Top 5 Saddest Moments In Wrestling History.
Intro.
Wrestling has the ability to hit you in the feels, when you least expect it, but just like, whether it's through moments of retirement, or remembering those we've lost. Wrestling can take fans on an emotional ride, that can have ever lasting effects.
5. Goodbye Brodie.
On Boxing 2020. John Huber, better known as Brodie Lee, sadly passed away. AEW did an incredible job, paying tribute to their fallen brother. The episode entitled. Brodie Lee A Celebration Of Life. Was a reminder, that life is too short people. Hug the ones you love.
4. The Ultimate Warriors Death.
Even though I think, that the man behind the Ultimate Warrior Character, is nothing short of an awful human being. His impact on the industry, back in the early 1990's was something to be seen. James Helwig passed away on April 8th in a hotel In Arizona, just days after being inducted into the 2014 WWE Hall Of Fame, and just hours after making his final appearance on Monday Night Raw. He left behind two children.
3 Ric Flairs Retirement.
Even though my opinion on Flair has changed over the years. At the time this had me crying. Enough said.
2. Daniel Bryans Retirement.
This came from out of leftfield, and it stung. Imagine this. How you would you feel if you had your dreams taken away, at the peak of your powers? The look that was etched on Danielsons face, at this time in febuary 2016, just said everything.
1 Goodbye Bray.
As a wrestling fan, for over thirty years of my life. I will never forget this. Just two days after Bray passed. Real name Windham Rotunda. I attended AEW All In, a couple of days after the news broke, and even the show was flooded with emotional tributes, from. The House Of Black. Britt Baker, and. The Young Bucks, what stuck in brain was this. I was waiting to get into the Stadium, and all I could hear over the pa system, was. Brays entrance music. I've never cried outside Wembley Stadium before, until then.
