My Top 5 Royal Rumble Entrants.

Intro.

Just giving you guys a heads up, this weekend on the blog, i'm going to be having a bit of a love in, due to The Rumble, and you know what, it starts here. So here's a list of my top 5 of my favourite Royal Rumble Entrants.

5. Santino Marella.

Agh yes. Santino Marella, my favourite false Italian, the time when he was eliminated from the Rumble by Kane, in quick time, still makes me laugh.

4. Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

I have to put this guy on this list, he won the 1st ever Rumble, and by all accounts he the nicest person to ever ride a double decker bus. Gob bless you Hacksaw. Hoooooooooooo.

3. John Cena.

In 2008. John Cena made his comeback, from an awful pectoral injury, an injury that would keep a normal athlete out of action, for up to nine months, but. Big Time John, came back in just five, this guy isn't real, for someone who can't be seen

2. AJ Styles.

In 2016. Kevin Dunn, clearly didn't want none, because all we saw, was a suprised looking Roman Reigns, still it was cool seeing AJ Styles in a WWE ring.

1. Edge.

This. Was. Easily the best thing about 2020, as for the rest, well, we all know how that turned. This. Was an emotional moment that I would never forget. Edge was back, and it was great to see.

My Top 5 List Of Wrestlers Who Made Dodgy Commercials.

Intro.

Wrestlers over the years have made, some pretty bad acting endeavours, from films, to. TV Shows, and then there's, of course. Adverts, and oh my there's been plenty of Bad adverts, featuring Pro wrestlers, so lets take a look at some.

5 Chris Jericho Taco Bell.

It's no secret, that I love fast food. Taco Bell is slowly becoming my new favourite chain, however this advert staring Chris Jericho, is just plain bad. And  it leaves me feeling unhungry.

4. The Ultimate Warrior Ford Dealer ships.

Ok, i'm just going to say it. No thank you. I don't want to buy a car from an awful person.

 3 Terry Funk Car Salesman.

It's true Women love men with cars, ( or so I hear ) When Terry Funk says he has a message for the ladies, men you need to listen. In the late nineties he did a series of commercials for his local car dealer. What a nice guy RIP Funker.

3 John Cena Subway.

Whatever you do. Don't Google the man next to Big Time John, oh boy this was bad.

 2 Sgt Slaughter Local Steakhouse.

Kids if you don't eat your greens, this guy will come for you. Sgt Slaughter advertising a Steakhouse, is a sight to be seen.

1 Hulk Hogan Right Guard.

Oh my, this is so appropriate. Given the fact that he has a lot of stench against him, after his appearance on the Raw debut on Netflix. I think he could use a product like this, to get rid of the stench that he created. I hate Hulk Hogan.

AEW Dynamite Review 30.1.2025.

   Intro.

In just over two weeks, AEW will be heading Down Under, for the 1st time, but as they say goodday for the 1st time, the gaping holes, in their creative is becoming more, and, more evidant. Tony Khan has said, that he has gone back into the weeds of his own Company's creative, and I think this is a good idea. Back in late 2019, he made the decision, to cut down his creative team, because, he felt like their was two many cooks, ruining good meals, this has needed to happen, for quite some time, and. I welcome this change.

Will Osperay vs Brian Cage.

I liked this. As an opening Match, this worked, from. Damn It Don Callis taking to the mic, and showing Will footage of a battered Kenny Omega backstage. Will sold the look of confliction perfectly, as the fast paced fluidity of the Match, took centre stage. This. Was. A perfect look, at how you book, differant sizes. It's not an easy thing to do, and both men made this look easy. Will got the win, after an awesome final exchange. Lance Archer, beat Will down in the aftermath, leading Kenny to make the save, ( as if by magic ) but, the numbers game caught up with him, as The Don Callis took him bown as well. Am I the only one, who thinks that Kenny Omega is like wrestling's answer to Jean Claude Van Damme?

Hangman Adam Page And MJF Segment.

Renee Paquette tried to get a word with Swerve Strickland, but instead, she found a frantic Hangman Adam Page, she tried to get a word with him, but he was more interested in squiring up to MJF. Renee tried to speak to Max, but all he said was, that he had an offer for Jeff Jarrett, that he can't pass up.

Powerhouse Hobbs Segment.

Ok, i'm now scared of Powerhouse Hobbs, I think he just threatened to Murder Big Bill, on live TV.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Jeff Jarrett.

I have mixed feelings about this Match. On one side, the Match had good physicality, but it also had a dodgy finish, as Moxley, and his crew helped Claudio get the win, when Claudio gave Jeff two immobilisers. He was left in the centre of the ring, and then in comes my other mind, out comes MJF, and this restored my faith with his promo. Jeff got back to his feet, and. Max knocked him back down, when he punched him, with a stiff right, that was balanced out with the Dynamite Gold Ring. And all he said was this. He respects his elders, but he told Jeff, that this would happen. This. Was. A real Mix-bag.

Ricochet vs AR Fox.

This. Match. Was a lofi burner, that reminded me, that sometimes, you need Matches like this on a broadcast. Ricochet got the win, and then nearly embraced his inner Jeffrey Dalmer, and brought out his scissors. Swerve stopped this from happening.

Learning Tree Segment.

I have two thoughts on this segment, my first one is this. Jericho's new movie looks awful, and this is coming from a big Horror. Sci Fi, and. Comic Book fan, and the other one is that. Tony Khan must be paying The Olsen Twins a boat load of money, to use the term. New York Minute. Chris Jericho, and. Big Bill vs The Outrunners on Collision, should be fun though.

Jay White vs Wheeler Yuta.

Even though some of this Match was a bit of a stagnant affair. I do also think that this Match was an interesting mental game of chess, that was actually quite enthralling, when you dig beneath the surface. Jay got the win with his Bladerunner finisher, he was then greated by Moxley, and his crew, he was attacked by Claudio. Rated FTR made the save, and. Dax Harwood took to the mic, he spoke about his idol one half of The Rock'n Roll Express. Dennis Condry who was in attendence, and then challenged The Deathriders to a Mid south Street Fight on this weeks Collision. I like this development.

Marieh May Segment.

This. Was. Excellent. Renee Paquette, got to have a few words with Marieh May. And from awkward swearing, to getting to the point. May cut down Toni Storm in the only way she could, with Visceral nastiness, and, humiliation, embrace her everyone, because she's our AEW womens champion. This. Was excellent.

The Gunns Are Coming Back.

The Gunns are coming back, oh yay, oh joy. The Gunns are coming back. I can't wait. In the words of Homer simpson. If you can't tell. I'm being sarcastic.

Taya And Deonna Segment.

I might have hated this segment. I love the fact that these two were dressed up like Neo from The Matrix.

Mercedes Mone vs Yuka Sakazaki AEW TBS Championship Match.

I liked this Match, but It shouldn't have main evented, the Match had a solid flow, that allowed the Match to breathe. Both ladies showcased each others momentum, this gave the Match a main focus, and it was great to see. Mercedes retained, after a great final exchange. The near falls were well placed. It's just a shame that these ladies didn't open the show.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

Even though this weeks Dynamite, did showcase its gaping holes, for the world to see. I did have a good time watching it. But the big question is this. Can AEW fill in, and fix their gaping holes, and problems? At this time. I remain positive, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 7/10.

My Top 5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw 28.1.2025.

       Intro.

It's Rumble week, and this guy, is as excited like a kid before christmas. I love The Royal Rumble, it's my favourite event of the year next to WrestleMania. So with that said, what were the highlights of the go home edition of Monday Night Raw, let's get into it.

5. Pat Mcafe Shuts Michael Cole Down.

Pat Mcafe silenced Michael Cole, after he tried to rap. God bless you sir, every fan thanks you for this.

4. The New Day Suck.

Even Xavier Wood's family hates him, and. Kofi, for what they did to Big E, it's one thing for the fans to hate you, but your own family, well that's unforgivable.

 3. JD Mcdonaghs Injury.

Even though, i'm not the biggest fan of JD Mcdonaghs, for reasons I can't talk about on the internet, but the injury he suffered here, on this night, looked bad. He was taken to hospital afterwards.

2. So Many Rappers.

Quavo. Lil Yachty, and. 2 Chains were all seen throughout the broadcast, having a lovely old time.

1 Punk vs Cody.

I loved this ending segment. It was perfect, and the vice versa story that both men told, was awesome.

My Top 5 Moments In TNA That Wouldn't Work Today.

         Intro.

From its inception, to breaking new ground in the world of Pro Wrestling, and creating new stars, that would go on to change the industry. From the likes of AJ Styles. Bobby Rhode. Samoa Joe, and. The Motorcity Machine Gunns, however, they've got some skeletons in their oversized closet, from Matches to moments, to some segments that went way to far. So lets go, and take a look 5 moments, that wouldn't work today.

5. Bully Ray Gets In The Face Of Christy Hemme.

I hate these type segments. In a backstage segment at the Victory Rd PPV from 2010. Bully Ray could be seen getting in the face of Interviewer Christy Hemme. I know this was completely in character, but still. I hated this then, and I don't like it now.

4. Austin Aries Gets In Christy Hemme's Face.

This took place at a house show, and it's as bad as it sounds, she mistakenly got the name of Austin Aries Tag Team wrong, when he was partnered with Bobby Rhode, he could be seen berrating her, whilst thrusting in her face. I'm not the biggest fan of Aries, and this makes me feel sick.

3 Ric Flair vs Jay Lethal.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing. These two faced each other at 2010's Victory Rd. Over the 10 years that followed, both men would be accused of abuse, and sexual assault.

2 Mr Anderson Ass Cheeks Promo.

Victory Rd 2010 wasn't a great time piece, for the Nashville Promotion, yeah this promo is unwatchable by todays standards.

1. Claire Lynch.

This storyline was insulting to my senses, yes it gave us a great Christopher Daniels vs AJ Styles Match, but this story is highly inapropriate, and offensive to those who can't have kids. Yeah this was bad all round.

My Top 5 Five Takeaways From WWE Saturday Nights Main Event.

         Intro.

With this being the second edition, of WWE taking us on a trip down memory lane, I had a great time watching this show. but overall what did I think of the show, well, lets take a look.

5 Please Don't Stream This Show On Youtube.

I'm not a fan of WWE Streaming on Youtube. I don't know if it's because I've become used to the Netflix way of life, or if its brought out my own hypocrisy, because I want to show ads on this page, I just think Youtube ads are annoying, and this made watching the broadcast not a great experience.

      4 I love Jessie Ventura.

I love this man, can I have more Jessie Ventura on my TV please. Hearing this mans voice is like a nice trip back to my childhood.

3 The Contract Signing.

The Contract Signing between Cody Rhodes, and. Kevin Owens was awesome. I'm not the biggest fan of Contract Signing segments. Normally they feel forced, and pointless, but this one felt relevant, and fresh, and with the added sprinkling of HBK. I came away from this feeling very sports entertained. Well done boys.

2 Legends In Attendence.

Dory Funk Jnr. Alundra Blaze. Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and. The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, were all seen at ringside. Seeing Jim Duggan, and. Ted Dibiase, made me feel like a child again.

1. Braun Strowman vs Jakub Fatu.

If this night made a star, then Jakub Fatu is his name. My God. This Match may have been thrown out, but it did the job. Jakub is the guy. This Match resembled two big boys, doing big boys things, and it was great.

Top 5 Wrestlers Who Had A Never Say Die Attitude.

Intro.

Wrestlers are a special breed, that come complete with a work hard attitude, that is unparallel in their efforts, injuries can happen in a split second, and usually some individuals make comebacks in record time, so this is my list of wrestlers who brought up a never say die attitude.

5 Kenny Omega.

From helping change the industry, with every 5 star review. To his best fight against diverticulitis, and then going on to have a Match of the year contender, against Gabe Kidd, at NJPW, and. AEW WrestleDream, earlier this month. This man literally faced death, and he kicked its arse.

4 John Cena.

In late September of 2007, the man who is supposed to be invisible, suffered an injury, seperating the pectoral muscle completely off the bone. This would set a normal athlete back at least 9 months, but mr big time returned in less time, 5 months to be precise. His comeback at the 2008 Royal Rumble is a moment in time, that no fan would go on to forget.

3 HHH.

From having to come back from two career threatening injuries, to reclaiming his spot at the top of the mountain, on two ocasions. He wasn't called The Game for no reason.

2 Bryan Danielson.

From claiming wrestlings biggest prize at Wrestlemania, in a time, when the smaller guy was an after thought, to fighting back after a series of injuries that kept him sidelined for 3 three years, to the overwhelming joy of his comeback at Wrestlemania 34. His run in AEW did see the end to his full-time in ring career, but even in those times, we proved that in life you shouldn't give up on what you want.

1 Cody Rhodes.

From getting his release from WWE, which lead to him going on to change the world, by setting fire to the indie scene, having a nice time with his friends in NJPW, which led to them shaking up the system, to him coming back at Mania 38, this lead WWE down, arguably one of its best creative states, a story started after Cody got released back in 2016, and it ended last year at Mania 40. Life is for living, and the term Pro Wrestling is here to stay, as the ashes of an awful old man, were started to get swept up in the air, and float away, never to be heard of again.

My Top Reasons Why Wrestling Is Important.

    Pure Escapism.

For the 1st time, i'm forgoing the intro, because I don't feel it's nescicary for this piece. In life, we all have our vices, whether it's watching Downton Abbey ( my Mum ) or watching horse racing. ( my Dad ) were all differant. My vice is Pro Wrestling. ( and Comic books. Horror And Science Fiction Movies, and TV Shows ) It's just differant, and in a world, that is filled with false manifactured, stunts that get served on social media, there is just something refreshing about watching a basic form of physicality. The day to day grind can be tough, and over the top exhausting, but if you have something to look forward to, then life can be good, a wise man once said, that life moves fast, and if you don't stop once in a while, you might miss out.

Heroes And Villains.

Tom Hanks once said, that life is like a box of chocolates, Because you never know what you're going to get, well I think that's a half truth, because in life, you're always going to come across people you like, and some that you don't, so in some cases, you do know what you're going to get that's life. In wrestling this is no differant, you have the ones you like, and you cheer them on, and you boo the ones you don't. For instance i'm a big fan of Kenny Omega, and I can understand why he's not everyones favourite, and my least favourite wrestler is Charlotte Flair, but I can also understand why others like her, were all differant.

Lifelines.

It's no secret that Survivor Series 2002, and a good ear from a friend saved my life, and truth be told, if you're in that situation, then don't be scared to stand up tall, and find a way to move forward. You can do it. It's in you to succeed.

I Just Love Wrestling.

Wrestling is like listening to your favourite band, for me it's a mixture between Pearl Jam, and. Metallica. I can't explain why I love wrestling I just do. It's wrestling

My Top 5 Times Wrestling Made Life Better.

   Intro.

I think it's easy to say, that in life we all have our ups and downs, ( slap my head ) and all we have are the things that we enjoy, these are the top 5 times wrestling has made my life better.

5 Pandemic Days.

In the times of uncertainty that the world faced, back in the early stages of 2020, wrestling made things easy for me to cope, as everything else seemed to be bleak. Knowing that I could come home, and escape into something, that was completely make believe, made me feel whole, especially when the likes of the Stadium Stampede, and the over the top Money In The Bank Match, gave me a mental break from what was going on in the world.

4 Shortened Work Hours.

Back in 2011, my work life was well out of balance, my hours were on the verge of getting cut, from the retail job, and I was in a financial hole. I'm ok now, but these times were really bleak, so one day when I got home. I went up to my room, and found an amazon Parcel on my bed. It was a TNA dvd, a double feature no doubt. Victory Road 2010, and. No Surrender 2010. And this made me feel a bit better. Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy anyone, now if that Match doesn't make you feel better, then I don't what to say to you.

3 Getting Bullied At School.

My school days, weren't exactly easy, due to the fact that, me, and my friends were easy targets for Bullies. I had many outlets, to release what I was going through, which came after I opened up to a friend about I was going through. Even though I grew up a massive comic book, and. Sci Fi fan. ( I still am ) It was wrestling that pulled me up from dirt, as the world, and the preasure that I was feeling, started to ease.

2. 9.11.01

This. Was A day in time, when the world turned cold, as the news unfolded. I couldn't help but feel confused, because I couldn't understand why anyone would do this. As the coming days went by. I watched the Smackdown episode, that happened 2 days after these events. And for the first time in two days. I felt normal, because I watched not just a group of fans, but a country come together, to say enough is enough. I never saw my best friend Tim cry before, until this moment, and you know what was so great about this, it was the fact that we all felt the same way.

1 Whenever Things Get Tough.

I have no other words, other what can I say, we all have our vices, mine is Pro Wrestling. I love Pro Wrestling.

My Top 5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw.

    Intro.

I have to say. I'm enjoying WWE on Netflix. It's easy to use, and I can find things easily, in comparison to the old school network, and as for the weekly TV out put, well lets get into it.

5 Drew Mcintyre vs Seth Rollins Fell Flat.

I was disapointed with this Match, Now don't get me wrong. I was feeling unwell when watching this, so this might play a part in my analysis, but overall I thought this was a bit of a letdown.

4 Gunther vs Jey Uso Is Going To Be Special.

I have no other words, other than this segment was great, and I get the feeling that Jey is going to be swung around like a wet towel come Saturday.

3 Sami Zayn And Kevin Tore Apart Their Promo Segment.

Their back and forth, was superb, and as Kevins Bret Hart get up, well, as an old school Bret Hart stan, my heart skipped a beat. I loved this. Mania feud me thinks.

2 Penta Has Catherine Wheel.

Look everyone Penta has a Catherine Wheel. Am I the only person who thinks that WWE have completely Malibu Stacey'd Penta, he's still the old Penta that you love, but he has a new hat, in the shape of a Catherine wheel that is.

1 I love Cm Punk.

Like the title says. I love Cm Punk for these reasons. He completely buried an awful human being, and his beer, that no one cares about.

     AEW Dynamite Review 23.1.2024.

     Intro.

This week has been one of split ups, and misinformation, going around running wild, with a hint of a good old fashioned burial. As Grandslam Australia looms around the corner. I do think it's important for AEW, to deck all their cards in a row, and when they get knocked down, see which one stands, and use the ones that remain up, it's a card game version, of the spinning plate trick, that Tony Khan has used, when it came to booking last years All In London. I think this is a perfect way to elevate talent, and the booking, won't suffer as a result.

Will Osperay And Kenny Omega Face To Face Segment.

This. Was. A white hot opening. From both men having a great promo dual, that delved into their history, and the added mix of Damn It Don Callis, and his gaggle of heels was great, and for made for awesome TV. Don got chased off the stage, and then it happened, an all out brawl. This. Was excellent. Lance Archer, and Brian Cage, tried to Murder both Will and Kenny. As the fight broke out across the arena. Kyle Fletcher, and. Konosuke Takeshista, had fun beating Will, and. Kenny. Merch got ruined. Lance Archer got put through a table, by. Kenny, and. Will, and then their was that awesome spot, when Both Kenny, and. Will performed Moonsaults from off of some truss's, and my god it was great. Kenny then took to the mic, and challenged. Kyle Fletcher, and. Konosuke Takeshista, to a Tag Match, at. Grandslam Australia. I loved all of this. Now this is how you bid the fans adue with a BANG. Kenny By God Omega is back folks, and it's glorious.

           Jon Moxley Segment.

Did Jon Moxley, just threaten murder Adam Copeland on live TV? Well they've been doing this for months now, so it wouldn't suprise me.

The Hurt Syndicat vs Private Party AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Ok, I'm not happy that my guys Private Party have been done dirty, when it comes to their booking, but if your going out, then you need to go out swinging, and they did. I Liked this Match. It wasn't perfect, but it did what It needed to do. Get the belts off of my guys. Yes, it's great to see The Hurt Syndicate belted up, but in my opinion, it's covering a gaping hole. AEW's Tag Team Division needs a massive reset, due to the atrocious booking, and, creative that Private Party were given.

Toni Storm And Harley Cameron Segment.

Toni Storm, and. Harley Cameron, this was hilarious. I loved this. I only have one word. Strooth mate.

    Jeff Jarrett Segment.

I have mixed feelings about this segment. Jeff Jarrett is a great stand alone act, and this shone through here. His drive, and, passion was on full display, and that's great. I just felt that some of his words fell a bit flat. His references to an awful human being, was a disgusting reminder, that this industry is full of hypocrisy. But I do feel these converstaions need to be had. He then called out Jon Moxley, and then business picked up. Moxley didn't come out, instead we got Claudio Castagnoli, who dropped Jeff with quick effect, and told him, if you want to get to Jon, then you have to get through him first. Jeff then challenged him to a match next week, and if he wins, then he gets his shot at Moxley.

Swerve Strickland vs AR Fox.

Swerve Strickland, beat. AR Fox, in an ok TV Match, that was riddled with heelish antics from Wrestlings answer to Jeffrey Dalmer. Ricochet. Prince Nana, held him off with a Led pipe, and then got bullied later on. This pissed off Swerve, who then cut a scaving promo on him later on.

A New York Minute.

This Learning Tree Segment was terrible, but the promise of Big Bill vs Powerhouse Hobbs sounds good. How much money is Tony Khan paying the Olsen Twins?

MJF Segment. ( And So Much More )

I liked this. Mjf came out, and went into the business of slamming Jeff Jarrett. He wanted an apology from Jeff, for not wanting his help, he stated that manipulation is the key, and his work hard and get more TV time, because he thinks the fans love him, would work, when they actually don't, and that he should've done a deal with the devil, instead of defying him. Max told a jobber to get out his ring, before he could get going, this took time away from Hangman Adam Page, who came off, and faced off with Max. Christopher Daniels then came to let Hangman Know, that he retired him, after their Match last Saturday. Hangman sold the look of anquish, and upet well after he smashed his jobber, and was then told this news. Hangman vs Adam Page vs MJF, at a leter date. spinning plate effect people.

Mercedes Mone And Harley Cameron.

If Mastercard made wrestling segments. Harley Cameron, and. Mercedes Mone, is just  priceless. I laughed my ass off watching this.

Jamie Hayter vs Julia Hart.

I liked this. The Match had a decent flow, and, the physicality was great. Hayter got the win, and then cut a promo on Hart, that alluded to a potential 3rd Match. All of this was promising. A video then aired of the new Hounds Of Black, this to me confirms that Malakai Black, is either leaving, or has left AEW. Which is a shame in my opinion.

Adam Copeland vs Pac.

This. Match did what it was supposed to do, however it wasn't without its complaints, which are the same ones that always go around the internet. Tony Khan's graphic has given away the result, and it's two WWE guys headlining weekly TV. I don't think that this the case. Copeland said that when he joined AEW, he wanted to work with Talent, some of which had been under utilised, this is the perfect case when it comes to Pac, he's never been the guy, and some would say that he still isn't. To me this is a veteran, who wanted to help, a talent who needs to be looked at with a differant light. The Match was fine, and Adam got the win. In the aftermath Moxley was seen murdering The Midnight Express, with a steal chair concerto, a move that he Adam made famous, whilst FTR were tied up, this allowed Mox, and co, to act like a gang of Hyenas, and attack him. As Mox, and mates, ate well. Jay White returned to save Adam from a beat down, that allowed the show to fade to black.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

Minor flaws to one side. I liked this weeks Dynamite. I had watching it, as I ate muffins for my breakfast. Fun times were had by me.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 9/10.

Top 5 Crowning Achievements In Wrestling.

Intro.

As a fan of this industry, for over thirty plus years. I've seen multiple achievements come to groundbreaking fruititon. From a Showstopper achieving his childhood dream, to a worded chant, giving fans a voice, when they felt voiceless.

5 Cm Punk.

Cast your mind back to 2011, and. WWE's scope, and look, on how they were perceived by large parts of their own fanbase. It was bleak, however. It wasn't all bad, because out from mess of bad creative, stood a man, that captivated an entire fanbase, and me crave an ice cream bar. Cm Punk, his long title reign, that dominated the summer of 2011, to his always endearing, straight to the point cult of personality, made for great viewing. PipeBomb, he's a crowning achievement in himself, when you dig beneath the surface.

4 The Rise Of Alternative Company's

What do. AEW, and. TNA, have in common, they both tried to show their hand in competing against the mighty WWE. Don't get me wrong. I think having these company's around in 2025, does make the industry healthier. I think their back story's make for an interesting tail, from Jeff Jarrett burning his bridges with WWE, to a brash group of NJPW's finest, wanting to shake up the industry. Both company's had turns on taking on the then evil empire, with constrasting results. So everyone, what do you all want to talk about.

3 HBK Mania 11.

As an awful persons voice, could be heard at the end of the main event of Wrestlemania 11, the world echoed out a cry, that I felt with all fans, across the globe. A boy hood dream had come true, as the tears ran down HBK's face. Shawns personal at the time, was in a differant place, due to his ever growing problem with addiction at the time, as the years rolled on, Shawn turned his life around, after a back injury sidelined him, for over four years. He came back at Survivor Series 2002, and won the WWE's main prize, this is something that turned my life around, when it was at it's lowest.

 2 Daniel Bryan Wrestlemania 30.

Confetti. Connor Malik, and the words yes yes yes, if I could put all of these things into one word. Priceless.

1 The End Of A story.

Cody Rhodes, finally finishing his story, wasn't just a moment in time, it was a changing of the guard. Sports Entertainment was out, and Pro Wrestling was in, as the echoes of a disgraceful human being, was slowly being eradicated. On this night Adrenilin was in all of our souls. This Night was a perfect booking masterclass.

Top 5 Wrestlers Showed That They Didn't Care.

          Intro.

Wrestlers not caring, is something that isn't new, regardless of the promotion that they work for. I just think it makes for unsettling viewing, but sometimes these moments can make history, and change the face of how look at a certain performer. These are five times wrestlers couldn't hide their frustration, with the promotions that tried to bury them.

            5 Kevin Owens

In late 2021, reports came out that Kevin Owens wasn't happy, as his contract with WWE was coming up for renewal. Looking back on these times. WWE's creative wasn't very good, infact, as an old school fan, it was awful, and you could clearly tell that Owens wasn't happy. It was hard to for me, because, about a year before all of this came about, I was in the same type of situation. Things did improve, as time went on.

4 Bret Hart His Entire WCW Run.

None of this went well at all. I could pick several moments in which His Excellentcy was annoyed, because there was so many moments.

        3 Hulk Hogan.

The back end of Hogans WCW Run, screamed of I just don't care, The creative was bad, and the all round feeling, surrounding the promotion, was languishing. Bash At The Beach could have been avoided in my opinion.

    2 Britt Baker.

This one, kind of upsets me. because she's one of my favourite womens wrestlers to watch, but the last few months of her run in AEW didn't go well, as reports of her having attitude problems, came to light. Now don't get me wrong. I know she's had things going on, outside of the ring, so that may have had a hand to play, but it didn't hide her lack of uninterest in what she was doing. Case and point. In October last year, she had a Match on Dynamite, against another one of my personal faves. Sarena Deeb, and, well, yeah her face said everything.

     1 Cm Punk.

This pains me to put this man on the list, but he's had moments when he didn't care. His backstage diva antics, when he was with AEW, to the infamous title unification segment from Monday Night Raw in December 2013. Were do I begin.

      AEW Collision Maximum Carnage Review.

           Intro.

This is going to be my intro for this week. God bless you Christopher Daniels. I met this man last year at All In, and he couldn't have been nicer, I've been an admirer of his work for many years, and it was great to see him get his flowers, even though it was for the last time. God speed my Fallen Angel.

           Opening.

Rated FTR. Kazuchika Okada. Christopher Daniels, and. Hangman Adam Page, give there thoughts on their opponents, before the show began.

Texas Deathmatch Hangman Adam Page vs Christopher Daniels.

I loved this Match. It was a bloodsoaked masterpiece in TV booking, both men had fun with bardwire, complete with sickening table spots. Daniels put up a great fight, as the blood dripped down his face, his energy drained from his body, until the final moment when he couldn't get back up from a deadeye. He missed the 10 count, because exhaustion took over his body. Hangman saw someone who could be looked at as a mentor, out to pastures new, and it was an emotional watch. God bless you Fallen Angel.

Toni Storm Interview With Tony Schiavone.

All throughout this. Toni Schiavone must've felt like he had gone backwards. Toni Storm sold her amnesia perfectly, and the look on Tony Schiavone's face said, well, ok then. Storm gave her thoughts on Marieh May, and the pair will meet next week on Collision. I have to say I liked this. It made me laugh, after a long day in my day job.

The Hurt Syndicate Segment.

The Hurt Syndicate want Gold. I don't blame them, but it also says a lot about the state of AEW's Tag Team Division at this moment.

Undisputed Kingdom vs The Infantry and Lee Moriarty.

This Match had me thinking. Be still my Black'n Gold loving heart. The Undisputed Kingdom, beat The Infantry, and. Lee Moriarty, in a solid TV Match.

Will Osperay Segment.

Will Osperay will meet Kenny Omega, on this coming weeks Dynamite, and all I have to say is hurry up Wednesday.

Lance Archer And Brian Cage vs Top Flight.

I didn't like this. Top Flight are better than being used as predictable fodder. Archer, and. Cage got the win.

The Acclaimed Are Done

I'm not sure what to make of this. The Acclaimed are no more. This was a decent segment, that took me back to the days of watching WWF Sunday Night Heat. Max called out Anthony Bowens, and both men had a good seperation promo dual, that left Daddyass, to try and sort out the pair, however this backfired, because. Castor told Bowens to pick a side, and he chose Billy Gunn, this pissed Max off, who was made to do the walk of shame, as he solked back up the ramp, like a sibling who has been left out, at a birthday party. This was, what it was.

Swerve Strickland Segment.

Am I the only person, who thinks that, he's going to kill that Jeffrey Dalmer wannabe Ricochet?

Tomohiro Ishii vs Kazuchika Okada Continental Championship.

This on paper looked like a banger, but what we got was an intricate TV Match, that played into both mens hands, Big Tom got injured at the halfway point, and helped carry the Match to what was a solid TV encounter, Okada retained with his rainmaker finisher.

Dustin Rhodes vs Adam Priest.

Dustin Rhodes, beat. Adam Priest in a fairly standard TV Match, that did nothing for me.

Julia Hart vs Harley Cameron.

Julia Hart, beat. Harley Cameron in a flat TV Match, like the before, this did nothing for me.

Rated FTR And The Outrunners vs The Learning Tree And The Deathriders.

I'm in two headspaces, when it comes to this Main Event. One part of me liked this, and the other part of me, thought it was just something that passed me by. The Matches within the Match, were great, the spots were well placed, and the in thread storyline of Hobbs getting taken out by Chris Jericho's crew, beforehand, made for a chaotic story, and him getting the win for his team, when he came out, and getting the win, by giving Bryan Keith a spinebuster. Was a clever move, Oh well at least that kid who was sat at ringside, who gave him a piece of his mind, was funny.

Overview Of AEW Collision Maximum Carnage.

I thought this broadcast, was a varied mix-bag, that only half of the show sat well with me, their was bits I liked, and their bits, that made me want to bang my head against a wall.

AEW Collision Maximum Carnage is a low 7/10.

      Smackdown Review

    Intro.

I love wrestling in January time. The Royal Rumble is just around the corner, and the fan in me gets very excited, and this year is no exception, the list of stars, who are entering the Rumble, is starting to look pretty stacked, if you ask me.

Commentator Walk Through, And Superstars Seen Showing Up.

I liked this. Joe Tessatore, and. Wade Barrett, were given the walk through treatment, as they showed the superstars showing up. Tiffany Stratton. Bayley. Jimmy Uso, and. Carmelo Hayes, all showed up.

       Rey Mysterio Segment.

Rey Mysterio in his home town, announcing he's in the Royal Rumble, what could be better, well, what about a promo dual with Kevin Owens, well if you ask, you shall receive. I liked all of this, both men get in there licks. KO paid respect to Rey, as both men went through all of there achievements. KO asked Rey, when he wins the Rumble, he would love to face him for his stolen belt. Rey told Kevin that he's delusional, just like his son The Human Oven. This pissed off KO, who then started a fight with Rey to end the segment. I liked this. Nick Aldis, told Rey later on, that he will face KO later on. Both Cody, and. KO both refused to sign their Match contract for their Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble, so at Saturday Nights Main Event, their will be a contract signing, and Sanantonios very own Shawn Michaels, will host the segment.

Nia Jax And Candace Lerae vs Naomi And Bianca Belair.

Naomi, and. Bianca Belair beat. Nia Jax, and. Candace Lerae, in a standard TV Match.

Bayley Meets Byron Saxton.

Bayley, had a one on one walk through arena interview with Byron Saxton. I liked all of this.

BFab. Michin. Piper Niven, and. Chelsea Green Segment.

I hated this segment, and what it brought in later on, was pathetic. Piper Niven beat Bfab in woeful Match.

Jimmy Uso vs Carmelo.

The Match was going fine, that was until. The Temu Bloodline came, out and got the Match thrown out. What came next was an impromptu promo segment. Jakub Fatu tried to rally the fans, to get behind his leader, but after a chorus of fan backlash. Solo was seen to be walking out. LA Knight then came out, and had a fight with Tama, and. Braun Strowman had a face off against Jakub Fatu, they will face each other next week, at Saturday Nights Main Event. I wasn't a fan of this. It all felt a bit to convoluted to me.

Motorcity Machine Gunns vs Los Garza

Motorcity Machine Gunns, beat. Los Garza, in a solid TV Match, that was riddled with Interfereence from Pretty Deadly. Apollo Crews tried to give both of my Country's finest gentlemen, some advice, after DIY went back on their word, and got decked by Johnny Gargano for his troubles.

Rey Mysterio vs Kevin Owens

This was a fluent masterstroke in solid TV booking. Ko got the win. in a Match that was riddled with Family insults, and the  mocking of old friends. Cody saved Rey from taking a Piledriver. The Match had superb physicality, that was matched by some sensational exchanges. I liked this.

Bayley vs Tiffany Stratton WWE Womens Championship.

I liked this. Both ladies worked hard to bring out the best in one another. The exchanges were great, and the physicality was on point, but it was little Tiffy, who retained her belt, with her pme finisher.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

I had a great time watching this weeks edition of the blue brand. The Storylines flowed nicely, and the action was decent in most areas.

This Weeks Smackdown is a solid 8/10.

My Top 5 Maxican Wrestling Icons.

      Intro.

As a british wrestling fan for over thirty years, I have always found Mexican Wrestlers, to be something to be looked at, from the way that they were mistreated on midard, meaning they had a wall placed in front of them, and as the industry changed attitudes changed, as harmful stereotypes were made a thing of the past, as the likes of Rey Mysterio, and. Eddie Guerro, changed the face of the industry, because in the early 2000''s oh these times they were a changing.

       5 Mil Mascaras

This Man was a mark of possibillities, as he has paved the way for multiple talents to follow in his footsteps. Mil was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2012, and it was well deserved.

   4 Juvetude Guerra.

This. Man was the WCW midcard in the mid nineties, and this was unfair, because he was that good.

                                                         3 Thunder Rosa.

Thunder Rosa, is one of my favourite wrestlers working today, and the fact that she is a beacon for if you want it bad enough, you can achieve anything. Puts her on this list.

 2 Eddie Guerrero.

From his physicality, to his all round passion, that speaks volumes, to this day, past the mans death in 2005. He came through the otherside of addiction a better person, and showed that, anyone can overcome hardship, and prove to the world, that seconds chances in life, can be pivotal, and completely affirming.

1 Rey Mysterio.

Who's that coming out the sky. A complete legend that's who. I'm a big fan of this man, his influence, and, passion for this industry is something that he wears on his ring gear, as he takes the fans on a fun ride.

My Top 5 Takeaways From AEW Dynamite Maxinum Carnage.

 Intro.

Apologies for not doing a full review, this is due to my work schedule, and the fact that i'm fighting back a cold, hasn't helped proceeding at all.

5 Moxley vs Hobbs Over Delivered.

I liked this. The Match was complete over delivery, even though Tony Khan did shoot himself in the foot with that Collision graphic. I had fun watching this. It was a bloodsoaked TV Masterstroke, that worked, so this asks the question, does backwards booking work?

4 The Womens Casino Gauntlet Match.

I liked this. Even though this Match needed to be better placed. It was a well paced fun affair. The interluding storylines was a nice touch, a returning Megan Bayne added an extra layer of suprise, and having Toni Storm win, made sense, with the direction that AEW is taking their womens division.

3 MJF vs Jeff Jarrett Segment.

I loved all of this, from the fragments of addiction, to telling home truths about each other, this is clearly the direction the company is going in, as they head down under. Strooth mate. MJF is going to hang with some wallabies.

2 The Hurt Syndicate vs Private Party And Mark Briscoe, Was A Letdown.

I have no other words, because in my opinion this was a real let down. It's a shame because Private Party are my best friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Private Party last year, at a All In pre show fan meet up, and they couldn't have been nicer.

1 Kenny Omega Is Back.

Kenny Omega is back, and my God it's great to have him back. He won't be bidding us a due any time soon. His Match with Brian Cage was a great reminder of this fact.

My Top 5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw.

    Intro.

I'm loving the WWE on Netflix. I never thought that I would enjoy it as much as I am, but here we are. So here's my thoughts on this weeks Monday Night Raw.

5 I'm Not A Big Fan Of The Miz.

Sami Zayn, made The Miz look very average. I know what you're thinking, thats not exactly difficult.

4 Lyra Valkyria Is Our 1st Womens Intercontinental Champion.

She's the right choice, that's all I have to say. I mean I'm part Irish, so I have to repressent my Irish breathryn.

3. I'm Done With Finn Balor vs Damien Priest.

I'm completely over this storyline, and in all honesty, we need to leave this in 2024. Along with Liv, and. Rhea.

2 Penta Is Raw'All Elite.

I loved this. I know it wasn't to everyones tastes, but hey. Can we all just rejoice in the fact that Penta is in the Fed.

1 The World Thanks All 1st Responders

Sometimes in life, when our world leaders don't stand up for the small guy. Wrestling does. Well said Punk. Well Said.

My Top Reasons why I Love Pro wrestling

        Intro.

Pro Wrestling, the one vice, that has never in some ways let me down, Even when the WWE was in one of its many poor creative eras, that has carried on until this very day. I mean in the words of Barry Blaunstein. I don't know why I like it, I just do, because it's wrestling.

5 Pure Escapism.

It's a known fact that, a lot of people watch Pro Wrestling. It's the perfect remedy, cure for a long day, picture the scene, if you were a working man, back in the days of the attitude, and your boss was giving you a hard day. You could turn on Monday Night Raw, and watch. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Punch, a disgusting human being, who was his boss, and you could just imagine him doing this on your behalf.

4 Schoolyard Bullies.

It's no secret on these pages, that I was bullied at school. Wrestling was a huge outbreak for me, just knowing that I could go round my mates, and completely escape into the arms of the fed. Sometimes it's the simple things we all need.

3 You're Never Alone If You're A Wrestling.

All I have to say is this. Never a truer statement has ever been said. If you join any fandom, you're never alone.

2 Entertainment Is The Key.

As a fan of Pro Wrestling, for over thirty years of my life. I have been asked one question. Why do you watch this? And my answer is always the same. In the UK we have soaps like Eastenders, and. Coronation Street, and I always say, why do you watch these shows, and my friends and families answer is always, entertainment. And just like that they realise, i'm right, we're all differant.

1 I just Love It.

Like I said before. In the words of Barry Blaunstein. I don't know why I like it. I just do. It's wrestling.

      AEW Collision Review 12.1.2025

        Intro.

Harley Cameron. Marieh May. Chris Jericho. Big Bill. Cope, and. Dax Harwood, gave their thoughts on their opponents.

      Cope vs Big Bill.

This. Was a lot of fun, and a great opener, from the solid physicality, that came with a solid balance, between storyline, and in ring styles, Cope gave a Bill a running powerbomb, followed by two spheres, that Bill kicked out of. Cope got the  win, by doing his best Jon Moxley impersonation. The Learning Tree, then beat down Cope in the aftermath.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

Hangman Adam Page, then challenged Christopher Daniels, to a Texas Deathmatch next week, at Collision Maximum Carnage. The Fallen Angel accepted the challenge later on. This was awesome.

Pac vs Komander.

I have no other words, than. Komander is awesome. Pac got the win, in what was a fun match. Claudio Castagnoli, and. Wheeler Yuta, came and taught Komander a lesson, don't mess with The Deathriders, they then committed the ultimate sin. They beat The Outrunners in a standard TV Match. They beat The Outrunners, boo his boo.

Powerhouse Hobbs Segment.

I can't wait for this wednesday, Hobbs is going to make Jon his bitch. I love Powerhouse Hobbs.

Harley Cameron vs Marieh May.

This Broadcast had a few low points, and this was one of them. I didn't like this. I felt pedestrian, and it couldn't recover. May got the win, this was a let down.

Brody King vs Trevor Blackwell.

Brody King, beat. A local enhancement talent called Trevor Blackwell, in a squash Match. Cope vs Brody King at a later point. Yes please.

Daniel Garcia vs Katsuyori Shibata TNT Championship.

I liked this. The Physicality was solid, the main frame of the Match was centred around, both men having a chopfest, and Shibatas headkicks. Garcia retained his belt in what was a solid Match.

Dax Harwood vs Chris Jericho.

This. Was. A complete mess from start to finish. Jericho got the win. The Learning Tree, beat. Dax down, and Jon Moxley attacked Cope, as the show went off the air. I hated all of this.

Overview Of AEW Collision.

I don't know what to make of this broadcast. It felt like a varied mix bag, that disguised it self as sweets, but what I got was peanuts.

This Weeks AEW Collision is a mid 5/10.

 WWE Friday Smackdown Review 10.1.2025

No Intro.

Ok guys, there's going to be no intro this week, instead, all i'm going to say is this. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with the residents of the state of California. I hope you all are safe, and well. And remember to keep wrestling extreme. The state of California stay strong, and remember, you will find your feet again.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Tiffany Stratton. Shinsuke Nakamura, and. Paul Heyman, were all seen showing up, to the arena.

Paul Heyman Segment.

Paul Heyman came out, and. The Wiseman was in a celebratory mood, this was due to the measure of business, going back to normal after Monday nights Victory, for his Tribal Chief. He got straight down to business, and shared news with us fans, about what Romans next accomplishment will be, so he called out Cody Rhodes, and shared the news, that Roman will be entering the 2025 Royal Rumble. before Paul told Cody this, he plagued him with a plethora of compliments, as he laid respect on Cody thick, he then asked Coby, what did he want to talk about, but he couldn't get a word out, because Kevin Owens came out, and told Cody some home truths. Ko could be seen as forshadowing what could happen to Cody, after shaking hands with a couple of devils. This caused KO, and. Cody to fight in and amongst the fans, this gave breathing space for Jakub Fatu, and. Tama Tonga, to isolate Paul, threatening to attack him, that was until. Jimmy Uso came out and made the save. I loved this development. Security failed to deal with the Temu Bloodline, so LA Knight did.

Michin vs Chelsea Green WWE United States Championship Match.

Chelsea Green, beat. Michin, to retain her United States Championship, in a fun TV Match.

Los Garza vs Pretty Deadly.

I don't blame Nick Aldis, I mean if I had four Tag Teams all complaining. I would book a convoluted series of Matches as well, the first one was this complete misfire, and, well, yeah, this wasn't great. Los Garza got the win.

LA Knight vs Shinsuke Nakamura United States Championship Match.

I liked this, until it was thrown out, thanks to the Temu Bloodline. Cody Rhodes, and. Jimmy Uso came out to make the save. Cody then challenged both. Jakub, and. Tama, to a Tag Match against him and Jimmy, this would act as the main event.

The Motorcity Machine Gunns vs Atown Down Under

This was a fast paced, waste of time, that saw the Machine Gunns get the win.

Tiffy Time.

Our new WWE Womens champion was out next, to be interviewed, by Byron saxton. I wasn't a fan of this. The whole thing turned into a pointless promotrain, that acted as convoluted way to get to a fatal 4 way, between. Bayley. Naomi. Bianca Belair, and. Nia Jax, the scripting from all four ladies was woeful, however, that sweary drop that Nia dropped, was funny. Aldis got bored of all of this, and saved my sanity by booking the Match, for that second. Bayley got the win, in what was a satisfying TV bout.

Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso vs Jakub Fatu And Tama Tonga.

I don't know what to make of this. I thought this Match was all over the place. Distractions, and, post fights, made this a predictable end, to what was a drab edition of weekly TV. The Match was flat from the start in my opinion, and it never recovered.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

I thought that this broadcast was all over the place. The action was a mid affair, as the promos went from awesome, to poor.

This weeks Smackdown is a solid 5/10.

My Top 5 Wrestling Comebacks Off All Time.

      Intro.

What is the definition of a comeback? This is the question that i've asked myself, as I sit here writing this mini list, so with that question lingering in the air, and coming off the back of The Best Bout Machine, having a steller moment of beautiful clarity in Tokyo, this past Sunday. I decided to take a look at this subject. So here goes nothing then.

5 John Cena Royal Rumble 2008.

When this happened. I couldn't believe my peepers. We were told, that in the September prior to this, that his injury would quite substantial. Peck toral injuries are always known to be bad, so to see him come back this quickly, was a sight to be seen.

4 Sting AEW Winter Is Coming 2020.

I only have this to say about this comeback. IIIIIIIIIItttttttss SSSTTTIIIIINNNNG.

3 Daniel Bryan.

2018 was an awkward year for the WWE, they came ubder fire, when they took 2 shows over to Saudi Arabia, and their creative got even worse, which started a domino effect, that would last for the next couple of years, but in the March of this year they were offered a lifeline, and it came in the shape of one word. Yes, and one sentence. You are cleared. Enough said.

2 Cm Punk The Last Dance.

I watched this, with tears in my eyes, because I never thought this would ever happen. Cm Punk in an AEW ring was a sight to behold, even though his time with Tony Khans little promotion that can, went off a cliff, and never recovered, his time in AEW in terms off in ring work, was nothing short of excellent.

1 Kenny Omega.

His Match from this weekends NJPW, and. AEW WrestleDynasty, against Gabe Kidd, which is a Match of the decade contender in my opinion, and his return promo from this weeks Dynamite, was nothing more than exceptional.

Thursday, 9 January 2025

AEW Dynamite Review. The Kenny Omega Return Edition 9.1.2024.

      Intro.

It's the first week of 2025, and well, nothing has happened, umm, if you believe that, then, you'll believe anything. NJPW, and. AEW WrestleDream saw two Match Of the year contenders. Ricochet vs Zac Sabre Jnr, and of course. Kenny Omega, and. Gabe Kidd, having a Match of the year contender, and then on Dynamite, it happened.

Will Osperay vs Buddy Matthews.

I liked this. From the fast paced tempo of the Match resembled a car wreck, in the nicest way possible. Both men had fantastic transitions, and this elevated the violence of the Match, to a romantic level. The near falls were well placed, and superb. Will got the win, with a hidden blade, and in the aftermath, took to the mic, and put over Buddy Murphy, I mean Matthews, in a nice touch of class.

Private Party Segment.

Private Party, had a segment, in which they were in a celebratory mood, that was until. The Hurt Syndicate showed, and urinated on their chips ( metaphorically speaking ) because Bobby wants Tag Team Gold. Ok my thoughts. I hated this, because they're doing my best friends Private Party dirty. This was a poorly conceived idea. Bobby Lashley then wrecked Mark Briscoe in a fun Match, with the hurt lock. I would never be down on Mark Briscoe having some fun at this time off year. Private Party saved Mark from a beat down in the aftermath.

The Mens Casino Gauntlet Match.

I liked this. I'm not the biggest fan of TV Gauntlet Matches, but this was a delight, from Hangman and Jay white delving into their history. Ricochet trolling the fans, and. Jeff Jarrett, and. Wheeler Yuta taking each other out, but it was Powerhouse Hobbs that got the win, and will face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship, next week. I think Hobbs is going to make him his Bitch.

Jeff Jarrett Segment.

Jeff Jarrett's segment, was swiftly interrupted by MJF. This segment was excellent. It managed to hit several high notes with me, from bashing religion, and insults, coming in with a hint of the truth. Max told the fans that Jeff has signed a new deal, but it's only for one more year, because the industry thinks that's all he is worth, and when he wins the big belt, he wants to be 1st in line. Jeff cut him down with kindness, and called him a one hit wonder, whilst hinting at his failed oppotunities, and said that he's going to make the most of 2025, and he wants nothing to do with a self entitled p**** like Max. I loved this.

Rated Superstar Cope Segment.

I liked This. It felt vital, viscerile, and important, as he spoke about how he has come through the worst, and has never stopped fighting, from a broken neck, to a broken leg, to taking things taking a personal turn, when the deathriders went after his friends FTR , he then asked Moxley the question, what's the worst he can do. Mox and his family came out, and were taken out by FTR, Cope, and. Mox then had a minor fight, this allowed Marina Shafir, and Pac, to level the playing field, this gave Mox the chance, to threaten the bag treatment. Hobbs stopped a beatdown. So far this was the best thing on the show.

Harley Cameron and Marieh May Segment.

Marieh May, and. Harley Cameron had a fun segment, that worked to make me laugh.

Willow Nightingale vs Kris Statlander vs Toni Storm.

I liked this. From the solid physicality, Ian Ricobani thinking that he's the real Slim Shady, to Statlander getting kicked in the gooch. Statlander got the win, in what was a great TV Match.

The Return Of Kenny By God Omega.

All of this was incredible, from his presentation, his new entrance, he's back everyone. The Best Bout Machine, is back, and he's even more reinvigorated than ever. He was visibly emotional from the start, as he talked about the news that kept him sidelined for over a year, to the life affirming rollercoaster ride, that has led him to this point, he pushed himself, and asked some difficult questions, and his Dr told him, that he might not be able to lead a normal life, so he took the unsafe route, he questioned his purpose on this earth, and came to one conclusion, this is his purpose, competing at the Tokyo Dome is his purpose, because to quote The 1975. It's not living, if it's not without us, the fans. Don Callis then came out, to welcome Kenny Back from the dead. Kenny chased him away, and got caught by. Brian cage, and. Lance Archer, who then beat Kenny down, and a running out Kyle Fletcher came out to have some fun. Will Osperay made the save, and then faced off with Kenny, as the broadcast came to an end. This is how you create the Pro Wrestling version of the spinning plate trick, and my God it's glorious.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

I had a blast watching this weeks Dynamite, the segments went from poor, to great, to awesome, and the in-ring work, followed the same suite, but I do feel that AEW still has some issues that need ironing out.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 9/10

My Top 5 Takeaways From WWE's Monday Night Raw Debut On Netflix.

    Intro.

So a couple of days have gone by, since WWE, and. Netflix's ultimate plunge, took shape, and, well, it was a thing, that's all I can really say. So here are my top 5 Takeaways from the show.

5 Don't believe Everything You Think.

The internet is a weird place. The Rocks Return, has sprung fans into a state of confusion, and um, unrest, because he buried Cody, and then turned face by acting like his bestie friend. His promo was electric, but. I feel some fans are taking things too far. When Roman won the Tribal Combat Match, he placed the Ulufala over his cousins neck, which to me is a set up for what is to come. Dwayne might not be at this years Mania, but overall this is a clever way for someone to play their joker Card. The story must continue.

4 No More. I Can't Take It Anymore.

Ok, the guy i'm going to mention, i'm only talking about is due to the fact the segment was awful. Please WWE, don't put Hulk Hogan on TV again, he stumbled through his words, he can hardly walk, and this awful human being was booed out of the building, due to his racist antics over the past ten years, catching up with him. I bet his beer tastes awful. I mean I hope so.

3 Celebrating With A Deadman.

Rhea Ripley celebrated her championship win with The Undertaker. It happened, umm, ok. I guess. Say it with me everyone. Keep rollin rollin rollin.

2 Brother Meets World.

Topanga, from Boy Meets World was seen sitting next to her brother in law, and all this left me thinking, was. Does Cory know about this. I hear this left Macaulay Culkin shocked.

1 The Last Go Around.

I'm just going to say it. Love him, or hate him. I love John Cena, he may not be a master between the ropes, but on the mic, he's an electric soul, that always delivers. His passion, fire, and, grace for the business, to some, make him wrestlings equivalent to a jar of marmite, but to me, he is, what he says he is. A man who isn't just a catchphrase, he's a walking talking sign, for anything is possible. his time is ending, and it starts now.

My Comparative AEW And NJPW Look Back.

No Intro

The Stark Awakening This Industry Needs.

Even though this weekend saw some excellent Matches, this PPV double header wasn't without its issues. The best fans reception towards females competitors, came from America. Willow Nightingale, and. Athena, are good examples of this, the dice got reversed one night beforehand, when Shota Umino got heat from the fans in attendance, this was placed onto his opponent Zac Sabre Jnr, who the fans were also cold towards.

Grass Is Greener On The Following Night.

The second night saw some genuinely awesome action, two Match of the year contenders, in my opinion, two men battering each other, and of course there's Kenny Omega vs Gabe Kidd, this was miles better than night one. I love wrestling for these moments, and events.

Can NJPW Learn From Their Night 1 Misfires?

Well in short, yes. Nothing is out olf the realm of possibility. In life, you only get what you put into things. NJPW had the best of intentions for this weekend, but if you're going to reignite fans interest, then in my opinion. don't hold two shows back to back, because you need to let your audience have a chance to breathe.

My Top 5 Insights From NJPW Wrestle Kingdom.

       Intro

As the decades have gone on, Time hasn't been kind to NJPW, for a plethora of reasons, but if the new year has taught me anything, it's that you can't stay buried in the past, you have to look to the future, and as I sit here writing this, having just watched the 19th rendition of Their flagship show. I'm coming away from it with a solid sense of hope, that the promotion is going to be ok.

5 My Big Boy Is In NJPW.

Big bad Josh Barnett is back in NJPW, and should NJPW be scared, well what do you think?

4. Four Way Tag Team Ladder Match For The IGWP Belts Was Insane.

I liked this. The Match between Clark Connors, and Drilla Mohoney, vs The Sweet Boys, vs The Intergalactic Jett Setters vs TJP, and Francesco Akira, in the realm of a Ladder Match, was insane, arguably one of the best Ladder Matches i've seen in ages, man this was cold as ice.

3 NJPW Television Championship Was Great.

El Phantasmo vs Ryohei Oiwa vs Jeff Cobb, vs Ren Narita, and all I have to say is this. Hold my beer, because this had me shouting at my Chromecast. Enough said.

2 Hiroshi Tanashi vs Evil Lumberjack Was A Good Time.

Hiroshi Tanashi, the man, the myth, the legend, this Match was a lot of fun. I love wrestling.

1 Shota Umino vs Zac Sabre Jnr.

Even though this Match wasn't a critical darling, due to the poor crowd response. It did offer up some great physicality, and some absolutely incredible exchanges, which added an element of romance, and drama to proceedings. Zac got the win.

My Top 5 Takeaways From NJPW And AEW WrestleDynasty.

    Intro.

As this time of year comes around, what used to be the norm, was to look at what NJPW were going to offer us fans, and this year, that feeling has been ignited in me. I could talk about the down turn that the company has seen in recent years, but that's already been well documented, so i'm going to focus on what was in front of me, because this was a beyond solid card.

5 The Womens 4 way Match For The International Cup.

I liked this. In this Match there was some stand out performances, and the Matches within the Match, like Willow Nightingale vs Persephone, and. Mono Wantanabe vs Athena, made for a fascinating insight, however what we got was a reminder that Womens wrestling isn't just vital, it's needed.

4 Ricochet vs Zac Sabre Jnr.

This. Is. A Match of the year contender, as men both gave everything in order, to create a form of magic, that's difficult to muster up, but these two did it effortlessly. I loved this Match.

3 Katsuyouri Shibata vs Hiroshi Tanahashi.

5 Minutes of two men bombastically smacking the taste out of each others bodies. Perfect, just perfect.

2 Shota Umino vs Claudio Castagnoli.

I don't think this Match gets the love it deserves. My god these guys leathered each other.

1 Kenny Omega vs Gabe Kidd.

This. Is. A Match of the decade contender. This. Was a flawless, majestic, contrast in bloodsoaked storytelling. Both men were a study in contrast. This wasn't one man making another man, it was one man taking another man to the next level. Every hit that Kenny dropped, was performed with ease. Kenny hasn't lost his step, and. Gabe was a perfect foil. Both men battered each other, to the point of no return, dodgy table spots, and unprotected chair shots, all added to the romance of the occasion. Omega got the win, after a fantastic series of incredible exchanges. I think this is one of the best Matches I have ever seen. Hiroshi Tanahashi was in tears at the conclusion of this masterpiece. Pure liquid Gold was created in Tokyo last night, because. Kenny by God Omega is back.

My Wrestling Hopes And Fears For 2024.

Intro.

With WWE's  live TV move to Netflix just two days away at the time of writing. I feel that it's important to levy out the playing field. The industry is everchanging, and as the years unfold, the shape of Pro Wrestling will change, and it all starts here. 2025 lets go.

AEW Needs To Come Back To Prominance.

It's no secret, that within the last couple of years. AEW has faced it's form of self implosion, that has wreaked havoc, in the terms of the company creative, and the overall feel, towards how the product is viewed. I want to see them put there best foot forward, and give things a red hot go, because there are things to get excited about, when you dig beneath the surface. Darby Allin potentially winning the main prize. Will Osperay putting on even more earth shattering Matches, and the mouthwatering prospect of Kenny Omega, rematching Kazuchika Okada, and. Gabe Kidd, later this, after this weekend. Oh my brothers and sisters testify, because ALL In, and. Forbidden Door, are starting to look appealing.

My Excitement Levels Are Starting To Reach Fever Pitch.

2025 in the realm of Pro Wrestling, is looking to be very exciting. WWE on Netflix, and. AEW, carving out their own path, in all shapes of the game, not to mention TNA Impact, making significant moves, in there own right. This. Is. Going to be a pivotal year.

Fears

My Fears for this year, come in the way of creativity. Last year, both WWE, and. AEW, showed some pretty sketchy plans, when it came to there creativity. 2025, needs to be a restart year, for both companies.

WWE On Netflix My Top 5 Takeaways.

      Intro.

With the TV Market everchanging, it's important that studios, and distributors stay ahead of the curb, as multiple competitors, try and vye for our attention, like us consumers are the prettiest girl at the dance. Almost one year ago. WWE announced that their flagship show. Monday Night Raw would be heading to Netflix, with the WWE Network closing down in certain markets, including my neck of the woods, the UK. New Years Day, when I got home from my day job, was a lot of fun.

     Old School PPV's.

Be still my old school Fed loving heart. Every Wrestlemania. Every Royal Rumble, including the one from the year 2000. Near enough all PPV's from this time period. I ate a chinese whilst watching the Royal Rumble 2000, so with that said, you could say, that there's more than one way to get well Fed.

    PLE's And Live TV.

Over here, in my country, were getting every TV show live, and every PLE Live, this means one thing. My intake of sweets, and crisps is going to go through the roof.

     Is It Worth The Hype.

Is it worth the hype, well umm, let me think, Oh my God yes it is. I'm going to have ours of fun with this weekend. I'm going to feel bloated.

AEW Dynamite Fight For The Fallen Review 2.1.2024.

         Intro.

It's 2025, and in this early stage of the year. It's nice to see the wrestling world show its heart, and soul. The area of Ashville in North Carolina, has gone through hell over the past year. From true hardships, to the ever growing show of support. This. Is wrestling in it's purest form.

       New Theme Song.

The Pointer Sisters song. I'm So Excited, is the new theme song for AEW Dynamite, and all I have to say, is that. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm So Excited. I'm so scared. I LOVE YOU JESSIE SPANNO.

Mox Promo.

I loved this. It was visceral. And it was vital. Mox called out Adam Copeland, as he took us on a journey, from the start of AEW, through the pandemic era. to the current day, because as he stands, he wants to takeover the company. Rated FTR, answered this back, right afterwards.

Orange Cassidy vs Hangman Adam Page.

I liked this. The Match was a superb reminder of just how great these guys are. Their physicality was on point, and their chemistry was on another level. The near falls were great, and the final exchange saw. Hangman get the win, and attack Cassidy with two deadeyes. Christopher Daniels tried to intervine, but as a result, he got decked.

Jay White Segment.

Jay White, said that he will beat. Roderick Strong, and. Swerve Strickland, to advance to the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royal. Roderick Strong, and. Swerve answered this back later on, oh and. Happy New Year, to as well Nana.

The Acclaimed vs The Hurt Syndicate.

I didn't like this. The thread of seperation has been done to death, and if i'm honest i'm bored of it. The Match was flat in my opinion, and it never recovered. But at least we were treated to MVP on commentary. Max Castor was choked out by Bobby Lashley. The Hurt Syndicate got the win.

Jamie Hayter vs Julia Hart.

I liked this Match, but. I just feel that there was something. Hart got the win. I know it's a hot take. I just can't get my head around the fact there's something missing from this Match, in my opinion.

Kenny Omega Vingnette.

Kenny Omega is back. Sunday when he faces Gabe Kidd is going to be epic. I can't wait to see It.

Mercedes Mone Segment.

Mercedes Mone, then gas lit the fans, by showing the fans a video, of how great her year was. ( umm ok. She didn't have a great year in the ring ) And on Sunday she's coming for Mina shirakawa's RevPro Championship. I didn't like this segment.

Roderick Strong vs Swerve Strickland vs Jay White.

This. Was electric from the start, all three men managed to weave out a way, to get in their energetic bursts, which allowed the violence of the Match, to become the centrepiece. Ricochet, then became Ricochet Scissor Hands, when he busted open Swerve Strickland, this allowed White to hit Strong with his bladerunner finsher, for the win. Ricchet then continued his attack on Swerve, as the former champion, was left in a bloody mess.

Jeff Jarrett Segment.

This. Was. A stark reminder, that all good things must come to an end. This will be Jeff Jarretts final wrestling contract. He spoke with hope, and passion, as talked about growing up in the business, and how after when WCW folded, he decided to take a chance on himself. And if he's going out, then he wants AEW Gold, the main prize. If this is Jeffs swansong. then so be it. I will miss you mr Slapnuts.

Marieh May Segment.

Marieh May said that she wants the AEW Womens division, to prove themselves to her, if they want a shot at her Championship.

Hook Segment.

Hook called out Christian Cage. Alright i'm bored of this, just get on with it AEW.

Powerhouse Hobbs Match.

Powerhouse Hobbs wrecked a couple of Local Jobbers in a pointless TV Match.

MJF Segment.

In the words of Eminem, will the real MJF please stand up, oh wait he has. I liked this, as he called out Moxley.

Deathriders vs Rated FTR.

I liked this. from the insanity that we got at the end. The superb Matches within the Match, made for a great paradigm shift, as the physicality, and chemistry, from both teams allowed for a story to be told. Rated FTR, got the win after they hit a Shatter Machine, and a spear combo on Wheeler Yuta. Oh and hello Jay White.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite Fight For The Fallen.

With simulcast culture now in full effect, AEW have taken full advantage of how the market is working, and were the industry is heading. This was a decent broadcast, and has deepened my excitement as we head into 2025. Long may this continue.

AEW Dynamite Fight For The Fallen is a high 8/10.

AEW Dynamite Review. Jon Moxley vs Katsuyori Shibata And Everything Else. Im skipping the intro this week, and getting straight into the act...
