segment, the winner would face Cole at All In for the TNT Championship. This Match looks Mighty tasty though.

4. Shelton Benjamin vs Kevin Knight vs Nick Wayne.

This was a fascinating threeway, that acted like a fantastic opener, that was given plenty of time to breathe, with solid physicality. Knight got the win.

3. Nascar.

Swerve Strickland. Anna Jay, and my guys, and your guys. The Outrunners were seen at the last Nascar event, and all I have to say is this. Would I trust The Outrunners to charge up my gears, only in my mind that is.

2. Hello Scorpio Sky.

Thank you Scorpio Sky, for shutting up Max Castor. I'm so glad to see him back, i've liked him since AEW's inception, and it's great to see him in a better place.

1. FTR vs The Outrunners.

I loved this, and had a great time watching this before I went to my day job. It made me laugh. Made me feel enthralled, and me playing mental games of chess on multiple times. It's no secret that I love FTR, and i'm a massive fan of The Outrunners, so knowing that my favourite Tag Teams were facing each other on this broadcast, made this appointment viewing. FTR got the win, thanks to that Glorious man Stokeley Hathaway. I'm just going to say it, God works in some mysterious ways, because I have been asking more Stokeley Hathaway on my TV, and look what i've got.

My Reflections From Last Weekend.

Intro.

Over the past weekend I changed my review schedule for one reason, well I mean Band. Linkin Park. I've loved this band since I was 13 years old, and that love has never gone away. This is my thoughts on their wembley Stadium show, and how it corresponds with Pro Wrestling and MMA, in three steps.

1. Defience.
This band over time has faced it's challenges from being labelled as a boyband, due to the amount of money that was levied against them in their early days, facing off against their label Warner Bros, over the handling of their music. The death of their former singer Chester Bennington, to facing Emily Armstrongs controversy head on. I have my opinions on Scientology, and to say that it's something that I can't understand is an understatement, but to say that the band have dealt with this well would mean to say that a well done is in order. This is evidently clear in the world of Pro Wrestling, and. MMA. A debuting fighter must feel the nerves of stone, because headlining a show at Wembley Stadium isn't an easy task, fairplay Linkin Park, fairplay.
2. The Setlist Matched Sporting Aggression.
From the very outset, the setlist set the tempo for how the evening would play out in the same way that a Match, or fight would. Old Classics like Somewhere I belong. A Place For My Head. Crawling. In The End, and Bleed it out, were perfectly matched up with new age cuts. Casualty. Two Faced. The Emptiness Machine, and. Cut The Bridge in the same way that fighters get paired in the octagon. Was this a battle, no, but how it acted, was like a reminder, that's it's ok to release your own battle cry, and embrace your own legacy.
3. Weekend Overview.
On a weekend when WWE, and. UFC crowned New Champions. It was what went down in Wembley, that has stood alongside these shows, as proof, that if you build it, results will come. From facing devistation 8 years ago, to coming through the light, and showing that anyone can overcome the hardest of situations. I hold Linkin Park in the same regard as I do Cm Punk, and Kenny Omega, and Tom Aspinall, real  heroes, with the ability to help you redefine your life, Enough said.

My Review of WWE Friday Night Smackdown.

As an Evolution nears. Friday nights start to show positive signs of getting better for WWE's blue brand.

Temu Bloodline Get Wrecked.

The show kicked off when the Temu Bloodline were seen showing up, and then getting wrecked by Jacob Fatu. I liked this, because the look on Solo's face was hilarious.

Cody Rhodes Segment.

I liked this. Cody walked to the ring basking in the fans adjulation, whilst holding the crown. I think that this fact is quite interesting, because this could be the start of something special. As Linkin Park once said Heavy Is The Crown. He said that the crown stands for the excellence in our industry, whilst stating the journeys that the greats before him had gone on to get theirs. He was then met by Randy Orton, who took him back to last week, and said that he was near to taking his head off, but Cody was victourious. He went on to mention, that at Summerslam he wants him to kick John Cena's ass. A returning Drew then walked out, and likened this pair to Ross and Julie from Friends. He played into their insecurities, and teased what could come down the pipeline. I liked this, because what we're seeing here is this. WWE are giving us their own version of the spinning plate trick, and this is how booking should be treated when you dig beneath the surface. Cody vs Randy at Clash In Paris is my pic, whilst Drew is kept warm in the background. Randy gave Drew an RKO from out of nowhere to end the segment.

Charlotte Flair And Alexa Bliss vs The Secret Hervice vs Michin And Bfab.

The segment that came before this Match, was a bit painful to watch, and let me tell you why. Alexa is coming off as a bit desperate in my eyes, whilst Flair thinks that cosplaying as Johnathan Davis from Korn, is a clever thing. The Match had the adition that which ever team won, they would be the No1 Contenders going into Evolution. This was a fast paced run through that was very enjoyable. Flair and Bliss got the win, after Charlotte's attempt at patronising Alexa backfired, allowing Alexa to pick up the win.

The Wyatt Sic vs Johny Gargano. Chris Sabin. Montez Ford, and. Humberto.

On paper this Match didn't make a lot of sense, but i've never been more happy to be wrong. This Match ruled to me. It felt fresh, and a good number of the guys involved had decent showings. Wyatts got the win, in what was a solid outing.

 Tiffany Stratton Segment.

I hated this. All of the verbalage that this segment was currated around, was beyond poor. And her interactions with Jade Cargill, and Trish Stratus were poorly scripted garbage. Trish vs Tiffy at Evolution, ok, I guess. After everything that she said in the He Who Shall Not Be Named Docu Series last year. I don't have a lot of time for Trish Stratus.

Solo's new and Improved Temu Bloodline.

All I could think about when I was watching this was. My god Talla Loa is one big guy. I'm 7f, so this guy must be at least 6f8. Wow he's big.

Fraxiom vs Andrade And Rey Fenix.

I liked this. The Match had a flow that was well balanced, as it showcased the fascinating styles of Mexico, and Britain. Andrade got the win for his team.

Jacob Fatu And Jimmy vs Solo Sikoa And JC Mateo.

I didn't like this. The Match felt predictable, and a bit flat, especially when it drew to a close, when Jacob got put through the announcers table. Jacob and Jimmy got the win.

Overview of Friday Night Smackdown.

Now that the 2 hour format has been restored, normal service has resumed for WWE's blue brand. The show had it's moments, and considering the fact that the 3 hour format was butchered to the point that it had lowered the Blue brands bar, this is a stark reminder, that if you want something good, you have to put up with some rain.

This weeks WWE Friday Night Smackdown is a 7/10.

 AEW Dynamite Review.

RIP Diego Jota And His Brother Andre Silva.

Life can be very cruel. I don't normally do this, but here we are, because this is just so unfair. Liverpool player Diego Jota, and his brother Andre Silva, both passed away due to a car accident in Portugal. In the early hours of this morning. I have no words. I'm a 38 year old man. Diego was 10 years younger than me, which just made me think that 28 is no age. My thoughts and prayers go out to his team mates, friends and family, he leaves behind three children, and a wife. I understand that you guys don't come here for my thoughts on football, I just feel that as an Arsenal Supporter, i'm not a fan of tribalism. I just feel that at times like this, we should just remember to sit back, and take a long look at things, because in reality, it doesn't matter what Promotion you back, or what team you support, this is awful. If you've been affected by the issues raised in this article then you can call these numbers.

In The USA 1-800-273-8255.

In Canada 1-877-779-2223.

And here in the UK  you can call Cruse Bereavement on 0808 808 1677.

Now on with the review.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

Hangman Adam Page kicked off the show, He didn't waste anytime when stating that he will ride as far as he can go, when trying to free the briefcase from Jon Moxley, this is something that he vows to do, and even though he knows that the numbers may not be on his side, he won't let this moment pass him by. He then challenged Moxley to a Texas Death Match at All In. Mox came out and answered this. This was a fascinating look into the heel vs babyface dynamic, as mox's words helped  breathe life into the term flipping the script, when he refused the stipulation, as the themes of passion, desire, and gread played out to the on looking TV audience. The Deathriders came out and attacked Hangman. Claudio caused the main bulk of the damage, as Mox walked off. Hangman called Mox out, and told him to accept the challenge. Mox walked back, but was met by Samoa Joe, and. Powerhouse Hobbs. Hangman then cleaned out Marina with a buckshot. I liked the promo stuff, however the image of a man hitting a woman doesn't sit with me. Domestic Violence calls go up during sports broadcasts. I know this was part of the show. I just feel that AEW need to take more care in my opinion.

Mina Shirakowa vs Mercedes Mone AEW TBS Championship.

With the flow of this being centred around Timeless Toni Storm, eating her dinner at ringside, the physicality played into the predictability of the how this played out. The Match was decent, but the guessing game was a fraught affair. Mercedes retained her belt, and attacked Mina in the aftermath, leaving Toni to make the save. That cake at ringside looked mighty good didn't.

The Young Bucks Segment.

The Young Bucks rented out a limo on Tony Khans Cash, and went for a trip down memory lane. They went to their old school, and got some cheese burgers. It's not I would've done. I would take a trip around my hometown of High Wycombe, and looked at my childhood memories. This is where Beaties used to be, the place were I would beg my mum to buy me Biker Mice From Mars toys, and next to it was the comic book shop that we used to visit, some things never change.

MJF vs Brody King vs AR Fox vs Anthony Bowens Casino Gauntlet Match Qualifier.

Even though I liked this Match. Brody King, having a good showing, and the Matches within the Match being played at a solid rate, and of course MJF on commentary, but it was the predictable nature of how things played out that took me away from this Match. Max got the win, and then was dressed down by Mark Briscoe, who said that next week they should have a nice little chat, without his mates. This was when Jetspeed got wrecked by The Hurt Syndicate. Kevin Knight will face Shelton Benjamin on Collision. This went on for far too long.

The Young Bucks and Konosuke vs Paragon And Bandido.

As the theme of the new Superman movie played out throughout this broadcast. I enjoyed this Match. This was a well paced, and balanced, as this allowed the Match to have time to breathe. The Bucks, and. Takeshista got the win. Swerve Strictland, and. Will Osperay then came out, and wanted answers for last week. This would leave both teams to have a great promo dual, that lead to a great conclusion. If Will and Swerve lose, then they can't challenge for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship for up to a year. This angered Swerve, as The Bucks then accepted the Match. Will, and Swerve would then beat The Beast Mortas, and. Dralistico in what was a solid Match up.

Kota Ibushi vs Kazuchika Okada.

Watching this made me feel like I was watching DDT from 2017-2018. If you take Kenny Omega to one side, these two had some of the best Matches that the land of the rising sun have ever produced. From the subtle build, that lead to high croschendo finish, that left me realing with fascinating awe. The Match was layered with heavy hard hitting shots, that paved way for the finish, as Okada got the win with a rainmaker. The Don Callis Family put a beating on Ibushi, leaving Kenny Omega to make the save, oh and that manouver that Kenny and Kota pulled on Trent Barretta was magic.

Oversight Of AEW Dynamite 300.

I liked this broadcast, but I feel that some of the results relied on being heavily predictable, as the in-ring work remained strong. The promos also suffered as they didn't get to the point quick enough.

This Weeks AEW Is a 7/10.

PS. due to the Diego Jota tribute I had to editorilase the opening segment. apologies if this upset anyone.

The Top 5 Moments In Pro Wrestling History That Live In My Head Rent Free.

Intro.

In life their are moments that stick with you, from family memories, or in my case the complete mundain world of Pro Wrestling, some of these moments are so stupid, to the point that I have questioned my sanity when I laugh at these moments. So lets take a look at some of my favourite Momenets that live in my head free of charge.

5. The New Day And The Uso's Barb Back And Forth

From fake Jamaican accents. police reports, and that questionable moment of sexy time. I love this segment.

4. Sammy Guevara Getting Suplexed Across A Football Field And Battered By A Horse.

Agh yes 2020, the year we all wish that we could evaporate from our minds. But it did have it's moments, like this, and my god this was great. At the back end of the of the first Stadium Stampede Match. Kenny Omega suplexed Sammy Guevara across a football field, and when he thought that his ordeal was over, Hangman Aadm Page was seen coming in from the entrance riding a horse that smacked him. This still makes me laugh.

3. The Rocks Birthday Celebration.

From Mankind putting his foot in his mouth. The Rock insulting his old teachers, and threat of sampling a certain flavour of pie. 1999 people you could get away with a lot of things.

2. Cm Punks Pipebomb.

I don't hate you John. I just hate what you've become. These were some of the immortal words spoken by Cm Punk on the 27th of june 2011. This segment has gone on to become one of the best things that WWE have ever committed to, this would capture fans attention, and go on to be a milestone in kicking off the summer of Punk.

1. I Don't care What The Tribal Chiefs.

This was WWE's Production working at their very best. Jeys words. Romans face, and. Sami wanting everyone to just feel a bit Usy. I loved this.

My Top 5 Insights From AEW Collision. 5. Timeless Toni Storm Segment. I liked this. Toni Storm was on fire here, and it was great to Watch....
