My Top 5 Elimination Chamber Commpetitors.

Intro.

Ok guys, i'm just going to get this out the way now. There's not going to be a review of Friday Night Smckdown this week. I feel that with a major PPV coming tonight, there isn't much of a point going through this edition of weekly TV, given the unbalanced mix-bag that it's slowly becoming. So with that said, and with Elimination Chamber just hours away ( at the time of writing this piece had to be held back). I think this is the right time to take a look at my favourite Competitors, to ever grace the demonic nutbar of a structure.

5 Shayna Baszler.

The year of 2020 can only be described as a cluster f-bomb of bad memories, brought in not to our own faults, but Shayna Baszler wrecking fools inside this steel structure was a star making performance, but the senial old man that the company at the time had other ideas.

4. Santino Marella.

I had a blast watching this back in 2012. The Cobra running wild, was priceless.

3. Asuka.

I liked her performance in 2018, to the point that this was one of my favourite performances of that year from any wrestler.

2. John Cena.

This man in my opinion set the standard for great performances in this structure. His 2006 appearance in the structure is something that needs to be studied, because it's awesome, and even though on this night he couldn't see clearly due to blood loss, I think it's safe to say that New Years Evolution 2006 is a night that is highly rated in my eyes.

1 Shawn Michaels

This. Man is the redefining meaning of the word. Triumphant, because when he won the world Heavyweight Championship in the structure's first ever outing, who would've known that HBK's best run in my opinion, was just around the corner.

AEW Collision Review 3.3.2025.

Intro.

If I can describe this intro with one sentence after this weekends Wrestling, I would say this. Sometimes in life, it's good to be a wrestling fan. I think little kids are still crying. Waaaaaaa ha ha haaaaa noooooooo Cena.

Promos.

Daniel Garcia. FTR. Julia Hart. And The Undisputed Kingdom, and. Adam Cole. Powerhouse Hobbs, and. Bandido. Bryan Keith, and Big Bill, gave their thoughts on all of their respective opponents. Oh and hello Okada.

FTR vs Kyle O'reilly and Roderick Strong.

After the obscure ref decision, that nearly derailed the match. This. Was very watchable. O'reilly ,and Strong got the win. As opening Matches go this was decent.

Wheeler Yuta vs Willie Mack.

Wheeler Yuta, beat. willie Mack, in a standard TV Match, in the aftermath Moxley came out and gave Willie some briefcase treatment, and some tough love for young wheeler, and told him on Wednesday he must take out Adam copeland. Wheeler gave Mack some briefcase fun.

Starks and Mone.

Billy Starks vs Mercedes Mone, at a later date. Yes please AEW. I want to see that Match.

Toni Storm.

I loved this segment. Toni was seen lying in bed, going through everything that she's going to do to Marieh May at Revolution.

Swerve Strickland vs Clark Connors.

I liked this. The Match took the shape of a slow burning fire, that built into a decent Match. Swerve got the win, in what proved to be a solid encounter.

The Outrunners Segment.

In footage from last weeks Dynamite. The Outrunners had a backstage chance running with The Hurt Syndicate. Give me the Outrunners as Tag Team Champions.

Harley Cameron On Commentary.

Ok, hands up if you love Harley Cameron. Oh just me then. She was on great form here.

Big Boom AJ.

Its official. Big Boom AJ, is going to team up with Orange Cassidy, and. Mark Briscoe, to face MXM Collection, and. Johnny TV at Revolution. See people this is what happens when you insult a man who loves Double chunk Chip Cookies. You have to face a relaxed person, and a fired up redneck.

The Infantry And Lee Moriarty vs Some Local Jobbers.

The Infantry and Lee Moriarty, beat some Local Jobbers, in a quick, but flat TV Match. This morphed into the next Match. Daniel Garcia vs Adam Cole for the TNT Championship, and this got thrown out when Shane Taylor Promotions got involved. And it was a shame because the second Match was great up until the interference.

Julia Hart vs Queen Aminata.

This. Was a rubber Match from last week, and it was decent, but also forgettable at the same time. Aminata got the win.

Kenny Omega Segment.

I have no other words to say, other than this. Him and Takeshista next weekend is going to be awesome.

Bryan Keith And Big Bill vs Powerhouse Hobbs And Bandido.

I wasn't a fan of this Match. I just felt a tad off to me, don't get me wrong, the work was solid, but I struggled to get into it. Hobbs and Bandido got the win. This. Was. What it was.

Overview of AEW Collision.

And just like that, the weekends wrestling action is over, and this show acted as a good pallet cleanser, However it was forgettable, and I won't be going back to it anytime soon.

This weeks AEW Collision is a midway 7/10.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Review 2.3.2025.

 Intro.

Oh say can you boooooooooooooooooo, by the boooooooooooooooooooo. Don't worry Canada us Brits hate Trump as well.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Cody rhodes. Kevin Owens. ( in Bret Hart gear ) Sami Zayn. Damien Priest. Seth Rollins. Logan Paul. Drew Mcintyre, and. Cm Punk, were all seen showing up.

Womens Chamber Match.

Alexa Bliss. Roxanne Perez. Bayley. Bianca Belair. Liv Morgan, and. Naomi, had a fantastic opening Match. From the inner thread running storylines, to the superb interactions, and the Matches within the Match were sensational. Jade Cargill returned in the early stages of the Match, and went for Naomi, she attacked the queen of glow, as her partner Bianca watched on in disbelief, as the mystery of who attacked Jade seems to be solved, Naomi was taken out of the Match, this storythread was allowed to develop, and blossom, as the exchanges between the 5 ladies, became something to be seen. As the entrants were wittled down, the final Exchanges between Belair, and. Morgan, and. Bliss was excellent, and it was Belair who won, and as the emotion ran down her face she headed up the ramp, and was met by with Rhea Ripley, and Iyo sky, and all three ladies had a stair down. Bianca is going to Mania, and this was a great start to the night.

Tiffany Stratton And Trish Stratus vs Nia Jax And Candace Lerae.

I didn't like this. I thought that elements of this Match fell flat, and it never recovered. Tiffy, and. Trishy got the win.

4Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens Unsanctioned Match.

I loved this. It was visceral assault to the senses, and it felt like a backyard streetfight. The ref looked normal, this was a perfect melting pot of great storytelling, and all out violence. Both men put each other through tables, they leathered each other with there movesets, and steel chairs, one wrapped in barbwire. This. Was a boundary pushing Match that acted as a cry for exceptence. Violence in modern day Pro Wrestling, is something that back in dying days of He Who Shall Not Be Named falling empire, was looked at as a novelty, but as times and attitudes have changed since then, and in that short space, Matches like this that catered to the hardcorist elite, were slowly brought back into fashion. This Match was a prime example of this. I get the complaints about the Match being two long, but if you stick with it, then you'll be treated to a Match that is a storybased psychological warfare piece, that needs your full and undivided attention. KO got the win, and the aftermath saw the return of Randy Orton. KO before this was seen in a frantic state, as he pulled up the flooring, exposing the concrete below this when Randy came out, and both men were up for a fight, as Randy tried to rely on an old friend his headkick, but security pulled both men apart, as KO was taken to the back.

Mens Chamber Match

This. Was, an unpredictable, and well levelled Match, that morphed into something shocking that came in the aftermath. The Matches within the Match acted like a spinning plate trick of booking decisions, and interwinding stories, that came together to create something special. Damien Priest. Drew Mcintyre, and. Logan Paul, were eliminated first, leaving Seth Rollins. John Cena, and. Cm Punk to battle it out, and they did just that, as all three men played on each others history. Seth was eliminated by Punk, and then it was down to two Punk, and. Cena. Both men played around like it was the Summer of 2011, and it was great to see, but Seth wasn't done, he came back in and stomped Punk, this allowed Cena to lock in the stf, and put Punk to sleep, meaning that John is on his way to Wrestlemania, for shadowing what was about to come.

The Aftermath.

As the fans were coming down from what had just taken place, Cody Rhodes came out, and just like that, magic was in the air. Travis Scott walked with The Final Boss. Dwayne embraced Cody, and then asked for his answer, and told him that if he choses yes, then all his dreams would come true, but if he said no, then The American Dream dies again. Cody told Dwayne that he doesn't have ownership of his soul, because it belongs to the fans, and the industry. He then told Dwayne to go f*** himself, as Cena who was standing i behind him, could be seen in the background being overjoyed, however this joy was a short lived affair, because as he and Cody embraced, this set up the ultimate heartbreak. John was seen stairing at Dwayne, who gave him the throatslitting sign, and just like that Cena low blowed Cody, and attacked him, turning heel in the process, and bloodying up the champ. This was. Shocking. Electrying, and an all round gut punch to the senses. I have been a fan of this business for over 30 years of my life, and I haven't felt like this, since the time when Hogan joined the outsiders, and formed the NWO. It was emotional, and I genuinely felt like I was watching history play out in front of me. I have no ther words. Cena is now the evil face that runs the place.

Overview Of Elimination Chamber.

From the solid start, to the shocking, and ground breaking final act, this is why I love Pro Wrestling. Enough said.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 is an easy 10/10

My Top 5 Elimination Chamber Moments.

Intro.

I have a soft spot for this stipulation. It acts like the little sister to the demonic Hell In A Cell Structure, and even though i'm more of a fan of the latter, it has had it's moments over the years, so here are some of my favourites.

5. Santino Marella 2012.

I have said this once before, and I will say it again. I had a blast watching this back in 2012. The cobra running wild. Priceless.

4. Tiffany Stratton 2024 Career Making Performance.

This. Was one of my favourite performances of last year, and the former daddy's little rich girl, made her name on this night.

3. Shayna Baszler Wrecking Fools.

I have said enough about this over the past few years, so i'm going to just say this. Shayna Baszler wrecking fools. Priceless.

2 Kentucky Fried Undertaker.

This actually happened. Have you ever wondered what a Kentucky Fried Undertaker looks like, well in 2010, we found that out, when Taker came out for his Chamber Match, and whilst he was walking down to the ring, Takers pyro caught his famous leather coat, and just like that he was caught a blaze. Production crew guys managed to put out the flames, but the damage was already done. Taker could be seen pouring water over his head as the Match went on. And the following night on Monday Night Raw in a promo segment with Shawn michaels, Taker was seen looking like he had eaten hotdogs with loads of mustard.

1. Shawn Michaels 1st ever winner.

I have said loads about this Match over the years, in terms of what it has meant to me personally. This. Was the real definition of turning your life around.

Top 5 Dana White Rants.

 Intro.

One thing you guys might not know about me is this, i'm not just a big fan of Pro Wrestling, because i'm also a fan big of the UFC. And it's biggest moments don't just come from inside the cage, they can also be created by the mouth of promotions President. Dana White, and he'a at his best, when he's all kinds of Lex Luthor angry, so I decided to whittle down his best rants.

5 Elite FC.

I'm starting off hot, because my god this one is an oldie, but an insanely good one. Elite FC were a one time PPV company, and their only event was headlined by Seth Petruzelli vs Kimbo Slice. Seth came out in the aftermath and said that he was told by the promoters, to keep the fight standing, and not go to the ground with Kimbo. Dana had a lot to say about this, and it's a foul mouthed verbal treat for the ears. If I ever have a bad day, this is what I watch to make myself feel better.

4 Anderson Silva

This one is another classic. After the farce that was the main event of UFC 112. The year was 2010, the PPV was headlined by Anderson Silva vs Damian Meia, and the fight was an all out embarressment caused by former the  UFC Middleweight Champion. Dana said in the aftermath that he was so angry that he gave the belt to Anderson's manager, and told him to put the belt on him. Oh to be a fly on the wall when Dana had words with The Spider. His next opponent would be Chael Sonnen, a man who had no respect for anyone, to the point that they had to move an entire PPV out of Brazil, due to fighter safety concerns.

3. Forrest Griffin.

The aftermath of UFC 148 was an interesting thing. Forrest Griffin after his fight against a retiring Tito Ortiz, he walked out the cage. This pissed off the Bostonian, who chased Forrest down and could be heard yelling at him to get back in the cage, and when he did he morphed into a version of Joe Rogan, that no one wanted to see, as he took the mic from Joe, and went into business interviewing Tito. The press conference in the aftermath Forrest was told off like a school kid getting in a classroom late.

2. Golden Boy Promotions.

You need to see this, if you haven't then i'm going to give you the highlights. In the immortal words of Rick James. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

1. UFC 151.

What happens when your No1 contender for a major Championship, has to pull out with an injury, and you take another opponent to the champions camp. The fighter that pulled out of UFC 151 was Dan Henderson, the champion was Jon Jones. Dana took to the Jones camp the idea of him facing Chael Sonnen instead. The Jones camp that was headed up by Greg Jackson declined the fight, forcing Dana to cancel the entire event, due to fighter intrigue not being high enough on the undercard. The rant was mainly aimed at Greg Jackson, and it was an f-bomb tirade for the ages. I love Dana White for these reasons.

AEW Dynamite Review 27.2.2025.

Adam Copeland Segment.

Adam Copeland showed up to the arena in the back of an ambulance. I have my thoughts on what transpired later on. And there not good.

MJF Segment.

Last Summer was just a rouse, because MJF was seen backstage getting his AEW Tattoo removed, and saying that the only thing he now believes in is himself. This morphed into Hangman Adam Page turning up to the arena, and battering Aaron Solo in our opening Match. In the aftermath he took a microphone, and a steelchair, and went into business, by calling out MJF. Max came out and cut a stereotypical MJF Promo on Hangman, but with a twist, he was carrying a bloody rag, it turned out he had beaten up Christopher Daniels. Hangman rushed to the aid of his mentor, and later on in the broadcast he told Renee Paquette, in no certain words that's going Kill Max. I liked all of this.

Will Osperay vs Brian Keith.

I liked this. Was it the best Will Osperay I have ever seen? No, but it was damn entertaining, and a great blend of styles. The in ring work was excellent, the near falls were well timed, and the physicality made for good storybeats. Will got the win with his hidden blade finisher. Kyle Fletcher who was sat in a nice looking VIP Box, with Damn Don Callis, then had a pull apart brawl on the stairs, in and amongst the fans. This. Was. A great way to end the segment. I know there was a Chris Jericho Segment before this, and if i'm honest. It made me do my best Steve Carrell impersonation. No no no

Mercedes Mone Segment.

Mercedes Mone got threatened backstage by Komo wantanabe, with the aid of Billy Starks. Billy Starks in AEW, i'm all for this.

The Outrunners vs The Murder Machines.

The Outrunners got the win, and will now face The Hurt Syndicate at a later date for the Tag Team Titles, thanks to a awful WWE trope, but if i'm honest do I care? No, not really because the outrunners are going to be the next AEW Tag Team Champions. BECAUSE IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE OUTRUNNERS.

Swerve Strickland Segment.

I loved this. As Black History month comes to an end. The former AEW World Heavyweight Champion spoke about the history that he's made, from walking through the doors of AEW at Revolution 2022, to becoming Champion 2 years later. He said that he wants to get back on track, and win Gold, but first he has to deal with Jeffrey Dalmer, in mean Ricochet., because there done when he says so. This brought out Ricochet, who fired back, and says that he will not face Swerve, at any point, this was when Prince Nana stepped in, and said that earlier in the day, he had a conversation with Tony Khan, and if these two face each other, the winner will be the No1 Contender for the AEW World Championship. Dalmer agreed, and the Match was set for Revolution. Nana had words with Swerve after Ricochet had left the stage, and told him to get his act together, and bring his robe back, because if he doesn't then he's done. This. Was, by far the best segment of the night.

Ther Undisputed Kingdom vs FTR and Daniel Garcia.

I liked this. The action was as slick as I thought it would, and the ending came out of nowhere. Adam Cole got the win, by rolling up Garcia, after a piledriver attempt.

Adam Copeland Segment Part 2.

I hated this, but it's not for the reason you might think. Adam found Claudio, after that Vingnette aired with Claudio saying that he was going to hunt him down. Both men thought through the fans. Wheeler Yuta tried to get involved, and just as Both men had Adam down and out. Jay White makes the save. Marina Shafir comes  out, and climbs on Adam, this is were things get murky. Copeland gives Claudio a steel chair concerto, and threatens to do the same to Marina, but instead Willow Nightingale does the job for him. Mox watches as he can't do anything. This made me feel sick. In our year of 2025, we have a man towering over a helpless woman with a Steel Chair. I know that this wasn't dv, but in reality AEW need to be careful when doing things like this. Over here in the UK, and in America domestic violence cases rise during sport shows, so showing something like this on TV can be problematic. I hate Violence against Women, and I don't think this was a good idea. Be careful AEW. This did sour my enjoyment of the show. Were not in the year 1999.

Harley Cameron vs Deonna Purrazzo.

Harley Cameron, beat. Deonna Purrazzo, in what was a solid outing from both ladies.

Konosuke Takeshista vs Orange Cassidy AEW International Championship

I loved this. The flow was solid, and the in ring work was great, from sunglasses fun, to both men having awesome movesets, that counteracted with the physicality, and storytelling of the Match. Takeshista got the win, and will now face Kenny Omega at Revolution for the International Championship. Now I don't know about you guys, but I think Revolution is starting to look rather tasty isn't it?

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

Overall this weeks Dynamite was decent, but the act of near violence towards a female, did ruin part of my enjoyment. Now don't get me wrong. I get that this is wrestling, but I do feel that AEW went a bit to far on this ocassion, however the promos were great, and the in-ring work followed the same pattern.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a high 7/10.

My Top Wrestlers Who appeared on Childrens TV In The UK.

       Intro.

As a child growing up as a wrestling fan here in the UK. I have vast memories about some of the awful sludge that my Mum and Dad made me watch on a Saturday morning, and my god did we have trash on in those days, but when Pro wrestlers were on these shows, the world felt, well the same, sludgy, but a bit less sludgy, when you think about it. So lets get into it.

5 The Macho Man Randy Savage Going Live 1992.

This one is straight out of the did this actually happened lane. I watched it back recently for this list, and the only thing that I was left to say was. Oooooh yeeeeeaaaah.

4 Scott Hall Live And Kicking 1999.

This hasn't age well at all. I believe it was around these times that Scott was dealing with personal issues. And the interview segment was a joke, because he was clearly on the flirt, he even sang the phone number for the compettion. The announcer didn't take nicely to his brand of flirting.

3 Kurt Angle SMTV Live.

Agh yes SMTV Live, this was a staple of my early teenage years, and yes it was because of Cat Deeley. The show was co hosted by everyone's favourite annoying duo Ant And Deck, and it had it's own in show sitcom that ripped off friends, called Chums, and in one episode, they did a spoof on Jerry Springer, with Jerry Springer. Kurt Angle played a security guard. Now it's time for my final thought. These times were a lot simpler weren't they.

2. Goldberg on SMTV Live.

I was hoping that on this fateful Saturday morning that I was going to see Goldberg wreck a couple of annoying Geordies, but hey ho, you can't always have what you want in life.

1 The Undertaker And Paul Bearer On Gimme 5 Summertime 1994.

What happens when you put Paul Bearer, and. The Undertaker in a TV studio, with Ant And Deck, and. Jenny Powell in a TV studio together, with a bouncy castle. Utter TV Gold that's what.

My Top 5 Reasons Why I Can't Wait For WWE Summerslam 2025. Intro. I love this PLE, I think at this point it's a known fact that I l...
