My Top 5 Bloodiest Wrestling Matches.

 Intro.

In the words of My Chemical Romance. Give me blood, blood, gallons of the stuff. Blood can be used as an enhancement, to help advance Matches, and help storylines to get to the next level, so this gave me an idea, just what are bloodiest matches in wrestling history.

5 Cm Punk vs Drew Mcintyre Hell In A Cell 2024.

With a year long slow build, and two previous matches, that failed to deliver in comparison, but this Match, on this night, became my WWE Match of the year. both men busted each other open, inside satin's favourite structure, as the physicality, and the blood sold this Match perfectly.

4 HHH vs Ric Flair Steel Cage Match Taboo Tuesday 2005.

Wrestling over the decades, has told the story, of hate outweighing love, many times over the years, but this one felt special. The act of betrayal, may be looked at as predictable, due to how Paul Leveque played his character, and the fact that he had developed a real life relationship with Flair, this is why the match worked in my opinion. The red stuff oozed from both men, as the violence took center stage.

3 HHH vs Cactus Jack Royal Rumble 2000.

This. Is essential viewing. I was 12 years old when my brother, let me borrow his VHS, that he taped from the night before. I fell in love with this Match, and then developed a fear of Barbwire in the aftermath.

2 Cm Punk vs MJF AEW Revolution 2022.

This. Match, had one of the best builds to any match, that I have ever seen, in over thirty years of being a fan of this business. If you've never seen this Match, then you should give this a watch, because it's simply incredible.

1 Pat Patterson vs Sgt Slaughter Madison Square Garden 1980.

I understand, why. Pat Patterson is persona non grata these days, but back in the day, he had some pretty hardcore Matches, and this was at a time when hardcore wasn't even a phrase. This Is a disgusting bloodsoaked nightmare, that still gives me the willies, unto this very day, because gallons of the stuff, came out from both of these men.
