AEW Dynamite Review 3.4.2025.
Jon Moxley And Marina Shafir vs Willow Nightingale And Swerve Strickland Tornado Tag Team Match.
I liked this. From Willow doing the Nana dance, the physicality, and all round chemistry giving the Match time to breathe, and the Man on woman violence being well timed, and was not used to sell the story of the Match. I'm not a fan of man on woman violence, but this wasn't the centre piece of what i was seeing, which was the right thing. Willow got her team the win after a series of great exchanges, and a sick looking triple slam, and a powerbomb to Marina shafir. Mox then attacked Willow in the aftermath. Leaving her in need of medical attention. Swerve wanted to see to Moxley, by the end of the broadcast. This would act as a decent through episode storythread.
FTR Segment.
Dax Harwood apologised for his actions on Collision, he gave referee Paul Turner his fine Money, but as he said sorry to Cash, he got the cold shoulder. I sence a turn is coming on Sunday, and. Cash will join The Deathriders, just my thoughts.
The Owen Hart Tournament Brackets.
Ok. I don't know about you guys, the Matches on this graphic look awesome.
Timeless Toni Storm vs Penelope Ford.
I wasn't a fan of this. The Match felt like it wasn't given enough time to breathe, and it struggled as a result. Toni got the win, as Megan Bayne looked on.
MVP Segment.
MVP, and. Bobby Lashley came out, but before Bobby could get a word out, both men were greated by MJF. Maxwell gave us a tour de force in promo delivery, as his narsascism was on full effect, he insulted fans, whilst stating that he's part of the building blocks of AEW, and that Bobby needs him. Bobby counteracted this and said that he hates Max, and. The Hurt Syndicate don't need him. Max walked out, because he thinks that Peoria has a nasty stench. This gave way to Bryan Keith, and. Big Bill wrecking some local Enhance Talents, and in the aftermath challenging The Hurt Syndicate to their Tag Team Championships this Sunday at Dynasty, which was later on confirmed. I liked this
Will Osperay And Kevin Knight vs Christian Blake And Lee Johnson.
I liked this. The Matches within the Match was great, and the exchanges were solid. Knight got the win for his team after an awesome looking springboard. In the aftermath Tony Schiavone took to the mic, and told both men that their Owen Hart Tournament Match will be this Sunday At Dynasty.
The Opps Segment.
Samoa Joe said that his band of Merrymen will be at the PPV this Sunday. Ooh i'm so scared.
Brody King vs Lance Archer.
Brody King, beat. Lance Archer in a Match that resembled, say it with me now. TWO BIG MEN SLAPPING SOME SERIOUS MEAT.
Adam Copeland vs Claudio Castagnoli.
I had low expectations going into this Match, and I was right to do so, because even though this wasn't terrible. It left me with the feeling that I didn't want to watch anymore of this storyline. Because it has beyond run it's course.. Adam got the win with a sphere in what was a pretty limp Match. But it was the aftermath that became the talking point. Swerve Strickland was backstage with Renee Paquette, but he wanted to talk to her husband. As he went on the hunt for Moxley, he came across Hangman Adam Page, and both men a pull apart spat in which Swerve admitted that he deserves what he got, his house being burnt down to the ground. This led Mox and his crew to attack Swerve, and plant him through a glass plate. Mox ordered his crew to take him to the ring, and they proceeded to brutalise him, by slamming him onto a glass bed as the show went off the air. In summary the Match was boring, and the aftermath was awesome.
