The Top 5 Fighters Trained By Duke Rufus.

Intro.

Death is a final statement in life, and is incredibly affirming as you recall memories from someones life, and Legacy, and the fighters that were trained by The Duke, that had the first name Rufus, will always be able to look at his advice, and wisdom when it came to the fight game. RIP Duke Rufus.

5. Maycee Barber.

Maycee is a true warrior, from battling her own health issues, she has become a standout in the womens Flyweight Division. She made the move to Milwaukee to train with Duke and his team, before her UFC debut, even though this timeline isn't exactly specified.

4. Paul Felder.

As a stand out in the Lightweight Division. Paul Felder is known to have pratically lived in Dukes MMA Gym Rufussport in Milwaukee Wisconsin. This would help his career in many different ways. He would become a fan favourite for his attitude which is something that you can't teach.

3. Jens Pulver.

Little Evil was a fan favourite from the early days of the closing days of the Division in late 2001, but he was a face that would change the way that the world would look at Lightweights. He had a stint as a Welterweight, but this is less remembered for a myriad of reasons, but his legacy will always be linked to the Lightweight Division as a former Champion.

2. Tyrone Woodley.

I know Tyrone Woodley isn't everyones favourite fighter, but if you ask me, there was levels to his game, as a stand out in the Welterweight Division, he became the champion after dethroning the then champion Ruthless Robbie Lawler at UFC 201.

1. Anthony Pettis.

From leaving the WEC as it's last ever Champion, beating Benson Smooth Henderson in the Glendale Arizona final showcase, to joining the UFC the following year, and quickly becoming a stand out in their Lightweight Division. He become the UFC Lightweight Champion, beating Benson again, and he had a banger of a fight against Gilbert Melandez, becoming a late contender for the fight of the year in 2014 at UFC 181.
