AEW Title Tuesday Review 8.10.2025
Hangman Adam Page And Samoa Joe Face To Face.
I liked this. Both men pulled on the power of reflection, and the importance of being real. These two have had great counteractions before this, and this followed suite. I liked all of this, and it worked to get me hyped for their Match at WrestleDream. This was passion, fire, and, grace personified. Great stuff from both men.
I Love Mark Briscoe.
I don't care what anyone thinks, because I love Mark Briscoe, and if you don't get hyped up after watching him like this in full promo mode, then I don't know what to tell you.
Jon Moxley vs Tomohiro Ishii.
This was a balanced out affair, that resembled like two big men slapping meat. The physicality was solid, and the near falls fell into place nicely. Mox got the win with a Bulldog choke.
Renee Paquette Muggs Off The Young Bucks.
I love this arc that The Young Bucks are on at this minute. Now they can't even get a word with Tony Khan. Their our founding fathers, and just like Rodney Dangerfield, they get no respect.
The Demand vs The Hurt Syndicate Street Fight.
When you take a look at the lore of these type of Matches at Daily's Place, their very rich, so going into this I had high hopes, and it delivered massively. Ricochet going flying. The concrete setting being used to full effect, to the weapon induced plunder being the main selling point of the Match. The Hurt Syndicate got the win.
The Damn It Don Callis Family.
I've decided to rename The Damn It Don Callis, Family, and this is their new name is this. The Don Callis World Order, because by God there's loads of them.
Jurassic Express vs Local Jobbers.
Jurassic Express, beat some local Jobbers in a flat TV, and were then beaten down by The Young Bucks, this led to them Challenging the prehistoric ones to a Tag Team Match, at Wrestledream. This Match is going to be amazing.
Kyle Fletcher vs Kyle O'reilly AEW TNT Championship.
I didn't like this. I just couldn't get into this Match. I just didn't feel its urgentcy. Fletcher retained. The Don Callis World Order then attacked, and this made Tony Khan put Kyle Fletcher in a Match against Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship at WrestleDream. I liked this development.
Mercedes Mone vs Lacey Lane AEW TBS Championship.
This was decent, and it was great to see the former Kayden Karter move over to AEW after getting released from WWE, and she was a great spoil for Mercedes. This Match suprised me, because It managed to get me invested, and I never thought that it would. Mercedes retained.
Double Jeopady Eliminator Match Brodido vs Konosuke Takeshita.
This was a winner takes it all situation, when you dig beneath the surface. It wasn't a title defense. It was a giude to were AEW are taking Takeshita and Okada. I think that they will de the Marque setting for Full Gear, and it makes sense. This Match was centred around the theme of seperation, that will get to AEW to it's bigger destination. The physicality was superb, and the near falls were great. Brodido retained in a solid TV Match. They will have a rematch at WrestleDream. This is going to be another fire Match.
Pac vs Orange Cassidy.
Even though I liked the work that was in front of me, I did feel that it has brought an unwanted highlight that AEW needs to look at. For most of the Match, the fans were quiet, throughout the early stages of this Match and that's quite telling, when you isolate it. Darby Allin played a major part in how this Match came to an end, that allowed Cassidy to get the win. Darby then got attacked by The Deathriders, he escaped, and then we were left with the image of Darby getting put to the ground, after he threatened them with a molotov cocktail. This was a class way to end the show.
Overview Of AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday.
This broadcast was a lot of fun, and a good reminder of just how great weekly TV can be on a level with Major PPV moments.
AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday is a solid 8/10.
