Monday Night Raw Review.
Adam Pearce Segment.
I liked this. Adam Pearce came out to kick the show off, but before he could get a word out, we got a live walk through of The Brons, and. Paul Heyman. When they got to the ring, Adam informed them that Seth is now out for a while, due to receiving surgery last week after they attacked him, and that tonight thare would be a Battle Royal, to determine who would face Cm Punk at SNME. Adam put forward his frustrations with The Brons, and afterwards Paul would go on to put them over in his own passionate way. This would be a long running storythread that would be the epicentre of the show. Tell Paul what you really think Becky. Am I the only person that thought when Adam asked for Seth's belt back, it sounded a bit childish like. Oh come on, give it back, i'll be your best friend, oh Bron your mean.
Superstars Seen Showing Up.
Maxine Dupri. Rusev, and. Stephanie Vaquer were all seen showing to work, ahead of their Matches tonight.
AJ Styles And Dragon Lee vs JD Mcdonagh And Finn Balor WWE Tag Team Championship.
This was excellent. This didn't feel like a standard TV Match, what we saw was the start of the end of a mans career. The Match featured strong work from both teams, as this allowed the physicality to let the story of the Match shine. The Near falls were well placed, and AJ got the win with a Styles, and just like that AJ and Dragon Lee are our new WWE Tag Team Champions. I liked this, and it's a great way to start of Aj retirement run.
The Uso's Divided.
Over the past week I've become convinced that Jimmy and Jey Uso are becoming WWE's answer to Kirk Vanhouten, because they're Uso's Divided. More on this later.
Dirty Dom vs Rusev IC Championship.
I'm just going to say it. I'm bored of this feud. Dom retained, but was stopped cheating by Penta. This was predictable, boring, i'm done with this rivalry.
UFC Fighters At Ringside.
Max Griffin, and one of the inventors of the Stockton slap Nate Diaz were sat at ringside. I do feel jealous of these guys, because next week when the WWE UK tickets go on sale, i'm going to have to pay a lot of money, and these guys won't. I'm thinking of a career change, one that's more painful.
Maxine Dupri vs Becky Lynch WWE Womens IC Championship.
Even though this Match didn't get a clean finish, as Becky Smacked Maxine with the belt, and it was thrown out, I do think that Dupri has improved quite a bit, and has come on leaps and bounds over the past year, and working with someone like Lynch just proves this.
Heel Kabuki Warriors.
I've said this loads to my friends over the past few weeks, but I love Heel Kabuki Warriors. Enough said.
Stephanie Vaquer vs Roxanne Perez.
Stephanie Vaquer, beat. Roxanne Perez in a flat TV Match, that offered up absolutely nothing.
14 Man Battle Royal Winner Faces Cm Punk At SNME.
There was three main plots to this Match. I'm not the biggest fan of TV Battle Royals, but this one was watchable. I could talk both Sheamus, and Kofi Kingston, having great performances, or that Dirty Dom trying to cheat, but the winner has to go to Jey Uso, and his brother Jimmy, who carved out their own story, that furthered Jeys decent into solo heeldom. Jey eliminated his own brother, and will face Punk one week from Saturday for the World Heavyweight Championship. I liked this development.
Overview Of Monday Night Raw.
I liked this broadcast. The overall flow felt better than what it has done in weeks, and it was refreshing to see.
This weeks Monday Night Raw is a solid 7/10.
