My Top 5 Royal Rumble Events.

Intro.

It's no secret that I love The Royal Rumble. It's my favourite PPV of the year, and it almost never lets me down. ( Almost he says )

5. The Royal Rumble 2005.

The show, wasn't very good, it's just worth to watch an awful human being, completely badgering his knees.

4. The Royal Rumble 1999.

The He Who Shall Not Be Named's saga against Stone Cold Steve Austin, and. The Rock vs Mankid, in an I Quit Match. I had a blast watching this a 11 year old.

3. The Royal Rumble 2023.

Both men, and womens Rumble Matches delivered, the return of Cody Rhodes, and of course. Sami Zayns turn on The Bloodline. I loved this event.

2. The Royal Rumble 1998.

The Undertaker getting buried alive. HBK suffering that awful back Injury, and. Austin winning the rumble.

1 The Royal Rumble 2000.

From Mae Young causing multiple people to go into therapy. The Rock Controversially winning the Rumble, and of course HHH vs Cactus in that glorious Street Fight. Please Channel 4, can I have another.

My Top 5 AEW Rampage Matches, And Moments

 Intro.

I have a soft spot for this show. I don't know what it is about this show. It acts like a nice mug of Hot Chocolate, whilst walking home from my day Job. AEW Rampage you shall be missed.

5 Kenny Omega vs Christian Impact World Heavyweight Championship.

I liked this. It was a great look at what this show could look. This Match was solid.

4 Bryan Danielson vs Minoru Suzuki.

This. Match was a fluid, majestic masterpiece. If I could describe what pure gold looks like, in the form of a wrestling Match it would look like this.

3 Eddie Kingston Calls Chris Jericho Live On Air.

This. Was pure comedy. I don't know what else to say, other than I pissed myself laughing.

2 Jon Moxley vs Wheeler Yuta.

This. Was my favourite TV Match of 2022, and I still go back and watch it now.

1 Cm Punk

From his First Dance debut, to his epic feuds against Eddie Kingston, and. MJF. It all went downhill  after this.

My Top 5 Takeaways From AEW Worlds End.

5. It's Great To See JR Looking Healthy.

I'm just going to say it. It's great to see JR back, and looking healthy. It's not been an easy year for JR, and it's nice to see him with a glow.

4. MJF And Adam Cole Needs To Be Left In 2024.

It's clear that I have not liked this feud of late, yes the Match was good, but it managed to lower its own standards, by giving AEW's critics rope to hang the company with. This was the second Match on the card to feature blood, which is a critism that has plagued the company since it's early days. Too much, could be overkill.

3. The Women Nearly Stole The Show.

Both of the Womens Matches on this card were a study in contrast. From the brutality of Thumbtacks, to the awesome physicality, and superb chemistry, from both sets of Ladies. Both Womens Matches, nearly stole the show.

2. The Returns.

Adam Copeland is back, and of course, there's one more guy, but more on him in a minute.

1. The Continental Classic.

These Matches were another example of two things, being a study in contrast, both Matches felt differant, yet the outcomes weren't just gratifying, they were awe-inspiring. Osperay vs Fletcher, was a bloodsoaked masterclass in booking, whilst Okada vs Ricochet was a stiff fluent battle. Will, and. Okada won their Matches, setting up a mouth watering final, and it didn't disapoint. The Near falls, and all round execution, was simply stunning. Okada got the win, with his rainmaker finisher, and then it happened. Christopher Daniels came out onto the stage. He told Okada that as of today, he was no longer an EVP, so he couldn't hand over the Continental Championship to him, but he knew someone who could. And out he came. Kenny By God Omega. This. Was an awesome stand alone moment in time, as both faced each other, this isn't just a tease, it's a promise, that makes me very excited for AEW in 2025.

My Top 5 Moments In Wrestling That Made Laugh My Ass Off.

                Intro.

I have lost count how many times, that I have cried laughing whilst watching Pro Wrestling. From the insane, to the damn right funny, welcome everyone to My Top 5 Moments In Wrestling That Made Me Laugh My Ass Off.

5 Stone Cold And Booker T Fight In A Supermarket.

What can I say about this, other than it had me howling with laughter. It makes me wish that this could happen during my weekly shop around Tescos, on a Friday Afternoon.

4 David Flairs WCW In The Year 2000.

WCW in the year 2000, was the gift that kept on giving, and I mean this in a good way, because David Flairs character, made me laugh all the time, during this time period.

3 The Rock And William Regal Segment From Thanksgiving Smackdown 2000.

This Segment was pure comedic Gold. The words Candy Bum will always make me laugh

2 Eli Drake The Dummy Count.

TNA/Impact Wrestling in 2016. If you didn't find this funny then you're a dummy yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaah,

1 Shoes Of A Champion.

If the dummy count is in second place, then this had to top the list. Christmas time is here again. What's on my feet. Shoes of a champion. A new year, brings in new goals, and what does that sound like. Goals more like Gold, yeeeeeeeeaaaah. Never change LA Knight.

My Top 5 Wrestlers Who Visibly Couldn't Stand Working For WCW.

         Intro.

Back in the mid nineties WCW  established itself as a major competitor, to. He Who Shall Not Be Named's Evil Empire, with talent going back and fourth from both company's, to the ground breaking emergence of The NWO, but when new things start up, you can't please everyone, and these were just some people, who couldn't hide the fact, that they hated their employers.

5 Scott Steiner.

This one spoke for itself, just take the remote, and turn over the channel, and watch Stone Cold Steve Austin, because WCW sucks. Yeah. Big Poppa Pump couldn't hide his displeasure for the company.

4 Bret Hart.

Just read this guys autobiography, and you will see what i'm on about. Bret has never hid his feelings about WCW.

3 Bobby Heenan.

I don't know what make of this, but if you go back and watch his commentary, alongside Tony Schiavone, and you could tell these two hated each other.

2 Eddie Guererro.

From being buried in the midcard, to falling out with Eric Bischoff. I'm not suprised that he and the Radicalz left.

1 Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Just watch his promos when he was in ECW, and go and look at his demeaner, when he had to cut promos on WCW TV, when Hulk Hogan made his debut. Over the years Steve has openly talked about his distain for how the company had treated, and it showed that he had become a forgotten toy, because a newer toy, had taken his place.

My Top 5 Favourite Matches Of 2024.

Intro.

This year has been remarkable, from the aspect of moments, and Matches leaving us all, with the feeling of complete amazement. IThis think this year has been a solid one from the aspect of in-ring work, with some Matches making me feel whole. These are my top 5 Matches.

5 Marieh May vs Toni Storm AEW All In.

I'm going to be a bit biased here, because I was In attendance for AEW All In. This Match was one of many highlights on the PPV, and in my opinion. It was the best womens Match this year.

4 Will Osperay vs Bryan Danielson AEW DynRg that it left me with. Just fighting spirit magic.

3 Will Osperay vs Pac AEW All In.

I loved this Match, it was fast paced. it was fluent, and it was a vital master stroke in booking, that we all needed.

2 MJF vs Will Osperay AEW All In.

Like I have said before, i'm going to sound a bit biased, because I attended AEW All In, and this was my Match of the night, next to Danielson vs Swerve. This Match is the reason why I love Pro Wrestling.

1Drew Mcintyre vs Cm Punk Hell In A Cell WWE Bad Blood.

Cody, and. Roman may have headlined the PLE, but it was Drew, and. Punk that stole the show. This is one of the best Hell In A Cell Matches in recent years. From the majestic, bloodsoaked story, that the Match followed, to its execution. This. Was perfect.

My Top Best Wrestling Moments This Year.

Intro.

Ok, we've done the bad, so I better give you guys a big bag of sweets, so here's the best moments.

5 Cody Rhodes Finishing His Story.

This had me crying, because it was a life affirming moment, that only sport, and entertainment can create, however due to reasons beyond HHH's control, this brought in the new era not in sports entertainment, but in pro wrestling. So everyone, what do you want me to talk about.

4. The Rise Of Swerve Strickland In AEW.

In terms of building up new talent. AEW has capitised, at a time when WWE is starting to look for it's series of main eventers. Swerve Stricklands rise this year has been awesome to watch unfold. His Matches have been solid, both on TV, and PPV, and to think were only just getting started, because for Swerve it's onwards and upwards.

3 Cm Punk And Drew Mcintyre Had A Match Of The Year Contender.

From the Summerslam Match, being met with a tepid response, their Bash In Berlin Match, having its critics, to this, a bonafide classic, that redifined 5 star classic. This. Is one of my PPV Matches of the year.

2 MJF vs Will Osperay.

This Is another Match Of the yearc contender. I'm going to sound a bit biased because I was in attendance at Wembley Stadium for AEW All In, and this was a highlight. Just pure perfection all round if you ask me.

1 Hangman Adam Page vs Swerve Strickland Rivalry.

This Match in my opinion, is still helping to bring in AEW's Golden age of grotesc, from its levels of high octane violence, and blood, to the end of an era defining storyline. When AEW get it right, they kill it.

AEW Dynamite Review 8.5.2025. Hangman Adam Page Segment. Once again i'm skipping the intro, because this episode doesn't need an in...
