Top 5 Wrestlers Showed That They Didn't Care.

          Intro.

Wrestlers not caring, is something that isn't new, regardless of the promotion that they work for. I just think it makes for unsettling viewing, but sometimes these moments can make history, and change the face of how look at a certain performer. These are five times wrestlers couldn't hide their frustration, with the promotions that tried to bury them.

            5 Kevin Owens

In late 2021, reports came out that Kevin Owens wasn't happy, as his contract with WWE was coming up for renewal. Looking back on these times. WWE's creative wasn't very good, infact, as an old school fan, it was awful, and you could clearly tell that Owens wasn't happy. It was hard to for me, because, about a year before all of this came about, I was in the same type of situation. Things did improve, as time went on.

4 Bret Hart His Entire WCW Run.

None of this went well at all. I could pick several moments in which His Excellentcy was annoyed, because there was so many moments.

        3 Hulk Hogan.

The back end of Hogans WCW Run, screamed of I just don't care, The creative was bad, and the all round feeling, surrounding the promotion, was languishing. Bash At The Beach could have been avoided in my opinion.

    2 Britt Baker.

This one, kind of upsets me. because she's one of my favourite womens wrestlers to watch, but the last few months of her run in AEW didn't go well, as reports of her having attitude problems, came to light. Now don't get me wrong. I know she's had things going on, outside of the ring, so that may have had a hand to play, but it didn't hide her lack of uninterest in what she was doing. Case and point. In October last year, she had a Match on Dynamite, against another one of my personal faves. Sarena Deeb, and, well, yeah her face said everything.

     1 Cm Punk.

This pains me to put this man on the list, but he's had moments when he didn't care. His backstage diva antics, when he was with AEW, to the infamous title unification segment from Monday Night Raw in December 2013. Were do I begin.

      AEW Collision Maximum Carnage Review.

           Intro.

This is going to be my intro for this week. God bless you Christopher Daniels. I met this man last year at All In, and he couldn't have been nicer, I've been an admirer of his work for many years, and it was great to see him get his flowers, even though it was for the last time. God speed my Fallen Angel.

           Opening.

Rated FTR. Kazuchika Okada. Christopher Daniels, and. Hangman Adam Page, give there thoughts on their opponents, before the show began.

Texas Deathmatch Hangman Adam Page vs Christopher Daniels.

I loved this Match. It was a bloodsoaked masterpiece in TV booking, both men had fun with bardwire, complete with sickening table spots. Daniels put up a great fight, as the blood dripped down his face, his energy drained from his body, until the final moment when he couldn't get back up from a deadeye. He missed the 10 count, because exhaustion took over his body. Hangman saw someone who could be looked at as a mentor, out to pastures new, and it was an emotional watch. God bless you Fallen Angel.

Toni Storm Interview With Tony Schiavone.

All throughout this. Toni Schiavone must've felt like he had gone backwards. Toni Storm sold her amnesia perfectly, and the look on Tony Schiavone's face said, well, ok then. Storm gave her thoughts on Marieh May, and the pair will meet next week on Collision. I have to say I liked this. It made me laugh, after a long day in my day job.

The Hurt Syndicate Segment.

The Hurt Syndicate want Gold. I don't blame them, but it also says a lot about the state of AEW's Tag Team Division at this moment.

Undisputed Kingdom vs The Infantry and Lee Moriarty.

This Match had me thinking. Be still my Black'n Gold loving heart. The Undisputed Kingdom, beat The Infantry, and. Lee Moriarty, in a solid TV Match.

Will Osperay Segment.

Will Osperay will meet Kenny Omega, on this coming weeks Dynamite, and all I have to say is hurry up Wednesday.

Lance Archer And Brian Cage vs Top Flight.

I didn't like this. Top Flight are better than being used as predictable fodder. Archer, and. Cage got the win.

The Acclaimed Are Done

I'm not sure what to make of this. The Acclaimed are no more. This was a decent segment, that took me back to the days of watching WWF Sunday Night Heat. Max called out Anthony Bowens, and both men had a good seperation promo dual, that left Daddyass, to try and sort out the pair, however this backfired, because. Castor told Bowens to pick a side, and he chose Billy Gunn, this pissed Max off, who was made to do the walk of shame, as he solked back up the ramp, like a sibling who has been left out, at a birthday party. This was, what it was.

Swerve Strickland Segment.

Am I the only person, who thinks that, he's going to kill that Jeffrey Dalmer wannabe Ricochet?

Tomohiro Ishii vs Kazuchika Okada Continental Championship.

This on paper looked like a banger, but what we got was an intricate TV Match, that played into both mens hands, Big Tom got injured at the halfway point, and helped carry the Match to what was a solid TV encounter, Okada retained with his rainmaker finisher.

Dustin Rhodes vs Adam Priest.

Dustin Rhodes, beat. Adam Priest in a fairly standard TV Match, that did nothing for me.

Julia Hart vs Harley Cameron.

Julia Hart, beat. Harley Cameron in a flat TV Match, like the before, this did nothing for me.

Rated FTR And The Outrunners vs The Learning Tree And The Deathriders.

I'm in two headspaces, when it comes to this Main Event. One part of me liked this, and the other part of me, thought it was just something that passed me by. The Matches within the Match, were great, the spots were well placed, and the in thread storyline of Hobbs getting taken out by Chris Jericho's crew, beforehand, made for a chaotic story, and him getting the win for his team, when he came out, and getting the win, by giving Bryan Keith a spinebuster. Was a clever move, Oh well at least that kid who was sat at ringside, who gave him a piece of his mind, was funny.

Overview Of AEW Collision Maximum Carnage.

I thought this broadcast, was a varied mix-bag, that only half of the show sat well with me, their was bits I liked, and their bits, that made me want to bang my head against a wall.

AEW Collision Maximum Carnage is a low 7/10.

      Smackdown Review

    Intro.

I love wrestling in January time. The Royal Rumble is just around the corner, and the fan in me gets very excited, and this year is no exception, the list of stars, who are entering the Rumble, is starting to look pretty stacked, if you ask me.

Commentator Walk Through, And Superstars Seen Showing Up.

I liked this. Joe Tessatore, and. Wade Barrett, were given the walk through treatment, as they showed the superstars showing up. Tiffany Stratton. Bayley. Jimmy Uso, and. Carmelo Hayes, all showed up.

       Rey Mysterio Segment.

Rey Mysterio in his home town, announcing he's in the Royal Rumble, what could be better, well, what about a promo dual with Kevin Owens, well if you ask, you shall receive. I liked all of this, both men get in there licks. KO paid respect to Rey, as both men went through all of there achievements. KO asked Rey, when he wins the Rumble, he would love to face him for his stolen belt. Rey told Kevin that he's delusional, just like his son The Human Oven. This pissed off KO, who then started a fight with Rey to end the segment. I liked this. Nick Aldis, told Rey later on, that he will face KO later on. Both Cody, and. KO both refused to sign their Match contract for their Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble, so at Saturday Nights Main Event, their will be a contract signing, and Sanantonios very own Shawn Michaels, will host the segment.

Nia Jax And Candace Lerae vs Naomi And Bianca Belair.

Naomi, and. Bianca Belair beat. Nia Jax, and. Candace Lerae, in a standard TV Match.

Bayley Meets Byron Saxton.

Bayley, had a one on one walk through arena interview with Byron Saxton. I liked all of this.

BFab. Michin. Piper Niven, and. Chelsea Green Segment.

I hated this segment, and what it brought in later on, was pathetic. Piper Niven beat Bfab in woeful Match.

Jimmy Uso vs Carmelo.

The Match was going fine, that was until. The Temu Bloodline came, out and got the Match thrown out. What came next was an impromptu promo segment. Jakub Fatu tried to rally the fans, to get behind his leader, but after a chorus of fan backlash. Solo was seen to be walking out. LA Knight then came out, and had a fight with Tama, and. Braun Strowman had a face off against Jakub Fatu, they will face each other next week, at Saturday Nights Main Event. I wasn't a fan of this. It all felt a bit to convoluted to me.

Motorcity Machine Gunns vs Los Garza

Motorcity Machine Gunns, beat. Los Garza, in a solid TV Match, that was riddled with Interfereence from Pretty Deadly. Apollo Crews tried to give both of my Country's finest gentlemen, some advice, after DIY went back on their word, and got decked by Johnny Gargano for his troubles.

Rey Mysterio vs Kevin Owens

This was a fluent masterstroke in solid TV booking. Ko got the win. in a Match that was riddled with Family insults, and the  mocking of old friends. Cody saved Rey from taking a Piledriver. The Match had superb physicality, that was matched by some sensational exchanges. I liked this.

Bayley vs Tiffany Stratton WWE Womens Championship.

I liked this. Both ladies worked hard to bring out the best in one another. The exchanges were great, and the physicality was on point, but it was little Tiffy, who retained her belt, with her pme finisher.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

I had a great time watching this weeks edition of the blue brand. The Storylines flowed nicely, and the action was decent in most areas.

This Weeks Smackdown is a solid 8/10.

My Top 5 Maxican Wrestling Icons.

      Intro.

As a british wrestling fan for over thirty years, I have always found Mexican Wrestlers, to be something to be looked at, from the way that they were mistreated on midard, meaning they had a wall placed in front of them, and as the industry changed attitudes changed, as harmful stereotypes were made a thing of the past, as the likes of Rey Mysterio, and. Eddie Guerro, changed the face of the industry, because in the early 2000''s oh these times they were a changing.

       5 Mil Mascaras

This Man was a mark of possibillities, as he has paved the way for multiple talents to follow in his footsteps. Mil was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2012, and it was well deserved.

   4 Juvetude Guerra.

This. Man was the WCW midcard in the mid nineties, and this was unfair, because he was that good.

                                                         3 Thunder Rosa.

Thunder Rosa, is one of my favourite wrestlers working today, and the fact that she is a beacon for if you want it bad enough, you can achieve anything. Puts her on this list.

 2 Eddie Guerrero.

From his physicality, to his all round passion, that speaks volumes, to this day, past the mans death in 2005. He came through the otherside of addiction a better person, and showed that, anyone can overcome hardship, and prove to the world, that seconds chances in life, can be pivotal, and completely affirming.

1 Rey Mysterio.

Who's that coming out the sky. A complete legend that's who. I'm a big fan of this man, his influence, and, passion for this industry is something that he wears on his ring gear, as he takes the fans on a fun ride.

My Top 5 Takeaways From AEW Dynamite Maxinum Carnage.

 Intro.

Apologies for not doing a full review, this is due to my work schedule, and the fact that i'm fighting back a cold, hasn't helped proceeding at all.

5 Moxley vs Hobbs Over Delivered.

I liked this. The Match was complete over delivery, even though Tony Khan did shoot himself in the foot with that Collision graphic. I had fun watching this. It was a bloodsoaked TV Masterstroke, that worked, so this asks the question, does backwards booking work?

4 The Womens Casino Gauntlet Match.

I liked this. Even though this Match needed to be better placed. It was a well paced fun affair. The interluding storylines was a nice touch, a returning Megan Bayne added an extra layer of suprise, and having Toni Storm win, made sense, with the direction that AEW is taking their womens division.

3 MJF vs Jeff Jarrett Segment.

I loved all of this, from the fragments of addiction, to telling home truths about each other, this is clearly the direction the company is going in, as they head down under. Strooth mate. MJF is going to hang with some wallabies.

2 The Hurt Syndicate vs Private Party And Mark Briscoe, Was A Letdown.

I have no other words, because in my opinion this was a real let down. It's a shame because Private Party are my best friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Private Party last year, at a All In pre show fan meet up, and they couldn't have been nicer.

1 Kenny Omega Is Back.

Kenny Omega is back, and my God it's great to have him back. He won't be bidding us a due any time soon. His Match with Brian Cage was a great reminder of this fact.

My Top 5 Takeaways From Monday Night Raw.

    Intro.

I'm loving the WWE on Netflix. I never thought that I would enjoy it as much as I am, but here we are. So here's my thoughts on this weeks Monday Night Raw.

5 I'm Not A Big Fan Of The Miz.

Sami Zayn, made The Miz look very average. I know what you're thinking, thats not exactly difficult.

4 Lyra Valkyria Is Our 1st Womens Intercontinental Champion.

She's the right choice, that's all I have to say. I mean I'm part Irish, so I have to repressent my Irish breathryn.

3. I'm Done With Finn Balor vs Damien Priest.

I'm completely over this storyline, and in all honesty, we need to leave this in 2024. Along with Liv, and. Rhea.

2 Penta Is Raw'All Elite.

I loved this. I know it wasn't to everyones tastes, but hey. Can we all just rejoice in the fact that Penta is in the Fed.

1 The World Thanks All 1st Responders

Sometimes in life, when our world leaders don't stand up for the small guy. Wrestling does. Well said Punk. Well Said.

My Top Reasons why I Love Pro wrestling

        Intro.

Pro Wrestling, the one vice, that has never in some ways let me down, Even when the WWE was in one of its many poor creative eras, that has carried on until this very day. I mean in the words of Barry Blaunstein. I don't know why I like it, I just do, because it's wrestling.

5 Pure Escapism.

It's a known fact that, a lot of people watch Pro Wrestling. It's the perfect remedy, cure for a long day, picture the scene, if you were a working man, back in the days of the attitude, and your boss was giving you a hard day. You could turn on Monday Night Raw, and watch. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Punch, a disgusting human being, who was his boss, and you could just imagine him doing this on your behalf.

4 Schoolyard Bullies.

It's no secret on these pages, that I was bullied at school. Wrestling was a huge outbreak for me, just knowing that I could go round my mates, and completely escape into the arms of the fed. Sometimes it's the simple things we all need.

3 You're Never Alone If You're A Wrestling.

All I have to say is this. Never a truer statement has ever been said. If you join any fandom, you're never alone.

2 Entertainment Is The Key.

As a fan of Pro Wrestling, for over thirty years of my life. I have been asked one question. Why do you watch this? And my answer is always the same. In the UK we have soaps like Eastenders, and. Coronation Street, and I always say, why do you watch these shows, and my friends and families answer is always, entertainment. And just like that they realise, i'm right, we're all differant.

1 I just Love It.

Like I said before. In the words of Barry Blaunstein. I don't know why I like it. I just do. It's wrestling.

My Top Moments From UFC 319 Du Plesis vs Chimaev.   Intro. Things are now back to normal at O'malley towers, i've done a day at my d...
