My Top 5 Jon Moxley Matches.

Intro.

I love this man, he's managed to reignite my love for wrestling, at a time when the industry had its hand forced, to creatively become even more bankrupt. We love you Moxley. We do. We love you Moxley. We do. We love you Moxley. We do, oh Jon Moxley we love you.

5 Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson AEW Revolution 2022.

This. Was. A bloodsoaked, carnage induced Match, that made my top 5 Matches of 2022. The Bcc was born off of the back of this, and it gave me two things that were awesome. 1st. a cool stable, for as long as that lasted, and the 2nd. The coolest Hoodie that I own, and made my mate Dave feel really jealous.

4 Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega Dynamite Winter Is Coming 2020.

Pandemic Era wrestling isn't a thing I like to talk about, but there were some gems, that can be found in the murkiness, and this one of them. I love these two men, they managed to reignite my love for the business, to the point, that this is what In my sphere time.

3 Jon Moxley vs Hangman Adam Page Texas Deathmatch Revolution 2023.

Were do I begin with this match, it was beautiful violence, that reminds me, that extreme wrestling can have the effect on me, as much as a beautiful Sci Fi Movie, art is all around us people. Enough said.

2 Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy AEW All Out 2023.

If you haven't seen this Match, then you have to see it today, because this is awesome.

1 Jon Moxley vs Eddie Kingston Full Gear 2020.

It's impossible for these guys to not have bad matches, and this was a sensational trip into the psychie, of two of the industries best workers, to have ever come from the indy scene. This. Was. Bloodstained perfection.

My Wrestling Fandom Pt 3.

Intro.

As I sit here on a Monday morning, suffering with a case of writers block. I was pondering what to write about, and then it hit me. Why don't I write about my embarrassing wrestling stories. Oh my. I have some stories.

TNA Shows.

Back in the late noughties I had a love affair with TNA. I wnt to several of the shows, and TV tapings, that were held over here in the UK. I loved these shows, because the way that the company made the fans the vocal of every show. In 2012. I thought I was going to faint at the show, because I shook hands with one of my childhood idols. Hulk Hogan. In that moment I felt like my world was going to melt down. I didn't wash my hand for about a month, to the point that It was looking the time when Bart Simpson, after his neighbour spat in his hand, fast forward 4 months, and. Hogan would be involved in a sextape scandal. And three years after that, he would be involved in a race row, after the language that was used in the video, resurfaced. All of my illutions were broken, and I was forced to wash my right hand, man it was one dirty hand. My feelings towards Hogan have changed over the years, due to the fact that I think he's a compulsive liar, who's got awful opinions of ethnic groups. But, when you're a kid, you don't think your idols, can do no wrong, and then your forced to wash your hands with them, literally.

My Mum And Mae Young.

It was the year 2000, and I had just got home from school, all hyped to watch that years Royal Rumble. My mate Tim stayed up to watch it live, when it aired on channel 4 here in the UK. Channel 4 in the back end of 1999, secured the rights to show Sunday Night Heat, and four of the PPV's, this wasn't a great move, because. Mae Young got her delapitated coconuts out. It was the womens Bikini Contest. And yeah, as this happened, my mum was walking up the stairs with the washing, and as I kept shouting. No Mum don't come in, she said, but I need to put the washing on your bed, and I kept shouting. No don't come in, she completely ignored this, and her face said everything. We have never spoken about this incident since then. Channel 4 were also pissed at this, due to the fact that they weren't told about the spot prior, and all I have to say about that is this. Yes. the coverage wasn't well received by all in here In the UK, but it also showed what hypocrites they are, because lets not forget, this was the channel that showed the first ever lesbian kiss, on a pre watershed soap opera, plus they bought the rights to show programmes, like. The Sopranos, and, everyones favourite crying robot. Dawsons Creek, which were controversial shows stateside, for differant reasons. Don't get me started on how they treated Sunday Night Heat.

Backlash 2000.

Agh yes. WWE Backlash 2000, or as I like to call it. My brothers reign of terror over my families vcr player. My version of the show, got cut short, because i'm an idiot, and got the timings wrong, so I thought that I would reach out to my brothers black soul, and ask if I could borrow his copy, that he had taped, and of course the answer he gave was. No, so I decided to fight fire with fire, and swap his copy, with an episode of Gardeners World, his mates weren't happy, but I was delighted. Because I got to watch the whole uninterrupted, that was until he got home, and the biggest fight you could imagine ensued. I turned into shin Patrick, and battered my older sibling, there wasn't any blood, but quite a lot of kitchen utencils that got it.

AEW Collision Review 10.11.2024.

Intro.

Now that Winter is in full swing. This. Is Normally the time of year when wrestling loses its creative spark, but on the evidence of what i'm viewing week in, and, week out. I don't think, were seeing that this year, because, at the moment, i'm enjoying both company's output, at this moment in time. Say it with me guys. Sometimes it's good to be a wrestling fan.

The House Of The Black vs The Iron Savages.

The House Of Black, beat. The Iron Savages, in a flat TV Match, FTR then came out, and, both Cash, and. Dax, cut a sensational promo, ahead of their Match against them on Wednesday, in the Full Gear 4 way contenders tournament. I can't wait to see this match.

Lio Rush Segment.

Lio Rush, then called out Swerve Strickland, for a match on Dynamite this week, whilst flirting with the idea of joining MVP's Hurt Syndicate. All of this is intriguing.

Top Flight vs The Outrunners Full Gear 4 Way Qualifier.

I liked all of this. The Match physicality, was on point, and both teams showcased excellent chemistry. The Outrunners got the win, and I couldn't be more excited, my guys are going to Full Gear. My Friends Private Party watched on, from the top of the stage.

The Aclaimed Segment.

The Hurt Syndicate, tried to hire my mates The Acclaimed. Something tells me that their not being one over, anytime soon.

Roderick Strong vs The Beast Mortas.

Roderick Strong, beat. The Beast Mortas, in a flat TV Match, and was then taken out, by Lance Archer, on the orders of the Callis blinders. The rest of LFI weren't happy about this.

Marieh May Segment.

Marieh May, then told us exactly what she thinks, of the AEW womens division, and Womens wrestling as a hole, she's killed the industry, and the competion. Ana Jay then called her out, afterwards, with subtle fire, and grace. She will face Marieh again next week for the womens Championship, and if she loses, then she will compete for the AEW Womens Championship. Their match will be a No Dq Match. I liked all of this.

Kris Statlander vs Ashley Vox.

Kris Statlander, beat. Ashley Vox, in a flat TV Match. She was then attacked by Mercedes Mone, in the aftermath. This. Was what it was.

Jack Perry vs Action Andretti AEW TNT Championship.

I hated this Match. It felt slow for the first couple of minutes, and it didn't recover. Perry retained. Everyone sing it with me now. Postman Perry is a family guy, because he does all the things that make us, laugh and cry, because, he's a family guy. Daniel Garcia then came out, and cut a passionate  promo on him, challenging him to a match for the TNT Championship, at Full Gear. I liked this development. Perry said that Danny isn't ready. I sense a title change, because Perry's reign so far has been beyond flat.

Julia Hart Segment.

Julia Hart announced her return via some awful Teen Horror Movie tropes.

AR Fox vs Nick Wayne.

The son of Christian, showed that he was a chip off the old block, by insulting AR Fox's dead dad. Both guys had a decent TV Match, that was centered around, good old lst. Nick got the win, and then stapled a picture of his dad, to Fox's head, which dates back to the All In 2023 build. I liked this.

MXM Collection Segment.

Next week, these guys will be at ringside, for Johny TV's Match against Daniel Garcia. Oh Joy, he says.

The Deathriders vs The Conglomeration AEW Trios Championship Match.

I liked all of this, from the Matches within the Match being a fascinating sight. Mark Briscoe had some chair fun, and took out everyone. The exchanges were solid, as the mesth of teams styles, was a breath of fresh air. Mox, and. Marina, came out, this brought out Orange Cassidy, and. Mox looks like he's seen a ghost. Marina jams Kyle O'reilly in the stomach with that Championship Briefcase, and this allows Wheeler Yuta, to hit a bopsycho knee, on O'reilly for the win. Chaos then ensued in the aftermath as the broadcast went off the air.

Overview Of AEW Collision.

This. Was. A good broadcast, and. I had a lot of fun watching it, but the  womens squish Match. Jack Perry's awful TV Match, and. Roderick Strong, and. The Beast Mortas, having a flat TV Match, has left a bad taste in my mouth.

This weeks AEW Collision is a decent 6/10.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Review 9.11.2024.

Intro.

With Paul Levegues annual trip down chaos lane, fast approaching. I think this is a good time to take look at what he's accomplished. From the absolute disgrace that he inherrited, to the up turn in fortune, that he helped spherehead. This Is something that needs to be marvelled at, and be seen as a proud achievement. Yes, his interactions with the press, needs to be worked on, but overall he's done a great job in my opinion.

The Temu Bloodline Show Up.

The Temu Bloodline, were seen showing up, ahead of his acknowledgement ceremony, later on.

Roman Reigns Segment.

I loved Both of The Bloodline Segments, that appeared on this broadcast. This, as an opening segment, was sensational. Before Roman could even get a word out. Jey Uso came out, and brings out Sami Zayn, he told Roman, that he didn't kick him in the face at Crown Jewel, on purpose, but when he was in the ring with the rest of them, he felt something special, because he felt part of the family, and that he's got a soft spot for his former manipulator, as he put the thread of family into Romans head, because he wants the power, and the glory back. Sami explained how love and hate, isn't a thing, and that, love and indifferance is more common to this scenario, he then proclaimed that the ball is in his court, if he wants Sami to leave, then he will, but truth be told, he wants everyone, side by side. He then asked Roman to apologize to Jey, he said sorry, for allowing Jey to waste his time, saying that Sami isn't family, and called out Solo, but he was met by Jakub Fatu, who told Roman, that Solo doesn't jump, when Roman says anymore, because he is the tribal chief. Roman confronted Jey later on.

Bayley vs Candace Lerae.

Bayley, beat. Candace Lerae, in a solid TV Match, by roll up, this was decent.

Motorcity Machine Gunns Segment.

Johnny Gargano, had a backstage meeting with The Motorcity Machine Gunns, that pissed off Tommasso Ciampa. DIY, beat. Pretty Deadly, in a standard TV, match, and next week. The Motorcity Machine Gunns, will defend their Tag Teams Championships, against. The Street Profits, this pissed Ciampa off even more. The Motorcity Machine Gunns, beat Waller, and. Theory later on, in a decent TV Match, later on.

Bianca and Jade vs Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton.

I didn't like this. It felt way too predictable in everyway possible. Bianca, and. Jade got the win.

WWE Womens United States Championship.

The only thing that I have to say about this is. Well, it's taken them long enough.

Acknowledge Segment

This. Was. A sensational book end to a great show. Solo came out, and before he could get a word out. Roman walked out, he got straight to the point, and asked the fans in Buffalo New York, do they Acknowledge Solo? They answered no, and neither did Roman. Solo proceeded to flip the script, and said that if Roman can find four other men, then he and his crew would be ready to go to war, because his fifth member is Sami Zayn. Sami then came out, and stood at the top of the stage. The Usos came out, and Sami still stood there. The Temu Bloodline took control, and. Solo commanded Sami to come down, and kick Romans head off, but instead. Sami took out Solo. As the carnage subsided, all four original members, put there ones up in the air, as the show went off the air.

Overview Of WWE Friday Night Smackdown.

I had a lot of fun watching Smackdown this week, storylines have progressed nicely, and the in-ring work was solid.

This weeks WWE Friday Night Smackdown is a decent 8/10.

My Top 5 ECW Wrestlers.

Intro.

All I can say is that all five of these men, are way to violent for any cartoon, because they used to work for EEEECCCCWWW. Let's get into it.

5 Rob Van Dam.

I loved this guy, he always manages to raise a smile out of me. I watched him on a dodgy vhs tape, at my mates house, battering Taz. His athletic ability, needs to be studied.

4 Justin Credible.

In 1998 this man, to me was the inavator of juicing in matches, and at this time. I think this is when Blood in wrestling became normalised, in my opinion.

3 Tommy Dreamer.

They didn't call him the inavator of violence for no Reason. This. Man introduced to Hardcore Violence, in all forms of media.

2 The Sandman.

This guy was an insane lunatic, but there was always something quite endearing about him. I think it's because we both love beer, or maybe it's, that were both nuts. I don't know, i'll figure it one day.

1 New Jack.

Believe all the stories, because this guy was insane, and everything else that came with him, just made him more relatable. Was, he a bully? Maybe, and was he psychotic? Maybe, what i'm trying to say is this. He was a lot of things, to a lot of people. RIP New Jack.

My Top 5 Cringiest Moments In Wrestling.

      Intro.

Over the lasyt year, weve seen some pretty cringy moments in wrestling. I think that we can all agree, that this year has had it's fair share of those moments, and as history has taught us, the years haven't been kind, as to how we look at parts of time.

5 HHH vs Booker T.

The Wrestlemania 19 build, had its moments, that are etched in my brain, from The Rock, and Austin ending their rivalry, to out right racism. The conitations that surrounded HHH vs Booker T, is nothing short of horrific, and should never have been created.

4 Back Shaving.

The Revival shaving each others backs, and having Jimmy Uso see the horrorfying footage. I have no words.

3 Brawl In Footage.

This, was a thing in our year of 2024. Cm Punk went on the Ariel Helwani podcast, and spilled the beans on what happened backstage at All In, between him and Jack Perry, and gave not so great remarks about his former boss Tony Khan, calling him a nice guy, but not a boss, this sparked off a load of Rah Rah speeches, and childish reactions, and this was one of them, showing the security footage of what happened, was pointless, and only made Khan look Silly.

2 Mae Young Gives Birth To A Hand.

I needed therapy after watching this. A women gave birth to a toy hand on national TV. Just let that marinade. The Attitude Era people, it was a thing.

1 Ric Flair In A Mental Home.

Ric Flair in a mental home. This. Was. WCW, at it's most hurtful, and downright demeaning. I hated this then, and I don't like it now.

AEW Dynamite Review 7.11.2024.

Intro.

With Full Gear just two weeks away. I have to say. I'm enjoying AEW's TV output, creatively, yes there are marks, against the company's name, but overall, things are looking decent, with a lot of purpose, and excitement going forward.

The Hurt Syndicate Segment.

I love this new faction. Tony Schiavone tried to Interview MVP, and his new crew, who were suited and booted. MVP takes the mic, he calls for the fans attention, and got straight to business, putting over his gang of mercinaries, and he said that if you get an invite to join his crew, then you've won a Golden ticket, to hype up your own career, and if you don't want to join, then you will get the same treatment as Swerve, they showed the footage from last week, this brought out Swerve, complete with a chain, and he called out Bobby Lashley for a Match at Full Gear, this was later made official. I liked all of this.

Pac And Claudio Castagnoli vs Darby Allin And Orange Cassidy.

I liked all of this. From Darby taking everyone out from the top of the stage, and. Orange Cassidy, handing out Orange punches for fun, this had a great flow to it, and the pacing was spot on. The physicality was made the centrepiece, and it was great to see, the ending saw Mox. Marina Shafir, and. Wheeler Yuta, wreck everyone. Normally I would complain about endings like this, but when you think about it, this makes a lot of sense. Jon needs to make Orange look week, in order to get the best out of him at Full Gear, in their championship Match. This is actually a clever storybeat, when you sit back, and think about it.

Fight Without Honour Match.

Even though i'm not the biggest fan of Chris Jericho these days. I have to say. I liked this. It was a weapon induced fun match, filled with good chemistry, and well performed physicality. Ishii, and. Jericho had a chop battle, and made each others chests look like roast ham. Mark Briscoe, and. Chris Jericho, uttered this phrase in their own minds, 1 2 3 4 we declare chair war. Big Bill, and. Kyle O'reilly had a fight in the arena, which lead to an awesome table spot. Mark Briscoe got a sweet near-fall, when he gave Jericho and elbow drop, from the top of a ladder. Ishii, got the pin on Chris, to give his team the win.

Adam Cole vs Malakai Black.

Adam Cole, beat. Malakai Black, in a slow burner of a Match. The fans were dead for this, and if i'm being honest, I don't blame them, this felt like both men were feeling each other out, and it ruined the Match in my opinion. Adam then called out MJF in the aftermath, and he said that he has spoken to Tony Khan, and he told him, that if he and Roderick, win their last match, he will face him, and. Strong in a triple threat match, at. Full Gear. I liked all of this. MJF was then seen in his layer necking some red wine, and making a call, this was later confirmed to be Damn It Don Callis.

Jay White Segment.

Jay White, and Hangman Adam Page had a fight, complete with Juice Robinson, my inner Harry Hill loved this.

Kris Statlander Segment.

Kris Statlander was run over by Camille, as Mercedes Mone berrated her. This was a bit reminiscent of when Stone Cold Steve Austin, got run over. Stat will face Mercedes at Full Gear. I liked this.

Christian Cage Segment.

I'm not going to go into two much detail about this because, if i'm honest, i'm not a big fan of this storyline. Yes. it was performed, it's just not for me.

Penelope Ford vs Jamie Hayter.

Jamie Hayter, beat. Penelope Ford in a flat TV Match, that wasn't given enough time to breathe. Do better AEW. I mean it's been five years.

Continental Classic Announcement.

The Continental Classic is coming back, and Okada is taking part, this is going to be good.

Kyle Fletcher And Konosuke Takeshita vs Ricochet And A Mystery Partner.

I liked all of this. Ricochets mystery partner, was confirmed to Powerhouse Hobbs, and I'm so happy to see him back, the Matches within the match, and the solid layout, made this Match an enjoyable watch. Ricochet got the win, by pinning Takeshita. The aftermath descended into chaos. Cage, and. Archer came out, to help their family members. Adam Cole thought Konosuke, and a returning Will Osperay made the save. Cole will face Konosuke Takeshita, next week.

Overview Of This Weeks Dynamite.

I liked this weeks Dynamite. The Matches went from good to great, and the promos were solid.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

Monday Night Raw Review 6.5.2025 Superstars Seen Showing Up. Iyo Sky. Otis, and. Rusev were all seen showing up to the arena. These guys had...
