Aew Dynamite Review 23.5.2024

Intro

With both major North American wrestling company's, putting their best foot forward, ahead of this weekends PLE, and. PPV events, it seems to me that sensible booking decisions, are bringing in a sense of normalsy, in a world were TV ratings, age demographics, and having no media skills, when it comes to press conferences, even though Aew handle themselves better in those situations. ( well sometimes ) I think press copnferences should be more fanbased, however. I feel that fans should ask questions that challenge the higher ups, because if you give them interesting questions, then you'll get interesting answers. I can't wait to watch both shows this weekend.

Opening segment

The opening credits got a bit of a make over, thanks to. Furiosa A Mad Max Story, as a lifelong cult film, and. Science Fiction fan. I really want to see this film.

Orange Cassidy and Will Osperay vs Roderick strong and Trent Barretta

I liked all of this, the match had a good eb and flow to it, and acted as a glimpse into sundays window. The counteractions were great. It was induced with fun, and chaos, from. The Kingdom getting involved, to. Wardlow taking out Osperay. Roderick hit him with his End Of Heartache finisher for the win. The Kingdom took out Cassidy and Osperay. Roderick attacked Will, by busting him open with his International Championship, to end the segment.

The Elite Segment

By orders of the peaky Elite. Darby Allin Is Banned from the arena in Jacksonville. Nice shoes though boys, were can I get a pair of them in size 17. Look i'm a big tall guy, with large boats, deal with it.

The Bang Bang Gang Segment

The Bang Bang Gang came out, and wasted no time in calling out Pac, for getting involved in their business, they basically acted like the high school bullies, but they failed to imtimidate the bastard, because he showed up on the big screen, and told them that, he's not here by himself. Penta. Fenix, and. Pac came out. Death Triangle are reunited, and it feels so good. They put a beating on the gang, and challenged them to put their trios belts on the line, this Sunday. They later on accepted, and the match was made official later on.

Katsuyori Shibata vs Hook vs Brian Keith

This. Was. A solid outing by all three men, the only downside. Chris Jericho on Commentary. The in ring work was decent, but the finish left more to desired. Both. Hook, and. Shibata, put. Brian Keith in a double submission. Jericho took to the mic afterwards, and basked in the fans hatetred of him, his promo was flat, boring, and just confirms what I think of him. I just want him to go away.

Willow Nightingale Promo Video

I liked all of this. It's so great to see Willow get her flowers. Her match with Mercedes is one of my matches of weekend, and I can't wait to see it.

Konosuke Takeshista vs Matt Sydal

Konosuke Takeshista, beat. Matt Sydal, in a flat TV match, and at this point i started thinking, what is Matt Sydal? is he a main event talent. No. Is he a solid hand? Yes. Do I like what Aew are doing with him? No. I don't think this a good way to use him. Jon Moxley came out, he hit Takeshista with with a microphone, and said that he will see him on Sunday. This. Was. A mix bag.

Swerve Strickland vs Nick Wayne

I had a lot of fun watching this, from. Nick wayne getting whipped by Swerve. He took a top rope stomp from the champ, and swerve's counteractions were on point, he picked up the win with his house call finisher, and the chaos begin. Christian Cage and his patriarchy family came. Killswitch attacked Swerve, but Swerve thought back, without Cage seeing it. Cage legged it backstage, and ran to his parked car, he tried to getaway, but he was stopped by, a returning Prince Nana. Swerve caught Cage, and the two had a fun battle on top of Cage's car. I loved this. Cage ran off, after nearly being given a steelchair concerto. If you didn't laugh at the chase, then like Bart Simpson, you have no soul.

Malakai Black vs Kyle O'reilly

This. Was. Another solid match, with great back and forth. Malakai got the win, with his. The End kick finisher. And then I got in a time portal, and went back to 1998. The lights flickered with red light, and. Black was covered from head to toe, in red blood. Adam Copeland then gave Malakai, a warning from the entrance screen, telling him, to be careful what he wishes for. I love reminders of my childhood. And Slayer.

Timeless Toni Storm and Marieh May vs The Outcasts

This was an enjoyable match. I had a lot of fun watching this. From the outcasts great team work, the physicality being performed at a solid pace, to. Toni Storm laughing like Nelson Muntz at Saraya, to her getting the win, after a great final flurry. Serena Deeb then attacked her from behind, attacking her with a shoe, trapping her under a chair, and putting her in a submission hold, referees came out to seperate them, to end the segment. I want Deeb to get the win on Sunday.

Bryan Danielson vs Satnam Singh

Ok, their is a lot to unfold here, so let's get into it. This. Was Perfect. The big vs small dynamic worked well here, Bryan gave Satnam the time to become dominant, and. Danielson got in his licks, and had Singh beaten, that was until. Team TNA broke up the move, causing a dq finish. A fight broke out. Singh stopped a guitar shot with his fist, The Elite come out. Danielson gets jumped by Jack Perry. Okada gives him a rainmaker. The Elite uncover a table, that was positioned off the rampway, but then came the moment of the night. A large white car shows up on screen, and a returning Tony Khan, was seen dropping off Darby Allin, complete with a flame thrower, yeah that's right a f****** flame thrower, to scare off The Elite, they tried to fight back, but. Nick was the one who took the table bump to end the show.

Overview Of Aew Dynamite

A man getting busted open with a belt, a bloodbath, and a firestarter, twisted firestarter, roaming around with a flame thrower. This Has to be one of the craziest episodes of Dynamite, that I have ever seen, and I loved it. Also two men thought on top off a car.

This weeks Aew Dynamite is a solid 8/10.
