Aew Dynamite Review 29.8.2024

Intro

As my All In hangover, starts to clear for another year. I would like to say a massive thank you, to all of the people that I met, all of the people who were excepting of this blog, and of course, all the wrestlers who took photos with me, all of this will never be forgotten. Ps. My Mum still can't believe that I was scissored by a man called Daddyass.

Jon Moxley Is Back

Tony Schiavone tried to Interview Jon Moxley, but what he got in return, was a cold stare, and a stark warning. Moxley called out Darby Allin, who I think is in therapy, after almost getting killed on Sunday. Mox ended this by saying that, this isn't tony's company anymore, and walked out. Later on he was seen prowling through the backstage area, when he came across some work hands, and from out of nowhere came Marina Shafir, to deck all of them, another one came from around the corner, and was like. Nah, i'm alright. I don't need this smoke. I liked this.

The Conglomeration Segment

Am I the only person who thinks that Mark Briscoe is just the best, also Willow Nightingale will face Kris Statlander in a Chicago Street Fight at All Out. Also Hook, mate. Chili Heatwave Doritos aren't great, the best flavour is cool flavour. I know It's a bit of a controversial choice, but it's my fave, especially with peanut butter sandwiches. I hate Chris Jericho.

Hangman Adam Page vs Tomohiro Ishii

I loved this match, from both men examining each others heads, including a contorsion. Hangman no selling Ishii's chops, a lariot nearfall on Page was well paced, and the physicality was great throughout. Hangman got the win, with a deadeye and buckshot lariot combo. He then had a face to face against Swerve Strickland. This. was excellent. Their promo dual shook my earth, and laid the groundwork for what is to come. A Steel Cage Match between the pair, at All Out. I can see the blood drinking now.

Jamie Hayter vs Harley Cameron

A returning Jamie Hayter, beat. Harley Cameron, in a decent tv match. I love the fact that Jamie Hayter is back.

MJF Segment

From headaches, pain, and complete hypocrisy. Yeah, it could only mean one thing. MJF was on the war path. He denounced himself as an American, and denounced himself away from the fans, because they showed him no respect, and outlining the company as a circus, he said that he's not done with Will Osperay, and as for Daniel Garcia, well he's a bum. Garcia then attacked Max from behind, and challenged him to a match at All Out. I liked this development.

Hook and The Conglomeration vs The Learning Tree and Roderick Strong

Hook, and. The Conglomeration, beat. Roderick Strong, and. The Learning Tree, in a fun match. On paper I thought this was a bad idea, but it turned out to be a lot of fun, from Bryan Keith screaming from Hooks belly to bellys. Orange Cassidy getting ragdolled, Mark Briscoe having some chair fun, this all led to Hook getting the win, with a red rum. You love to see it.

C.E.O Segment

Even though this screamed more WWE, and I can understand why this would ditract some fans, but I had a lot of fun watching this. My new best mates Private Party, had a meeting with Mercedes Mone at her celebration party. She was not impressed with Isiahs flirting, and they were told to leave. Also Okada as a security guard. He looked like he was having the time of his life. Just look at his little face. So much joy.

Marieh May Championship Celebration

Sharon Stone, I mean Marieh May, told Tony Schiavone, that her title celebration was cancelled, because she was more interested in bodyshaming the female fans, who love cheap beer, and then stripped off, leaving Schiavone in a flattered state. I hated this segment. Bodyshaming isn't funny, and shouldn't be used for cheap heat.

Grizzled Young Veterans segment

Grizzled Young Veterans vs The Young Bucks, at a later point, hmm, yes please.

Ricochet vs Kyle Fletcher

Ricochet, beat. Kyle Fletcher in an excellent tv encounter, that delivered on every level. The physicality was great, and the pacing was superb. This is a must watch. Will Osperay came out, but he was decked by Pac, who cut a promo on the pair. He told Ricochet to get to the back of the line, and reminded Will that he will see him at All Out. I liked this development.

Bryan Danielson Segment

Our new Aew World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan Danielson came out. The emotion was written all over his face, when he lifted the belt with pride. The echoes of family, and injury worries, were a factor here, as the chant of thank you Bryan echoed throughout the arena, he told fans that he wasn't going to walk away just yet, because he's going to fight for the belt, because he has more heads to kick in, and if anyone wants to step up, then he's ready to take the fight. Jack Perry showed up on the screen, and cut a promo on him, this acted as a rouse, allowing Perry to jump Danielson from behind, to end the broadcast.

Overview Of AEW Dynamite

This. Was. A great episode of weekly tv. AEW has been on a real hot streak, when it comes to their tv output of late, and this was a continuation of that. Solid in ring work, and great gromos. This. Was. Brilliant.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 9/10.
