AEW Dynamite Review 16.10.2025

Statlander And Storm Segment.

I feel sorry for Renee Paquette for these moments, she had to play parent to these grown ladies. Kris Statlander and Timeless Toni Storm played perfect caviats to one another, and this was great to watch. Both ladies pushed each other with ease. I liked this.

The Hurt Syndicate vs GOA

I liked this, from the physicality playing out decently, to Ricochet acting like a young Steve Erkel towards Bryan danielson. This was a highly enjoyable affair. GOA

Darby Allin And Jon Moxley Cinematic Face To Face.

Before I watched this weeks Dynamite, I scrolled throughout X, and I came across a tweet from someone who works in the content creation industry, that I have a lot of time for. Michael Sidgewick from Whatculture, and from what I could gather from what he said, he echoed my thoughts. I agreed with everything that he had to say. I thought this pointless. Yes, I bought the velocity, but if you ask me, both this, and last weeks segment were done back to front.

Roderick Strong vs Claudio Castagnoli.

I didn't like this. It felt flat in my opinion, and it never really fully recovered. Claudio got the win.

Happy Birthday Damn It Don Callis.

Happy Birthday from extremewrestlingreviews1.blogspot.com to the man with the biggest family in the business. Oh and Okada it's alright, i'm technically challenged as well, and hello Konosuke Takeshita.

The Damn It Don Callis World Order vs Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega.

I liked this. The Matches within the Match were a solid reminder of how decent trios Matches can be, as the can they coexist storyline between Jack Perry, and. Kenny Omega was given its full amount of time to grow. Some fans have expressed concern over Kenny Omega's health due to his past with diverticulitis, and other injuries, but all I have to say is this. Can't we all just be happy that we still have him, and that he's still performing. I just feel that someones well being is more important. Maybe that's just me being selfish. Jurassic Express got the win.

Skye Blue vs Jamie Hayter.

I didn't like this. It was two short, and when it got going, the physicality fell off the mark. Hayter got the win.

Mercedes Mone Segment.

Mercedes Mone was backstage celebrating with Renee Paquette, the fact that she now has more belts, than TDCWO.

The Opps vs LFI.

This was another Match, that I wasn't into. The physicality was awesome, I just couldn't connect with this, and it's a real shame, because i'm a Samoa Joe fan, in the same way i'm a Hangman Adam Page fan, so this was a letdown. Hangman was commentary throughout the Match.

Opinions On The 3rd Hour And This Weeks Dynamite.

I'm not the biggest Collision guy these days, and if i'm honest this hour proved my point about the show, and this weeks Dynamite. This was a very inconsistant 3 hours of TV, so this weeks show, even though it had its moments just wasn't for me.

This weeks mega Dynamite and Collision show is a mid 5/10
