Classic PPV Series Post 4 UFC 166 Valesquez vs Bigfoot 2.
5. Where Is KJ Noons.
I did my research to find out what this guy is up to nowadays. After retiring from MMA, he trained to become an EMT, and has worked as a firefighter ever since. This is very inspirational, and it shows their is life beyond the cage. He lost to Donald Cowboy Cerone at this event.
4. Where is TJ Grant .
TJ has since retired from the sport, and now runs a Mixed Martial Arts Gym in his home of Halifax Nova Scotia. This even more proof that fighters in some cases, want to train the future.
3. Glover Texiera Was A Scary Force.
Take your mind back to 2013, and the Light Heavyweight Division was under the guard of its Champion Jon Jones, and the fight industry was asking one question, who was going to step up to him? Step forward Glover Texiera, a solid rock, that looked like granit on this night when he beat James Te Huna. Glover would go on to lose to Jon ten months later, and then have a great career with the UFC, as the years went on.
2. I Felt Bad For Mark Hunt.
I'm wasn't the biggest fan of Junior Dos Santos. I thought that his fighting style was a bit boring, and overall predictable, so when he beat Mark Hunt on this card. I just felt bad for the Kiwi, because this ment that him getting a future shot against the then Champion Cain Valesquez was now up in the air.
1. Mario Yama Saki Was A Danger.
Mario Yamasaki, has had a chequered past when it has come to protecting fighters in the cage. You could look at his last fight for the UFC which was Schevchenko vs Cachoeira in Febuary of 2018. Which was horrorific, and he deserves everything that he got in it's aftermath. But I feel how he stopped this fight doesn't get enough attention. When Cain Stropped Big foot to retain, this could've been stopped moments beforehand. The choke that Bigfoot got caught with looked deep, and nasty.
