Classic PPV Post 5 TNA Bound For Glory 2012.
5. Opening Video.
As a fan of Pro Wrestling for most of my life. The one thing that always got me going was the video intro packages, and this one for TNA Bound For Glory 2012 was awesome. Go and check this out if you can.
4. Were is Zima Ion.
Zima can be watched in WWE as Jaquin Wilde. On this night he had a fun Match for the X Division Championship against Rob Van Damme, in which he would lose his belt. Zima. I'm not sure why he left TNA, but he exited the company in 2018, he worked on the indy scene throughout 2019, until 2020 when he signed for the WWE, were he works as Jaqauin wilde.
3. Bobby Roode vs James Storm.
This was one of the best Matches of the year in any promotion. It was a bloodsoaked piece of master stroke booking, that echoed with the savage violence shown in its storytelling. This was one of my favourite Matches of that year, and as it turned out Big Daddy Dave Meltzer gave it a 4.5 stars in his rating system. So yeah great minds think a like.
2. #Speakingout.
As I sat down to watch the dvd to do the research for this piece. I was sickened. In 2020 the Pro Wrestling industry was rocked after a series of allegations of Sexual Misconduct were levied against Wrestlers across many promotions. It started off from the UK scene, and within hours it had gone global. A man that was featured heavily on this card was Joey Ryan. Joey was released from Impact in July of that year, whilst Austin Aries would also face similar allegations. He would be let go from TNA, and WWE due to attitude issues.
1. The Rebirth Of Jeff Hardy.
The Story of Mr Jeffrey Nero Hardy can only be decribed in some words. Complicated. Controversial, and. Conflicting. His first run in WWE ended in controversy back in April of 2003, due to his poor in ring work, and behavorial issues. He would be brought back to the promotion in 2006, on a three year deal, and was then released again. This time it was due drug dependency issues that resulted in Jeff being charged with drug posession. He would be allowed to work for TNA 5 months after this, but in the background his case was getting worse along with his addiction issues. This would end with the Victory Road situation. Jeff went to the ring in no state to perform. This would get Hardy suspended from the company. He returned at Bound For Glory 2011, and would instantly be put in a programme against Jeff Jarrett. This would start his return arc, that would see him have matches against Bobby Roode, and. Kurt Angle, in the months that led up to this showcase. He beat Austin Aries to become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. This was inspiring to me. I've never had addiction issues, but I have had learning issues that have plagued my life, so watching Jeff Overcome his struggles during this period. said to me that you can overcome anything if you put your mind to it.
