AEW Dynamite Review 11.9.2025.
Bryan Danielson Is Back On Commentary.
I love this. Bryan Danielson is back on commentary on a full-time basis for AEW. This is a fantastic move as Danielson has a wealth of knowledge, when it comes to multiple styles of the Pro Wrestling game.
Hangman Adam Page vs Josh Alexander.
This was excellent. The in-ring timing from both men was on point, and it married in with their exchanges, and counter exchanges. The near falls were solid, and their out of ring exchanges added a sense of drama to this outing. Lance Archer, and. Rocky Romero got taken out by Hangman, which allowed him to pick up the win with a buckshot. Hangman then laid waste to MJF, and. The Don Callis in the aftermath, and this brought out Kyle Fletcher. Both then had a fantastic promo dual. This dealt with the themes of earning respect, and getting someone to stand on their own. I liked all of this. Kyle will face Hangman at All Out for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Oh and Kyle wear some socks, because no one likes smelly feet.
MJF Segment.
This was caught after this Saturdays Collision, and all I have to say is this. Go out of your way to check this out, because this was awesome.
Young Bucks Segment.
I had one question that went through my mind as this went on. This was, what would I do with 500.000 pounds? I laughed my ass off when The Bucks got ghosted by The Dark Order, and even Brandon Cutler didn't want anything to do with them. Boys you can't trust Moxley.
Mercedes Mone And Emi Sakura vs Riho And Alex Windsor.
This Match was levied around the storyline of student beating the master, and it was a decent outing. The Matches within the Match could be a clear indication for the future. Riho got the won for her team, after she submitted her mentor Emi Sakura.
Ricochet And Goa Segment.
Ricochet said to Renee Paquette that during his Match with Shelton Benjamin later on, he wants their to be a gentlemans agreement. ( insert Sarcasm here ) I can see this going well.
FTR Segment.
Prior to this segment. AEW ran a hype video for Cope And Christian vs FTR, and the glorious man that is Stokeley Hathaway hated it. Dax then took to the mic and tried to fight two fans. This ended when Cash Wheeler battered some security guards. This was a confusing mix-bag.
Ricochet vs Shelton Benjamin.
I liked this. Both men put their best foot forward with solid exchanges, we nearly got a scissors attack, and Ricochet got the win after his mates GOA gave Shelton a forehead sandwich. So much for a Gentlemans agreement.
Hook Vingnette.
Hook doesn't need The Opps. Or does he. He's got a nice looking set up though. If that's his pad, then my god i'm in the wrong business.
Timeless Toni Storm vs Skye Blue Phily Street Fight.
When I saw this Match graphic. I was worried about the time restraints. However those were dumb founded. Toni Storm got her arse, and another part of her body stapled. We got videotape. VCR. Vinyl records. a fan sign, acting as a street sign, and both ladies becoming human mouse traps spots. I had a blast watching this. Storm got the win after she gave Skye Blue a Storm Zero on a steel chair. The rest of Skye's staple, aka The Craft rejects came out, and were taken out by Kris Statlander.
Willow Nightingale Segment.
Willow Nightingale tried to give Harley Cameron some advice, when it comes to Kris Statlander. I want her song cat face to be a number one hit.
500.000 Pound 10 Man Tag The Deathriders And The Young Bucks vs The Opps And Brodido.
This Party Match lived up to the name. I'm not the biggest fan of Party Matches, but I do feel that it makes sense to have them as main event attractions, because you can easily bounce storylines off from their aftermath. The Bucks got mugged off yet again with the original Dynamite theme, and pictures making them look like criminals. The physicality, and high flying action moulded into how this Match played out. The Bucks got the win, and just like that, they were rich again, because Mox said they could coin in his earnings. Brody King attacked the Bucks. Darby Allin went for Mox. And then it happened. A hooded figure attacked Darby, and it turned out to be Daniel Garcia. Both laid out Darby as the show went off the air. This has made Garcia feel a bit more relevant in my opinion.
Overview Of AEW Dynamite.
This was another solid episode of weekly TV, with great in-ring action, and the promo segments followed the same route.
This weeks Dynamite is a solid 8/10.
