Aew Dynamite Homecoming 10.1.2024

Intro

With 2024 now In full swing, It's nice to see that, some things from 2023 have rolled Into 2024. Now don't worry everyone. I have It on very good authority, that. Tony Khan was at Dynamite last night, but In stead of sitting In the guerilla area, he was on the naughty step, and has had his phone priveleges taken away. Learn your lessons from this everyone, Twitter Is a toxic cesspool.

Hangman Adam Page vs Claudio Castagnoli

Right from the outset, this was a physical war, with both men showcasing excellent chemistry, and solid fluidity, from. Hangman having a nice beer break. Which was a nice throwback to the good old Pandemic days. To Claudio, slamming him, and stomping him on the rampway. Hangman hit Claudio with a running lariot, that gave us a great near fall. This helped the Match breathe, Both men had some fun utilizing the wall, this allowed Hangman to ddt Claudio, and hit him with a stunning moonsault. Hangman then performed two buck shot Larots on Claudio for the win. I liked this opener. I felt that It more than delivered on the night. And It was great to see the crowd In, Dailys place, so up for It.

   8 Man Tag Match

Orange Cassidy. Preston Vance. Dustin Rhodes, and Adam Copeland, beat The Mogul Embassy and lance Archer, In a fun 8 man tag Match. The Match was a lot of fun. From Cassidy being passed around between the Mogul Embassy, and then getting slammed by Brian Cage, this confirmed to me that, Cassidy has no equilbrium. Jake Roberts taking out Hose the assistant. to each man having energetic bursts, that helped the Match breathe. All of this was brought together to comemerate the life of Brodie Lee. Preston Vance wore a Brobie Lee armband. And. Anna Jay would walk out later on for her match, decked out In his merch. This acted as a nice reminder, that he Is gone, but not forgotten.

Samoa Joe segment

Even though, this turned Into a 4 way promotrain. I did enjoy It. Samoa Joe our new World Champion came out. He addressed the crowd with class, Introducing himself, whilst letting us know, that there Is a new championship protocol to aheed to. because from now. No whining, and. No bitching on Twitter, here's looking at you. Tony Khan. All you will have to do Is, submit your request to the Champoinship board. Which i think Is just Joe. Because, this Is a start of a new era. Swerve Strickland came out, and said that, even though, he has never been to Daily's place. He reminded the fans, that this Is Swerve's house. And that he Is not looking to take Joes place, like he did Hangman Adam Page's. Because, he Is after his belt. Hangman then made his pressence felt, and called his shot for a 2024 title run. All three men had their own stairing contests, as i thought the segment had finished, but as. Swerve, and. Hangman, had filtered out of the ring. Outame. Hook, to face Joe. And just like that. I could hear nerds on the Internet start to swirl. I thought this segment was great. Even though It fed Into the online fans hands.

Renee Paquette and Toni Storm segment

Renee Paqutte Interviewed Timeless Toni Storm, and. Am I the only person who thinks, that the Timeless one, has no time for Deona Purazzo. Purazzo answered this back later on, and will face. Red Velvet. In her Aew debut this Saturday on Collision.

Sammy Guevara vs Ricky Starks

In the words of Bob Dylan. This Match was the epicentre for. Oh how these times they are changing, from both men having Matches against Cody Rhodes, to one of them having a child, you could say that Daily's Place, Is In their wrestling dna. It also acted as a great reminder, of the Journey that both men have been on, upto this point, from the Jericho vortex, to trying to get belts over. here's looking at you. Ftw Championship, and TNT Championship. The Match was great, from the high point, of Sammy's moonsault onto Ricky. To Starks utilising the roshambo. The near falls were great. And helped give the Match time to stand on Its own, allowing Sammy to get the win, with a dodgy looking roll up. Sammy showed some respect, to what looked like a fallen Starks. But, this was just a set up, because. Big Bill came out to beat down Sammy, allowing Chris Jericho to make the save. Chris brawled with Bill In the crowd. Ok I have said this before, and I'm going to say It again. With all of the serious accusations going around about Chris. I don't think It's wise to have him on TV, In any capacity. At the moment. That's just my opinion.

8 women tag match 

Willow Nightingale. Kris Statlander. Anna Jay, and. Thunder Rosa, beat. Julia Hart. Skye Blue, and. The Outcasts, In a formulaic, but fun TV Match. That Included. Harley Cameron, causing trouble on the outside, and a sick looking 8 woman suplex. Ann a Jay put her queenslayer submission on Skye Blue, for the win.

Wheeler Yuta Segment

Wheeler Yuta vs Eddie Kingston, for the. Continental Crown, this week on Rampage. Yes please.

Roderick Strong vs Brian Keith

Roderick Strong beat Brian Keith, In a flat TV Match. Adam Cole then cut a promo, on us fans, saying that. The Undisputed Kingdom are not going to earn our respect, they're going to take It. he put over his new crew, and whilst all this was going on. Wardlow had the look on his face, that read. Give you the belt, hah. No f****** chance, I'm not going to give you s***. I thought this was a lot better than week.

Texas Tornado Tag Match Sting and Darby Allin vs Hobbs and Takeshista

If I could think of a phrase to describe this Match, what would It be? I think the phrase bat s*** crazy would do just fine. Both teams brawled throughout the venue, Hobbs and Takeshista debuted Aew's new Merch. Sting tables with his eyes on them. Their better than anything you can buy In Ikea. Hobbs and Takeshista launched Darby In the air, clearing most of the ring, Takeshista stopped a stinger splash. That reprohensible old man tried to get Involved. Darby performed a coffin drop onto Takeshista, from the top of the stands. And. Like father like son. Sting got the win, doing something equally as crazy. Putting Hobbs through the eye tables, with a scorpion death drop. Sting you're 65 years old, take it easy. Tony Schiavone then asked Sting, who would he like to face, In his final Match. And out walked. The Young Bucks. Ok I did not have this on my 2024 bingo card. But my god am I excited for It.

This weeks Dynamite felt like a real return to form, good promos and solid Matches.
