My Top 5 Times When UFC Fighters Pissed The World off.
Intro.
Who likes a good bit of anger? Well if you're a fan of the worlds largest fight orginisation, then you've probably felt this way on a number of occasions. And these five men have angered fans the most, so lets get into it, because I can feel that this one is going to a banger.
5. Michael Bisping.
From his brash personality, to his general trash talk, having the ability to get underneath Americans skin. This guy in my country is an MMA god, and we see how acted as typical British humour, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world felt the same. In 2016 Bisping beat Luke Rockhold to become the UFC Middleweight Championship, and after this, he got worse, and it was glorious.
4. Anderson Silva.
Great examples of this can be seen when The Spider faced Thales Leites, at UFC 97 Redemption, and Demian Maia at UFC 112, were he showed a lazy aproach to fighting. As both fights went on fans could be heard chanting boring, over and over again. These fights badly ruined his reputation, and in my opinion it never fully recovered.
3. Ian Machado Garry.
Ok were do I begin with this guy, from getting the boot from multiple fight teams, taking his wifes name, and to saying awful things about Neil Magny. Yeah he's managed to anger more fans, than i've pissed off my dog.
2. Tito Ortiz.
Back in the early days of the uprise of the promotion, It was important to make the fighters that The UFC had at the time stars. This was the case with Tito Ortiz. He was a fan favourite in these times, and he and Chuck Liddell were on the rise. Tito was the Light Heavyweight Champion, and Chuck had beaten Babalu Sobral, at UFC 22. And as time went on he ignored Chuck, and wrote him off claiming that they were friends. This angered Chuck, and the fans. The two would eventually fight, but as the time passed Both men were coming off from losses. Chuck had lost to Rampage Jackson in Pride in November of 21003, whilst Tito lost his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, to. Randy The Natural Couture, earlier that Summer. They faced each other in April of 2004, and Chuck would get the win by TKO. This furthered Chucks Journey to the belt.
1. Jon Jones.
I could sit here and talk about the time when he commited a hit on a pregnant lady, or the times that he's failed drug tests, both of these times pissed of fans, and fighters alike. Jon has had his issues, but at the time when these incidents came to public knowledge, he was seen as the enemy, and not the solution. Every controversy that he has faced, has led to Nevada Athletic state Commission suspensions, and fines.
