WWE Clash In Paris Review. 31.8.2025.

Superstars Seen Showing Up.

Jey Uso. Cm Punk. LA Knight. Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch. Nikki Bella, and, everyones favourite rip off merchant Logan Paul were seen showing up to the venue.

Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed.

This Match acted as a follow up to what happened on Raw. Romans forsyth when it came to his future was spot on, because he came out on his own. The feats of strength from both men became the early backdrop for what was a lofi opener. The physicality was good, and both men had decent chemistry. However I couldn't connect with this Match. Roman got the win, and then got wrecked heavy, after he choked out Paul Heyman. The wreckage from The Brons was a way to write Roman off from TV, because he's due to start filming the new Street Fighter Movie, over the next few weeks. I couldn't get into this, and i'm not sure why?

The Street Profits vs The Wyatt Sic WWE Tag Team Championship.

This was another Match that I couldn't connect with, now this was due to the fact that it felt like a TV Match, taking place on a PLE. The Wyatts retained, so far this PLE hasn't delivered.

Becky Lynch vs Nikki Bella WWE Womens Intercontinental Championship.

This was a solid work rate Match. In our year of 2025 WWE has failed in the mens department to a degree, however it's the ladies that have shone this year. I think Becky is having a great year in my opinion, and this was proof. From the fans showing both ladies love. Nikki playing the move reversal game, to Becky picking up the win with a simple backslide. I liked this.

Rusev vs Sheamus Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook.

This was a blast. The Match resembled two big beefy boys, doing big beefy boy things. This was a physical bomb blast, that gave way to weapon induced plunder, that became the back beat for what was the Match of the night. Table spots. Chair spots. Bar spots. And a really cool Whiskey Barrel white noise spot, that saw Sheamus take the worst of it. This built in nicely to the near falls being well timed, and the final exchanges saw Rusev get the win with a shaleleigh accolade submission. This was by far the Match of the night.

John Cena vs Logan Paul.

I have to give the French fans credit, were credit is due, they were loud as balls here. And oh my this Match needed it. I didn't like this. It felt methodical, slow, and heavy on being formulaic. Cena in the past has been accused of burying talent, and working with a short moveset, and this caused what we saw tonight, a rinse and repeat, of the same old Cena Matches. Logan had to work hard to get the best out John, but his efforts were not met with how this Match was booked. John got the win, and if i'm being honest. I don't care. Cena getting his flowers from the French fans was a nice site. WWE timed that well.

Fatal 4 Way Match WWE Heavyweight Championship.

I'm not the biggest fan of Four Way Matches, because the concept has been run into the ground over the years, from multiple promotions, but this felt fresh, and I didn't hate it. The Matches within the Match added fuel to the overarching storylines that will take WWE through to the end of the year. But it was the end exchanges that saw what was a great finish. Punk thought that he had Seth Beat, he had hit him with a go to sleep, but that was when a Ninja lookalike gave Punk a low blow, allowing Seth to hit him with a stomp for the retention, and who was this Ninja, none other than Becky Lynch. Seth's wife. I loved this. I have been saying that The Vision has needed a bit of new blood for some time, and this was a genius move, and I can't wait to see how this unfolds on WWE TV.

Overview Of Clash In Paris.

This PLE was a confusing mix of the Formulaic, and the outright great, however if you ask me in a years time what happened at Clash In Paris? I would say, that I don't remember, and should tell you everything about WWE's booking in 2025.

WWE Clash In Paris 2025 is a mid 7/10.
