My Top 5 HHH Matches.

Intro.

Ok guys, go get yourself a snack, sit back, and relax, because it's time to play the game.

5 HHH vs Cactus Jack WWF Royal Rumble 2000.

This is one of my favourite matches ever. I remember watching it as a kid, and I loved it, this is a bloodsoaked masterpiece.

4 HHH vs The Rock Ladder Match For The WWF Intercontinental Championship Summerslam 1998.

Every fan praises Shawn Michaels, and. Razor Ramon, for being the blueprint for what a Ladder Match could look like, but for my money, this is the best executed Ladder Match of all time, these two worked an absolute classic.

3 HHH vs Shawn Michaels 3 Stages Of Hell Armageddon 2002.

HHH, and. HBK did have some decent Matches together, but this one, was by far their best, it was just majestic in my opinion, and even though I didn't agree with the result, and what it sparked off afterwards. I think this is one of the best Matches that HHH has ever had.

2 HHH vs The Rock Iron Man Match Judgement Day 2000.

Both of these men, at this time in their careers, were at the top of the mountain, in the wrestling world, and they brought the best out of one another. I still go back, and watch this Match from time to time, and it never lets me down.

1 Both Matches With The Undertaker At Wrestlemania 27 And 28.

With both stipulations being differant, one a No Holds Barred Match, and the other, taking place inside the Hell In A Cell structure. I think these Matches are the embodiment of great Pro Wrestling storytelling, when you watch these two, back to back.

AEW Dynamite Review 28.11.2024.

Intro.

AEW's Continental Classic is back, and I couldn't be more happier. I've felt for some time, that AEW has needed to go back to its roots, and given the fact that last years was a success, it makes sense to bring it back. And with the company going into smaller venues, I feel this could be a real moral booster, for fans, and talent. This. Could act as a reset.

The Hurt Syndicate Segment And Continental Classic Match.

I liked this. MVP came out with Shelton Benjamin, and. And Bobby Lashley. He put over Chicago, and the sports legends that come that state, and his team, saying that if you get an invite to join his crew, it's like being given a Golden ticket, he then turned his attention to Swerve Strickland, and called him arrogant, and showed footage of how Bobby battered him at the PPV. MVP called his crew the merchants of pain, and misery, bceause all they want is Gold to end this segment. Shelton then, beat Mark Briscoe, in the 1st round of the Continental Classic. I liked this Match, I felt like the agility, and physicality from both men, made for a great Match, and the physicality was superb. Shelton abvances to the next stage of the tournament, and I can't wait to see who he faces next.

Mercedes Mone Segment.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Tony Schiavone interviewed Mercedes Mone, and she got straight to business, saying that Statlander  gave her a great Match on Sunday, and I agree it was excellent, she turned to Camille, and started bullying her, saying that she couldn't get the job done, she went to fire her, but. Camille got there before she did, and quit, standing her ground. This felt very WWE to me.

I Love The Costco Guys.

I'm just going to say it. I love the Costco Guys. Aj Booooooooooom wrestled that Match against Qt Marshall, with a broken foot, what a legend. Right off downstairs to get me a Double Choc Chunk Chip Cookie.

Chris Jericho vs Tomohiro Ishii ROH World Heavyweight Championship.

I liked this, and I never thought I would say this about a Chris Jericho Match, in our year of 2024. This. Match was a physical war, complete with chopfests, and slap matches. Jericho retained, and, yeah, this was good.

Swerve Strickland Segment.

Max Castor got decked by Swerve Strickland, for being a bit too mouthy. Renee Paquette, sold this perfectly.

Hangman Adam Page Segment

Tony Schiavone, tried to interview Hangman Adam Page, but. Hangman was in no mood, he called Christian Cage a failure, and said that he wants to be the next AEW World Heavyweight Champion, whilst stating that he's better than Moxley, and White. Jay White then came out, and reminded us that he's beaten Hangman twice, so that puts him in contention. Pac. Wheeler Yuta, and. Marina Shafir came out, and a fight broke out. Jay was about give a bladerunner, but Mox stopped that from happening. Jay white was left lying in the ring,  as this melted into the next Match. I liked all of this.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Ricochet.

After the worst of the carnage had cleared, Claudio Castagnoli, beat. Ricochet in a solid tournament Match, that can only be described as a one sided beating. Claudio continues in the Continental Classic.

Damn It Don Callis Segment.

I have no other words than. I liked all of this, because I like the direction, that AEW is taking this group, and what a revalation has Kyle Fletcher been in 2024.

Adam Cole Segment.

This feud needed a good night, and it got just that. Adam Cole, came out, and wanted to take the fight for his friend Roderick Strong, who MJF injured at Full Gear, by saying that's he's going to get the ass whooping he deserves, this brought out Kyle O'reilly, and he also wants to take the fight for his fallen friend. Max then showed up on the screen, playing a piano, and said that he's not interested in facing either one of them, but he will be in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale next week, both men then said, their also in. This wasn't bad, but overall this storyline hasn't connected with me.

Womens International Championship Jamie Hayter vs Queen Aminata.

Jamie Hayter, beat. Queen Aminata, in a solid Match, to advance in the Womens International Tournament. This. Needed more time. I mean after 5, years c'mon AEW, do better.

Mina Shirawawa Segment.

Mina Shirakawa, then had a nice sit down chat with Renee Paquette. She explained why she attacked her former friend Marieh May, she said that on Saturday she saw the real Marieh, and as if by magic. Marieh came out, and battered with a Champagne bottle. Marieh stood tall in the aftermath, and said that she wants Mina. The pair will meet at Winter Is Coming in two weeks time. Can I also put over once again. Renee Paquettes selling during this segment, this women is gold.

Darby Allin vs Brody King Continental Classic.

I liked all of this, at times it made me worry for the safety of Darby Allin, because was getting chucked around like a wet tracksuit, and it was glorious. King got the win gutso bomb, and had a stairing contest with Claudio Castagnoli, to end the show.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite.

I'm rejoicing in the fact that The Continental Classic is back, because it made this broadcast feel a bit more whole, and that's I like in my wrestling.

This Weeks AEW Dynamite is a Solid 8/10.

My Top 5 times Wrestling Left Me Feeling Unsatisfied.

      Intro.

Over the past thirty of years, of me watching my favourite form of entertainment, there have been plenty of moments, that have left me feeling, well, a bit unsatisfied, so I decided to write a list about, because my god these Matches, moments, and situation, were, and are, highly frustrating.

5. Jay White vs MJF AEW Full Gear

My god this Match was unsatisfying, and it still leaves a bad thoughts in my mind. Wrestling should never leave you questioning your life decisions.

4. Immortal.

Immortal. Hulk Hogan, and. Eric Bischoffs favourite form of escapism. Self Indulgence. I loved this at the time, but as a fan watching this with 2024 eyes, not all of this holds up very well.

3. WCW In 1999.

WCW in 1999. I have no other words, because my god this creative, looked like it had been regurgitated from the bottom of a toilet.

2. WWE In 2004.

This, year in WWE History at points, made me question my life choices. Armageddon 2004. Need I say anymore.

1 Retribution.

Retribution, agh yes. Retribution. Pandemic era wrestling at its worst. Right i'm going to go, and a have a lye down, because my head hurts, from being completely unsatisfied.

My Top 5 WWF PPV's From The Year 2000.

Intro

The year 2000. A year that could easily be seen, as the peak of civilisation. From me thinking Oops I did it again, and then gaining my senses, by getting One Step Closer to the edge, and yes I was about to break. Me, and my friends, would have a field day when it came to wrestling. The Attitude Era, was nearing its completion, and WCW was falling apart even more at the scenes, However TV was also getting good as well. The Nerd in me loved Roswell, and. The spin off to one of the best TV shows ever. Angel, had me hooked, and it was a gateway, to me getting into the horror genre. Futurama was also goated. I love you Bender.

5 WWF Unforgiven 2000.

That Tag Team Championship Cage Match, between. Edge And Christian, and. The Hardy Boyz. The Fatal 4 Way WWF Championship Match, between. The Rock vs The Monster vs Kane vs The Undertaker, and. HHH vs Kurt Angle, this PPV to was class, and I had a great time watching it back recently.

4 WWF No Mercy 2000.

Stone Colds Steve Austin's Return, battering Rikishi. HHH vs The Monster, and. Kurt Angle winning the WWF Championship from The Rock. This. Was yet another stellar outing from the house of feducation.

3 WWF Judgement Day 2000.

The Rock vs HHH in a one hour Iron Man match, and the return of The Undertaker.

2 WWF Backlash 2000.

The Rock, and. HHH had a barn burner, and. The Monstar had a great showing against Chris Jericho, but on the night of April 30th 2000, it was all about the Return of one man. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Enough said.

1 WWF Royal Rumble 2000.

I loved this show, even until this day. I remember watching this, recorded the after it happened, when I got home from schools. The Hardyz Boyz vs The Dudley Boyz, and of course that classic Street Fight for the WWF Championship. Just don't watch what Mae Young did, because i'm broke, and can't afford anyone's therapy.

Top 5 Survivor Series Moments

Intro.

As the winds of change started to echo throughout the wrestling industry, just a couple of years ago. Gone were the days of the one month rivalries, and all out brand warfare, and in its place, was well placed storytelling, with cohesive endings, with an induced mix of all out carnage, and no i'm not talking about Cm Punk burying a company, whilst eating baked goods. Survivor Series 2022, didn't just mark the start of what was to come, it marked a landmark moment in WWE History in my opinion, as HHH steer shipped the company into new heights, that they're still reaping the benefits to this day.

5 IIIIIIttttttssss Sting.

The Anual Multiman Match that year focused around Team Authority vs Team WWE. I love this Multiman, because this was just, differant gravy. The near falls were electric, and sold the importance of the Match Perfectly, and then after this Match ended, it happened, and it was a moment that I never thought would happen. Sting showed in WWE, this, made my mind melt, and I loved it.

4. HHH nearly gets murdered by Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Car Cranes. HHH, and. Stone Cold Steve Austin, man this was one hell of a dangerous mix.

3. HHH vs Ric Flair 2005.

This, if you've never seen it, is a strawberry juice induced, violent funfest, that is a perfect sign of the times.

2 Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan.

I love this Match, even though Lesnar is persona non grata, at the minute in WWE, due to being implicated in the Vince alligations. His matches at this time were ace in my opinion, and this is my favourite.

1 Sami Joins The Bloodline.

Romans grooming of Sami Zayn was nothing short of compulsive, and this moment at the end of this show, was pure class, the look on Kevin Owens face said everything.

My Top 5 Times Wrestling Made Me Think Did That Just Happen.

         Intro

Over the past thirty years. Wrestling has had some crazy moments, that turned my head, and made me think, did that just happen? so I've put together a top 5 list, that features some of these moments.

5 Swamp Fight Bron Strowman vs Bray Wyatt.

I'm probably the only person that I know, that gave this Match a free pass, because it happened during the pandemic, and yeah, this was nuts. I understand that when this Match happened, every wrestling company was throwing all their ideas against the wall, due to the fact that the world had shut down, and it worked when it came to taking my mind off of what was going on in the world, but, yeah, this was all kinds of crazy.

4 Mae Young Is Pregnant.

This. Was. The Attitude Era, at it's lowest. Mae Young was pregnant, in her eighties. This. Was in storyline. ( Thank god )

3 He Who Shall Not Be Named Using A Racial Slur.

This. Actually happened. He Who Shall Not Be Named used a nasty racial slur, towards John Cena, at the 2005 Royal Rumble, to the shock of Booker T who overheard everything. This is something that I do not condone.

2 The Streak Comes To An End.

Wrestlemania 30, will go down for two things. The emergence of Daniel Bryan, as he became. The WWE Champion, it was an emotional moment, but this in my opinion was overruled by The Streak coming to an end. Mark Callaway portrayed the character of The Undertaker, at this point, for the best part of 24 years, and in 1991. At Wrestlemania 7, he beat Jimmy Superfly Snuka, and this would kick start something, that would take on a life of its own, and become a part of the wrestlemania card that fans would look forward to year in, and year out. That was until Mania 30, he faced Brock Lesnar. Due to sustaing a concussion during the Match. Mark has said, that he doesn't remember what he did that day, let alone the Match. The Match itself was a bit of a letdown, but when you take in all of the facts, this was something that you couldn't believe, until you saw it happen live.

1 Stone Cold And Booker T Have A Fight In a Supermarket.

This. Was, really something. Just picture the scene, you go to Tesco and a couple of guys just start fighting in the cereal isle, You're going to turn away, are you, well, even though this was a makeshift store, both Stone Cold Steve Austin, and. Booker T, did just that. I laughed out loud when I saw this.

My Top 5 Takeaways From AEW Full Gear 2024.

     Intro.

I have to start this off with an apology. Due to my day job. I wasn't able to do a full review, so I thought I would give you guys a Top 5 list. It's my dream to do this a full-time one day, so having to miss things like this, is something that I don't take lightly, but if there's one thing. I can Guarantee, is that when I do these lists, you are getting my all.

Honourary Mention.

Ok guys. I have to start with the elephant in the room. The Costco Guys. I understand that these guys, have become quite vitriotic with some fans, and to those fans, all I have to say is this. Just smile. AJ Boooooooms match with QT Marshall was a bit of fun, and if it brings in a new audience, then who cares. The Internet, and. purists, need to lighten up.

5 The Tag Team Championship 4 way Match.

This. Match, was a let down, and it failed to get out of first gear, and it was a shame, because it had one of my favourite Tag Teams involved. The Outrunners, and, my best mates. Private Party. The booking felt lazy, the in-ring work was predictable, and the Acclaimed seperation arc, was nothing short of tedious.

4 Some Matches Didn't Deliver.

The Tag Team Championship 4 Way Match, and. MJF vs Roderick Strong, both fell very short of the mark, in my opinion, but after these pieces of sludge. The PPV does get better.

3 Will Osperay vs Kyle Fletcher.

I get the feeling that Dave Meltzer is going to feel the same as me. I loved this Match. The timing, in-ring work, their chemistry, and all round moveset, made this a must watch. This. Is. Yet. Another Match of the year contender. The near falls, brought home the story of the match, as kyle got the win, after a fantastic final exchange. You need to see this Match.

2 Championship Champagne Celebration.

Marieh May, and. Mina Shirakawa's Championship Champagne Celebration, why was this on the PPV, it was a TV segment, that existed for TV purposes. I could see what was going to happen, coming a mile off, and, but. Mina vs Marieh is a tasty prospect though.

1 Orange Cassidy vs Jon Moxley AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

This. Was. All kinds of crazy, because it wasn't a wrestling Match, it was a fight. The Physicality was fast paced from the early going, as the carnage became a bloodstained nightmare for Orange Cassidy. As the final 10 minutes, saw the final exchanges, what we got was a shenanigans led trip to the senses, as. The Conglomeration, and, the rest of the Deathriders, clashed, this would act as the start of the end, as Marina Shafir, hit Cassidy with the briefcase, and Yuta gave Cassidy, a Bopsycho knee, paying shade to the man that he helped take out. Hangman Adam Page came out, and had a stairdown with Moxley. Jay White then came out and attacked Hangman, and Christian cage tried to cash in his Championship Contract, but this didn't happen. Yuta, and. Moxley, cleaned up Cassidy, the hard way, and then the Deathriders made their escape, that was until a vehicle got rammed into The Deathriders nicked aprahended someone else's car, and got away, when the camera panned around to show an insensed Darby Allin, came out and smashed up what remained of The Deathriders escape car. This. Was. A game changer, and I loved it.

Overview Of AEW Full Gear 2024.

With three exscurtions, either not delivering, or being a waste of time, that would've been better suited to TV. I think this PPV was a great watch. AEW at this moment in time is going through a form of transition, that is splitting the critics, and fans, down the middle, but on the evidence that I saw unfold in front of my eyes. I think the company, needs to find a sense of direction, that can carry them forward, because it's a worrying state of affairs, when influencers were the most over thing on the card.

AEW Full Gear 2024 is a solid 8/10.

Monday Night Raw Review 6.5.2025 Superstars Seen Showing Up. Iyo Sky. Otis, and. Rusev were all seen showing up to the arena. These guys had...
