AEW Dynamite Review 4.9.2025.

Gabe Kidd Gate Crashes The Opening.

Gabe Kidd Gatecrashed the opening segment, like he was Delia Smith at a football game. Darby then attacked him. This led to a hole load of crazyness, including Skateboard tacks. Hook, and The Opps, helped out, trying to stop the carnage. Darby and, Gabe Kidd then had some backstage fun including powder and a bodybag. This was great.

Mercedes Mone vs Alex Windsor AEW TBS Championship.

This Match was centred around solid physicality. I prefered this to the 4 way that they had at Forbidden Door. Both ladies had fantastic counteractions, and exchanges. Mercedes retained, in what was a solid opener. I liked this.

Ricochet And GOA segment.

Ricochet, and. Gates Of Agony then challenged The Hurt Syndicate to a Trios Match at All Out, saying that they are going to take away their legacies. MVP answered this back later on. This was decent.

Mark Briscoe Segment and Impromptu Match with Lance Archer.

I took multiple things away from this. The 1st thing was that this segment was awesome. The second was Mark's believability is something that needs to be studied, and the third was the fact that this guy has nine kids, that by itself is dizzying. Hearing him talk about his memories of the 2300 arena was a nice heart warming reminder of just what this industry can be. He then called out The Damn It Don Callis Family, and said before he faces Kyle Fletcher, he wanted a fight from anyone one of them, this was when Lance Archer stepped forward. This Match was what it was, a decent filler gap, that was highly entertaining. Mark got the win with a froggy bow. I liked this. Mark will face Konosuke Takeshista on Collision.

Timeless Toni Storm Segment.

Toni challenged any of the ladies of AEW to step up, because she wants to be Kenny Omega, because she wants to be a belt collector. Don't ever change Toni.

Cameron And Statlander Segment.

Harley Cameron has found her wrath again thanks to Kris Statlander, and oh look Wheeler Yuta is on the flirt again. The Deathriders are into Statlander.

Claudio Castagnoli And Wheeler Yuta vs Brodido AEW Tag Team Championship.

I liked this. The in-ring work was solid, and the flow melted into the chemistry of the Match. The near falls added a sense of electricity to the proceedings. Darby Attacked Moxley at ringside, this gave way for the finish. As Brodido retained, after Bandido gave Yuta a 21 suplex.

Kazuchika Okada Segment.

Okada vs Takeshista, oh Tony Khan you absolute tease. I need this Match in my life. Book it Tony.

Adam Copeland And Christian Cage Segment.

This never got off the ground, because out came FTR. Look I like Cope and Cage, but I also like FTR, but which one is better, there's only one way to find out. Fiiiiiiiiigggght. Security, and the ROH locker room had to seperate both teams. I think this was needed, and fell into place perfectly. But one thing. It's never Ok to annoy a glorious man. I love Big Stoke.

Hangman Adam Page Kenny Omega And Jetspeed vs The Don Callis Family.

From The Elite seeing life from opposite sides of the coin. Chaos becoming a cathartic thrill ride, and blending into the pace of the Match. The energetic bursts sold the in-ring work. The Young Bucks have their theme music back, and their having to slum it with us fans, doing meet and greets. Kenny, and. Hangman working over Kyle Fletcher was awesome, and Josh Alexander, and. Mike Bailey had a fantastic Match within the Match, and the barricade stunts from The Young Bucks, and. Kevin Knight looked sickening. This would lead into the final stages, and. Exchanges of the Match, as Kyle Fletcher got the win for his team. Then came the beat down angle. The Don Callis Family then attacked, and laid waste to Jetspeed, and. Kenny Omega. Kyle Fletcher put Kenny through a table that had been set up by Rocky Romero, and. Lance Archer. This is a likely way to take Kenny off from TV due him needing to rest up from injuries. The  way that this angle was pressented was awesome.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

This was a stable broadcast as we head to All Out, and I had fun watching this before I went to my day Job.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 8/10.

My Top 5 Moments When Pro Wrestling And MMA Press Conferences Went Off The Rails.

Intro.

Press conferences are nowadays a hot bed for things going up the wall in both Pro Wrestling and MMA. Gone are the days of when fighters and Pro Wrestlers would act like wholesome humans, that you can take home to meet the family, and in there place are bitter feuds. Beer, and baked goods, and payment scandals, so lets get into it.

5. Tito Ortiz UFC 84.

I've said this in the past, that Tito Ortiz, and. Dana White can't stand each other, and this press conference was golden, from Dana standing his ground when defending his fighters, to Tito burying him, and having a go at the payment structure that the company has put in place. Just check this out, because it gets awkward quickly.

4. Cody Rhodes And Jey Uso Are Drunk.

Cast your minds back to October 2023. This came at the press conference after WWE Fastlane. Both men had become the Tag Team Champions, when they beat. Finn Balor, and. Damien Priest. Both men during the Press Conference were a bit squiffy. Beer and Press Conferences are a dangerous mix.

3. UFC 158. Ariel Helwani Pisses Off His Best Mate Dana White. ( insert Mrs Crabople laugh here )

All of this was centred around whether Nick Diaz would turn at Press Events. Ariel would go on a minor attack Nick, to the point that Dana had to step in, and shut Ariel up, this was only one moment in a love/hate dibacle.

2. Connor Mcgregor UFC 202.

This was all out crazy. Mcgregor was unprecidently late to the Press conference, and this caused carnage, fights, and. Dana White being left in the middle. You love to see it.

1. AEW Brawl Out.

Baked goods. Backstage antics molding into real life, and a pissed of Punker. Could only end one way, badly if you're the many facial expressions of Tony Khan. Cm Punk went on a burying tirade throwing. The Elite. Hangman Adam Page. MJF, Scott Carlson, AEW as a company, and the media under the bus. This would lead to legal issues surrounding what actually happened, and has become a blackeye for AEW that they've just about recovered from.

Top 5 WWE UK Moments.

Intro.

At this moment in time, us Pro Wrestling fans here in the UK, are getting truly spoilt for choice, yes I understand that this has come off of the back of the worst form of tribalism. The matter of consumerism becomes ignored. This has been a trait for years, as international markets have become a hot bed for welcoming in this form of sports entertainment. As a fan for many years. I have been priviledged to see as these incidents, and events unfold. So this is my top 5 list of the WWE UK Moments.

5. One Night Only.

The first of these events would take place in September of 1997, and it's historic for one reason. HBK's backstage politicking on international shores. It's was known that The British Bulldog was due to go over HBK and become the European Champion, in front of his family, one of which was suffering from Cancer. HBK had become the European. The fans in Birmingham were stunned, and as a fan watching at home. I was confused, because one of my favourites looked humiliated. It was reported at the time that this was down to backstage politicking, this was a trait that HBK had explored for years at this point, and on the 5th of November this would have devistating consequences.

4. John Cena vs Shawn Michaels.

This Match would go on to become a classic, as the years unfolded. Monday Night Raw had been recorded at Earls Court In London. This would be the last time WWE would use the venue, and after this they would use The 02 going forwards. The Match was something special, and has gone down in WWE UK lore as a classic.

3. The Rock Banters The Fans At Rebellion 1999.

Just the utter name of this UK Only one night PPV, makes my mum squirm, oh the arguments we had. However on this night The Final Boss aka The Great One was on fire, he blasted a brummie for being from Birmingham, and then told him to shut his mouth. Classic Dwayne.

2. Roman Takes The Pin.

I had mates who went to WWE Money In The Bank in 2023, which took place at The 02. I watched from home, because I couldn't afford a ticket. But if I had gone, then i would've been treated to a steller card. A John Cena Rah Rah speech, that saw him humiliate Greyson Waller, and of course an awesome main event. The Bloodline Roman Reigns, and. Solo Sikoa vs The Usos. This Match was sensational. It had every single seek of s thrill, that UK fans up until this point had been crying out for. The near falls became major story hooks as I sat on my bed watching this with a more to share bag of crisps. I loved this Match.

1. British Bulldog vs Bret Hart WWF Intercontinental Championship Summerslam 1992.

The rumours, and true stories that surround this Match are legendary, and it blends into this Matches lore, to the point that over the years, the stories have been fascinating that the Match. Bret has openly said in his autobiography that he walked Davey through this Match, due to the addiction issues that Davey Boy Smith was having at the time. This is why I believe that Bret is a genius when it comes down to the mechanics of putting together Matches, and seeing them through to their final execution. This Match proved the fact, that the phrase. The best there is. The best there was. And The best there ever will be, wasn't just a catchy slogan, it was a way for some to truly prove themself.

My Top 5 Thoughts From Monday Night Raw.

Intro.

Ok. I just have to agree with Cm Punk. Don't touch strangers who you've never met. The photos from fans that I have seen over the weekend that came from paris, were outright scary. Just because you like a wrestler it doesn't give you the right to act crazy and frighten them. I felt so bad for Rhea, and. Sheamus. I remember last year I attended AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, and the day before I travelled to Wembley so I can take in as much as possible, and the fans who were outside the hotel were very respectful to wrestlers. No means No people. In order to be human, we have to act human. It's really not that difficult.

5. Subdued Jey Uso.

I liked this. Jey didn't sound like he was in a very good moode. From the outset of his walk out, his energy was gone, and this was reflected in his promo. Gone are the days of his own family, and so are his chances of him holding the Heavyweight Championship. This brought out LA, Knight ( yeah ) and he was up for playing the blame game. He blamed Jey for everything that went wrong last night. This was when The Brons came out, and came across like a pair of school bullies, that used to nick my trainers, before PE lessons, and just like that the main event was set. The Match was fairly tame, with The Brons wrecking fools.

4. Heel Asuka.

Asuka loves trying to control people doesn't she. I mean Iyo. Then Nikki Bella, and then to complete her hatrick, she ended with Rhea. The Kabuki Warriors beat Raquel, and. Roaxanne in a decent TV Match.

3. Iyo Sky vs Stephanie Vaquer.

Iyo Sky, vs. Stephanie Vaquer at Wrestlepalooza, oh yes please with a cherry on top WWE.

2. AJ Styles vs Dominik Mysterio WWE Intercontinental Championship.

This was a lot of fun. Dirty Dom is a dirty cheat, and oh my god the fans in Paris hated him. On the other hand France loves AJ, and they chanted for him, even during the commercial break. The physicality was decent, and their chemistry is getting a lot better. Dom retained thanks to Elgrande Americano, and his steal head.

1. Cm Punk Segment.

This was awesome, from the episode long storythread, his interactions with Becky Lynch, who later on taunted him. Seth Rollins showing what a coward looks like, and did someone say AJ Lee. All of this was awesome.

WWE Clash In Paris Review. 31.8.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Jey Uso. Cm Punk. LA Knight. Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch. Nikki Bella, and, everyones favourite rip off merchant Logan Paul were seen showing up to the venue.

Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed.

This Match acted as a follow up to what happened on Raw. Romans forsyth when it came to his future was spot on, because he came out on his own. The feats of strength from both men became the early backdrop for what was a lofi opener. The physicality was good, and both men had decent chemistry. However I couldn't connect with this Match. Roman got the win, and then got wrecked heavy, after he choked out Paul Heyman. The wreckage from The Brons was a way to write Roman off from TV, because he's due to start filming the new Street Fighter Movie, over the next few weeks. I couldn't get into this, and i'm not sure why?

The Street Profits vs The Wyatt Sic WWE Tag Team Championship.

This was another Match that I couldn't connect with, now this was due to the fact that it felt like a TV Match, taking place on a PLE. The Wyatts retained, so far this PLE hasn't delivered.

Becky Lynch vs Nikki Bella WWE Womens Intercontinental Championship.

This was a solid work rate Match. In our year of 2025 WWE has failed in the mens department to a degree, however it's the ladies that have shone this year. I think Becky is having a great year in my opinion, and this was proof. From the fans showing both ladies love. Nikki playing the move reversal game, to Becky picking up the win with a simple backslide. I liked this.

Rusev vs Sheamus Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook.

This was a blast. The Match resembled two big beefy boys, doing big beefy boy things. This was a physical bomb blast, that gave way to weapon induced plunder, that became the back beat for what was the Match of the night. Table spots. Chair spots. Bar spots. And a really cool Whiskey Barrel white noise spot, that saw Sheamus take the worst of it. This built in nicely to the near falls being well timed, and the final exchanges saw Rusev get the win with a shaleleigh accolade submission. This was by far the Match of the night.

John Cena vs Logan Paul.

I have to give the French fans credit, were credit is due, they were loud as balls here. And oh my this Match needed it. I didn't like this. It felt methodical, slow, and heavy on being formulaic. Cena in the past has been accused of burying talent, and working with a short moveset, and this caused what we saw tonight, a rinse and repeat, of the same old Cena Matches. Logan had to work hard to get the best out John, but his efforts were not met with how this Match was booked. John got the win, and if i'm being honest. I don't care. Cena getting his flowers from the French fans was a nice site. WWE timed that well.

Fatal 4 Way Match WWE Heavyweight Championship.

I'm not the biggest fan of Four Way Matches, because the concept has been run into the ground over the years, from multiple promotions, but this felt fresh, and I didn't hate it. The Matches within the Match added fuel to the overarching storylines that will take WWE through to the end of the year. But it was the end exchanges that saw what was a great finish. Punk thought that he had Seth Beat, he had hit him with a go to sleep, but that was when a Ninja lookalike gave Punk a low blow, allowing Seth to hit him with a stomp for the retention, and who was this Ninja, none other than Becky Lynch. Seth's wife. I loved this. I have been saying that The Vision has needed a bit of new blood for some time, and this was a genius move, and I can't wait to see how this unfolds on WWE TV.

Overview Of Clash In Paris.

This PLE was a confusing mix of the Formulaic, and the outright great, however if you ask me in a years time what happened at Clash In Paris? I would say, that I don't remember, and should tell you everything about WWE's booking in 2025.

WWE Clash In Paris 2025 is a mid 7/10.

The Top 5 Worst Things That MJF Has Ever Done In AEW And Beyond.

Intro.

It's no secret that I love this man. He's the perefect modern look at how society views heels. From his narcissistic tendencies, and fascinating persona, that can drive even the hardest of fans into his world. MJF is a once in a chance character, that needs to be explored, and celebrated in equal measure, whilst being reviled through the looking glass of Pro Wrestling.

5. Telling Fans To F*** Off. ( I'm Not Joking )

Their has been times back in the early days of AEW when they would send Wrestlers out to Malls, as a way of interacting with fans, some in this situation like. Cody Rhodes. The Young Bucks. Sammy Guevara, and. Hangman Adam Page, all shone in his space. Max would use this to tell children, and their parents to f*** off. I spoke to one of AEW's security guards last year when I was at a fan convention before All In, and I asked him about this story, and asked if these stories were true, and he told me there's a reason why they don't make Max do fan events, after these incidents.

4. Methanie.

Drug addiction isn't something to be laughed, or if you're Maxwell Jacob Freeman, something to be used with utter vile vitriol. This happened on a October 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite. The levels of disgust that oozed from him, as he laid bare the issues of The Pillman family, as Brian Pillman Jnr stood there and watched as his family was laid to waste, and all Max could do was smerk in the only way he can.

3. Insulting Fans Outside A Hotel In Wembley.

I heard this from the fans that were waiting for autographs outside the hotel, and this sounded like typical MJF. The words that came out of his mouth were thank you, f*** you, bye. Don't ever change Maxwell.

2. Revealing Darby Allin's Past Trauma.

This came from an early October 2021 edition of Dynamite, in the build to that years Full Gear, Max is at his promo best, when he's revelling in others misery, and this segment was perfect.

1. Mistreatment Of Wardlow.

This was something that was bubbling under the surface of the Cm Punk rivalry, and as the aftermath of revolution was starting to play out. Wardlow was ordered to take ten lashes. This segment was one of the best that AEW had come up with at this point, and it was a glorious reminder that humiliation is a horrific form of bullying, and seeing Max get his compunance at that years Double Or Nothing was a sight to be seen.

Friday Night Smackdown Review 29.8.2025

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

I heard Michael Cole say something that I didn't agree with to start off the show. He said that Lyon is the French capital when it comes to food, and even though I'm not french, and don't live in France, I think it's safe to say that Michael has never tried my Bacon And Cream Cheese Bagels. There a taste sensation if I say so myself, oh and Sami Zayn. Solo Sikoa and his crew, and. Drew Mcintyre were all seen showing up to the venue.

Logan Paul And John Cena Segment.

I liked this. It was the perfect blend of everything that I hate, thrown in with things that I like. Logan was given the walkthrough treatment, and from that moment it was all him him him. It's no secret that in real life I don't have a lot of time for Logan for obvious reasons, that can be found with a simple Google search. But he has managed to carve out a decent craft for himself. He called himself a destroyer, whilst stating that fans can't adapt to change. And him speaking in French just reminded of Delboy from Only Fools And Horses. He brought up insults towards John Cena, and just like magic, he appeared. John fired back in the only way he can, with, fire, passion, and, grace, and this was excellent, now add this in with a cameo from Brussels kid, and a hint of controversy, and you've got a great segment. Good work from both men.

Bo Dallas Segment.

Bo was on the hunt out tonight, first The Street Profits, and then later on Melo Don't Miz. This guy was on the grind.

Alexa Bliss vs Chelsea Green.

This was due to be a Tag Team Championship Match, but this didn't come to fruition due to the fact that The Secret Hervice took out Charlotte Flair, before the Match got started. This was a stagnant affair that failed to get started. Alexa got the win.

Alestair Black And Damien Priest.

Damien Priest vs Alestair Black. If you're going to run with this Match, then just get on with it WWE.

Michin vs Kiana James.

Michin, beat Kiana James in quick succession, and will now Giulia at a later date.

Drew Mcintyre Segment.

If this segment was a Linkin Park song, it would be called. Lies Greed Misery. because this was centred around Drews hate for Cody Rhodes, as he tried to twist Randy Orton in coming to this way of thinking. This worked to a degree, because when Randy came out, he was given a Glasgow kiss from Drew. This caused The Viper to go to that place, that makes him to do damage to anyone. Security got in the way, and they got RKO's for their troubles, now what's up with that. This was a simplistic segment, that I got a lot out of. Poor Shane Helms, even Nick Aldis thought that you can't do that to The Hurricane. Oh and R Truth stay off the Whiskey.

Melo Don't Miz vs The Street Profits.

I didn't like this. The in-ring work felt flat, and it failed to out of first gear. The Profits got the win, and will now face The Wyatt Sic, at Clash In Paris. So that's what Bo was doing, he was scouting out the competion. Ok Iget it now.

Jade And Tiffany Segment.

I've said this before, and i'll say it again. WWE if you're going to run Jade cargill vs Tiffany Stratton, then just get on with it.

Sami Zayn vs Solo Sikoa WWE United States Championship.

This was a lofi burner of a Match, that had decent moments that centred around cameos from Big Jim Uso, and. Jacob Fatu. I didn't like this, now don't get me wrong I like Sami as the US Champion, but he couldn't hide Solo's short comings, and this took me away from the Match. Sami as the WWE US Champion does make sense, but at what cost.

Overview Of Friday Night Smackdown.

This weeks show was a poor mix-bag, that was centred around the same old drudge. Formulaic TV formulas, that are getting tired.

This weeks Friday Night Smackdown is a low 4/10.

AEW Dynamite Review 28.8.2025.

FTR Segment.

I liked this, from Cash Wheeler almost having a face off with a fan. Dax Harwood turning on Paul Turner the ref, to him and Stokeley acting like my friends kids, because when they do something wrong, they make up excuses, blame each other, and call each other names. That glorious man Stokeley Hathaway also got in on the act, and this angered Adam copeland, and Christian Cage, who came and a fight broke out. Christian gave a Killswitch to the most glorious man, and then took to insulting FTR with dead dad remarks. His pissed off Cash Wheeler. Adam then took to the mic, and challenged the pair to a Match at All Out. This was a solid way to start the show.

Darby Allin Segment.

Darby Allin then called out Jon Moxley with his own blood. This was excellent.

Jon Moxley vs Daniel Garcia.

I liked this. Both men did something quite special, they managed to make their surroundings feel clostraphobic, from the feel of the Match, to its overall asthetic, this is due to the venue being famed for intense Matches over the years. The physicality played into this perfectly, Mox got the win, after a solid final series of exchanges. Wheeler Yuta took to the mic after this, and did his best Rodney Dangerfield routine, because he gets no respect, because when fans cheer for their favourites, it doesn't mean anything. Wheeler said to the fans that Mox isn't interested in facing Darby at All Out. Oh And Hello Hook.

MJF Segment.

Max gave his thoughts about Cashing in his contract, and. Mark Briscoe right after his Match on Sunday. Just go out of your way to check this out, because this was excellent.

Megan Bayne And Penelope Ford vs Harley Cameron And Kris Statlander.

I couldn't get into this. I just felt like something was off from this. The In-ring work was solid, but I couldn't connect with this. Megan, and. Penelope got the win.

Mercedes Mone Belt Celebration Segment.

This was over before it could begin, from boasting about dancing with Will Osperay, and verbally rubbing it into his real life Alex Windsor. Whilst also wanting to break Ultimo Dragons record, and go for ten belts. This was all over the place.

Mark Briscoe Segment.

There's a reason for why Mark Briscoe isn't at Dynamite, it's because he's become a dad for the second time. He said that he isn't done with Max, and called out Kyle Fletcher for a shot at the TNT Championship. Congrats to Marks family for their new addition.

The Don Callis Family vs Jetspeed And Brodido.

I liked this. The physicality was performed on a decent level, but I do have one major concern. Wardlow. AEW did a great job with his return this past Sunday At Forbidden Door, but this feels like their going backwards with him, and not forwards. He's being used as a henchman. This screams The Pinnacle all over again. Josh Alexander got the win here in what was a decent TV Match.

Hangman Adam Page Segment.

Our favourite Cowboy, next to Woody from Toy Story, came out and thanked Will Osperay for everything that he's done for him, and wished him a speedy recovery. And told MJF that if he ever wants to cash in his contract, then he'll kick his arse quicker than it would to take for the ink to dry on the paper. Don Callis then came out, and said that he wants his belt back, because the last person who he was with the last time was weak. The Damn It Don Callis Family then came out, and then because one of them will take his belt. A fight broke out. Jetspeed helped make the save, oh and Hello Kenny Omega.

Mina Shirakowa Segment.

Timeless Toni Storm will be rooting for Mina this Friday at Death Before Dishonour. Ok then.

The Opps vs Ricochet And GOA AEW Trios Championship.

The Opps retained their Trios Championship, against Ricochet and GOA, in what was a decent TV Match, thanks to MVP. This is the real definition of the term. How do you like them apples.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Darby Allin Falls Count Anywhere.

From the very opening stages, we were treated to TV Spots ( literally ) Shopping trolley fun, which is going to make my weekly shop trip tomorrow a lot of fun. The guard rail spots felt fairly standard, but as the table, and. chair spots grew. The venue made this Match feel clostraphobic. Darby was launched through the announcers table, in what was a sickening spot. The moments when AEW lost their audio after this just added tension to the proceedings. As the final exchanges got underway. I became even more convinced that Darby has no back. He got the win after a coffin drop. And was then taken out by The Deathriders, but he thought back and escpaed as the show went off the air.

Overview of AEW Dynamite.

As a follow up show to a major PPV. I don't think this show worked, but there was quite a lot to like about this broadcast That I liked. The opening Match and Main event were solid, whilst the other Matches repressented sandwich filler, as the segments remained solid.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a high 7/10.

My Top Moments In Pro Wrestling That Made Me Question My Life Choices.

Intro.

You know when you get those moments in life that leave you thinking what the hell am I doing, whether it's in your job, family, or relationship life, we've all been there, and the thing that gives me excitement thrills Pro Wrestling is no different, so this is a list about those moments that made me want to rage quit being a fan of my favourite past time.

5. WWE In 2019.

I put 2019 up against 1994, and 1995, when it came down to public perception for the company. Ticket sales. DVD sales, and TV viewership were all down, and the creative decisions were mind bending. From the build to Mania 35 not living up to standard. Brock Lesnar getting shoved down fans throats, to the decay in Vince Mcmahons  direction starting to take shape, yeah this year was one to forget.

4. Ric Flair Is All Elite.

And to think all of this came after Tony Khan had a bitter X war with a fan, from comments made about Mcmahon, to the debut of Ric Flair, a man who has a shopping list of controversies against his name, this led me to want to bang my head against a brick wall, and think that someone should put Tony Khan on the naughty step, and take his phone priviledges away.

3. The Authority.

Ok. At first I liked what WWE had created here, but as time went on, this storyline dragged on, and on, and on, and by the time October 2014 rolled around, this whole storyline just felt like backwards booking being rehashed again, and, again, and again. Yes this did showcase the emmergence of Seth Rollins as a corporate champion, but on the other hand it also gave us corporate Kane, and no one asked for that monstrcity, no one.

2. Try Some Roman Reigns You'll Like Him ( Honestly ).

Back in the dauldron days of 2015-2016, WWE were going all in on Roman Reigns, at the behest of what the fans wanted. The 2015 Royal Rumble was a clear look at this divide. Roman was the chosen Golden child, and the fans weren't eating what he was creating. The times were changing as the network era saw a mass of fans rage quit the company as a result of this. Daniel Bryan getting ignored was the final straw for some, but to me it was the inconsistncies with the storytelling that had me thinking. Why am I watching this?

1. Year 2000 WCW.

Were do I begin with this company. From Hulk Hogans infamous exit. Bad creative, causing a consistant stream of fans getting pissed off, and leaving the company, to the overall bad running of the businesss, that saw the company close it's doors on the 26th of March 2001. Do I miss WCW? Well if i'm honest, no.

Monday Night Raw Review 26.8.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

LA Knight. Nikki Bella, and. Rhea Ripley were all seen showing up to the arena in Birmingham UK. Oh and I see you Rhea eyeing up the Pick'n Mix, mine is the White Chocolate Mice.

Roman Reigns Segment.

The fans hijacked this segment from the start, and you know what. You love to see it. Roman talked about how things have changed, and this became the backdrop for this segment. Paul Heyman, and. Bronson Reed came out, and this segment, became a fascinating promo dual. The segment ended with both men fighting on the ramp, with security having to seperate them. I liked this. Both men will see each other on Sunday.

Dragon Lee vs JD Mcdonagh.

I liked this. The action was fast paced, and both mens chemistry was great. Lee got the win. Michael Cole on commentary ran through JD's achievements from before he got to WWE, and the only thing I have to say about this is. Don't Google him.

LA Knight Segment.

LA Knight said what he thought of Cm Punk, Mr Brookes said what he thought of this later on in the evening. Jey Uso would do the same thing.

Penta vs Kofi Kingston.

Penta, beat Kofi Kingston in a flat and, and boring TV Match. The New Day later annoyed Byron Saxton, complete with confetti. ( for some reason )

Iyo Sky And Rhea Ripley.

Iyo Sky, and. Rhea Ripley were caught backstage by The Kabuki Warriors having a nice chat, yeah, this would backfire later on in the show.

Becky Lynch Segment.

I loved this. Becky went through everything that she hated about Birmingham, and this included. Nikki Bella, and. Aston Villa. As an Arsenal Supporter I can understand the second one. This brought out Nikki, who gave Becky some awesome verbal Barbs. Both ladies had a fantastic promo dual. This was later confirmed their Match at Clash In Paris. Also as a Massive Ozzy Osbourne fan. I loved the tribute.

Rhea Ripley vs Roxanne Perez.

I liked this. Both ladies have decent chemistry, and the chemistry that was on display was great. Rhea got the win with a riptide. Corey Graves on Commentary teased the return of, ugh sigh. Chris Jericho. No, please no.

Aj Styles Vs Finn Balor.

I was bored watching this. The in-ring work felt stagnant, and that's a real shame. AJ got the win. AJ will face Dirty Dom next week In Paris, for the Intercontinental Championship.

Bayleys New Direction.

I have to say. I'm starting to like Bayleys decent into madness, because this means we could get Hugger Bayley back, and you know what that means, her old entrance theme music. sing it with me now.  There ain't no stopping us now, we celebrate on the floor.

LA Knight vs Bronson Reed.

I didn't like this. The whole Match felt predictable, and flat, and as the Match went into it's final stages, what I thought would happen, happened. The interference spots from Seth Rollins, and. Bronson, and the save spots from Cm Punk, and. Jey Uso played into how the Match would end. Bronson got the win, and the fall apart of the other three man in Sundays main event, then played out. Sigh. I could just feel my eyes starting to roll.
